Would strongly suggest looking elsewhere for pest control. My girlfriend and I initially had a bed bug problem in our old place and had Poulins come in. We only found one bug in our suite as the infestation stemmed from a downstairs suite. After 2 heat treatments and an insecticide spray we were told after a final inspection that the problem had been resolved. Regardless we moved to a different house, where 3 months later found bed bugs/nests in a couch that had been treated and inspected. While I understand that bed bugs are extremely difficult to get rid of, I would’ve appreciated a little more honestly about the problem not being fully resolved; as we are now liable for cost of treatment at our new place. Also, after finding the bug in our new place I immediately went back to Poulins where they recommended I buy a $50.00 jug of insecticide and self apply before going with full treatment. They refused to take it back after we went with a different service even though I never used any product and all the seals were still intact. I was not informed until trying to return this that everything is final sale. On top of all this I was not pleased at any point with the customer service. It was just not good. All in all they did nothing but add stress to an already stressful situation. Please look elsewhere.

Poulins is the way to go! Forget prarie pest control! Forget orkin! They will leave you hanging for at least a week and it is a coin toss if they will get back to you at all. Poulins had the info I needed within an hour and they said they will call me with tips on how to deal with my pests. GREAT SERVICE! I will be a returning customer.

$150 for a 20 minutes consult for a mouse problem. He identified one hole which might be the problem, threw some traps around, and was gone. We still have an issue and when we called the company back, were told there is no reduced rate for a return visit, and would have to pay $150 again for probably similar poor service. No thank you. Will take that money to the next competitor and hopefully have a better outcome.

I do not recommend anyone to use this service. After paying $300.00 to spray for ants in our front and back yard, only about half of them were killed. I called the customer service to ask what could be done as the last time i used them on another property nothing moved. I also told them that maybe because it was done on a very windy day and that it rained that night maybe that was the cause. I was told they would get back to me after they talked to the manager. They then offered to come and spray again at a cost of $125,00 plus charges. This is totally unsatisfactory as maybe they should have done this on a calmer day so that the application would have took. I am extremely disappointed that they don't seem to care about having good customer relations.

I phoned this company today asking for help with a mouse problem for a house we are getting possession of this week. The woman on the phone told me that for $142 that they would come to the house, all traps and bait cost extra. They don't fill holes where mice may come in. They don't actively search for activity. When asked what happens if the traps don't get them all, I was asked how I know we actually had mice. Really? For $142, I can set my own baits and traps. I need the mice gone.

They are kind of expensive and I personally rely on homemade remedies for Pest Control that cost hundreds and hundreds of dollars less then chemical spraying even things like cockroaches are much better dealt with homemade remedies than chemical sprays that rarely work all you have to do is go on YouTube or Google and you can find homemade remedies that will alleviate almost any bug problem 2 tablespoons sugar with 2 tablespoons baking soda mixed in a bowl a little of water next to it repeat for 30 days bye-bye bugs of any type don't get suckered into modern world chemicals old school remedies always work best

One of Poulin's inspectors came by to give me a rodent assessment. He was very friendly and professional. He did a thorough inspection, located the points of entry, and gave me recommendations on how to proceed. It cost me $140 and in my opinion was well worth it.

Bed bugs. After Poultin"s did two chemical treatments, and one very costly heat treatment later, we still had bed bugs. They didn't look for where the bed bugs were hidding. As we found out from a second company, the bed bugs were under the edge of the carpet and in the wood of the head board. They also migrate to the bedroom below. The heat treatment did not penetrate the carpet or furniture, and the chemical treatment must not have been well applied. After that we looked for a 5 star pest control company (Green Pest) and not only did he effectively treat the issue, he was also very knowledgeable and informative, making sure to show us exactly where the problem was, where it started, the time line and progression, and what to look for in the future.

I live in a Saskatoon Housing Authority Apartment building. Poulin's has been at our building almost daily for the past year and a half treating different apartments for bed bugs. It is obvious that Poulin's is not using the right chemical sprays or steamers. It is clear that Poulin's is only this for the money and the Saskatoon Housing Authority is stupid enough to go along with it. I am so angry!!!!

I would not recommend this pest control company. A few weeks ago I came in and brought little black rice sized pieces and asked the receptionist if I had to worry about a mouse. She looked at them through her magnifying computer thingy and she said something along the lines of... nothing to worry about its just dirt. Well long story short guess what? We just saw the mouse. If you are going to have staff aces samples that are brought in please train your staff. I've never had mice before so I googled and that's what made me think it was a mouse and in the end I was right and shouldn't have wasted my time going in to ask for advise.

I had a pest control issue so I called Poulins. The man who answered, Jon, was so helpful and got me in same day (within an hour of me calling!). The technician, Richard, who came to my house was absolutely awesome - kind, knowledgable and personable- and answered all my questions patiently (even the silliest ones!) and went above and beyond. The service was flawless. They definitely made a stressful situation easy and painless! Would recommend to anyone!

Updated January 2017 It is what it is! No client deserves to be taken advantage of, no matter how long an employee has been employed for! I ended my employment immediately within 2 months with this company for a multitude of reasons. During a bedbug treatment Steve explained how to do the treatment so the Guarantee would become VOID for the client which means the bedbugs would not be gone and the client would have to then pay for a second, third, in some cases he said 8 treatments. Confirmed by Murray (manager) and other employees that this is how you make your daily quota and ensure that you have work in 2 weeks. Don't even get me started on the corporate commercial accounts. The moment I quit was when Steve said its called' pest 'control' not pest eradication or removal!" Murray and Steve have been overseeing and training Poulins employees for 20+ years.

Contacted then in person regarding pigeons on our roof....then moving down into alcove for the night. We may use their services ( netting) if our swivelly head owl and spikes do not work. SO far no pigeons for 2 days- scare tactics and vigilance working
