Horrible Customer Service! I scheduled Corky's weeks ago for a termite fumigation. The lady scheduling the service agreed to schedule the work starting Saturday, October 6th with the fumigation tents being removed Monday, October 8th. I received a text message on the 4th stating that the service would instead start on Friday, the 5th which was not what I agreed to on the phone and which I could not accommodate. The supervisor was mechanical in voice with zero empathy or concern. She refused to accommodate my needs and said she had to follow procedure and protocol......No flexing or exceptions. I will no longer utilize this company for termite or pest services. I utilized Corky's on two other prior buildings. I asked the supervisor if they valued customer service. I told the supervisor that they had in effect lost any future business with me. She really did not care. Zero empathy. She hung up on me. I plan on using another termite control company to treat two additional buildings of mine needing treatment in the coming months.

We had an ant infestation and a respected friend recommended Corkys. We called and had a very nice lady (Allisa) answer the phone and explain their services and what would work for our house. They got a fantastic technician out the next morning (Jerry Rodriguez) who took his time explaining what type of ants we had and how to get rid of them. He walked the entire border of my house and explained what was encouraging them around my house and then he went to work. We have a small house but he took his time and was incredibly thorough. He even came insidethe house and put some powder in the walls to force them out. We saw results immediately. It has been a week now and I can't find any ants. He even told me that we had an extreme number and that he expected to have come out again this week but so far so good! Good customer service is hard to find these days and I felt that from the first moment I called Corkys they went above and beyond with customer service. I am a female (I think this will post under my husband's name) and I did not feel uncomfortable with the technician here. I have had other companies come out when my husband isn't here and ask for extra $ under the table which made me incredibly uncomfortable. This was not the case at all! Jerry was professional, sweet and even treated a few of my inside walls without an extra charge. In fact, I think the price is very reasonable. My neighbors used another company and they were charged extra for the first visit. Corkys did not charge extra for this initial visit and I know all our ants provided a lot of extra work for Jerry. I have already recommended Corkys to other friends. I am very pleased!

I debated writing this review for awhile because I dislike bashing companies. However, I feel majorly burned from this company and wish that nobody has to go through the time and energy it took to work with Corky's Pest Control. I purchased a home earlier this year, they inspected it to have a ton of termite damage. They poorly communicated, took MONTHS to finish, and never called back. They worked with a 3rd party to replace a lot of wood around the house. This company did an incredibly poor job. Each time they would come out I would find that they only did half of the job, and since there was a language barrier we were unable to explain. It took 4 separate visits to do something that should have been accomplished in a day. Not to mention these visits went on for 6+ months. This is because I would call, get confirmation and then they would go radio silent for a few weeks until I would call back again and again. My latest issue that pushed me to write this. They installed a door in my garage leading to the outside that was promised to be fire safe (it's not) and when it rained, it was made out of such poor material that I can't even close my door because it absorbed rain and became malformed. Truly couldn't have asked for a worse company to work with. I hope this review helps someone make their decision to NOT use them to correct termite damage. I can't speak for their pest control for I would never choose to work with them again after the communication issues.

**I would like to say, Corky's is and has been 'awesome' as to when it comes to my technician, also the staff.....with the exception of 'Victoria' a few days ago (being extremely short with me and acting as if, it didn't matter how I felt about it, because I addressed the fact; that she was being short with me. HOWEVER, Gilberto Ballesteros CP73, is such a blessing. He is extremely patient, welcoming, has so much knowledge and doesn't mind taking the time to explain anything you may ask him/no matter how many times you may need him to explain it to you. He doesn't rush you at all. He comes to spray the outside of my house for spiders. Also, if you say that you may have seen a spider or two inside the home, while he is out there spraying (even if you catch him as he is leaving); he will actually give you the option to allow him to come in and spray. I can tell when he isn't the one who did the spray that month (out sick/vacation). I say this because, I don't generally get to see him when he comes and sprays, however, I can tell by the amount of spiders I start to see. However, it only has happen once. With him I don't generally see any. I so appreciate having him as my technician, and because of his service and the staff in the office (again, minus my exception). I have been going around giving the telephone number to my clients for their homes. I also tell random people I meet in other places. Corky's service truly makes you feel comfortable 'overall' and you also have the reassurance that 'if' you feel that their is a problem; they will return immediately (and have) without any extra charges. Also for the service, effort, great technicians, patience, concern and availability the monthly fee; it feels like it's free and/or just a tip, lol. Great price. Thank you so much Corky's & Gilberto Ballesteros, because I was terrified before your excellent service begin. Also, Gilberto is kind and very personable. He relates and makes you feel as if he is someone you have known, and can trust to take care of your pest needs. YES, I AM TRULY IMPRESSED.

BE WARNED! The company will performed an un-authorized service to your property and they will argue that you have agreed verbaly to their services. I contacted them on Sept 2010 and they performed minor check in my property. I complained about how disatisfied i was with their service and told them that i no longer need their service. 3 years later, April 2013, they performed an un-authorized service to my property for $99 and charged me for the service i did not agree. I called customer service and they said i had a verbal agreement with them. THREE YEARS they didn't perform any service to my property and all of a sudden i get this UN-AUTHORIZED service. DO NOT CALL THIS BUSINESS OR YOU WILL PAY FOR IT

Giving 2 stars since the receptionists were consistently nice. Hired Corky's to take care of our spider problem. Technicians came to the house and literally drenched the yard & exterior of the house in poison and left a white residue EVERYWHERE. I watched a technician lift up patio cushions, spray under them, and just drop the cloth cushion right back on top of the poison to soak it all up. Trash cans, base of the garage door, patio furniture, patio itself, base of front door, everywhere covered in white poison residue. I had to get on my hands and knees and clean up the residue as best as possible. I tried calling the office twice to voice my concern over the residue because I have a 1 year old that crawls around the yard constantly. One time I spoke to a receptionist that said a manager would call me back. The next time I left a voicemail. No call back to either one of my calls. I finally cancelled my credit card so they'd stop charging. Not even a phone call after that. Avoid Corky's.

We have had a number of pest problems (mice, spiders, ants, etc) and since Giovanny has been servicing our home we thankfully have it all under control and have bid farewell to these unwanted guests. We appreciate that he knows our property, knows exactly what needs to be done each time and and most importantly delivers results. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY. We got “exterminated” for termites over a year ago and got the four year “warranty.” They said they would bring a radar tool to detect for termites and should all be exterminated within ten days. But when they finally showed up to do the job (it took three weeks), they didn’t bring the radar tool (and never did) and didn’t complete the job. Now, one year later, we still have just as many termites, and they’ve been out here about 10 times to re-exterminate per our warranty (i.e. lazily spot treating and leaving huge holes in the ceiling). This is the worst service I’ve ever received from a company. They are frauds and should be reported.

Unfortunately after 10 years of service its time to say goodbye to corkys. I called the office to have a follow up done. And they were unwilling to send someone out in a timely manner. Their office staff is the problem they dont return calls. And they could care less once you have paid them.. like all other reviews have stated.

June 2014, my grandfather realizes there is a terrible termite infestation and he looks to his handy phone book and gives this place a call (told him he should have used yelp!) He setup a time and a date to have the house fumigated, they instruct him to call SDG&E to schedule a gas "turn-on" date and that they would take care of the gas "turn-off" shortly before they fumigate. The gas never gets turned off and then my grandfather, with all the food and other cosmetic stuff packed and ready to go is told that they cannot fumigate. Further over the "manager" accuses my grandfather of scheduling a turn-off instead of a turn-on. I tried to call them on it but the manager stuck to his story that it was my grandfathers fault. On the day that the gas was supposed to be turned on, SDG&E comes out and tells my grandfather he was there to turn on the gas, confirming that my grandfather didn't do anything wrong. My grandfather is enraged at this point, because this #@$%-off manager is blaming him. Corky's fails to turn off the gas a few more times while my family suffers without food, all things packed, and ready and waiting to go. My grandfather furious kept trying to work something out or get a discount for all this hullabaloo. They offer him a measly $100 off and still continue to blame my grandfather. The customer is always right, even when they are wrong... Apparently not at Corky's. Come here if you want to waste time and money and be blamed for their own incompetence. I'm surprised they are still in business. ANYWAY, obviously we are not the first ones to go through this after reading other reviews below! Be warned!

Termite Fumigation Disaster using Corky’s Pest Control. Our neighbor and I employed Corky’s Pest Control to fumigate our attached homes. We were left with over 220 broken roof tiles and a repair cost that exceeded $4,000. That was more than the cost of the fumigation. Our HOA property manager expressed that this was an exceedingly high number of broken tiles for our community. As you can guess, I cannot recommend using Corky’s Pest Control.

I'd stay away from this company. When I called to schedule a treatment the lady asked how I heard about Corky's. I said I got a mailer in the mail and she said, "Ok, we can give you $50 off your service". I thought that was a good deal. What she didn't tell me was she was signing me up for an annual plan for them to come every month. 1 month after my treatment which eliminated the problem I got a text saying that a technician would be at my house the next day to treat my home. I called to ask why I was still being charged and she said I signed up for an annual membership which I definitely did not. She said well we can cancel you but you'll have to pay back the $50 we saved you with your annual membership. I said fine, whatever makes this stop. Low and behold the technician showed up at my house anyway the next day. Luckily my wife caught him and said we cancel to which he replied, "good thing you stopped me because they would have charged you." The next month, thinking everything was taken care of I get another charge on my bank account for $50. I had to call again and tell them to cancel and refund my money. Still waiting for next month to see if I'm going to get charged again. Have 2 stars because the one treatment got rid of the ants but that's the only good thing. STAY AWAY!

Wow. Wow. Wow. Whoever is working in accounting right now has to be the WORST customer service rep in the country. Unprofessional, interrupts you, speaks down and rudely to you, has an attitude from hell, and hung up on me! We paid these guys for years. People who came out were nice. We had to cancel our service and we were promised a partial credit but never received it and it’s been weeks. Called today and again, whoever answered in the accounting dept was the worst representation of any company. Get rid of her because she’s hurting your business name. Never again will we use Corkys. Watch out for these crooks. They will rip you off! My tenant signed up with them and I went on the website to pay for the two times they came in the summer. I called them 3 months ago and left a message to cancel. But my account wasn't cancelled and they came out for service in December. I told them I would pay for the December service but they tried to charge me for Jan even though nothing was done. Elizabeth said that half of Jan needs to be paid even though I sent them an email to cancel on 121817. How shady is that! They didn't even come out to do service in Jan and they are trying to charge me for it. Looks at the pictures of our conversation. These people are crooks. The final straw was when Corky's worker left an open bait station (see picture below) with LETHAL POISON right beside my PETS AREA. If you would like to avoid my experience with Corky's of... * A history of overcharges continually sucking my time to correct * Unchecked bait stations and overbilling for incompetent service * A culture of rudeness and argumentativeness * Inability to take responsibility for their errors * A constant "customer is always wrong" pattern of unreturned calls and behavior. Then save yourself the agony and potential loss of your pets' lives from this absolute train wreck of a company. I sincerely hope that you read this and avoid them. Your pets' very lives may depend on it!

sorry to say, we are incredibly frustrated with Corky's termite treatment. After paying more than $ 2500, the company had to send people out three times to treat reoccuring termite damage. Every time it was incredibly hard to get the scheduler to call back, to get service in a timely matter, to get someone who really took care of our problem. Meanwhile some wood tiles on your siding shows considerable damage, that could have been avoided if the jobs was done properly in the first place.

Trouble with Corkys Pest Control, 1. authorized and gave CC info for $175 to cover 1st 3 visits and begin monthly service... they charged me $244(?) 2. when I called they "quite by accident" mentioned they would check my recorded call and get back to me - that was the first I heard of that and immediately requested a digital copy for myself stating I was now unsure of the quoted monthly service either being $59 or $69 a month and since they overcharged me the initial payment, I now wanted to confirm the monthly. --- they agreed. 3. Next interaction was a voicemail stating that they listened to the recording and I was correct and they had refunded me the $69 difference. I immediately called them back and again requested the digital file for myself for the same reason stated above... wanting to now confirm what I was quoted from the initial sales call.... Elizabeth (their customer service rep) with a raised voice asked WHY I needed the file since they already refunded me the money -I started to explain again and before I was finished she flat out told me she was NOT going to send me the file... I told her something to the affect of "maybe I should subpoena it from her, she began yelling at me and hung up. 4. That was on Thursday Feb. 28th, Friday Mar. 1st I received a voicemail stating they had cancelled my service due to non-payment, yet they already had my CC on file for the service I signed up for ???? and had already previously charged my card without issue. I have saved this VM from Elizabeth. The following day Sat. Mar. 2nd I called and spoke to Veronica(? - have it written down somewhere) and explained I wanted a full refund and very specifically why, she agreed and completely threw Elizabeth "under the bus" on how she handles customer service, yells at customers and does what she wants without regard to policy. 5. Checking my bank statement I did NOT receive a full refund but instead they charged me $69 and refunded the difference - I am assuming this is for the initial visit / service. If this is true A. the deal was for 3 pest control visits in a 1 month period, I had 1 of those B. I had one visit and they picked up their traps and charged me without giving the results of the period the traps were set C. Is this not a violation of Privacy? Breach of Contract? Discrimination?

It started with a mailer I received that stated to call for a easy estimate for termite tenting. So I called. I talked with a lady that informed me that the easy estimate would have to be done by sending out a tech to do an inspection. I was kinda like this isn't the easy estimate you stated in your mailer, but what the heck. The lady said she would give my name and number to her tech and they would call for an appointment day and time. That call didn't come.....flash forward 4 weeks or so. I get a call from an account rep who states he's extremely sorry that my number and information slipped through the cracks and that he was on the ball now and would see everything through. I was kinda pist, but figured I'll give them another shot. I scheduled a time for there inspector to come out and bid the job. He came and said that got all the information he needed and that the account rep would be in touch. It's now been like 3 weeks and I've heard nothing. This level of incompetence or lack of professionalism is next level. If you value your time stay clear of these guys. There are plenty of other termite companies that will work for your business.

If I could give Corky's no stars I would! Terrible company. We paid a tech for a service and the tech "allegedly" lost our check which was then stollen by someone and cashed for $800. We reported is a stolen and fraudulent to the bank. When I called Corky's I was put on hold many times, the customer service rep laughed at me when I got upset, then she told me it wasn't their fault and hung up on me. Beware of Corky's and their sloppy business practices!

Jeeze where do I start? I hardly ever write reviews and if I do they are because they are good. Unfortunately this is not the case. So last night at 7:02 (darn missed them by 2 minutes) I left a very detailed message that someone call me back first thing in the morning. I have never used Corky’s before but often hear their commercials on XX1090. They open at 7:00 am. I rec. no call so I called at 7:30. I told them I was calling because I have a bad flea infestation. I have never had fleas before. If you had have them you can understand if not, it's a fricken NIGHTMARE! I look like I have a rash on my legs from so many bites that constantly itch! I explained to Virginia that I left a message last night for someone to call me and no one returned my call. She told me they didn’t get my message? I told her something is wrong with your answering service then. So I asked what her availability was today, she told me she didn't know. Her tone in her voice made it sound like it wasn't her job to know what was available for the day if someone asked so I asked her if she could check. (rolling my eyes) She said she would have to reach a tech and call me back. I explained to her how desperately I needed someone to get a hold of me right away. I got the impression that she didn't really care one way or another. A half an hour went by and no call so I called them back and spoke to Annette. I went through the whole thing again and also added I have never used your service before and so far I am kind of disappointed. I explained how I left a message last etc. So then she THINKS she put me on hold but she sets the phone down and (are you ready for this) she TALKS ABOUT ME TO HER CO-WORKERS, I could hear every word. Saying with complete attitude how I (ME) am in a bad mood and that I am irritating her and blah blah blah!!! I was furious! The longer I listened the madder I was getting. I went off on her telling her the next time you want to talk about your customers you should make sure that you have them on hold and not set the phone down as I just head EVERY word you just said about me. I wish I recorded the conversation because I still can’t believe what I was hearing!!!! I then called back and spoke to a supervisor Fran who was very apologetic and helpful and told me if I call back to schedule an appt that she would give me a discount. I am not sure if I am going to call them back. Update: So it's been a week and just as I expected not one person tried to get in touch with me regarding the review that I left or my complaint with the Supervisor. Well Corky's has made it obvious that they don't care how their reps handle their customers or care to follow up on any complaints.They just want you to PAY THEM! I will NOT be calling them to schedule an appointment and I am going to spread the word about my FIRST and LAST experience with Corky's!

Are they incompetent or just dishonest? I'm not sure, but either way you definitely should not hire them. I found termite droppings in my built-in bookshelves in February. A Corky’s inspector came, conducted an inspection, and recommended that we have our house tented. We followed the recommendation, which cost a couple thousand dollars and 3 days out of our home in April. Less than 5 months later I found the SAME droppings (color, shape, size) in the SAME location. I expected any follow-up to be covered by the 4 year warranty on the tenting service. However, Corky's is now claiming that the droppings are the result of a different type of termite and I need an additional $1,400 worth of service. I have tried to resolve this with them but after explaining my problem to the COO (including photos of the droppings at different points in time), who said she would look into it, I can’t get anyone to call me back. Avoid them if at all possible.

No breakfast still since last year at beginning of pandemic. Smoke alarms went off in the morning of of 7/7/ 21 approx 10:30-11:00 am. Fire dept knocking on every door! Pit bull attacking visitor of a guest a couple doors down hall 7/8 neat 8:00 pm. Ole alarms going off in same room sounded like. O was going to take things to my vehicle however it didn't sound very safe to do so? Front desk rep from day be for when I checked in at 530 wish pm was still on duty at time the alarms were going of mid to pate morning the next day. Sounded extremely stressed out on the phone! Neighbors kept me up past 4:00am w/loud rap music & strong language! Very unpleasantly stay. A gift for my 61st birthday from my step daughter's as my home was being fumigated. Local resident, not impressed with any part other than pleasant conversation w/ front desk rep at check in. Very polite friendly professional demeanor by name of Catie???? only thing thong that kept me from going elsewhere all the prepaid gift part kind of had me w/o an option!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! My Landlord called a few different companies to come out and remove a dead animal from under our patio deck which would require them to crawl under the house about 6-8 ft to reach the porch (straight shot). He called a few different companies and Corkys was the one company that told him they would crawl under the house and they told me the same thing when I made the appointment. Feeling confident that we would be able to open our windows again after Corky’s came, we were very let down when our technician Gilberto showed up and asked where the animal was, and then said they don’t crawl under houses and left, which took about 1 minute from the time he showed up. He didn’t look into the crawl space or even attempt to help in anyway. Our landlord called me and said that he spoke with the company after the technician left our house and they told him that the technician said the animal was to big for him to get out from under our house so they have to come back on Friday which is 2 days from their initial visit because they didn’t have a technician available sooner. He didn’t even LOOK into the crawl space or anywhere near it and he said it smelled like a “rat”. So they lied to my landlord and to us. My husband called Corkys customer service line and complained about them lying and having a technician come to our house and do absolutely nothing and they told him they could have someone come on Friday but we would not be compensated in anyway for our troubles and they’re failure to even try to help us when the first technician came. The woman at Corkys customer service line then hung up on my husband because he wouldn’t except their poor customer service and needed a solution much sooner. We needed a solution when the first technician showed up! These people lie and are very misleading and do not care about their customers. Go elsewhere!!

We had our house fumigated for termites by Corky's several days ago. As part of the pre-inspection process we were told we could loose our 15+ year old climbing roses. We conveyed to our inspector we understood the risk but needed to proceed. We adamantly requested that the roses not be cut as they are climbers. Much to our utter dismay when we returned to our home after the completion we found that one of our rose bushes had three stalks ( 3-4 plus inches each in diameter each had been cut 2 feet BELOW trellis. All of the branches and foliage were still in place ABOVE the trellis. When we called Corky's and requested to have a supervisor come and survey the damage we were told an inspector could come out in ELEVEN days! At our insistence they sent Hector a poor field guy working in the area to take pictures.To date we have still not received any explanation or return call from Corky's as to why these cuts were made. We chose to use Corky's over a less expensive, smaller organization, thinking we would receive a higher level of service and would be protected by what appeared to be a reputable company, however we are greatly disappointed! Would definitely NOT RECOMMEND Cork's Pest Control. We feel Cork's Pest Control has no idea of the definition customer service or follow thru. Please learn from our extremely unfortunate situation!!!!!!!

I've been a loyal customer for years (decades). Unfortunatly I will be canceling my service and will never return. The reason is I woke up to a massive invasion of ants in my home. I was told (at 7:45 AM) that my home could not be serviced until the next day, taht I should use windex to control the ants. I insisted that they come the same day and they reluctantly scheduled me for a late afternoon visit. Three hours later I had a voice mail saying that "due to an emergency elsewhere" my appointment was pushed out three days. What about MY EMERGENCY! I could go on about their lack of customer service but i'll stop here. Do yourself a favor look for another company for your pest control needs. Corky's was once good but not any longer.

The technicians are nice enough but the business model does not make sense. I have a tree rat coming into the house and I requested traps and the business office told the technician not to traps. I spoke to Elizabeth in the office a she told me they dont trap. So they basically charged me for bait stations and then started sending me a bill for monthly service that I did not request. They advertise for a level of service not given. Do not use this service.

My neighbors got tented for termites. The guys that covered the house in the tent did such a BAD job there are broken roof tiles, they killed a 15 foot tree. They also killed my rosemary bush on the other side of the fence. The amount of damage these men caused is horrible. If you are using Corkys for termites BEWARE

Just in the last couple of days we had Corky's treat out home for termites. Marco Varela took care of the termite treatment explaining every step and kept us very informed and the next day Hector Cader replaced the facia boards on our house that were rotted and infested. Paint was matched on the new boards and it looks great. Overall customer service was outstanding, I would highly recommend Corky's.

We hired corky to fumigate our home for termites. They told us that they take care of the gas to our home during the treatment. They shut off our gas but didn’t reschedule to have it turned back on after the fumigation. We came home to no gas in our home. When I called about it, they tried back tracking on what they told us saying that they don’t deal with the gas being turned back on and it’s not there problem that I didn’t read it in the paperwork. The customer service was very rude, careless and highly unprofessional but all to quick to take our money without completely full filling there contract related to the work. I do not recommend this company to anybody unless you want to be disappointed.

Corky’s completed a termite inspection for us several months ago prior to the sale of my house. At the time, Corky’s noted that a rotted post needed to be replaced, but our buyer fell through and we had to put the house back up for sale. To make a long story short, we found another buyer and at the last moment, his lender said the post needed to be replaced and the home would need clearance from your company. The buyer was able to get the post replaced first thing the next morning, but we still needed the Corky’s technician to re-inspect. All of this needed to be done by the date of sale. Our real estate agent spoke to the tech at Corky’s and he initially said he did not have any openings. We were in a panic! Given that we were likely to lose our home to foreclosure unless we got clearance from Corky’s and got the inspection report to the buyer’s lender by the date of sale, I pleaded my case in front of your tech to see if there was ANYTHING they could do. I spoke to the tech directly and explained our situation. He said he would speak to a supervisor to see if the technician could re-arrange his schedule from his appointments in LA or see if there was another technician that could do the job. Well, somebody made some magic happen, because Corky’s got clearance for the house all within a three hour time frame. They may never know this, but the technicians and their speedy response, and quick attention to their customer’s needs, might have helped us save our home in enough time from being foreclosed upon. I would like to humbly thank Corky’s and their staff for working so very hard to get this done for our family.

They were ok for gopher extermination. On time, professional, did the job. Only things lacking was the tech left before I could talk to him, so I need to follow up with the company myself to see what's next. Also, existing holes weren't covered up, so I'll have to do that or I won't know if there's new critters. Recent update - I would not use their service again. Customer service is lacking. I had a difficult time trying to cancel a recurring service I didn't know I had agreed to. They charged $55 for a follow up visit days before even coming out. Trying to contact their accounting / Customer service will lead to voicemail.

I regret having my house tented by this company and would encourage anyone else to reconsider. They couldn't even get my phone number right. Have a monthly contract, it was great in the beginning but one of their best technicians left and service has been sketchy. The office and scheduling is terrible. They give you a 3 hour window and then don't bother to call if they will be late. The office managers don't do anything but promise it won't happen again and it does. You give them information on billing, contact, etc and you have to repeat each time you make an appt. Supervisors/managers blame their new employees when I believe it comes from the top.

THEY DON'T KEEP THEIR WORD. Scheduled pest control for 10am-2pm. So I took a half day off work. At 1:58pm nobody had showed up so I contacted them and was told sorry there was a scheduling issue and so it was set for 3-5pm. They would rush the guy over at 3pm. Ok great I said, so I told my boss I'd be taking the full day off. And then nobody ever showed up. Now I'm left with a ton of ants and spiders all over, and 1 less vacation day. DONT TRUST THEM.

I have had service every 6 weeks for years. Here is what happened today. For longer than I can remember I have received a call the day before to let me know they are coming. This did not happen. Then when I asked for the number to call about it the exterminator said "It's on an old bill can't you look it up?" Finally since I was on a phone call when exterminator arrived I went outside to put my dogs away and he was already spraying. When I asked if that was dangerous for the dogs he replied "not if they do not go near it" All I can say is any company that let's someone who is this incompetent represent them and has that little respect for someone's animals has lost my business and they definitely do not deserve yours.

I called for an estimate for Termite Tenting and was told they charged $150.00. When I declined I was then told their "technician," Sam, could give me a price over the phone. He then scheduled an Inspector to come out, and put me on "the schedule." The Inspector didn't show up, and we had to reschedule. When he came, he was great (Soloman), but we had found out that we also needed $7,000.00 in roof repairs. When I asked Sam to wait and reschedule our Termite tenting he got mad and said he would send me an invoice for $150.00! Wow! I would have thought they would have understood that the industry standard would be to treat the new roofing wood with the house! When I told Sam I was upset at his strong arm tactics and his lack of compasion he made disparaging remarks about me in his service notes. I guess he was unaware that these notes print on the invoice he sent to my email! Wow! Nice to know how Corky's really felt about me! I called to voice my concern and was told that they would review my recorded phone conversation. I would NOT want to deal with a company that has such sales tactics. Come to find out, they do not do their own termite tenting, but contract it out. Well, I was not looking for a sales man to find me another company. Huge disappointment after their Inspector Soloman was so nice.

To be honest things started off great! My neighbor recommended them, the woman I spoke to when scheduling a consult was friendly and helpful. She asked if I would like to put a credit card on file so they could just charge as they serviced and I agreed. The gentleman that came out for the consultation was on time and professional. While he was here I asked to receive a 15 minute heads up call being that I have dogs on my property. I also gave both the gentleman that came out and the woman in the office my gate code to enter my backyard should I not be home. First service: Not the gentleman that did the consultation, which is understandable but the guy that came out had no notes regarding where to service my property and I had to walk him through my property as if he was there for an initial consultation. I work in the service industry and understand things don't always go smoothly the first time so I wrote off the lack of information on his side. Billing: I received an invoice saying I had not paid for my initial service. Curious being that my card was on file. I called and the accounting department stated I needed to give the ok before they charged my card on file. But I put my card on file so they could charge my card as service was done. Second service: No notice they were coming. I wasn't home. Came home to a slip of paper on my doorstep saying they were only able to service the front yard since the gate was locked. The gate that they have the code for. I called the office and expressed my frustration. Again, I work in the service industry so I tried to be as understanding as possible but clearly there's a lack of communication in this business. I was given a $25 credit as a "sorry". While speaking to the office I again requested a 15 minute heads up call. Third service: Didn't receive a 15 minute heads up call as I had asked for. Instead I received a "We're here!" call. The service itself went smoothly but I was home and had to walk him through yet again to ensure he understood where to service and gave him the gate code. Again. Fourth service: No heads up call. No "we're here" call. I saw him pull in to the driveway so I began to bring my dogs in assuming I had time to do so being that he would typically start in the front yard. However, the gentleman walked up to the back gate while my dogs are barking stating he was here to service! I asked if he had done the front yard already and his response was " I only have orders to do the backyard". Really? When did that change? I know I didn't change my service. I let the gentleman know I'm no longer in need of Corky's service and did't let him service my property. I called the office and was told the customer service person was not in that day so I left a message with the woman who answered that I was extremely dissatisfied with the service I had received and wanted my service cancelled. This was 6/30. On 7/1 my card was charged. I called the accounting department and was informed she had not received the message I had left the day before. I let the accounting person know that I cancelled service and wanted my card refunded. She stated she can't without the customer service persons approval and she was on the other line. I'm transferred and placed on hold. I wait. And wait. And wait. I get the message that the person was on the other line about 5 times before the message changes to the person is unavailable. So I call back. This is where the disrespect starts to really get awful. The women in the office are so incredibly rude, unprofessional and disrespectful. I'm placed on hold many times, laughed at, lied to and completely disregarded. This goes on for at least 45 minutes. Finally I need to get to my own job so I leave a message on the voicemail for the customer service woman. I express my grievances and let them know I expect to see my card refunded immediately. Refund never came. No call back ever received. Basically forcing me to simply dispute the charge. Despicable behavior for people that are representing a business in the service industry.

I REQUESTED FOR A SUPERVISOR TO SPEAK WITH BUT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE PEOPLE WILL NOT CONNECT YOU TO ONE. THE COMPANY MUST BE HARD UP FOR WORK IF THEY'RE TREATING A CUSTOMER THIS WAY. I'M WAITING FOR A SUPERVISOR TO CALL TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE.
