Edit: After my 1 star review below they finally got on the problem. They sent out Craig, and he was thorough and understanding/apologetic, and they are sending out someone early next week to clean the vents and spray the attic (they needed a ladder and ours isn't tall enough). The company as a whole is definitely still disorganized, but ask for Craig when it comes to brown recluses! Original: I'm not sure where all these 5 star reviews are coming from.. It's affordable and they are nice enough, but they are so unorganized; they couldn't get dates, charges, or instructions for us right (one said we had to leave the house while another said we could stay). And they've been here to spray 3 times and we're still seeing brown recluses in our house. They aren't very thorough either. They just sprayed a few areas and suggested we buy a bug bomb and do that ourselves. And most of the dead spiders we see are from traps we laid ourselves, and not the couple they put down.

I thought I had been hearing rodents in our walls so I called Healthy Home Pest Control. Of the companies I contacted, Healthy Home was the only one to offer a free inspection. Others talked about their treatment plans without even seeing the property. I really liked that. It turns out the night before we discovered a bird nesting almost exactly wear the noise was coming from. But I wanted to see what the experts had to say. Michele arrived on time and wearing a mask which I appreciated. She was friendly and knowledgeable. She searched for access points for for rodents and didn't see any. She agreed I was probably hearing our newly discovered friend. She did not believe we had a rodent issue based on lack of visible evidence of droppings, etc. She did advise us to use glue traps for small insects and spiders since the Brown Recluse is prevalent in our area. We did not use their services, because we didn't need to, but based on my conversation on the phone and my interaction with Michele, I would not hesitate to call Healthy Home Pest Care if I needed pest control.

I think the applications work but I was told they would come quarterly. They stared coming monthly and charging me $63 for outside applications. I have told them numerous times on the phone and by email for the last 5 months not to come here unless I call them. I just received a voicemail that they are coming out today. At this point, I just want my number removed from their system.

Tim and his coworker (sorry I can't remember your name, man) took care of my needs 100% and even came out on one of the days it was triple digit heat index outside. Despite that, Tim and his coworker were freaking champions and were extremely courteous, professional, and knowledgeable, explaining every step of the process. It was remarkable how much crud was in my vents, and 1 week after the service I can definitely tell the difference in the quality of air I am breathing. And the pricing was very affordable! So if your are overdue for an Air Duct and Vent cleaning I highly recommend you contact the folks at Healthy Home and Pest. 5 stars ya'll, and Thank You! Dealing with my first bedbug experience was nerve wrecking, other places were charging me tons of money for treatment. As soon as I called and spoke to Joe he made me feel much better and at ease about my situation, he scheduled Craig to come to my place. I just called and talked to a young man about my carpenter bees problem and he encouraged me to set up a pest progam that was very reasonable. I am having a lot of issues with carpenter bees around my wood deck and yard. The gentlemen was very helpful and he deserves 5 stars for his customer service. Prompt, honest, efficient, very reasonable. First, I have searched for a company that would help with a roof/attic ice dam problem. Many other "handyman" companies did NOT show up... those that did were not clear in their estimates or their communications. I was looking to these guys (Healthy Home Pest Control & Services) to blow-in insulation. Turns out I do not need blown-in insulation at all. They showed me pictures of what the attic looked like and said that at most a couple rolls of fiberglass insulation will do the job. I appreciated the honesty and the assessment of my needs. I will definitely call them again when I need their services.

This company was fast, friendly and very informative. They were the only company I could get to come out same day. Though I am a little disappointed that the traps set ultimately didn't work and ended up having to purchase my own which was additional money I wish I didn't have to spend on top of the fee I already paid the company. Overall there customer service was good but I don't know if I would ever use them again.

Called to schedule treatment of yard for ants. Got an appointment within a week. The salesperson was pleasant but frankly, once a client has agreed to be scheduled, stop selling and wasting everyone's time. Person that came in to spray was very nice but was gone so fast I'm not sure how thorough the treatment really was and where all it was applied. After a week, the ant situation had worsened considerably. I called back to get a respray and was told it would take a week. On the day they were supposed to come out, they didn't show up. I called and was assured they would come back after another week because they were too busy. If you make a promise and drop the ball, make it right, don't let the client wait even more. So that's 3 weeks wait time for a respray while the ant situation worsen by magnitudes every day. They did come out then, as promised, and sprayed again. In the middle of a pandemic though, it would be appreciated to have your people wear masks and keep a safe distance when coming to my door. It took 4 days after the respray for the ants to clear up. Bottom line, employees are nice but keep your promised appointments.

Michelle and Joe were both so amazing! They were so informative and understanding of my stress level given the situation. I called on Sunday afternoon and spoke with joe who was more than friendly and accommodating and he was able to get Michelle out to my apartment the next day! Less than 24 hours I had someone out to confirm what kind of infestation I had. Michelle was also so friendly and patient with me and answered all of my questions thoroughly and even offered her personal phone number to call/text with any additional questions or concerns. The inspection was completely free and I felt very informed and at ease with what I needed to do moving forward after the inspection. The only reason they get 2 stars and not 1 is because,Jason was very friendly and nice when he came out to inspect my house. after they get your money I dont think they care anymore about customer service. They treated my house I am not sure if they really did a good job or not. There was just powder all over the place and a note that said we had to leave it all over the place for 10 days. My candy dish was broken by them and they never called me or said they broke it on the note. I called them and they said to send a picture and how much it costs. I did and the only reply I got about it was "Gotcha" they didnt even care they broke it. They said my brother broke it by helping move my bed. my brother said he heard something break while he was downstairs and came up and asked what was just broken in my room. It was put on my dresser and not even acknowledged that they had broke it.i think I should have called a few more companies before committing to the first one but I was freaked out about having bugs in my couch

First let me start by saying, I really appreciate how professional Jason handle the situation. I knew nothing about bed bugs, how they travel or get into your bed or apt. He took the time to explain it all to me. Gave me some points on how to keep myself safe. Also, how to treat my apt for myself even if I couldn't afford to use their service. If I had the money to treat my unit and the other ones next to me I would use this company hands down. My senior building has a bed bug building infestation problem, so Mr Jason took the time to explain to me that it would not be wise to treat my unit without treatment for the rest of the building. I appreciate his knowledge and his expertise on the matter. He found a few of them in my bed and I had been bitten and didn't even know it. So if you have a problem this is the company that you would want to use. You get professionalism and expert service for the money that you will be spending. He went over and above what they normally do to check out the problem.

This is a younger company with very polite staff. We had a bit of an issue recently with billing but after speaking with the owner we worked it out with no issues. They have been very responsive to us and dealing with our issue. Their techs that always come out to the house are friendly, quick and efficient. Michelle was very knowledgeable, professional and nice. She didn't try to oversell. Sweet and to the point. Explained services very well. Glad to work with them. (Updated) In August, I spent $2K on whole house insulation (~9" of blown), for in my opinion, nothing. My last two Ameren bills were almost $200, which is more than usual! The thermostat remains at 74 degrees during the day (summer) as it has for almost 2 years. The air duct cleaning, which was over $400 (good price) hasn't changed the amount of dust. All I got was a kinked hose and subsequent water damage on my ceiling with an additional LARGE spot within the last month...they offered to pay for ceiling repair (nice of them) but after being told the repair would be pretty noticeable like the repair in my kitchen which is shown in the 2nd & 3rd pics below; and the damage really wasn't that bad. At the time, I believed/agreed with him (the guy who blew in the insultation). However, with the new 1.5' spot, I now disagree. Everyone was very nice and responded in a timely manner, but the gentleman who stepped on the air handler hose in the attic should've apologized, especially since he told me he knew stepped on it. Very nice people, very responsive, but poor value and too many issues. Their other services might be great though.

Garon is the man! That young man took out a bald faced hornets nest about 20 feet in the air in about 20 minutes. With no bee suit! More of a man than me. I looked up bee removal in Belleville. Healthy home pest control came up plus 3 others. I entered my info and within 10 minutes I got a call. Garon happened to be in the area. He was here within a half hour of my phone conversation. 20 minutes later and my problem is gone and I can go goof off the rest of the day without worrying if someone is gonna get attacked by hornets. I give them one, because they have manged to stay in business. I was new to the IL area, and looked for a local Pest Control Service to sign up for annual Termite Service since the home I bought had previous infestation issues. I called, signed , and paid in full for my service with Healthy Home by 08th of April 2019. The one stipulation that I did discuss prior to signing with them was that I have four dogs and would need to have someone call approximately 15-20 minutes prior to arriving at my home (This goes directly to the managers statement that they are watchful of their customers interests. HUH!!) This service for placing Bait Stations, and servicing them quarterly as well as what is sold as Quarterly/Monthly Pest Control cost $540 inclusive of a $60 discount for paying upfront for the full year. It is currently 17th of NOV, and my quarterly service became unimportant once I was a customer. My termite stations were placed 02 April, then service again 27 June, and 25 Sept. And I had to call them to find out when I would receive my 4th bait (as you can see they don’t worry about quarterly or keeping to any schedule). As for the “Quarterly Pest Control” Well I received one on 31 March, then 30 May and NOTHING SINCE. Now I was told when I question this just yesterday, that they tried to call my cell but since I didn’t answer they just hadn’t rescheduled. SINCE MAY!!! I did let the manager know that was a crock since I respond to my cell phone and any calls missed in the same day. There was further issues, as on 30th of May when they came to service NO ONE called my home prior (which occurred a few times) but on this day the service provider not only didn’t call but marked my account as having serviced my property. This was impossible since my back yard has a privacy fence that is kept locked at all times. So when I got home and found the notice (obliviously a lie) I called the office to let them know they were misinformed by their own employee. They then gave me a $50 credit for my inconvenience. Then on 04 June they called to ask if I would like to purchase Mosquito Treatment, and quoted $50/ application and they would apply four times during the summer. I accepted and applied by credit, and then paid in full to receive another 10% discount so $135 for 4 applications. They came on 13 June, 26 July, 29 Aug. Then mid October called me to come and apply the final Mosquito application (REALLY IN OCT???) So I told them obliviously this should have been completed Mid-September at the latest, and that I WILL be expecting to get this final service early June of 2020. My problem with Healthy Home Pest Control & Services is they are not committed to excellence in ANY aspect of THEIR business. They DO NOT uphold any standard of integrity,or personal responsibility. I question their professionalism, and find it odd that their REAL job which is to come to your home on a SET SCHEDULE, but they don’t seem to have anyone capable of watching and monitoring the customers they are SUPPOSED to service. If you need a pest control that you can RELY on then DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY!!! There is a lot of competition in this industry and if these guys can’t even comprehend QUARTERLY then seems to me once they have your money your just an after thought to them. I would be glad to meet with you. I have spoken to you on the phone I do believe, but you have my information give me a call. If you change my opinion I would be glad to note that in a new post. As for now... All I received was an email, and still waiting for my remaining service.

Unfortunately when you have two small kitties in your house, you are so susceptible to fleas! As soon as I saw a flea on one indoor cats and I knew I needed to nip the problem in the bud! Got the cats flea treated and then immediately started looking for an exterminator. I knew the problem hadn’t gotten to the point of an infestation and hadn’t actually seen one around the house but with the pesky life cycle of fleas I wanted to be proactive! When I called the first time Jason took great care of me. He was patient and answered every one of my questions thoroughly and even told me when I called that it didn’t sound like I needed to spend the money for their service, which is when I knew this was the company to go with. They weren’t trying to overcharge me and brought a very genuine and helpful sales pitch. I've been using healthy home for 2 years now. I'm on a regular pest control program for the house and yard. They do a great job in eliminating all nuisance pests. Our yard is a great hang out without the annoying bugs everywhere. I recently noticed winged termites, and after I called, they came out same day to check it out. Jill did an awesome job checking the whole house perimeter and indoor. Unfortunately we did find active termites, but luckily have no real damage since they were noticed early and it's limited to the garage area. I highly recommend checking them out if you have any pests.

Very detailed and thorough spraying! We get mosquitos super bad because we live near a creek and have standing water in the spring with all the rain. Tech was very thorough on the entire house and yard and even remembered to close the gates that he used! I have 3 big dogs so closing the gates is extremely important. I had a vent cleaning done, and I'm happy with the service! They notified me that they were coming early, and patiently waited while I finished a teleconference call to start. They were very professional and finished in maybe 1 hr from when they arrived, less if I didn't have the call. They wore their masks the entire time too, which is appreciated. The only thing I wish I would have asked them to do was clean out the dryer vent too, and it wasn't offered either. Ah well, I'm satisfied with what they came to do!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Literally the worst company I’ve ever experienced. Initially called for the brown recluse treatment, the guy showed up and (poorly) gave me the regular preventative service and charged me for the wrong service. I called and was promised that someone would come back out for free and give me the correct service, only for a technician to come out and tell me that the phone person doesn’t know what he’s talking about, and gave me the regular preventative service again, this time charging me for the brown recluse treatment on top of the regular treatment. So now I had been charged twice for the job still not being done correctly. I spoke with the owner who argued with me for over 15 minutes, refusing to give me a refund for the service and proceeded to make excuses for the technician’s poor service (his mom passed, he got fired, etc). After getting into a pretty heated argument, he finally budged and told me that he would refund my money. It’s now been 8 days, still no refund. I called and spoke with the woman who works “front office” and asked about my refund status. She told me this was the first time she had heard about this, even though this was the third time I had spoken with her. Hands down, out of every company I have ever given money too, this one takes the cake. Extremely rude, unreliable, manipulative, conniving and dishonest people I have ever dealt with. I would almost label this as a scam. Go with a reputable company and save yourself the hassle of having some inexperienced, unprofessional person come spray round up around your house. DEFINITELY do not pay extra for the brown recluse treatment since nobody who works for this company can agree on how to treat them.

This morning, we found bugs in one of our guest bedrooms after we had a guest staying with us. I submitted a request for estimates thru Thumbtack and was given Healthy Home's name. They were faster to respond than I noticed, so by the time I got the message it was 1:30 pm. I called them back and sent pictures and they felt we could have bed bugs. Panicked, I asked when the soonest was that they could assess and treat the situation. Joe, the owner, sent two guys to our house within two hours of my call. Thankfully, it turned out to not be bed bugs and just an ordinary bug, however, they did treat the whole house to prevent the problem from recurring. Joe & his team were an absolute pleasure to work with - in this scenario, I'd say my heroes. It's been a tough week for our family and dealing with a potential bed bug infestation was almost more than I could hand. Joe was responsive, courteous and affordable. The gentlemen he sent to our house were also professional, courteous, and fast. I absolutely cannot say enough good things about them and their company. I hope to never have another bug problem nor do I wish it upon my friends, but if it ever occurs again, my first call will be to Healthy Homes. If every business treated their customers this way, it would be a wonderful thing.

The team of Kyle and Connor from your company came on Tuesday and Wednesday to my rental house. They undertook and completed the work of removing old attic insulation and mouse contamination just like you described. They were courteous, efficient, and clean. Once they got inside the attic, they noticed a couple of small things that needed additional attention in order to protect the integrity of their work. I was able to provide the few extra materials and tools for them within an hour, and they took care of the details. I especially appreciate the use of non-toxic procedures because my tenants have a one-and-a-half-year old child plus a pregnancy for another one due in a couple months. I solicited three bids for the work of eradicating mice, cleaning out the old insulation, sanitizing, blowing in fresh, and providing continuous monitoring. Your company had no "unspecified charges" in the contract . I am willing to pay for high quality, explainable work, but not for "unspecified" extras. Thus, the cost for your services were significantly more understandable and appropriate. As far as I (and my tenants) can tell, the work was done with appropriate care and speed. Kyle and Connor represented your company well and, accordingly, I recommend them highly. They said that they lift sticky traps in the attic to capture residual mice. I look forward to staying in touch with you for a check-up in two months or so.

Very disappointed with the Customer Service, or lack thereof. Contacted and was told they would be out on Wednesday or Thursday. No one called to confirm with a time estimate. No one showed up. Healthy Home came out quickly to solve our pest problem. Initially it was thought mice or rats had gotten in a basement storage area. The day the technician came to set traps, he decided a squirrel had entered the home. In searching the storage area, he frightened the squirrel and vice versa. Luckily the squirrel ran out.
