The parking lot is a nightmare, especially for the with parking permits as spots aren't regularly kept up to indicate it's an accessible parking spot so anyone will park in them. The worst thing though is I've lost count the number of times I've gone in and have found food past its expirery date.

The quality of the food here has gone down sense the store took over new management. The food isn't always the freshest. They also never have enough cashiers on at peek hours or during $1.00 days or holidays, so you are always waiting in long line ups. Most of the staff are friendly though!

TERRIBLE! I normally do my shopping here, but I’ve been increasingly more frustrated by the incompetences of management. Tonight was the last straw for me. With one cashier for 12 items or less and one for all other shoppers the lineup for both was ridiculously long. When I arrived, the line was long and someone I know was standing at the back end of the line. 30 mins after doing my shopping, my friend was still in-line. She was in the 12 items or less isle, and the other line had grown well into the frozen food section. If this was a first time offence, I would have figured something happened and overlooked the situation. This however, is the norm and increasingly so. This is terribly poor customer care and shows that FreshCo Belleville is more concerned about their bottom-line than their customers. Other offences include choosing to stock full isles worth during peak hours, causing stock to become fully blocked by boxes, product and staff stocking shelves. The already narrow isles become a nightmare to navigate through and it’s difficult to find or select the products you’re looking for. I have never written a complaint review before now and typically give the benefit of the doubt. I tried calling the store 3 times and nobody answered my calls and I was not even greeted by a machine or given opportunity to leave a message. Terrible! I left my full cart of groceries after wasting my time in this store and walked out! Your staff deserves better and your customers deserve better! You don’t deserve my hard earned money any longer. I hope this review helps you to take a good inward look at your operation and make changes. Despite all of this nonsense, many of the staff that work there are quite pleasant. I have in the past enjoyed the positive demeanour of the man who engages with everyone around him. If you’ve shopped here more than once, chances are you know exactly whom I am referring to. Give him a raise and correct these poor business practices!! Thanks.

Pretty good prices, typically clean and staff almost always nice and curtious! Extremely disappointed in Sobeys for changing around everything in their stores during covid. The last 3 times ive went, everyone is running around everywhere and back tracking trying to find what they are looking for, causing longer wait times, longer exposure times, and takes away the safety of everyone travelling from front to back of store and out. This should not have happened. So extremely disappointed and frustrating.

My go to grocery stop. Prices are reasonable. Layout is reasonable. Fairly clean. I favor it because I get headaches from too much fluorescent lighting. With its lower ceiling than most other grocery stops in town, and their music generally not too loud, it doesn't cause headaches like other places do. Also generally less busy than Walmart or No Frills, with comparable pricing and price matches make it far less stressful a place to shop for someone sound and light sensitive.

One of the most preferred(personal) grocery store in Belleville. Wide range of fresh and frozen food products are available. Many products that Indian nationals prefer are available in particular. Vegetables and fruits are always fresh as per my experience. I would like to mention certain products that I found only in this store- Curry leaves, frozen coconut(cubes), plantain, Certain cereals, Basmati rice(mostly available here whereas not in many other stores), Cassava(Tapioca- small frozen packets), frozen Indian snacks like dosa, paratha etc.

My question is why local grocery stores are excluded eg: Independent Grocery Giant Tiger, which is 1.5km away You have included Canadian Superstore which is an Independent. Id like to give an honourable mention to the young lady and the longer haired young fellow who worked the floor tn for their composure, because with the amount of customers in the store and the one male employee causing problems, I would have snapped. The store was absolutely full of people at 6:30pm and there was (what i assume) a supervisor delegating work (young girl, dark hair), which turned into a male employee (teenage, dark short spiky hair)yelling across the store and being very abrasive toward her and toward customers. Something about cart duties and how he didnt want to do it and how he was going to leave. Saw him whipping up and down the aisles angrily. Throwing boxes. Overheard another manager threaten to confiscate his phone followed by another awkward, confrontational exchange. Everyone around me was very uncomfortable. I know this kid made me uncomfortable and very anxious with his behaviour, so I wanted to speak up for the sake of the other employees and customers. I hope this young man is reprimanded in some way, at work you need to remain professional. Simple as that. Im not normally one to write reviews about a specific employee but this rubbed me the wrong way.

FresCo is usally a quick checkout. Good product and is clean. It's a toss up between another grocery store we use depending on the best buy. Sometime I'll go to both. But overall I like FreshCo.

FreshCo Belleville is our go to grocery store. As a rule the produce is fresh and lasts appropriately. Pricing is reasonable and price matching is easy enough too! Staff and cashiers are very friendly, pleasant and helpful the Store is clean and organized. Stock is not left all over the store on skids for very long or often.

Today was the 2nd time I have been to this store. They have many items that are hard to find elsewhere which is good, but the line up for the cash out is way and beyond anything I have ever seen at a grocery store. I spent almost 15mins waiting to pay. Paid by debt asked for a bag and was told they are 30c each. This should be asked before groceries are put through.

Wow just wow. Customer service of the associates? Thumbs down. A lady at the cashier, was extremely rude. She was just rushing us the whole time, and put the other item to a different customer (made it seems like it was my fault when she didn’t even ask to double check) and also had problem with paying because she was so in a rush you can’t beat her. If she was having a bad day, the least she could is to lash out on her customers so unprofessional.

Was my first visit and left with mixed feelings on this place. The layout is a bit different than other 'like' grocery stores. Vegetable section looked real nice. Discounted items marked differently. Instead of the 30% or 40% off stickers, they place pre-printed 'reduced' prices on near due dated items. Which, when calculated in comparison to the 30/40, isn't really all that big of a saving. I prefer the 30/40 off stickers and bigger savings better. Would I go back to 'this' location'? Probably not. But would be willing to try other locations to see if there is difference from this one in Belleville.
