We live in suburban Halifax and two weeks ago, we realized carpenter ants had invaded a bedroom ceiling of our exposed wood and beam house. As proud owners of two honeybee hives that were located near our house our first approach was to deploy an all-natural solution of borax and sugar, to no avail. We then carefully sprayed the outside perimeter and into the walls where they had established pathways to the bedroom with Home Defense slowly and carefully on a day without wind to mitigate drift that would (without question) harm our honeybees. That too failed; it was time for professional assistance. I contacted a well-known, top-of-mind national company and after 5 days of promises they were coming we were tired from not sleeping, mentally drained, and felt totally defeated. I called Truly Nolen on Tuesday morning and from the moment I spoke with David, I felt hopeful that we could regain control our home. Mark arrived that afternoon, completed the assessment and within an hour of his departure we had confirmation that our service would be completed on Thursday at noon. Chris arrived on time, was well briefed on our situation and after he completed the job we discussed what to watch for and over the next 30 days. We are so thankful for their outstanding customer service that I offered to create and post this review. They are excellent listeners, professional in approach, instilled confidence, very efficient and time conscious. They were as concerned about the welfare of our honeybees as we are which I found very comforting for we care deeply about nature and work hard to keep our property healthy and pesticide free. If we ever have another invasion of any kind, I will immediately bring in Truly Nolen’s professionals for they have tools, skills, and expertise to deal quickly and effectively with the issue. I am so thankful to David, Mark, and Chris for when you deal with a company with consistency in words and deeds it’s not a coincidence, its part of their DNA, and theirs is one that when you need help, you want at your door to deal with the crisis.

The employees are great. Excellent service. The management stinks. They tell you and claim that they will come to you as often as needed but when you do they complain to you that I called too many times and if I want them to come I should pay more money. I asked for a refund the owner gladly gave it back to me . There are other reputable companies that will come out once a week for 90 days as they guarantee you won’t have any more mice. I asked them how is that possible they told me that they close up all the holes so mice will not get in. I was using there service from September until May 2021. I think I would’ve been with them for years milking me every 60 days for more money.

I am Part of the 4 seasons program and has made a hugely positive difference with the spiders in the basement in our old home that we just moved into. Any issues that arise with rodents or wasps (especially this past summer) a call or email and had someone come by right away and look after it. Definitely worth checking this company out if you have bug or rodent problems.

We have been having issues with Asian Beatles & wasps at our home these past few years. Our home is Cedar and brown wood siding which is an attraction for them. Monday I called Truly Nolan Truro, NS and Tuesday Sam was here. We signed up for the 4 season package. By Wednesday am Sam was back and blanked our place with Spray. As I sit here today Thursday afternoon I’m so pleased to be sitting on our patio and not being bothered by bugs. It truly works I’m so happy to be able to enjoy to outside without the pests. We recently hired Truly Nolen (in Valley, NS) for their "Four Seasons" service. On the day I called for a quote I was routed to Sam, the local Manager, who came out to our home the same day. He talked to us about the services offered and gave us a detailed explanation of what was included in the Four Seasons service. We were happy to sign up! Until now, we had been waiting for the first of the four applications (we knew in advance it would not happen until some time this month - May), but the other day we started to notice ants coming into the house as well as an influx of spiders. I contacted Sam, simply to ask when the first application would be happening and he responded right away. He got representative James to come out to our house the very next day (today). James called when he was 15 minutes away to give us a heads up. In addition to the typical four seasons service application on the exterior of our home, James also sprayed the crawlspace under or stairs (which we think is the source of the spiders). He was friendly, professional, and efficient. So far we are very very happy with the service provided by Truly Nolen and specifically Sam and James.

Very quick and professional service in the Truro, N.S. area! The technician removed a starling nest from our soffit, cleaned out the bird feces and put a screen over the hole, so the starlings can’t return. If the birds were still there he provided me several options to humanely remove them. I would highly recommend this business for any wildlife removal needs.

Unfortunately, we had a bad experience with this company. We called them with a squirrel problem, paid for an assessment, but never received services. They talked us into signing up for their four seasons program, which did not address our request. After 7 months of waiting and paying them almost $1000, we had to call another company to help us out. In addition, a wasp nest was not treated properly and the wasps were forced into the house making the situation worse.

No house flies on or in our home, no Asian beetles like everyone seems to have, no spider droppings on our siding, no hornets nest under our pool deck, no mice in the fall and most off all NO carpenter ants in our garage (we were infested!!!) Now I decided to get Skedaddle's out to seal up underneath of my Mini home. Morgan and the other guy came out and did under my Mini home. Both guys where very kind, professional and easy to talk too, thanks guys for explaining everything that you guys will be doing under my place.They may be alot of money but they truly know what they are doing and very very friendly (Karl Williams). I want to start off by saying that the guys who came in to do the initial assessment were fantastic! They pointed out the entrances that the mice would use to get in and out of my home. I was charged $69+tax for the assessment. No problem. I called the next day because I didn’t hear anything else from them about coming in and fixing the holes which the mice are using to enter the house. The lady on the phone thought she sent me the quote already. She didn’t but no problem. Then she tells me that since my house is a semi there is no guarantee that them fixing the holes will get rid of the mice. …ok, I’m little discouraged but still in it. Then I ask her for the price and she tells me it’s $1500 to fill the few holes and gaps. I am not interested in paying that much for the service and I asked for my future appointment to be cancelled. The lady on the other end scoffs a bit and hangs up on me. So rude. So $1500 to fill a few holes with no guarantees. …right…

Karl, the technician, was incredible. We have an issue with a bad smell in our home due to a problem with rats. He did a very thorough search around the perimeter and inside. We even removed stairs and took a ply wood wall down under the stairs to investigate. Thankfully, we didn't find anything, but he did say that he will come back to spray to get rid of the smell. I honestly couldn't be more impressed with this companies service and will not hesitate to use them, should I need to, in the future.

For three years now Truly Nolen has done what other companies before them could not. We treat for black ants, carpenter ants and fire ants. They have virtually disappeared from our property. Similarly we had rats due to a neighbour's free composting habits and now the rats are fully gone as well. The employees who did the work were excellent. They were polite and well-spoken.
