BEST SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD!!!!!! I had a wasp nest that needed to be gone! Matt had responded to my request right away (got to my place within 15 mins)and not only did he clean up the wasp nest he also sprayed the area so the last of the wasp would perish and clear out of my backyard! If I have a problem again with any kind of pest I will be calling back and also refering Sheild to everyone! I can finally have my backyard back!

What can I say except Matt is amazing ! You won’t find Find this level of customer service anywhere else , I won’t use anyone different for pest control . This is the second time in three years I’ve had shield come out and it’s top notch both times . This morning I phoned at 930 am by 11 am the wasps were taken care of and I live in Taber , I just want to say thanks so much because I know you’re a busy guy and getting my wasps taken care of ASAP means so much to me with me being allergic and having a 7 month old . Pricing is very very reasonable as well so that’s a added bonus ! Look no further for pest control this is the only place ill ever use thanks again !!

This guy should really try to drive more carefully! Especially in a vehicle with your company logo plastered all over it! Just witnessed him speeding and weaving through congested traffic putting everyone around him at risk. Didn't know that bugs are that much of an emergency. And to top it off, it was a funeral procession that was causing the traffic delay. Have some respect buddy!

All I can say is above and beyond with excellent service. We had a wasp nest in a vent pipe leading into our basement bathroom. To put it simply, I highly recommend this company! I have either used or spoken with several of the other local companies in this field, and Shield Pest and Wildlife Control was superior in many ways. Other companies either said they guaranteed their work and ended up being thieves who did not return when the pests were not reduced whatsoever, Or, the other companies that also charge more, did not guarantee their work. Some of the other companies, that were also more expensive, went so far as to even say that this kind of work cannot come with guarantees. Well, SHIELD begs to differ and they delivered on their word! I will certainly be hiring them going forward each year or with any required incidents. Not only was Shield Pest and Wildlife Control extremely effective in their methods (pests were significantly/completely reduced unlike the results from other pest control companies in the area), but when some of the pests even started coming back a little ahead of schedule (before the guaranteed period was over), the owner came out immediately to respray no questions asked. And he even went beyond and sprayed for other pests he came across that I had not mentioned, free of charge. Another company I hired in the past that said they'd guarantee their work, unfortunately did not decrease the pest numbers and the numbers were even allowed to increase dramatically due to the lack of control rendered. And upon even sending photos of the problem, that company did not fix the problem and kept the full amount paid for their poor services. That same company also sprayed in a way (too close to window and door seams or something) that allowed the chemicals to saturate the home requiring quick airing out which was not possible due to the spraying that'd been performed, and caused headaches etc etc. That company made scheduling for appointments extremely difficult/impractical via phone, text, and email. As well as being extremely unprofessional by not returning any phone calls or emails during the process, especially when problems were raised. The company also was late each time and did not call ahead to inform me as the customer. To expand on the unprofessionalism, other companies were not great at providing basic information about the process for first time customers etc. These issues were all averted once I contacted and changed to Shield Pest and Wildlife Control. To summarize, Shield Pest and Wildlife Control not only provided effective results at the get go, they provided services at a comparable or even better cost than their competitors. They also guaranteed their services, then they completely delivered on their guarantee. They made correspondence simple, with little wait times for an appointment, and always showed up on time. And they went beyond the scope of the job I'd hired them for, providing excellent customer service.

Matt came to help with our mice problem and he was professional and efficient. Stated the cost upfront (I had a hard time getting an answer from other places I called) and quality of service was superior to others I have tried in the past. We were still hearing/seeing evidence of mice after about 3 weeks or so, but he came back to recheck everything and did not charge since he does offer a warranty on his services, which most places don't offer. There has been no evidence of mice since he came back. I also really appreciated that he was patient and accommodating to my son who was very curious and kept asking him questions; that shows what kind of person he is and I believe that is important when choosing which businesses to support. I would gladly recommend him to anyone who asks! If we ever have issues in the future, I know who I will call.

Before getting service for my ants and wasps, I called around for pricing and to get a feel for who knew the most about extermination. Talking to Mr Grainger was a really good experience. He knew what he was talking about and his prices were the best. He came when he said he would and took care of my ant and wasp issues. He went beyond. He explained clearly what he was doing. It rained the morning after the treatment and he was perfectly happy to come back and redo the ant spraying. He is a very nice young man who really knows what he is doing. He gave me advice about my neighbor's problem with skunks and even referred me to someone for the insect problems in my Dutch Elm trees. Matt was absolutely terrific!!! I had an infestation of bedbugs, tried to get rid of them myself, didn't work... not even close. I called Shield after reading the positive reviews, and am I ever glad I did!! Matt showed up with a helper for the first treatment, had a quick look inside the house and said it wouldn't be a problem and he felt confident he could get rid of them. Between the first and second treatment, I saw 3 bedbugs, and thought this would be another failure. At the second treatment, he asked me if I'd seen any, and said it was normal. Long story short; I haven't seen any in over 2 months now, and what an unbelievable relief it is. I wouldn't wish them on my worst enemy! So anyways, thanks so much Matt, and I would and will definitely recommend Shield to anyone with a pest problem.

THE SKUNKS ARE GONE. I had a big problem with skunks! This winter has been so mild, they moved in- en masse! I did everything I could to get rid of them myself. Finally, I just gave up. Mat came immediately, set the traps- baited them well and immediately came to relocate the skunks as they were caught. Efficient, knowledgeable, careful not to hurt the animals. His prices were much lower than the national firms. He is local so he gets here quickly and he takes care of business. His company takes care of insects, bed bugs, wildlife, mice and all other pests, apparently. Shield is a good company. Thanks, Shield, for efficient, speedy service!
