We found two empty beer cans and a back pack with just a single condom in it after treatment. We called to advise the owner and he said “well it gets pretty hot in there, I bet a couple of beers would taste pretty good!” We pushed our concern towards driving a company vehicle after drinking and he still wasn’t concerned. We pushed and so he addressed it the next day, stating he asked the employee and the employee said it wasn’t his. That was the end. He did not care at all. That employee was the only one doing treatment that day and smelt like booze (from the night before I presume) when we let him in to the house.
After the drama, all our tenants moved out. Fast forward 5 months, and from the past where only 2 bed bugs were found, there was now dozens (mattresses, couch) we called for the warranty, we got through once. Was advised to call back, then our calls to the two numbers (Calgary and CEO in Edmonton) continued to go unanswered, voice mails not returned for two days. Finally, after calling from a number that was not ours, they advised they could do it in 8 days. Who is going to stay in a bed big filled place for 8 days? After I voiced my concern that they were intentionally screening our calls, he really pulled on the excuses then. Saying a big booking came up and his employees are working the weekend already which they normally don’t do and there’s no other equipment, otherwise they’d love to honour their warranty. When I voiced my opinion on them avoiding our calls and not concerned much that they couldn’t help, he advised that it must have been the people not prepping the house properly. Those people were evicted and gone so it could not have been their stuff “re-infecting” the place.
When we got someone else in to do the job their prep was way less extensive than We Clean was which tells me they create it so over complicated that they can hide behind the client not following protocol as their excuse for re-infestation.
It was a very well rehearsed, fake application. $1500 a pop.
Do not use.
