Nancy gave me snarky attitude answering the phone when I inquired about getting an animal that was in a live trap, removed from my backyard. She specifically said, “good luck finding a company to help you” This company would probably do a lot better if they didn’t have someone with an attitude problem dealing with all their clientele over the phone

These guys know what they are talking about. I'm a landlord and these guys spent 30 mins alone teaching me what to look out for to prevent bed bugs from even happening. I will be using them for pre inspection services to prevent future bed bug infestations and if god forbid it happens again at one of my rental properties. I really can't express how much I recommend these guys. The pricing is fair, the service top to bottom was amazing and they came right away, they actually worked later just to come to my place today. I'm super thankful and hope this review helps others pick this place so they get the same wonderful experience.

Roger Mayer was super informative and it was an absolute pleasure working with him. We learned a lot about our property and proper maintenance moving forward. Terrible waste of time and money! Not only was my house not treated properly, I was treated with childish disrespect by a employee with initials N M. This company FAILED to treat the duplex me and my children live in; the bug problem has existed for several years jumping back and forth between units. Every time the adjoining unit was treated I was never notified, or when mine was the neighbors claim to receive no notification either. The last two times our home was treated I disposed of most our furniture and clothing/linens just to ensure that the treatment would be most effective. I HOPE our landlord uses a more professional, honest, and effective treatment company instead of the cheapest. I would sue for incompetence and the wasted time and money if I were the one paying for this poor quality of service. Several of my friends and co workers all feel or heard the same things about the poor quality of service from this place. I strongly recommend to EVERYONE who wants to save few bucks spend a few dollars more for a company that does a thorough job the FIRST time. DON'T waste your money on a company that has no problem doing a terrible job on something so serious to everyone. I would sue for wasted time and money if treatment cost came out of my pocket. Thank You for reading, and thank you Canadian Pest Control for the poor and unprofessional work that allows me to complain all wish. One last thing, when I called to get some answers about why our house was not thoroughly treated the FIRST time, I got attitude from (NM) then she just hung up the phone like a angry child instead of doing her job, and answer a few questions about their previous failed attempts. Believe me; I have better things to do than complain but their poor treatment of me and this house NEEDS to be heard.

I called Canadian Pest Control after discovering a hornets' nest on the side of my shed. The receptionist was really professional (courteous, reliable, etc.). The pest control person Ben called me back quickly and was over to my house within a couple hours of my initial call. He clearly explained what he was going to be doing and was very thorough, checking the shed inside and out and making sure the queen died. It only took about 15 minutes for him to spray the pesticide and be on his way. The bill was less than $100 which I found extremely reasonable. I was very impressed with Ben and this company and I would definitely call these folks again if I have the misfortune of discovering another nest.

The whole team helped us eliminate our colony of bed bugs. The technician came over promptly to inspect and then fit us in within two days for treatment. The administrators answered my phone calls and gave me the advice, elaborating on the details.

What a terrifying feeling to believe your home- a place for friends and family- that safe place- might be infested by intrusive, disrespectful, overbearing, creepy crawlers!!! They were very calming and knowledgeable- at my home within a couple hours!! They made my house feel like a home again when I was assured that there was no such infestation!!! I was super happy with the customer service! I was pleasantly surprised at how fast they came to our rescue. The gentleman (Ben) that came to the house was professional and friendly. He explained everything very clearly and was helpful showing me how to use the traps. I would highly recommend the use of this company. Well worth the cost of the service.

OVERALL HANDS DOWN THE best pest control company in Thunder Bay! They always answer the phone. The help line was a godsend getting myself and the kids through the bedbug infestation at our new place (found out after moving in). I was literally in tears and beside myself when I was told what the insects were. Thanks to the staff who calmed me down (no small feat). They were all so nice and caring! A company that actually CARES!!!! I know! Unheard of right???! We are now educated about bed bugs and knowledge is POWER! They shared info and tips on how to avoid them! As a new homeowner and landlord the last thing you want to hear is that you have bedbugs. Luckily a friend recommended Canadian Pest Control and I'm extremely happy I chose their service. Their staff was extremely reassuring and helpful as they gave me the necessary tools to start the process and keep my tenants calm. Their service was quick to respond and they taught preventive measures for the future and how to identify outbreaks. Hopefully I never have to use their services again, but if I ever do have an issue with pests I know I'll be in good hands with Canadian Pest Control.

Ninette, Roger and Ben are the best in the business, if you are complaining about them then you have not prepared properly for bed bug spraying and yes, you probably have a huge infestation that you, and only you caused because your house is a pig sty. we have multiple rental units and use CPC for all bed bug cases. The most we every spray is two and that is usually because the tenant is not preparing properly, is a hoarder or the infestation got so bad because of their denial.

They sprayed a house for bed bugs. I asked them home much it would cost, but they would not tell me. The kept spraying it and waited until the bill was very high before they told me how much it was. It would not be so bad if it worked, but it did not. They told me what I have to do to get rid of the bugs is turn the heat off in the winter. The bugs are resistant to the sprayed they used. I had it inspected after they were finished and was told it was a massive infestation. I had to pay Heat Treat Inc. to get rid of the bed bugs. They are providing a service that clearly does not work.
