I can't say enough positive things about this company. I used them earlier this year to rid my yard of a nasty spider problem and the service they provided was 100% effective. I went from trying to navigate my way through spider's webs on a daily basis to LITERALLY having none in my yard. I was so impressed. I thought of Martin's again a month ago when I needed an answer to the scratching and rusting sounds coming from one of my soffit areas...I had put the problem off for far too long and when I finally picked up the phone to call them, Jason had an answer for me the very day he came to my home. Bats. LOTS OF BATS. Not only did he put up a bat cone to rid my residence of the entire bunch, he put up with my response when I very nearly melted down at the thought of what was up there :-). He was professional, thorough, careful and most courteous and I now have a bat free home AND no spiders! 5 Stars guys...I would never use anyone else.

Martin's pest Control has had our backs for several years now. Martin has kept us safe and cozy free from vermin, pesky ants and most of all the mighty vole. Not only did Martin rid us of all our voles but made us understand the complete lifecycle, reproduction habits and phyc and differences between voles, moles, rats and mice. With help from Martin's Pest control we are now smarter than the vole family. By the way the voles have left.

Great guys. Very helpful with any problems and dealing with pests. When spring rolls around, I keep an eye out for Invaders. I know I can call the and they will answer questions and respond quickly if I need them. They always follow up to be sure the situation is handled. It does cost more than a can of spray, but you may buy lots of cans and still not solve your problem. In several instances, dealing with wasps, I wasn't sure how to attack the pests without causing harm to myself or my pet in the process. But with Martin's, you can be sure they will identify the pest and they will take the right measures to eliminate it.

We had bedbugs in our apartment and Martin was the contractor for our building. He treated our apartment 5 times and we still had bedbugs!!! I believe they don't have enough knowledge and specialty in this area. After the second treatment he told us to put all our stuff in the closet inside the apartment. later when we moved we noticed that all the stuff that we put in the closet were the source of bedbugs and have lots of bedbugs trapped within them. As I said they don't have good knowledge and I don't recommend them at all.

Excellent service! Had a big wasp nest hiding in a bag of mulch in our greenhouse, I was too scared to water my plants! My DIY traps did nothing so I called around, went with Martin's because of the affordable cost and they were able to come within a few hours (other places were quoting a few days). My specialist, Ty, was very friendly and easy to talk to, and dealt with our wasp problem very quickly and professionally! Thank you Martin's Pest Control I will definitely opt for this company's service in the future if there will be any more pests!

Martin's Pest Control was able to squeeze me in to get rid of the wasp nest in my backyard. We tried the store products but the nest was way out of control and tough to get at as it was under our shed making the whole situation impossible and terrifying. haha Mike came by and took care of the nest in 30 minutes. We have used Martins pest control on two occasions at two separate properties and have been very happy with both experiences. We won't hesitate to use them again in the future if we need pest control. The first instance was dealing with a wasps nest which Bill located and eliminated for us. The job was quick and efficient. This first good experience with Martins was what decided us upon engaging them again in a townhouse to deal with a rodent infestation that was in place when we moved in. The pest control company contracted by the property management company was not effective and seemed to put in minimal effort, while Martins (Bill again) listened to our concerns, put in serious effort and explained what he was doing, while he was doing it so that we understood his strategy. We have not seen the little buggers back since. Should I ever need pest control in Calgary in the future. I will be calling Martins to be sure.

Amazing! They have always been super responsive whenever I’ve had a concern. We moved to a home by a provincial park and oh man... let’s just say the spiders were something to behold! I’m all for “nature” and “natural” but after the toddler got bit a few times I called these pros in to help. We call them every 4ish years now when the spider population gets out of hand (because as much as I would love a pet skunk, my dog wouldn’t be too happy about it!)

I had a really great experience with Jason from Martin's Pest Control. Jason really knows his stuff and he will explain things in detail so that you understand the problem and how he can fix it. Jason was extremely helpful, friendly and attentive. He was always early or on-time and if you call him he'll get back to you right away even if he's busy working on another job. He's a true professional and I feel really lucky that we found him. The cost for their services was reasonable and the personalized service and kindness that they provide really can't be beat. They have a lot of experience and I feel like they can handle any situation and if they couldn't they'd tell you truthfully that they can't help. The pest problem I had is a long and frustrating story but Jason really stood up for us and provided many different types of solutions to find and correct the problem. I'm so glad that we have our home back and I feel Jason had a large part to play in getting things corrected. Jason is a good person, he's honest, won't take advantage of your lack of knowledge and won't beat around the bush. You can tell when you meet him that he really just wants to help and that he takes his job and your pest problems really seriously. He went above and beyond in the service he provided and I couldn't have asked for any better from him. I'm really happy with the service that we received and I'd recommend Martin's Pest Control to everyone.

Bill informed me that they are called cornfield ants and can be a huge problem when it is hot and dry. I was very pleased with the service I received! We have been using Martin's Pest Control Inc for going into our third season. Before calling them, we noticed that we had a massive ant problem. To the point where we could no longer use our back yard without being attacked by them. I called many different companies before finding this one. Every other company I talked to had me scared that I had carpenter ants. In speaking with the owner of this company he talked me down and was able to explain in more detail what we were dealing with. He new how important it was for us to not have the ants because we do have a small child. They were quick with their response and their pricing is very reasonable. Going into our third year of being in this house, we decided to do a little landscaping this spring. As soon as we started we noticed millions of larva and little eggs. We emailed Martin's right away to see if they could come and spray our back yard before our first session was scheduled. The email response was fast and they had no problem coming before hand. We would highly recommend Martin's for anyone who is wanting a knowledgeable company who is efficient and on top of things! We would honestly not be able to use our back yard if it wasn't for them.

We had Bill come in to spray for our ant problem for the past two years. He has been excellent and the number of ants in our yard have drastically diminished. We may not even need to call for his help this year with our ants. We are also working on a vole problem in our yard right now and Martin's Pest Control comes once every two months to refill our bait stations. It has been interesting to see the changes in vole activity in the yard. We have signed up for a one year program so we are hoping to see some changes with this soon. They do super overcharge for the job that we got quotes for about 1500$ while they are charging over 6000$, very dishonest. Rice weevils are not native to Alberta. When we found a few wandering the kitchen floor one day - no big deal - they were bugs. When we found a dozen more the next day, we began to worry. Yuck, bugs! We have always supported local family businesses in Calgary. We contacted Martin's and spoke to the owner. He was polite, and cut to the chase quickly, suggesting that weevils would be an introduced insect. We've brought these into our own house, we believe in a large bag of basmati rice from a local wholesaler. We were able to resolve our infestation in a simple methodical fashion, thanks to Bill. An extremely professional, knowledgeable individual. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Called in to inquire about the services this company provides and was greeted by a very abrupt, disrespectful, and passive aggressive individual. When attempting to discuss my pest situation and provide background information on what I've observed, the person on the other end of the phone persistently stated that he wouldn't know anything until they could get a technician out to do an inspection. He barely took the time to listen or let me finish explaining what was going on in my home. I then went on to describe what the pest looked like and asked if they had specific treatment plans for this insect (I was able to identify the specific species after performing my own research), to which he replied: "How do you know that's what it is? Do you have the expertise to identify insects?" After that response I gave up trying to work with this individual and just ended ended the call. I'm not sure if I caught this guy on a really bad day or if that's how he treats all of the potential customers he speaks with but his conduct was unacceptable.

I've had a scare thinking that I might have bed bugs in my apartment this weekend, and given that I don't have much experience with this type of thing, I felt quite desperate and scared. To make things worse, my condo management can't get a bed bug exterminator in until tomorrow, so I was freaking out this afternoon wondering how I'd make it through the night. I called Bill at Martin's Pest Control, and he was incredible -- put my mind right at ease! He made it clear that he didn't want me to spend any money unless I was sure I had a bed bug issue, and told me exactly what I needed to do to figure out whether I had it. He asked me to text him a picture of what I'd seen (and killed), and put up with all my questions until we figured out that what I saw was likely not a bed bug at all. I will make it through the night peacefully now, and have Bill to thank --- that too, all for no money spent! Thanks Bill, I'll definitely be contacting Martin's Pest Control next time if I have a similar scare.

During the process, he provided legal advice from his experience dealing with condo and tenants. I had skunks under my front step and read the review about Martin's Pest Inc and decided they were the ones to call. I was so glad I did. They were prompt in replying to my concerns and came out that day. They looked around my whole yard and explained where the would set the trap and what was their protocol for catching the skunk. At the end of the month they came and "fogged" the area so that the skunks would not return. I was extremely impressed with their service.

Had them out the end of may at my house and my Neighbours. Out tech Keefe was great, sprayed for ants and gave us our instructions, conveniently paid at the time of service. This service came with a 30 day review. Called back to state both homes we’re having ant issues again, spoke to a woman on Thursday, she states someone would be in contact to book for a follow up service. Never heard back so called back on the following Thursday. Spoke to a man who was short and ignorant and stated I never spoke to a woman but that they were out and had redid the treatment. We never seen them here however. Now 2 weeks after the second treatment I am finding the ants are worse at bit houses and are even coming inside. We will be reaching out once more however am hesitant that I will be met with argumentative behaviour again. Expensive service to be unhappy with and not receive results.

This company is fantastic. I called them twice this season for unrelated wasp nests that were behind the brick on my house. Jamie was the tech both times and he came out the same day I called. He was excellent, quick and very professional.

I had called many different companies regarding a wasps nest we had in our front window well - Few answered or responded in a timely manner and one actually told me that I'd have to go down into the window well myself to see how many nests are there before they'd come. (No thank you!) Martin's Pest Control answered right away and a very polite technician arrived the next morning. By the time I had arrived at work that day, I already had a report about the job completion emailed to me! Fantastic, timely customer service for a very reasonable price.

I live in an apartment building that is having all apts sprayed. We had to remove everything from our cupboards in th kitchen & bathroom. I forgot a couple of glasses the building charged me, ok my fault. Martin's sprayed a few days later, the next time they came to sprayed they wont because some pictures were left on the wall. Must have been a different guy spraying because I was NOT told this the first time they sprayed resulting in me getting charged again. O don't blame the building I blame Martin's.

I was very disappointed with their service.They were referenced to me by condo management. I was told they will do two weeks follow up and 90 days follow up. when I call for two weeks follow up the guy didn't answer my call and didn't reply my message. Finally they came for weeks follow up after one month. Same thing happened for 90 days follow up. I can't reach him. I had to ask management company to call him. And he told me it's over 90 days. He said it's up to me to call for 90 days follow up and I failed to do so. He said he tried to call me before 90 days which is absolutely a lie. very very disappointed.

Had issues with bats. I believed they moved into my attic. Martin's came out and examined my concern and property. They reported the bats were not in my residence but using my overhang as a resting place. They did identify areas when my roofer failed to put in proper flashing that could allow critters into my attic. Bottom line, these guys could easily have taken me for a big bill but they didn't. They were honest and that was so nice to see. So rare as well since I live in a rural setting. I will use Martin's for all my problems and strongly recommend them if you want honesty, competence and reliable results. I am truly glad I called these guys.

I had Jason from Martin's Pest Control out in mid August, as our columner aspens were crawling with yellow jackets and bald faced wasps. I was told by the owner of the company they could spray the trees but that there was no guarantee it would work and if it did, there was no telling for how long. Well it worked perfectly. From that day forth our trees were wasp free. I contacted Martin's again in early September for a wasp nest in the ground near our mailbox. Jason applied a powdery substance into the nest and that took care of the problem. I wouldn't hesitate to contact Martin's again and Jason was wonderful.

Fantastic service! I was looking for short notice/emergency same day service due to wasps getting indoors through a ceiling light fixture so I really didn't want to wait another day as I am a landlord and didn't want my tenant's at risk for getting stung. After I waited all day for another company to not show up I called Martin back with next to no notice and he was able to send out his technician Jamie at the end of the day, he did an awesome job quick in and out super friendly. Not to mention the first 6 pest control companies I called didn't want to deal with an indoor wasp problem so I would recommend this company for sure, very professional and reasonable pricing. Definitely recommend using Martin's for ant control. I had been unsuccessfully trying to get rid of ants in my front and back yard for years. Called Martin's and they got back to me right away to make an appointment. The technician came on time and sprayed and I haven't seen an ant since (it has been a week so far). I recently noticed a number of wasps flying in and out of a vent on the side of my house and after hitting it with the shop vac and some spray I wasn't confident I had gotten them all so I called Martin's and they were able to send a tech out the next morning. Jason took a look at the vent and listened but didn't hear any activity so he banged on the vent a bit and still didn't hear or see anything inside and suggested I may have sucked them all up with the shop vac. Jason was super friendly and professional and I will definitely be contacting Martin's if the wasps return.
