I’m extremely happy and satisfied with my experience with the professionalism of Pesticon. Given the heat of the summer time, I was facing an issue where increasing number of wasps were entering our garage through a small hole. I was worried about this issue and contacted Pesticon regarding this and got in touch with Mr. Waheed. He kindly understood the issue and arrived the next day even though it was a public holiday to help eradicate this issue for me promptly. I called in Pesticon for carpenter ant and mice problem. The carpenter ant swarmers were flying out from the registers on the floor. However no matter what I said, the person did not even try to help me identify where the nest is or where the ants are coming from. I told him there's no ants coming from the baseboard, yet he carried on with his standard practice, ignoring whatever I said. The same day after he's gone, the ants were coming out again in good shape. I called them and they told me to wait a few more days. Nothing changed. I had to call in someone else who applied much stronger insecticide into the register and pergola which is likely where the ants are coming from. Same thing with mice. He told me there's dropping under the oven, but those are not droppings at all. The mice wouldn't even eat what he threw in there. I had to use trap myself. So disappointed at its service. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Every time they have been courteous and professional and timely with their service. They have honoured their 6 month warranty, even when it was my tenant's fault and he didn't clean his unit properly and was the cause of the bed bugs. Jay put the poison in the holes of the wood where they were nesting and started seeing them falling out shortly after. Haven't seen any hovering on the property since. I had a minor wasp issue, they made two premature nests below the roof of my two story house. They were also inside the brick wall, coming in and out of the weeping hole, and I was concerned that they were getting into the attic. I searched around and found that Pesticon had good reviews, and that they had won some awards from Homestars. I called and made an appointment, the rep who took the call was pleasant to speak with, and she booked the appointment for a Friday. Earlier during the day Blair called and confirmed the time, this was on top of the email they had already sent, to confirm the appointment. Andre came to my house half an hour early, he was professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and just a friendly guy. He saw the issue and took care of it. He treated the weeping holes and promptly removed the wasps and their nests, no mess left for me. He had dropped something on the grass, then looked for it, informed me he had dropped it, and it really does show care in the work and for the customer. He probably didn’t want me to run over it with the lawn mower. Prices are reasonable, and with professionalism, it’s definitely a bonus. I had a good experience with Pesticon, and will definitely recommend to neighbours.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. This was the second time (first in April 2011) using this company. We complained of something smelly coming from the attic. The company very quickly sent a couple of staff on a Sunday, who were very clean and careful when coming in/out of our home. They found a dead raccoon and mouse droppings in the attic. They cleaned and removed everything, and treated against future mice. They also treated against the smell and very quickly made us comfortable that everything will be good going forward. The best part was the the extra step of walking the property and examining the roof for any other issues. We already had good roof vents put in; so they said everything else appears to be ok. Its been a week since the visit, and I feel comfortable that the overall visit was effective. 2018 UPDATE: We had yet another smell coming from the attic. PESTICON sent Andre, who arrived exactly on time and was also considerate about making sure he was careful around the home. He quickly looked after the odor in the attic, repeatedly searched the attic for additional animals or openings and walked through the exteriour of the home to review and deal with entryways. Terrific service, plus the company gave us a loyalty discount for being a repeat customer. I hope I never need them again, but its great to always get dependable service three times in a row from any company. Happy to have found this company originally on HomeStars.

My experience with Pesticon has been amazing. I had a mice problem in my rental house and obviously was concerned my tenants will leave the house if i don't fix the issue in time. I had already signed up contract with another company few months ago, but the problem was not going away. I looked up homestars and found Pesticon - these guys turned out awesome. I invited these guys for an inspection of the roof to determine what was making noise up there. The technician didn’t see any animal, but he found raccoon poop which was an indication that a raccoon was living up there. Probably sneaking in at night and going off to someplace else during the day. There were also obvious openings in the roof, and any one of them could be the entrance. Very impressed with the service that was provided. Left the walk out basement door open while moving our new furniture in and a foot long rat decided to move in. It was late and I must have called 20 companies in an attempt to get someone in right away. Ahmed the owner called me back 15 minutes after speaking to a receptionist. He personally made his way to our home as his guys were either finished for the day or at their last job which was not near by. Ahmed put out some traps as their was no way for the rat to escape if it had ate the poison which could have created a very smelly situation. 30 minutes after he left the rat had been caught in one of the traps and was making a lot of noise. Not expecting that Ahmed would come back that night as it was almost 10 I sent him a text message and not even 20 minutes later he was knocking at my door. Absolutely wonderful service. I would use them again!!!

There were, however, signs that the raccoons were hunting in my yard, possibly for grubs and other insects. We had a raccoon stuck between a rock and our deck ( now I know where they get the saying " between a rock and a hard place" At first I thought he was dead, but then I saw his back leg was moving a bit. We tried to get him out but he couldn't budge. We called Pesticon, and Blair said he wasn't far away, and he just wanted to help the little guy. Blair tried to push the raccoon, cuz he knew that pulling him could be dangerous, but when that didn't work, he pulled him-- knowing there was a risk of being bitten. We heard a strange noise in the attic. We could tell it wasn't a mammal and suspected it was insects but could not identify what it was by the sound. I had to call at least 7 companies who said they didn't handle things like that until I found Pesticon. Long story short Blair and another associate came out on their time on a Sunday morning. He was able to identify very quickly that it was an active wasp nest in the corner of the attic that was creating that noise. It took a while for him to treat it and get it out. He was dripping in perspiration from being in the hot attic and covered in fiberglass by the time he was finished. I really appreciate his effort and insistence that he would resolve the problem. Called Pesticon immediately following discovery of wasps flying into the porch ceiling through gaps in mortar and ceiling panel. Told Khayyam Haider would be coming 2 days later. He called ahead and then arrived on time. I showed him the issue, he immediately got down to business. About an hour after Khayyam left, dead wasps were lying on porch. Khayyam answered all my questions following treatment and gave me instructions on what to do if I see wasps flying in again, and if no sighting, to caulk the gaps after 6 months. Not happy - we were mislead and they’re extremely in humane in the way they handle mice/ rat issues- poison trap boxes take 4-5 days to kill rats etc they die slowly and NOT in the boxes so animals and children and come across the dying rodents and other animals can die from eating the infected rodents. We were told very different information upon paying - had the boxes removed and will stick to natural humane ways of relocating the rodents.

The tech responded quickly and was at our home the next day for a free evaluation... he showed us evidence of mice and set up bait stations and traps immediately. He even came back the next day (no charge) to check all the stations and add additional traps to take care of the problem quicker. He's checked in since by phone to offer to come by to collect any of the traps for us so we wouldn't have to deal with them. Thanks!!!
