I have used this company for several years now. Living on the water means spiders are plentiful and BIG. Beacon Pest Control comes each year in the spring to spray and spiders are no longer a problem. This year, due to the extremely wet spring we had, I began finding multiple cob webs again. I contacted Beacon Pest Control and they arranged to come out and spray again, within two days, free of charge. I have recommended this company to many neighbours.

I am writing this review to warn future customers of this company. The company was hired based on their online reviews back in June 2017 and the follow up interaction was totally unacceptable. Their website indicates their service is "...guaranteed and professional" but this was not our experience. They sprayed the exterior of our home for spiders in June but by July the spiders were back. I arranged for a second treatment but when they arrived the service technician wanted to charge me $169 for a follow up treatment. His interaction with me was rude and quickly escalated to him raising his voice - I immediately asked them to leave. I was so angry and upset that I decided I had to warn others. This this is my first review of any service because it was important to share my experience with others.

This is the fourth time we have used John and his team. 3 times at home and once at work (over 4 years). Every time they have been courteous and helpful. AVOID… Called to treat my mom's house for bedbugs and cockroaches, the issue persisted and they kept blaming my elderly mother and refused to honour the guarantee. My mom called me in tears so I had to deal with this issue having spent so much money to treat her home. Seems the technician wasn't belligerent when he wasn't facing an elderly lady. After doing a quick google, I saw S Walkers review and saw another review posted on Homestars, by a private user in Quebec. Seems he came to be exactly at the time S Walker posted a 1-star review. Afterword, I decided to go with another company as a guarantee is only worth as much as the integrity. Their practices show they are completely void of that.

John Butters (the boss) and Dan(employee) showed up at my apartment at 11am on September 8 to treat my place for bedbugs.All my furniture was placed properly in the middle of the rooms we're bedbugs we're being treated(bedroom frontroom and furniture. When John and Dan arrived at my apartment,they praised me on how well of a job I did organizing a making room for them to move around to also spray the baseboards. John Butters said to me, he and Dan(employee) were going to move my 70 inch liquid crystal tv so they can flip my couch upside down to spray it.when I left my apartment my tv was in the middle of the front room, when I returned at 4pm in the afternoon my tv was pushed up against the wall with my remotes and eye glasses where lying in front of my tv with other pieces of furniture ( a smaller tv, fan,desk,coffee table etc. So when I turned on my 70 inch liquid crystal tv that had BEEN MOVED by John and Dan,which John admitted to moving but not informing me that something hit my tv a broke the screen. John said nothing happened....my tv was working and my PS4 will show what time I turned my tv off when I saved my game on Sept 8. TV WAS WORKING AND IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROOM WHEN I LEFT. WHEN I RETURNED TV WAS AGAINST THE WALL BROKEN WITH MY REMOTES AND EYEGLASSES AND A WOODEN MASK THAT WAS ON A FLAT LYING IN FRONT OF MY TV. JOHN BUTTERS REFUSES TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR HIS ACTIONS IN RUINING MY TV. I AM ON DISABILITY FOR MENTAL ILLNESS (OCD, NUMERICAL PATTERNS, COUNTER). I AM CONSIDERED POOR AND CANNOT AFFORD ANOTHER TV LIKE THE ONE THEY BROKE. IF U LET THEM IN YOUR HOME (JOHN,DAN) INVEST IN A HOME CAMERA TO PROTECT YOURSELF, BECAUSE THEY WILL NOT COME FORWARD AND ADMIT TO THEIR MISTAKE. HERE'S THE MILLION DOLLAR QUESTION...HOW DOES A 70 INCH LIQUID CRYSTAL TV BREAK ITSELF WHEN MOVED BY JOHN AND DAN? DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY.

I had a horrible ant problem this summer. I called and they came right over. It took 2 applications but I haven't seen an ant since. They are very professional and courteous. I highly recommend them.

We recently had John and Dan to our home after we found a bat flying around our living room. The Beacon team identified where the bats were entering our home, safely got rid of them, and sealed up our house to make sure they don't return - we haven't seen a bat since. Professional, courteous and thoughtful. We had John come out to deal with wasp at the front entrance to our house (in a roof void) after both my wife and I got stung. A day or so later they were out and treatment was applied and the flow of wasps were drastically reduced. 10 days later still a few wasps form another opening not far form where they treated was spotted and John came back out at no additional cost to review and apply additional treatment to make sure. No wasps and I was able to seal up the gaps a week later.
