I feel swindled by Lowe’s promises and not being up front about what their delivery and install really means. BEWARE!! Bought a washer and dryer with delivery and install. Over 3700$. The installer couldn’t make the dryer vent connect to a previously connected same brand dryer( it was the exact same brand of dryer taken out) which is the same positioning. He lost his temper and threw his jacket and glasses to the ground in a fit of rage. He threw his hands up and said it was now my problem and told me to contact lowe’s to fix it. He was an installer yet he had no drill to cut cabinet holes for dryer water feed, no metal tape to put around dryer vent and no tools to help him get behind the dryer no idea on how to solve a problem. The person was totally unprepared for what was advertised as an install service. Upon calling Lowe’s they gave an apology for the rude behaviour and 35$ off for the service not provided. The system is broken with Lowe’s promising installation and the delivery company xpo logistics not able to supply people that can fulfill the promise of installation. The delivery manager Erik told me the delivery was done and installation was a “courtesy.” yet when on the Lowe’s web site I had to buy new water feed hoses to make the delivery and install “free”. A cost of 68$.

Went their to pick up our customers purchase and waited over 40 minutes and we had to go because they were taking too long and we had an appointment. Worst place for your home needs, horrible customer service, no staffing to help around, prices are not competitive, go to Home Depot or any other store, will never recommend to a customer

A big chain with the a wide range of products and fair prices. Staff on the floor are good when you can find them. There appears to be an era of cashiers who struggle at times with product look up.

Jeremiah was very helpful and knowledgeable when helping me select the proper outdoor stair hand-railing and hardware. He helped me create a list and helped describe the installation process as well without making me feel rushed. I will definitely be shopping here again.

The expected lineup with only 10% capacity want as big as I expected and moved quickly. There was hand sanitizer available just inside the entrance. Still a bit early to buy plants in the garden centre as I noticed many had frost damage from being left uncovered overnight in sub zero temps. Better to try next weekend when things look to warm up a bit more.

You will have trouble finding stuff in the store if you're new. It's a huge store and the staff isn't that helpful. As a matter of fact even the floor reps are guessing as like you would. LOL

My name is Bryce, this wasn't my first experience shopping with Lowes but it was by far my best. I was met by a very welcoming staff when I first enter and 2 team members were able to guide me to the exact products I need while also making sure I was getting the right tool for the job by asking me questions. I was pleasantly surprised by their product knowledge. When it came time to check out the young man scan everything and had it ready in 10seconds flat. I just tapped my card and we were off. 5 stars I would shop here again

Went in looking for a Firepit for the gf's backyard and ended up leaving with some beautiful flowers for her garden and the hardware to fix the screen door. The staff were extremely friendly and more than willing to help us find what we were looking for, unfortunately due to circumstances out of the stores hands we didn't leave with the fireplace we intended to buy as the warehouse/supplier is out of stock. But we did leave happy and eager to come back here to shop again.

Worst garden centre at this location. Went for normal supplies had absolutely NO small, medium pots at all, no perlite, not one item of plant ph up or down or calcium/mag or similar, no chunky bark, coco fibre or chunks, or same to be used for aroid mixes. I mean when I say they had nothing….they had nothing! Then to the staff working in centre…they could not be found, no carts or baskets, when I asked staff for one & they pointed out to parking lot! I walked out disappointed & empty handed! This was second experience which was exactly the same as last year! Rated 0/10.

The ladies who assisted me get my cordless grass trimmer were exceptionally helpful. Not only did they know their stuff, they were right there, when I needed to get another trimmer down because the one that I had, had a pierced box, (probably done by a forklift operator). Way to go!

Ordered sump pump online, after 4 days received an email saying your order isn't available. And went on thier website found a different sump pump I was looking for which shows they have 22 in stock at Winnipeg south store, drove 30 minutes to get to the store and told they don't have it. Luckily my old sump pump started pumping water out of my 3 story house basement. I could have flooded and paid tens of thousands of dollars. Poor customer service, out dated website . I didn't mean to give 1 star, Google should have an options for "0" star. Lowe's is Low!!!????????????

Like that they get some beautiful rare plants in from Costa Farms and sell for a reasonable price. Don't like that they are usually overwatered and that that they don't limits quantities like Rona does, despite many people from the plant community including myself asked them to do repeatedly. Resellers buy them all up, chop them up and sell them for 3 times the price on Marketplace.

Best place for appliances if you dont want to wait for delivery. Got my dishwasher in 2 days and on another purchase i got my laundry pair in also 2 days. Which was way quicker than anyother place i found. Won't mention names here.

Great service! I walk in the door with a list of things I need, the guy takes me directly to all the different departments to complete the list. It took 20 mins instead of the hours it would have taken to walk around finding everything myself. The guy helping me was excellent.

Went to the garden centre after reviewing the flyer. I was very disappointed in the selection as well as the lack of customer service and customer focus. The employees were not helpful at all in locating the flyer items that I wanted. They actually didn't have most of them in stock. The employees were more focused on moving carts of plants around and bringing plants out from the back then they were in helping anyone. No carts are available in the garden centre you have to go to the front of the store and then go back out to the garden centre or take an unsanitized one from the parking lot . Not great options. Whatever happened to great customer service, very sad experience. I definitely will not be back and will give my hard earned money to the local greenhouse.

The woman at the service desk by the contractor entrance was an absolute angel. Super helpful and she tried so hard. But everywhere she sent me to look for something, nobody would show up for service. I waited a full 20 minutes in one department (the one where the product turned out to be) with paging going on the store PA and nobody showing up. What should have been a 20 minute visit turned into an hour and a half of frustration.

Put a $450 order on a closet door 4 months ago, found out they canceled the order on it with out notifying me. Now I call the store to find out what's going on, and the service rep tells me the reason the order is taking so long is because of covid. Terrible customer service. I'd recommend going to home depot or reputable hardware store

Wasted $800 on a washing machine that was improperly installed by their delivery company. Their extended warranty service will not cover the damage, and there is zero accountability between Lowes, the delivery company or the extended warranty. Will never be dealing with Lowes again.

We recently helped my older parents to do some significant renovations over a few weeks. We had scouted out items to purchase at a few stores in Winnipeg and were so pleased at our first impression of customer service and products at Lowe's versus the other stores. Over the weeks of our reno, we had to go to the store numerous times (many, many times) for parts, products and advice and received the most amazing customer service every.single.time. Not once did we need to spend time looking for elusive staff, as there were always one or two or three waiting to help. They were knowledgable and friendly and ever so patient with my hard of hearing father. I appreciated that some of the staff were also more mature and understood the issues older folks face. Their return policy made returning parts we didn't need easy. And they did small acts of kindness like running and quickly getting my mother a cart when she was having some challenges. I highly recommend that you take your business to Lowe's. You will not regret it!

This store is my favorite stop for my home improvement needs, the always have a great selection of tools and supplies. The store is clean, well lit and very organized. The staff is always welcoming and helpful. The pricing can be a bit higher than the other big box stores, but I would still recommend them.

Wanted to get some blinds cut. Spent one hour to have 3 employees try and figure out what they have in stock, and then complain about how slow their computers were, and how they didn't know how to do the special orders. Finally just left went to Home Depot down the street. The curtains at Home Depot, were cheaper, better quality and the staff were properly trained. Go to Home Depot if you want blinds.

This was by far the worst curbside pick up experience I have ever had. After pulling into the spot I'm calling the number and waiting on hold for 10 minutes I became irritated and I went inside waited in line and customer service and talk to a real person and my phone call still had not been answered, at this point I was told that my order was in the lumber yard and I would need to see the cashier there. Upon arrival with the invoice that was given to me a customer service the cashier in The LumberYard had absolutely no idea what was going on or where my order was. She pointed at the sand and said it's over there you can go load it in your car. The only thing that this curbside pickup was good for was I didn't have to pay when I was in the store because I prepaid when I ordered. It would have taken less time for me to go into the store go through the checkout and load my own car then to use their "curbside pickup service".

Best shopping experience I've had in recent memory. My husband and I went into Lowes to look at kitchen faucets tonight. Patty the plumbing associate was there within minutes to assist us and she was very knowledgeable and helpful. We weren't even planning to buy anything tonight and she made us feel very comfortable about making the purchase. Some other associates in the store also were very helpful and made the shopping trip enjoyable. We ended up getting the faucet priced matched and Patty gave us a deal to make up for the difference. Patty was very patient with us as we made our final decision. She even set-up an install appointment for us in addition to the purchase which was an added bonus. Service has drastically improved at this location compared to when this Lowes first opened. Great job!
