Higher priced grocery store with beer and wine available in store. Bakery, flower dept, deli and hot food including brick oven pizza made in front of you. Lots of variety of produce, wide selection of artisinal cheese, fresh seafood and the fact that it's open 24 hours make this grocery store a go to destination

Need to be a bit more mindful of stoping the conveyor belt at the cash. My groceries and the person's behind me were forced together for almost a minute because the cashier wouldn't stop the belt. Every time we tried to fix them, the belt would go again. Eventually, we just left our things in a heap.

Organic produce. Weekly specials such as broccoli this week. Mushrooms, some reduced. Usually a rack with reduced items such as bread daily. Calf liver difficult to find and available. I am vegetarian but it is for someone else. Convenient location.

Not a bad place some items are a little expensive and the layout can be a bit confusing it's in a good location and a go to for most people as location is close to everything It does have the staples that everyone looks for as well as some specialty items. There is almost always good sales on meat, fruits And veg and a good selection we will go out of our way to make a trip there if the deal is to good to be true overall a nice place to shop

I used to avoid Metro due to prices, but since it is now the closest grocery store I've grown quite fond. Though most stuff is more expensive, you can find a lot of really great deals at metro. I've never had any issues with quality of my food.

Not impressed with this metro. The produce spoils quickly and the quality is not the greatest. The hot foods sold in the deli such as wedges and chicken fingers are dry and stale. I have often found milk and yogurt days past its best before date on the shelf. I bought dog treats once that had a best before date of a year prior. Their packaged bake goods (muffins) are dry and tasteless. One approximately five occasions I bought garbage tags at the cash which they don't hand to you until after you have paid even upon reminding them they still forgot to put them in my bag causing me to have to return once home or have to keep track and remind them.....the list goes on and on. Save money go to no frills plus their produce is not only cheaper but better quality.

Metro has always been a store that has plenty of stock to take advantage of the sales... however I am not happy with the fact that I know I have air miles to redeem but the store register says I don't have any air miles to redeem... what's up with that?

Metro in Ganaoque if my favorite place to get my groceries. While some items are a bit more expensive then other stores in town, I fond the quality of fresh produce and meats is much better here. The staff if friendly and very helpful as well.

Great location!! Clean, friendly helpful staff. A dedicated covid sanitizer goes around constantly cleaning all hight touch areas. Lots of great sales all the time, can't beat the steak sale prices, 25$ for two , two inch strip loins!!! Amazing. I really look forward to shopping here every summer.

With all the craziness going on with people hording food it was so... nice today to go get some groceries without seeing the greed of others. People were pleasantly kind,we talk to each other. I said hello, to as many people that worked there . All the shelves were stocked.. other then the tp section lol the meat section, I got a variety of meats,and the price was good. I even got luch,two chicken wraps that we the best flavors. It was a pleasure too do all my shopping, and have enough for a few weeks. AND!!! The lovely cashear came after me with two bag I left behind ❤ She was so pleasant and kind to me. We even did the elbow bump lol We had the best day,a wounderful drive from Verona, a drive with our dog,groceries and the best supper ,full fridge. I am feeling very thankful, and happy. Amazing. Was shopping with a friend as i have done many times before. Remarked between my friend and i at the cost of 1L of chocolate milk being 3x the market average for the area. The store manager was stocking shelves to help his staff nearby. He had no issue eavesdropping and looking at me saying "let me know if you want a job", assuming i was too poor to afford their rates. Disgusting behavior. As front line managerial personnel this poorly qualified individual should know better. I have spent thousands at metro in my years. I do not deserve to be insulted and condescended for a personal dialogue that was not directed at him personally.

My Mom and brother were really pleased with the appearance and the variety and quality of the items. I guess your bakery makes really good rye bread, hear tell! Thank you for helping me with this. Good store to pick a couple things up. If you watch the sales you can find some good deals but it can be a little pricy at points to. The bakery is nice with some fresh bread but the meat and sea food counter leave something to be desired.

First of all most of the cashiers are great. Karen and Ainsley are by far the nicest and I look for them always when checking out. But the reason for the poor review is I purchased a vegie tray and it was terrible. It supposedly was made fresh the day I purchased it however upon opening it the majority of carrots were mushy. I didn't see them as the top few that were showing looked ok. Very disappointed and will not purchase again. Well metro has let me down once again by selling product after the best before date. I didn't have my glasses so I couldn't read the date on the sour cream. Sure enough when I got home I checked and it was past the best before date. I guess I need to stop shopping local and go else where.

It's not Pinos but it is a really good grocery store. Prices are Metro standard which means kind of high. Excellent meat department with local fresh and smoked fish. It boasts a large selection of grocery items. The produce department is the best in Soo for fresh produce (Sorry Mr. Pino) No wine kiosk.

Stores are not too big but are loaded with selection. This applies to the Keele/Wilson and Bathurst/Sheppard locations. Parking and access is better at Keele/Wilson location. Prices are a bit higher than the Great Cdn Superstore but not that much different. Liked the take out pizza made on the premises at Bathurst location.

Really great Metro for a small town. Much better than many others I've been to around the province. Prices were metro average, customer service was good.
