They are scheduled quarterly, however should you have any reemergence of pest they will come back out at no charge to apply needed treatments. They are always on time and friendly when I have had appointments.

I didn’t want to give a bad review unless it is too much to take. After all, I still have the service going on.But after I wrote so many emails to the office, after over a month of ineffective service, a service that was supposed to exclude the rodents in my house, but the same noise of animals came back again and again to wake me and my husband up at midnight, I find the company still doesn’t take the issue seriously. I as a local guide of Google, have to write something to let other customers to be aware of my experience with this company. From what I judge by the experience I have, how can they get 4.9 rating? How accurate is the rating? It’s inaccurate at all. They sent inexperienced and frustrated young men and every time they checked the traps and said nothing is caught and give it more time. They also say some homes take up six months. They are ineffective so far. I can’t imagine to go through my misery everyday for the next six months being scared and sleepless every night. In my third letter, I wrote if they could give me a refund so I could find another company that is more effective. The letters got no reply. So I continued to give more patience and waited and waited, but this company doesn’t do anything to change the situation. When people run into such bad experiences as customers, I don’t know what to do as their men know my address and I am in the middle of the service. Writing a bad review can put me in an awkward position. But I have given enough time and patience, they have left me without choices. As we rely more on google, Yelp, Nextdoor and Facebook for reviews, I as a local guide, have to write so people are aware of what is going on with thee newest info. Now, if you ask me what I want, my real answer is they have been so ineffective that I have lost my confidence and I’d like my money back and switch to another service.

Modern Pest serviced my home by providing pest prevention treatments prior to us purchasing it. Seeing that pests were not a problem we have continued to use their services and have been pleased with the results. They perform quarterly treatments/termite inspections - usually only spraying outside. They use the minimum amount of chemicals needed to do the job. I am an avid gardener and I encourage beneficial bugs in my gardens. The treatments used do not kill my precious good guys. Billy usually performs our treatments. He is reliable and professional. They respond quickly should an issue pop up between treatments and do an excellent job showing you potential issues (tree limbs touching house) that should be managed.

The number of mosquitos was reduced significantly and the number of bites on my family! She sent me the ability to send her a picture of the swarm which was thousands of honey bees nesting at my front door. I've been using their service for a few years now and they have always been great! I bought my house as a foreclosure and it was infested with roaches, mice and bugs and they were able to completely get rid of them before I had to move my stuff in. I continued the service so they wouldn't return especially since I have lots of trees in my yard it keeps them coming back. The only bugs I ever see are dead ones! I also ended up with an infestation of fleas because I had gone way past due on flea prevention on my pets... I thought how hard could it be, I'll just get the stuff from the pet store to get rid of them. After 2 months of washing and spraying everything in the house over and over I gave up and had my house professionally treated for fleas too. I'm so glad I did because the war is finally over! I got so sick of picking fleas off of me constantly and gitting bitten... I finally have my pets back on flea prevention from the vet and everything nice and clean! Life can be back to normal! I highly reccomend them, as they are very professional, easy to schedule and show up ready and on time every time!

We have a contract with them, I was not very impressed with the way the technician sprayed the first couple of times. We had another technician come yesterday and he did a great job , he sprayed the interior and exterior and even took care of some ant piles outside in the landscape. I have seen more of the big roaches since they have come to spray hopefully since they sprayed inside that will alleviate this problem. I called as we have some more big roaches and they sent Alex and he was wonderful. He listened and answered my questions then proceeded to go above and beyond to make sure our problem would be solved ! I do recommend them .

Modern pest charged us $575 to seal every hole and retrieve all the rats and even includes a 1 year guarantee if they managed to find another way in. ***Second Edit*** I used Modern Pest Control's services for a year. 4 services every 3 months. Every time I had a service, the tech showed up late, early or didn't showed up at all. The service was fine, I did call them back once or twice to make a followup because the poison didn't work or wasn't applied everywhere. I received the service on Friday and I still have spiders on my outdoor walls/doors. I know they are a good company, but it just didn't work out well for me, I find the lack of commitment to appointments a very disturbing issue, specially when the tech didn't show up and was late. This past Friday we had the service for 4:00 pm, then I received a text that they were coming at 12:00 pm, and the tech showed up at 10:30 am. I would not personally recommend this company. ***Edit*** So I started to observe ants and other creatures appearing on my kitchen. I received an online rate us survey and I gave them a low rating because it had been 2 weeks since they came and I was having some troubles with bugs. I got an email from the VP of operations saying that I was going to get a call to schedule a followup service (it’s included on their guarantee or something like that). I scheduled the followup for a Thursday at 4:30. On Thursday I had to get off work early to be on time for the appointment and the tech never showed up. I didn’t get a call, email or some communication regarding on why he didn’t show up. I had to email them to let them know that their tech didn’t arrive. I was offer to have the service manager come in the next day at 7:00 am. I liked the service at first, but they were bad on the followup. The chemicals sprayed on my property killed some of the spiders, but I’m seeing spiders and insects walking on the edges of the walls (were they sprayed) and nothing is happening to them. Wouldn’t recommend anymore based on customer service and quality of chemicals/treatment of the property. As stated below, insects died instantly, based on the chemical being sprayed at them directly, but the effect already came off less than a month after spraying. —————————————————————————— Right on time, and very professional. The house was sprayed on every corner and instantly saw how ants and spiders started to die instantly. Would recommend to anyone looking to get rid of pests

DO NOT HIRE! I don’t know where the positive reviews are coming from. They probably paid for them. We had a problem with roof rats and called them because they’re so highly rated. Unfortunately, even with their 1 year guarantee, they NEVER got rid of the rats so they always came back. It’s been about 2 years since they serviced us and we still have rats. They’re NEVER on time. They are always late, and we’ve had so many instances of no call no show. It’s ridiculous that they charged us almost $800 to come and waste our time.
