Drastic difference in number of pests vs the last year. Their process is effective and their technicians are very friendly and thorough. If you are on the monthly plan, you can schedule a visit at any time in between the seasonal scheduled visits. My most recent servicing was done by Chris and he was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Would recommend for anyone with pest phobia!

Complete scam! Had a few bees by the garage door here and there. These guys supposedly sprayed all around my house. After they left, we had the worst bee problem EVER! Our kids could not even use the garage doors as there were hundreds of bees there and all around our pool house. Called them immediately, they said the earliest they could come out was a week and a half later! WHAT?! For something I have already paid for?! When they finally came out, the guy was in a huge rush and spent most of the time talking about how over worked he was and how he was as being sent all over Ontario. Then he “sprayed” AGAIN and left. Nothing changed, it got so bad! My husband went to Canadian Tire and bought spray and dealt with it himself. I have called and cancelled my services with them and to this day (this was from July 2020) they try to charge my credit card for a service I don’t use. Save yourself the headache and the unnecessary cost, go to your local hardware store and get what you need at a fraction of the cost.

The inspection was undertaken on two separate days due to inclement weather on the first occasion. The person doing the inspection was courteous and explained what had been done as well as notifying me when to expect the next inspection in the Spring. So far, since May, when we took Insight Pest Solutions on, we have had no issues with insect/animal pests around the home.

When the door-to-door salesman came by the pitch seemed pretty good. We had issues with ants so I figured I'd give it a shot. When you get to actually setting up the appointment they inform you you're signing up for 4 treatments. I asked if you can cancel any time, and he said yes, I could no problem. What he didn't mention is there is a $330 (or more depending on how far along you are) cost to cancel your other appointments. Very dishonest that he wasn't upfront bout this when I asked about cancelations. Part of the sales pitch is you are eligible for a big discount, but based on the reviews nobody actually pays the normal full price. The actual point of this big discount is so they can charge you that if you try to cancel your future appointments (the contract mentions you must pay back all discounts received if you cancel). As for the actual treatment, it was fine but didn't really seem like great value. They sprinkled some powder on just 2 of 4 sides of my house and put some ant bait down. Took about 10 minutes.

I got two visits this fall. First time for spraying only the interior because it rained. The second visit was booked for exterior spray and I made a note twice for doing interior again because we found rodents in the house. On the day of the visit, I technician came without knowing that he gonna do the interior again. There was certainly some problem with their system. EDIT: We were still seeing some wasps on the property after the first treatment but Tre sent a couple technicians over to help figure it out! Phillip walked with me through the property and, thankfully, the initial treatments prevented nesting. To really keep wasps off our meals, he set some traps up in obscure spots so we can enjoy our BBQ weekend. Thanks! :) Gabriel did a great job on the service on Tuesday and was attentive to our requests to avoid certain areas and attention to others. He had sound advice for our concerns about not harming the mason bees, pollinators and birds of prey. Thanks Gabriel! I did only give 4 stars as some of the concerns we laid out with the sales person didn't get translated to the technician.

Also noticed a reduction in raccoons. This 3 month follow up involved protection to prevent infiltation of unwanted guests into the house to escape the weather. Feel very protected.

We had wasps. They are mostly gone - only see a few. We had a lot of ants and we still have quite a few in the front lawn. The last person here put something in the ant areas that really seemed to help. We still have a lot. Our biggest problem is the rodents. There are still very many of them. We saw one dead chipmunk but other than that there are still so many around. Is there something you can do to help in this area?

At first, I was hesitant to make this investment in pest control... but this company has surpassed all of my expectations so far! When the first technician (Terry) arrived, he effortlessly removed two hornet nests, and he completely eradicated our Mudwasp infestation around a shrub in our front yard (what a relief!) Over the next few weeks, I noticed that the spider population around our property was still quite prevalent, so I made another phone call. When Lee Fisher arrived, he was knowledgeable and confident. He took care of all of the areas of concern that I mentioned, and then took it upon himself to treat many other areas that I had not even thought of, assuring me that with his years of experience, "I know where they like to hide" :) I really, really appreciate all of these efforts from both of these technicians. David, the advance person, was very informative and certainly did not pressure for sales. We have had one of four appointments and the technician, Jacob, arrived on time and was able to answer all of our questions. The treatment for ants around the house was applied, and all went well. We have seen a dramatic reduction in the ants around the foundation. The one criticism is that we were told that the technician would be able to cover small openings with a copper mesh to prevent ingress from small rodents. However when asked, Jacob said that he did not have any mesh that day. I imagine that this will be dealt with in the second appointment later this year. All in all we are happy with what we have seen so far.

Every experience I have had with insight has been top notch. Helpful phone people, friendly and knowledgeable technicians etc. Hard for me to evaluate the results at this stage, but at least it has been a solid customer experience. The one knock I have against them - is that they do not include the full range of pest solutions. After I signed up with them, I actually had an episode of squirrels making their way in between the floors of my house and setting up a nest. I had to engage another pest removal company that did squirrel/racoon removal to handle that.

We have been using Insight Pest Control for several months now. After the initial visit they schedule regularly scheduled follow-up visits. These visits have been timely and useful. A few days before each visit, I receive a reminder email advising us of the date of the visit and what advance preparation (such as access, etc) is required for that visit and inviting feedback to advise the technician of any specific concerns or focus areas. We live on a rustic lot with abundant local wildlife; on each visit the technician reassesses and discusses the current situation and follows up regarding the previous visit. Their property profile appears to be accurate and sufficiently detailed that the technician is aware of our specific property and its needs. The technicians have been polite, efficient and informative, even going so far as to remind us that we can request additional site visits at no extra cost within the terms of our contract.

Insight Pest Solutions offers an annual contract consisting of 4 appointments throughout the year. It will automatically be renewed if you don't provide a written cancellation request. I mention this because some reviews commented on how that was not clearly stated upon sign up. It was, however, very clearly communicated with me and I have been pleased with the service they provide. I cannot quantify how much they've helped because my insect and rodent problems were not very extensive. They do, however, offer free assistance at any point if a situation should arise which is wonderful peace of mind. Everyone I have dealt with at the company has been courteous and helpful and they responded very promptly to my enquiries. I held one star back only due to the cost as it is a bit expensive.

I signed service agreement with them a month ago, after the first service, I found they did not remove the Hornet's nest, so I called customer service to schedule another service. They came again and send me a service report: "upon inspection, 4 wasps nests around the house, all active. Service: sprayed konk on the 4 nests around the house and took all 4 down." But actually some nest are still not removed. I request to cancel the remain 3 services, after talking to their branch manager, the company agree to cancel the service with no penalties.

Today a saleman Ryan came to my house for the pest control solution. Very polite and nice. Talked to my wife first and revisited back since wife not knowing about the house maintainess stuff. I shown him around the house with all the problems I have ran into. Carpenter ants, wasps nest in the wall, bugs in back yard and vegetable beds. Just lots of problem. He is very knowledgable about the solution as like how it work, when to do and seasonal bugs. I believe the company has a treatment that works for sure. So I signed up after with a discount, same to others, 4 visits in total. But after I just got the service agreement copy I read the contract carefully and knowing the same as other reviews mentioned. There is cancell fee if not 4 visists were fully fufilled. And after I checked the online reviews, I was not sure if it would work for my case. So I contacted Ryan by text msg, who used his personal phone to send me a reminder about when the first visit is, mentioned my concern. Without any trouble he cancelled (yet to confirm that the first visit wont show up in next couple days) my service through his admin who seems still working at 9pm. I like how Ryan respecting me as a customer in the entire conversation. He didn't act as some bad salesmen who just use the contract to press you. No, not a single word about the contract. He admit he didn't make it clear the free cancellation is after 4 visits but not anytime. He was also very patiened at explaining the solutions and the oppotunity that I might miss to treat my problems at once. I also like the fact he used his phone to remind me the first service day, shown confident on the solution and truely hoped it could work for me. Thats A+ customer service not just like other fleas away once i signed the contract. I will wait for the end result from my neighborhood who starts a service already. If it works for my neightbor then I will definately try it.

They used predatory and unscrupulous sales tactics to sign my 70 year old father, who barely speaks English, to a 1 year contract under the pretense of a one time treatment service. We had to pay almost $300 just to terminate the “contract.”

Very good. Extreme amounts of notification when accessing property. Personnel are well educated and thorough. Definitely noticed a reduction in rats, mice and bugs. Great service for the price. Neighbors were infested with rats and they were migrating to my property. On average I would catch 7-12 rats a year. I have not seen a single rodent since using the service. Well recommended.

The rep (Adam Smith) went above and beyond! We've had mice in a wall above the garage in winter. Not only did Adam place traps, he also voluntarily and professionally sealed an opening at the porch ceiling level where it was suspected that the mice might have been gaining access. He then also blocked weeping holes between bricks around the perimeter, which would still enable water to pass, but prevent critters to have access. When he came inside to dust the basement for spiders, he wore coverings on he footwear. He was very polite!

We signed up with Insight Pest Solutions - Toronto on the strength of a professional, knowledgeable and timely sales call at the door. We don’t usually agree to anything at the door but were persuaded by the friendly and informed response to our many questions. The good news is that after one treatment in early summer, we saw almost no carpenter ants in, on or around our house all summer. The service has been impeccably courteous too. So far….A+ and well worth the cost given the damage that carpenter ants can do and how unpleasant it is to deal with ants indoors. Based on results to date, I would recommend this company.

Simply it was a waste of time and money. They use chemicals ants don’t approach. And be careful for the cancellation fees. They include it in the contract and they don’t even explain it to you when u sign up. Over 300 bucks to cancel their services.

Responsive - both from the office and the Technician. The one Technician was so informed on her insect species that she determined we have Warrior Termites beneath our south lawn -- yikes! I obviously didn't like the diagnosis, but it was good to have it determined so that it can be treated.
