I had a really bad ant infestation/colony that was in the walls and floors of my apartment. They were coming into every room. Once I would either seal up a hole or spray an area, they would find another place to come in. I had tried Terro baits, Advion Ant Gel and Advion Bait Arenas which only worked for a little bit and then they would return in full force in another part of my apartment. It was a complete nightmare every day and my apartment management was no help. They kept wanting to put a band aid fix on the situation by just spraying the base boards and surface areas, which would only kill the ants on contact it would not kill the colony or the queen. After doing a ton of research on ants, I knew it had to be treated in the walls with something that the worker ants would take back to the colony & queen. I decided to hire my own exterminator and called around to several places and almost all of them kept wanting to just spray the baseboards & surface areas, which again would only kill the ants it contacted and wouldn't take out the colony or queen. Being concerned about my health and the environment, I wanted to find out what the name of the products they would be using. And most wouldn't tell you the products, which didn't make me feel comfortable at all. Then I found Malang and called Jeff on a Saturday. Jeff took the time to talk to me and explain how they would treat this infestation. He willingly gave me the names of the products he would use. And he set up the appointment within a few days with Mike. Mike was great. He came in and treated inside the wall voids, behind the wall switches and outlets. It's been a little over a week and so far so good. My only regret was that I didn't hire them sooner! Thanks, Jeff & Mike!

This service leaves predatory ads on your doorknob with photo-realistic ants on it. This can be extremely disturbing to those with phobias or anxiety. "No" to scare tactics to get customers.

(UPDATE) Satisfied with the company's response about the previous experience. The owner called and figured out the solution that works best for us, new technician, Matt McDonald was also very professional unlike the past technician we experienced horribly. Matt knows what he's doing and very meticulous and detailed. He even told us the parts we were missing on, and cleaned it up with details and professional service and skills. He so noticed us that the work by last technician was incomplete. Definitely can identify the difference of work that made by Matt. Longer the service time, more detailed and professional work. (While he completed cleaning the front door and cleaning the backyard, I found spider still on my front door wall climbing down. I asked him could you clean here properly and with big sigh, he cleaned it )Today (the second time), end of the service, I asked him could you clean the corner of the front door because it seemed like a spider egg. He could’ve just answered that it it’s the spider egg and apologies about the last service that I wasn’t satisfied with. Instead, without wearing he’s mask on, screaming that it isn’t the spider egg, that he literally cleaned it with medal thing. He also screamed that he is mad about hearing words from his boss about the review I made last time about him on the MALANG website asking me about how was the service. I’m terrified and very disappointed about his attitude during the service. Also about the review on the last page that leaved one star about Jeff’s attitude, strongly agree. He kept ringing the doorbell while he was cleaning the out front door too. The owner of this company replied that the review isn’t by the customer. However, how would he or she even know the technicians name if they aren’t the customer?? I should’ve looked at the reviews more carefully before I subscribed the service. Don’t you dare you reply this review saying I’m not a customer. Literally have evidences to prof that I’m a customer. Just admit the bad review and learn from it.

I have used Malang for 4 years on a by monthly basis. The service has kept my house and premises free of pests such as ants and rodents in the attic which prior had been a serious problem. Jeff is always available to deal with any problems that might arise in between regular visits and also both he and his technicians (Michael for the past year) pay extra attention to any areas I might point out to them. Everything is conducted courteously and with the least need of intervention from me. I have recommended Malang to several of my neighbors.

Where do you file a complaint when the owner of the business is the problem? These guys have been ringing my doorbell for weeks - once I caught the owner going up to my door on his segway while I was leaving and I asked him not to ring my doorbell anymore as it's disruptive to my work. He said fine, no problem, and that was that. However they continued to ring the doorbell and leave their litter on my door. They rang my doorbell at 9am on July 9 - some people work late and don't wake up by 9am, Malang. So I called them and left a voicemail asking them to stop, which they apparently ignored. Today (July 12) again they rang my doorbell while I was working, which set my dog off and I went to the door to find the Malang guy standing there again. I told him that I wanted to talk to his boss and he pointed to the guy at the next house (the same person I first talked to weeks ago) so I waved him down and explained that this was the third time I was having to tell them to stop ringing my doorbell. And he had the audacity to say "We're not disturbing you" - how are you supposed to know that?? Some people have newborns or work late or just don't want you ringing their doorbell twice a week. When I asked for his name, he just said "have a nice day" and started rolling away on his segway, trying to ignore my question. When I persisted, he said "you're being very confrontational" and avoided my question again. I kept asking and then he asked me for MY name??? What a jackass. "We're not disturbing you" - Stop ringing my doorbell, JEFF. I know it was the owner because I looked up their Facebook page. If people ask to be left alone, leave them alone. I'm buying "no solicitation" signs so these idiots will stop ringing my doorbell and if they ignore it, I'm going to the city.

I got great professional mice service from Malang Pest control last Friday. I was super disappointed with the Hawax service, so I did my research again and I found the Malang and left the message. Within couple of hours I got return call from the owner Jeff and he try to know the situation of my house with mice now and he assign his technician to my house within one hour ( coz I need to pick up kid for school). The technician was so experienced, professional and patience. He answered all my concern and question. He check the whole house inside snd outside. He even found where the mice come from outside and made seal/ close with different protection depends on the whole size. He help us to place the glue box for the little white box and the super glue one… we feel we got a lesson from him. And the charge compare to Hawax service is much much more reasonable and worth. I highly recommend you if you have any mice issue at your house~ go for the honest and trusted service company like Malang Pest Control. Thank you for taking care my issues carefully and made me worry free.

Jeff at Malang is very responsive, professional, super knowledge about his products and quick to schedule. We’ve used them for 2 months now and see dramatic reduction in ants, silverfish, mosquitos, spiders and other creepy crawly things that were prevalent around our house after the hot summer. We used Terminex prior who lacked in results and billed us for every visit. Malang is on a regular 2 month spray schedule and after 3 weeks I asked them to revisit to spray for spiders one more time around our kids play area in the backyard - they came out the next day, no questions and no addition billing. They offer various level of products which are very kid and pet safe. Their team is very trustworthy - I’m very comfortable with them in the house while no one is home. Highly recommend.
