Bought a vine borer trap and lure. I didn't trap one vine borer but lots of wasp looking insects. My squash was infested with vine borers. At first they were interested, 12 emails. But all of a sudden it was like they had nothing more to say. I tried to use a Canadian company. If they won't stand behind their products I can't stand behind them. I guess I have to order from the US. Since I posted this review one of the owners has contacted me, and to their credit they are honestly trying to make this right.

I've never been here but I get my shipment every two weeks and have no flies on my farm. We have livestock and when we have visitors it's the first thing they notice.......NO FLIES

Ordered ladybugs back in August and they got rid of my aphid infestation. Delivery is the following week if ordered before thursdays which is fair.

While well intentioned, this business as the maturity of a 2 year old. They over charged me for an EMPTY chamber, which I bought thinking I would get a Praying Mantis egg case with. They ended up forgetting to ship me the egg case, and now they wanna charge me extra to ship me that egg case.... no thank you. So I ended up paying 20$ for a cheap, empty little kids insect chamber that would have cost us two bucks at the Dollar store. The lesson: Don't trust businesses that don't know how to do business!

Anyhow,I just learned about nematodes and natural way to take care of lawns. My lawns look better than ever ! Bonus ,no chemicals being used on lawn that my kids play on.

Bought the gypsy moth trap & lure. The lure is worth about $7/8. This whole kit (and I bought 2 of them) cost me $25 each so that translates into $17 for a cardboard trap. It comes with 2 cards that have sticky sides but when that is full the moths can find their way out because it is dark inside and they can see the light from the openings. I have watched them go in and come out. A ridiculous price for this trap. Better to buy the lite and make your own trap. At the very least it should come with a dozen sticky cards. I do not recommend this product. After my review above this company has been very helpful. I have more sticky card inserts and having the traps up for a few days now find they really do work. Still not happy with a cardboard trap for the price but they do work.

We ordered 2000 predators to test on our gardens. After many emails from ups with dates confirmed then cancelled due to long weekend etc we finally got the parcel. The cooling pac the small box contained a pill bottle with a room temp cooling Pac and newspaper wrapped around the presimilus predator . The bottle count was 2000 although maybe 300 had survived the shipping. No where on that box did the parcel say time sensative material or handle with care. Super disappointed . When we contacted supplier NCI they spent the next week justifying that they felt the counts were fine a d did not offer to tell a the shipment . Last year I grew 74 tomato plants and numerous herbs in my small gardens . Now I have a new yard with outrageous amounts of gardens. 1800 square feet of pumpkin n n squash patch .Another 1500 square feet of various vegetable raised bed garden . 5 smaller raised beds for tomotoes . Had a friend recommend the predators over spraying . I would not recommend using this company and would give it a negative rating if that was a choice . Joyce a very dissatisfied customer.

This is an update to my previous review. I have added stars as I just recieved a phone call from the company owner who very patiently listened to me recount my experience. He admitted that his company dropped the ball when I started having issues with my preying mantis egg case. He took full responsibility for the mistakes and is doing everything he can to now correct the issues as he has found out about them. I told him I was very aware that nature doesn't always work and that I get that, but it was the lack of customer service that had me frustrated. He has said that in light of this experience he is going to put safe guards in place to ensure it doesn't happen again. At this point the customer service has improved. I ordered a preying mantis egg case as a science experience for my day home, it arrived mid March with a tag that said hatching will occur in 1 to 8 weeks. At 8 weeks I called as ot had not hatched and was told to wait two more weeks as they seemed to be taking a bit longer to hatch this year due to the cooler spring. Two weeks later I called again and it took 3 phone calls one a day before I could get to talk to anyone other than the receptionist, as the person whom I needed to talk to wasn't returning any of my calls. When I finally got to talk to someone they told me again to wait another 2 weeks to hit the 12 week mark and if they hadn't hatched they would send me out a replacement right away. I emailed the lady today about getting it replaced and got an email back saying that they are now sold out and they will replace it next year in the spring. I am SUPER unimpressed. I should have ordered my own replacement from homedepot before they ran out of stock and paid for a new case as I now have very upset kids who don't get to see their project through to completion.

When placing an order online your confirmation does not show you the shipping address so if it was entered incorrectly you have no way of knowing if the address is correct. This happened to my order and my predator mites were all dead by the time they arrived. I contacted NIC and they made no attemt to refund my money or rectify the situation. I found another company called Koppert that provides the same product at a lower cost and their online order confirmation includes the shipping address. Much better way to go!
