GreenPEST provides high-quality, reasonably priced and environmentally friendly extermination solutions. I have a lot of allergies and environmental sensitivities, but there was no noticeable odour to the GreenPEST product, and just a few days after the first treatment, I wasn’t even sneezing! Rest assured that the natural chemicals they use are very mild and gentle but still really effective. Our exterminator, Zary, was incredibly knowledgeable, kind and talented at his job, which made the entire process quick and painless for my husband and I. Zary also responded to our follow-up questions quickly and provided detailed and informative responses. Thank you, GreenPEST, for your top-notch services! UPDATE: Since the second pesticide treatment, my husband and I have been experiencing some respiratory and contact allergies to the residue. I think it was either more concentrated or more heavily sprayed the second time. However, we both have pre-existing asthma and allergies that could explain our adverse reactions. GreenPEST has continued to be very responsive to our follow-up questions, and there are no further signs of pests. However, if you are sensitive to chemicals, I would advise against making skin contact with the areas that have been sprayed, even after the product has fully dried and set.

Their entomologist was very informative about the bugs, the treatment and how everything works. They were available weekdays and weekends. We had several stubborn pigeons living in several parts of our roof. Kal cleaned, sanitized and took out the nests and put up metal meshes to keep the pigeons out. After Kal checked the attic, he explained to me that we have a bat problem. He checked our roof and explained to me how bat get in our attic, and how to deal with it. GreenPest service was fantastic. I found the staff (a real entomologist and a Technician) that I deal with; knowable, timely, courteous and reassuring. They helped dealt with a bug problem that a different pest control company did not solve. Even when one of the staff was sick they did not miss a beat. They stand behind their word. I’m not sure that you should be using a name like “GreenPEST” if your first solution to get rid of mice is to use poison and kill traps. The word “green” conveys a certain environmental friendliness that isn’t evident in your decision to poison animals.

I talked to Zary extensively on the phone and he is extremely knowledgable, being an entomologist. He explained exactly what I needed to do after a tenant in a 4-plex found a single bedbug. Kal was dispatched to do an inspection and treatment, with a follow up done in 2 weeks. I fully trust that the lone bug will have been the only one in the building after the thorough treatments that were applied, but should I experience *any* other pest problem, this is the company I will call first. I called today, I spoke to a man, who offered to come that vary day within the next two hours. I seen a rodent behind my fridge and would not be able to sleep knowing I had a rodent roaming around! Did Inspection of my rental Property for control of bedbugs,mice and cockroaches House was vacant in main floor and temporary tenant with minimum things (no furniture ) living in the basement Advised to have 3 treatment for all and one extra treatment for free to clear all infestation Agreed and started the treatment ,usually most pest management do in a gap of 15-30 days but this people wanted to do every week which agreed There was a small problem for only one time basement tenant did not leave but our specialist treats with person staying there in the house for the main floor which is not to the standard He wanted the furnace and dishwasher to leave outside the house which I never heard diconnecting and taking away for pest management ,but finally not working dishwasher was also taken out to clear the space All the other treatment went well ,finally ,had a extra treatment with all cleaned which was again paid a nominal charge to satisfy all for my future tenant and my rental property Now within a month I have cockroaches and bedbugs in my house with the complaints from my tenant which is agony to me and my tenant The Pest management says I did not follow up his recommendation ,ethics ,not answering his phone call Have communication leaving free house ,carpet removed ,baseboard removed doing all the 4 treatment talking to him in person and on phone He was only calling to get his e transfer which most small business do which was also paid in reasonable time Called Zary the owner agreed to do inspection and planned to do 2 tretments ,as it is the tenents brought the bugs again ,agreed since most tenants move from different places try to conceal ,take advantage of the situation So to make matters simple treatment is going on Will keep posted and follow with the team

Beautiful tree, but the bugs love it and our winters don't get cold enough anymore to kill them off. The second time, he was at our house in less than an hour after my initial request. We used GreenPEST upon discovering one infestation in our home, and then throughout this extermination process another infestation was discovered by the Exterminator (Kal). We needed immediate action upon discovering the infestation and Kal arrived the very same day and worked late to complete the first treatment (other companies were a 3 day waiting period). Kal provided incredible service and support throughout the treatment process which occurred over the span of a month. He was very responsive to my several texts and calls, and he provided great help in answering my numerous questions. He provided vast insight and knowledge on how to handle the situation and he explained everything in great detail. He was thorough in sharing as much knowledge as possible to help us better understand the infestations. He was patient, kind, and professional when I became upset over the state of our home. We brought GreenPEST in to deal with what we thought were carpenter ants when we became dissatisfied with another pest control company. GreenPEST's service is WAY more extensive for about the same money. GreenPEST has an entymologist on staff and it makes a huge difference. They identified our ants in person (the other guys used an emailed photo). It turned out we had argentine ants, not carpenters, so the other company misidentified the ants leading to unnecessary expenses and stress about damage to my house. GreenPEST did a much more extensive assessment of our property and identified (1) where the ants were getting into our house so we could fix the holes and (2) where all the nests were on our property. They treated our house and yard and refilled the traps in the house for free a month later. I feel much more educated about pest control after using GreenPEST. I highly recommend these guys.

We had Green Pest out for one treatment and the stove broke. They denied that it could have been them even though they pulled it out, took off the back and sprayed inside. It worked before the treatment and not after. The worst was that they were unwilling to do anything about it. Needless to say, we canceled our future treatments and went with another company who didn't break anything. Sorry Zary & Kal, but your customer service leaves much to be desired. In Response to your comment: The offer to pay for a technician to look at the stove was after we withdrew our services and posted this review. Appropriate customer service would have been to do that when we requested it when we first discovered that it didn't work. You did not take any, let alone full, responsibility and in fact denied that it could possibly be your fault, refused to pay for a technician. This denial happened over multiple conversations over multiple days. Again, it wasn't until we cancelled services and made this post that you contacted us again. This is unacceptable and reinforces the fact that we should be dealing with another agency.

I would give these folks more then five stars if I could! Absolute professionals. I hired them for a friend's place that was overrun by bedbugs due to a landlord that refused to deal with the pest problem in the apartment building. We live in a house that is less than three years old, so when we found a bedbug two weeks before Christmas we were quite understandably upset. We called around and compared quotes and information/ instructions from several pest control companies. GreenPEST not only had the best price (and almost immediate response time options) but was also the most informative as well- just as other reviews have said they employ an entomologist. We were taught all about the bed bugs first- lifecycle, preferred habitat and favourite hiding places, treating bites, how they can even be spread through library books- which helped us calm down and realize we had a bit of time to analyze the situation. Next we were told about the various methods of treatment and exactly what could be done to maximize the effectiveness of each, as well as which ones were most environmentally friendly. As in: least impact on non- pest targets, least chance of leaching, travelling long term and also which chemicals were the most safe around persons, especially children (of which we have several) long term. We made a plan and booked a set of sprays and were sent an information and instruction sheet with exactly what to do to save as many of our things as possible and ensure that no bugs survive. It is a lot of work but absolutely worth it. In the end we have no complaints at all- the work was done on time and for a great cost during the holiday season. The company was very willing to answer questions and teach us everything we needed to know. They had someone on call for any questions and even when I sent a message late in the evening I received a response less than a half hour later. I would recommend GreenPEST to anyone looking for a way to control their pests.

I reviewed various companies to treat a bedbug issue that had just surfaced in my home. The other companies had a checklist for the home owner to perform before they came. After speaking with Kal he advised not to move anything, as he wanted to trace the issue throughout the home. Being a little sceptical I left most things as is. When he came he reviewed the locations of the bugs and asked to see in the attic. Upon entry to the attic he said “here is the problem” you don’t have bedbugs, you have bat bugs. He eventually found the entry point of the bats in the attic and sealed it. If I had used another company they would have sprayed for bedbugs and I would never have eradicated the source of the bugs. I like the way this company works. The guy don't work superficially when it come to treat something like bedbugs, which is very hard to erase once they get in your house. Instead of just spreading products or heat in the house he chases the bugs, he takes time to find them and knows exactly where they hide, and then treat them. If necessary he will provide one free session and ready to come check after the treatment done, to make sure his job is successful. He will tell exactly what to do. He always says: "I don't give up ". I could have pressed all the five stars instead of 4, but I am still observing till the end of August to see if the bugs are definitely gone.

Moved into a house that had a cockroach issue. The first exterminators cancelled on me for the second treatment so I needed to find some one else. Zarry was instantly better, very knowledgeable, transparent and prompt. He gave me tips on how to prevent any future issues and was always following up while we were monitoring the glue traps to see if there was any activity. Really good service and people. Found a couple bugs we thought were bed bugs and GreenPest was able to set up a time to do an inspection (and spray at the same time once bugs were found) within 36 hours of the call. Kal helped a lot, told us what he was looking for, common places bedbugs hide, how long they take to grow etc. He found the main source of the infestation in the bedroom in less than 5 minutes once he was in there. Sprayed the whole floor of the house for bugs in all the places they might go even where there were currently no signs of them just in case. advised us on what to do before and after the next visit to help deal with the bugs, drying cloths to kill bugs/eggs if they are present, which pice(s) of furniture should be fixed up to seal cracks where bedbugs can hide, and which ones were lost causes etc. After the 2nd visit he even came by again when we thought we saw a bedbug, even though we didn’t catch it and weren’t sure it was one he still came bake to take a look and spray that room for free. They are really good about making sure to keep coming back as long as it takes. Also very good response time for setting up the inspections, was routinely able to get something set up within two days max, even same day one time. Great service. About 2 months or so since the first sighting, and now after a few visits, so far so good.

I had carpenter ants that got into my house and created a nest. I contacted Green Pest and they provided me with clear directions on the phone and then responded quickly. Kal was able to deal with the ants and was very helpful is assessing the damage and finding the entry point. We live in a 1912 home so mice are always a fall event. He inspected all openings in the foundation and filled a space with steel wool, refilled the empty base stations with poison, added a few snap traps and if we still find mice in 2 weeks, he will return. Original Post: I'm mostly happy with the service however it was not as outstanding as the reviews would suggest. I was not given any preparatory advice despite asking what the process would be when I booked (I didn't know I would have to leave for 6 hours, very inconvenient as a student when no libraries allow you in) and the fella who came was misidentifying bits of dirt as exoskeletons, (he did admit they were dirt after I pointed it out though). He was prompt and courteous and helpful and that was nice. I guess the reviews just got my expectations up. We will see if the bugs stay away.
