Definitely a bit pricey (at least compared to what I'm used to), but it's pretty much on the main street and is a good place to go get your snacks and essentials for your trip

Had to drop in for some groceries while on our trip, inside the store...Nice and clean, prices are very fair and the staff are super helpful and friendly!! Only reason for 4 stars is their parking lot is extremely crammed..my wife had to crawl through the hatchback of our SUV to get in the drivers seat to back up out of the spot. Nobody was in the spots beside us when we went in but it didnt take long to fill up, I should also mention those people parked beside us in their respective lanes inside the lines provided..All in all just park on the street! Highly recommended if you know where to park, and now you do!!

In a town with two main grocery stores, they are both good choices. IGA has all the staples and then some. It is certainly more convenient to the hotel zone. Great soups. Full deli and lots of fresh cut fruit. Excellent for all your needs and you get Airmiles.

One of two large supermarkets in Banff. Worth checking both when your looking for something specific. There are a number of vegan specific and gf options but would certainly like this to be expanded to more different types of products with a lower cost.

My wife and I were in need of a covid test so we could fly home to Missouri. The IGA pharmacy is the only one in Banff that does the tests that we needed. We arrived at the store 15 minutes before the pharmacy closed and Victor made time to make sure that our test was taken and completed. He even stayed 20 minutes late to ensure that we could get our results in hand. Words are not adequate to express the appreciation that we have.

decent grocery store that has some good selections for foreign foods if your from abroad. I personally don't find it over priced and stocked up every time I go for food

Very well stocked and maintained grocery store. Friendly and obliging staff who know how to work their tills fast and also help you find items. Produce, meats, and bakery goods always are fresh. I like that there is a 15% off for locals on the 1rst Tuesday of the month. I also know that they support local community by giving away what they would usually throw out to a local organism.

Like the convenience of the place. Just about the right variety (not the same as other busier IGA locations I've visited) Compared to other stores in town there's items that are overpriced. If you're on a budget, I would recommend splitting your groceries between this store and the other large stores in town.

Normally a great store. Too bad they put an a-hole outside on Christmas Eve to turn people away when showing up too close to closing time(understandable). Very rude, confrontational, argumentative, and happy to point fingers at everyone outside. No Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays, definitely did not leave a good impression on the rest of their outstanding and friendly staff. My fault for showing up too late, his fault for the sour taste in my mouth.

One of the two grocery stores in Banff. Prices reflect the same prices as the groceries in the city. Selections are good and sale prices are also excellent. Usually stop here if we forget to bring something for camping.

I just love this store. It's always clean and stocked. No trip to Banff is complete without a visit to IGA for road snacks and essentials. It's a landmark for me!

Walked through here to take a look for some items, picked up two apples and a box of Panache chocolate crackers. We went to one checkout and the lady told us she didn't have enough 20's (we gave her a 100) which was unexpected - how can a supermarket not have 4 20's in the cash registry? We went to another checkout line afterward and didn't have any issues there. Pretty small supermarket with okay prices.

A good grocery store in a central location in Banff. Has pretty much everything you need from a grocery store. From fruits and veggies to meats and dairy. There is a pharmacy in the back and a Starbucks near the front.

Very hospitable staff and perfectionist attention to detail and aesthetic deployment and configuration of inventories. Just on the right as you drive into Banff from Canmore. Also: extremely expensive despite being a Safeway subsidiary.
