Hi Bad experience. They sell expired bread always. Today, i said a lady that bread is expired. She said this is why it is cheap. What does it mean. If it is expired then do not sell or increase the price but selling expired is not good. Once I bought expired bread from here. What if i get food poisoning or anything else. Who would responsible for it. I am requesting manager, please say your staff to check the expiry date and if not then atleast say sorry or speak politely. I felt very bad. Thanks

I can't say that all the food from this place is good anymore. Today I landed on some Joseph's sugar-free cookies that tasted more like gasoline, so I threw it all out. I also bought an oat me! peanut butter bar which are sold at 1.25 but also didn't taste good. And the cashier wasn't friendly. You get good deals but don't ask the cashier a simple question, such as "why did this item scan twice on the bill when I only had one" cause it'll annoy them and you'll get a cold reply. I've been a cashier for 6 years and always treated customers kindly. I wanted all my clients no matter what their race or personality was, to leave with a smile. So I'll try to avoid this dollar tree.

Centrally located in downtown Trenton. At this time everything is $1.25. It has all the usual items you expect to find at a dollar store and a few items that I could not find elsewhere. The personnel is pleasant and helpfull.

I am pleased with the variety of product at the Dollartree. I wanted to organize my pantry shelf and needs storage bins on a budget. Not so many of my favourite colors but I was able to make a good use of what I found there. Though I still had to get my glass jars from Dollarama, I love the whole collection at dollar tree. She went through my whole list with me and helped me find what I needed. It has become rare to experience incredible customer service during covid. However this employee went above and beyond.

In my experience I am able to find pretty good products for their marketed price of a 1.25. They seem to have a lot of interesting good quality products and I was surprised to find some of the things I did. The Product layout seems confusing and the products might change often as I notice there is a lot of imported products. I am enjoying a potent tea from the brand "Lord Lancaster" and dark chocolate graham crackers from Turky. Also a great place for Raman noodles.

Was at the dollar tree today in Trenton and asked them to blow up a number 5 balloon that I have brought with me for they didn't have one in the store. Grease pencils are labelled as chalkboard markers, carry several colours.

My cashier had her mask under her nose- thought perhaps it just fell down. Watched her twice as I stood in line push the nose band firmly under her nose. The store is back to being a mess. I go here so much i cant even start to tell you how many things i own that are from here. Great selection of dishes for super cheap. Definitly my go to for snacks can't give 5 stars though because you stopped selling the milk chocolate and peanut glosettes (my favourite) which are super expensive everywhere else ( i'm not paying 8 dollars for 3 tiny boxes) but other than that you have another brand that does similar so you are slightly forgiven. Ps. Please bring back the milk chocolate and peanut glosettes. :(

Abysmal shopping experience. 25 minutes to cash out. Only one employee working the cash with 4 more, including the manager just standing around. Not even particularly that busy. They EVENTUALLY got another cashier on who clearly has had insufficient training. She had to call for the lackadaisical manager on no less than three occasions because she didn't know how to provide a receipt or the difference between a debit card; a bank card or an interac payment. They are all one and the same. Moreover why would one need to call for a price check when EVERYTHING in the store is $1.25? Needless to say I would have abandoned my purchases entirely, but I didn't want my dog to have to wait in the car - again. I won't be back, not to this location at a bare minimum.

I would be embarrassed if I was this store owner. It's disgusting.. The boxes and product are ALL over the place. The store is dark & dingy, crammed with way to much stuff and no place to really move around. There is also a pile of empty boxes at the front and over flowing the entrance way with items. I'm sure this is a fire hazard.. I had to move a heavy trolley with product on it.. just to get the item I wanted behind it. This seems like a huge liability if someone was to hurt themselves while moving it.. Why not just clean up the store to avoid the chaos. I said this to the cashier lady and she acted ignorant and oblivious to the chaotic state of this store.. I guess when you're use to working/living in conditions like that.. it becomes the norm.. It's an embarrassment.

Same old things there nearly every time. But the prices are cheap and the selection is nice. The staff has usually always been nice since I remember. The food there isn't a wide variety and in the makeup section their is only concealer or foundation in darker tones, which is great for some, but sadly not all. They do however have a large variety of holiday/ occasion cards and party items. along with right now an entire section for back to school items which are handy to those who cant afford hundreds of dollars at kmart/Walmart.

I entered the business and I needed few things so it was quick in and out. I would take small card or something. But there was no cart or no one to say hello . So I bought the few things I need to and go to cashier. And here you find this boss asked me take a cart next time. I said I dont see here. Then she said i sneaked in . Really ?use proper language. First things you should know about customers is customer service. I rather to go to self checkout instead of this uneducated cashier .sad.

They always have a lot of different items, you never know what you might spot and don't wait to buy something later down the road because stuff sells fast here and they might not get it in again or get it for awhile.

When you go to the Dollar Tree, you expect to purchase disposable items. But the manager is the one who should be disposed of. The staff clearly dislike him, as do most customers, I am willing to make the trip to the Belleville Dollar Tree, just to ensure a more pleasant shopping experience, and I do not want to give him any of my money! I would go to Toronto instead of here, Tony is a horrible person and has a weird obsession with everyone leaving their bags with him, he thinks everyone is stealing everything, he even blocked off the back door for a while(which is illegal) because he needs to see everyone going in and out. The selection might not be as good as the dollar store available at other locations but the products here seem to have less water in them as the bigger bottles you will find at the dollar store for more than the price of 1.25$ per item in Dollar Tree. If you have about 20 minutes to spend checking out the store you might find a store to help cut down on your current shopping bill a month.

Not impressed. Used to be a clean, well run store. Now one male cashier doesn't wear a mask, and was telling thecustomer who inquired why he wasn't wearing one, that they were useless, including the ones they sold , as he mentioned they were made overseas. The other cashier has his face shield up, no mask. I used to recommend this store. I will vote with my feet and wallet and shop somewhere else. 2/17/2021.

This dollar store actually sticks to what they advertise for, nothing over $1.25. They have somewhat decent items and have a great selection of items. Only downfall is when its busy they usually only have 1 cashier.

It's surprising how many items are on offer for $1.25 or less. I couldn't find every single thing I was looking for (notebook of graph paper wasn't there), but school/office supplies are abundant. Many small toys, garden tools and decorations, cleaning supplies, craft supplies, food items/snacks, kitchen and bathroom supplies can be found, as well as an impressive number of souvenir Canada items (for care packages or to give to visitors).

I am an avid shopper of the Trenton Dollar Tree, however, I will NO LONGER be supporting this business. Mel is a disrespectful cashier. I was in line, waiting to be served, as an elderly gentleman was in front of me. He had maybe 5 items. I heard “Really?? I have to call my supervisor to approve this now!!” with sighs of frustration and anger from the cashier, because the gentleman had forgotten his wallet. How inconsiderate as staff. I have more respect for our seniors than this. I think there would have been a better solution to this, perhaps holding his items while he ran to the car, or telling him he can stop back and pick up any time. Expressing anger due to customer actions is WRONG! Customers are to be treated with respect! Mel thought it was appropriate to express his own anger, and annoyance to me, another customer once the gentleman left. This was so unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable, and unwelcomed in the store.

During the summer of this past year, I had gone in for the first time in my life. Had always passed by it when going to winners, or to grab a bite to eat from the food court (plus I live by a dollarama). Anyway, upon entry, I was followed by staff vigorously, and I understand you have to watch out for shoplifters, however this was excessive. I had grabbed what I was going to purchase from dollarama that dau and proceeded to check out at the registers, and this African American woman who was an employee, ran up behind me on my way out and starting yelling at me accusing me of shoplifting chocolate bars, I was patient and showed her my receipt that proved I had purchased the chocolate bars she had said "I saw you steal". And even emptied my pockets for her. She didn't even apologize and just scoffed and turned out and reentered the store. Absolutely disgraceful.

Very dirty. Chips laying on the floor, crackers in another isle, juice spilt, tags all over, items laying on the floor. Theres no reason for it what so ever. It looked like it hadnt been cleaned in over a month!

This isn't a great Dollar Tree location. There are products everywhere. Nothing is tidy or stocked nicely. Tons of piled up boxes line the aisles of the store, making it impossible to look at items on the shelves. Attached to this review is a photo I took of a pile of boxes about 7+ ft tall that looked like a safety hazard because it was leaning over. Also, I always find it weird that there is never any music playing in the store. The only thing I like about this store is that it has a better selection of party supplies and gift wrapping than Dollarama. Otherwise, would not reccomend.
