Called Phil out and he showed up in time. Quickly determined our problem (baby squirrel) in gable of attic. Installed preventative screens over roof vents as plastic had been gnawed on 5 out of 7. Phil also installed a 1 way exit to enable the mom to call her baby out. Unfortunately, after 3 days we could still hear the noise and saw the mother laying nearby. We called Phil back in and he immediately came the next morning to physically remove the soffit to enable to baby to exit. The baby squirrel came out and ran off. Phil was understanding and knowledgeable. He told us on his return visit, he was here to solve the problem and no further fees were due. Don’t hesitate to call SMWR for your wildlife/pest needs. From the moment I started communicating with Phil I knew he was going to make a not so pleasant situation much easier to deal with. We’d had a family of raccoons living in our attic rent free for months. When I heard them screeching and fighting one night I knew it was time to bite the bullet and start calling services. We noticed noises coming from our attic, above the bathroom and made a call to Simcoe Muskoka Wildlife Removal. Phil took the time out of his schedule to come that day. He inspected the location, found a squirrel's nest and set up a one-way door by the nest. Afterwards, he performed a full inspection of the exterior and sealed off other locations to ensure the squirrels did not have a way of getting back in. He followed up multiple times over the week and even stopped by to make sure there weren't any new entrances made. He was extremely professional, on-time, detailed and very personable. Phil arrived at our home to deal with a raccoon that managed to get into our house through our garage. Phil used a trap door in our soffit, with a little bait and several days later the raccoon left just like Phil said it would. He was informative, punctual and very professional. I would recommend Phil and Simcoe Muskoka Wildlife Removal to anyone in need of a service like this. For us, it was a raccoon in our attic. After several failed DIY attempts because of the ridiculous quotes we were getting from other outfits to solve the problem, the raccoon ultimately got back in and had its babies in our bedroom wall. We knew it was time for a professional but were still looking for the right one. A contractor who had previously done work for us recommended Phil and from that first panic phone call through the multiple visits it took to resolve the situation, I have to say it was one of the best service experiences I’ve had in a long time. Phil was knowledgeable, courteous and efficient, and priced way below any of the other quotes. I called Simcoe Muskoka Wildlife Removal and spoke to Phil. He was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable with reference to our unwanted raccoon visitors. One of the great things about Phil and his company was that he was at my home in less than 24 hours from when I called him. Also, as I was not able to be at the house when Phil was there doing his inspection and removal, he sent me photos of the baby raccoons (too cute) and then he was able to explain to me in detail on the phone every step he took in removing the raccoons humanely and allowing for mama racoon to find them successfully and in no harms way.
