Great store, cool selection but the township one on Gardiners Rd. In the Rio-Can centre has a much better selection but the staff there leaves something to be desired where as at this store they always are information packed, ready to help, and greet with big beautiful smiles. Definitely my favorite Rite on a couple of the main bus routes and lots of parking in behind that can be accessed from both Princess St and McDonnell St.

GT has always got reasonably-priced day to day items. Deals on food. When it comes to men and women's clothing their no shortage however the selection for children is pathetic. This location def is not my favorite and could use some organization. The staff has been around for awhile and are super friendly and knowledgeable.

Giant Tiger is not Harrods or Saks or Nordstrom. It is the odd mishmash of clothes that you need, core groceries that are generally healthy and a good meal, and other things for the home. More complete than the smaller footprint discount department stores, but it is like the song "You can't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, you get what you need"

I went here to get scrubs for work prices were decent. Nice bright colors. They have scrub card u have to ask for it. They sell can goods,frozen foods, vegs, fruit,snacks,milk,cheese,ice cream. Cheap place to get curtains for your home. Cashier was nice n friendly. There is free parking behind the building as well bus stop out front. Bus#4 and the 501. Right across street bus stop as well. Easy to get too I pop in here on occasion to check out their sale items. One hint bring your own bags..

Normally I would rate a Giant Tiger location a 3 star average, however people watching at this location is growing to be surprisingly exciting. The homeless flock to this location for their every day wares and goods and it makes for quite the experience entering the establishment! Almost like walking by a bunch of NPC in the The Elder Scrolls: Oblibion video game. Truly fun.

Horrible service, lots if employees but no one cares.was 1 elderly customer at till, I was next ,when cashier took several phone calls , didn't apologize to anyone or tell whoever was calling "im in the middle if checking out an 80 yr old lady", anyhow another clerk opened up , after 10 minutes, then needed to call supervisor to discuss simple return. All in was 25 min in line to return a curtain. The store was empty but for employees. Even the cashier had no customer service skills , and she was the most adult employee there. Not impressed, going next door to wal mart. This stuff is y I agree w self check out . No one knows basic customer service skills . Start w a apologie ,then do your job. If that was me I would of told the employee that was calling, I'm in the middle of check out and hu.

Have lost quite a bit of weight recently. Bought three different sizes, as I wasn't sure what size I was. Went home (I didn't realize the dressing rooms were open!) and tried everything on, and only the smallest size fit! We went back, and got everything I needed (clothes) in the sizes I needed. Social distancing was enforced, everyone was wearing masks. Each terminal was wiped down in between customers. Employees were polite, courteous, and fast! Thank you! The yoga pants I bought look GREAT!

This place gave me the chills. There was one big woman just stalking people. She kept looking at this young lady and there was this older man, carrying a sleeve of toilet paper under his arm, in the children's section and looking all over. I mentioned this to an employee, but nothing was done. I walked out of there fast.

I ran in for a few odds and ends. I needed an inexpensive table cloth. Asked a manager who was working on the floor where they might be. He didn't point in the general direction. He took me to the exact spot. They were sold out. Oh well. Finished my shopping. At the cash. The manager found a couple in a sale bin and brought them to me. I ended up buying one. Yes. GT made a *whopping* $3 sale on the table cloth but the manager went out of his way to provide customer service. Walmart should take note.

I LOVE Giant Tiger. Its Canadian, its inexpensive, it has almost everything you need. I like to go in and see what they have on special. Why? Cause their specials ALWAYS rock! This one is nice and clean and well lit and there are always people around. Don't go to the one in the south end of Belleville! EEEEEP!!!!

Young slim female with straight hair at the front door. I wish I could provide her name, but she was the only employee I saw in the store not wearing her name tag. I waited in the designated social distancing line up for 5 minutes, as per their signs, even though I was the only person in line. The “line up” was also not visible from where she was standing inside the store playing on her phone. I was rudely kicked out of the store by her and told to return to the “line up” with no one in it. “You will be allowed into the store when I say so” is exactly what she told me. Obviously, it’s COVID, that I understand. The overt rudeness and power tripping is completely unnecessary. I wanted to buy Canadian, but I spent my money next door at Walmart instead and will continue to do so in future.
