I found the service to be quick and efficient. The technician, Danny was very personable and helpful. I also appreciated that the spray is water based and safe for pets within 4 hours. There has not been enough time since my trees were sprayed to see if the aphids have been completely eradicated but I am expecting that to be the case. I would recommend this company.

Excellent customer service all the way through. I called late in the day and the next day at lunch the technician came to address the wasp nest in the front yard and found 2 more, 3 in total! The largest in the back yard was the size of a football hidden in the evergreens. The technician was very knowledgeable and he returned within a couple of days of the treatment to physically remove the nests. The pricing was very reasonable and they were very easy to work with from booking to service to invoicing. Thank you!

Friendly, thorough and knowledgeable technician. Provided a great email summary report of all findings afterwards. Would use these guys again. I should add that I haven't used other exterminators before so it's hard to comment on price, other than to say it seemed comparable to other contractors. It was about $150 for an hour and a half of time, plus another $60 for 4 traps (mix of inside and outside.)

These guys scammed my friends. Gave a quote for one load for bed bug decontamination then without calling or asking permission divided it into two loads and doubled the price. They then proceeded to hold my friend's furniture hostage until they paid. The manager literally would not speak with them. BE CAREFUL SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES

Do yourself a favour and stay away from Ecopest! This is the third and LAST time using their services. The first two times were professional and courteous, not sure what has happened since. Was given a window for the service which was totally disregarded, the tech was totally disinterested in his job, the office personal doesn't communicate with the techs. Overall terrible service and very incompetent. Lost a repeat customer and many more as I will no longer be sending referrals to this company.

The technician came to our home and determined the extent of the mouse issue as well as where they could be entering our home. He was pleasant, courteous and knowledgable. After the inspection and setting the bait traps he stated our bill and a report on what he found would follow. As well, someone will be coming back in a few weeks to see how the traps are functioning and to look at some areas he couldn't get at in our garage (need to clean out one corner for the inspection). Overall, so good so far!

Great customer service provided through both phone and email contact. Had a problem with birds nesting in house vents and after providing some photos and a detailed explanation, a technician was able to provide a quote and what steps would need to be done to fix the issue. The quote was reasonable compared to other pest control companies and a service scheduled within 48 hours. The technician arrived on time and did a great job removing the birds, cleaning out the vents, and putting in barriers to prevent reentry. Very happy with the service.

My house backs on to a storm pond and we used to have large spiders and spiderwebs covering our house. This made the backyard unusable for my kids. My impression is that there are systemic issues that are causing multiple miscommunications between administrators, service providers, and management and this is leading to errors that are sometimes annoying and sometimes dangerous. I hope that these issues can be directly and comprehensively addressed as I don't feel confident using Ecopest until they are. This was our third year using ecopest (initially for wasp nest removal, then mice baiting, and then spider spraying) and there have been multiple issues throughout. The mouse decontamination was done very haphazardly with no masks/protective wear and when a more senior person was called in to do it, they picked up some debris close to the mouse droppings and handed it to my husband (who was not gloved) to throw away. With the spider spray, I clearly spoke with someone over the phone on 2 separate occasions who asked about mice station rebaiting EACH TIME and EACH TIME I indicated that we did not need it done. Yet, it was still done. Furthermore, I asked that the spray be done only around the base of the house not the eavestroughs, but I was home when the spraying was done and they sprayed the eavestroughs (streaking our upstairs windows in the process). Lastly, even after sending me the correct invoice, the wrong amount was charged to our credit card requiring me to send multiple emails and call the company for resolution which is not just frustrating but exceedingly time consuming.

The suite we moved into was, unfortunately, infested but thankfully we called Ecopest and they did an on-site inspection with their little dog & a very professional, polite and concerned technician. Two days later, a heat/chemical treatment was completed, and 40 days later, we had a Re-inspection performed. All went well, and there is no more sign of these pests. I am, finally, able to relax and enjoy our new home, thanks to Ecopest and their service and office personnel. And of course, the little dog ????. I will recommend Ecopest to anyone who experiences pest control issues. Thank you.

Efficient response to online order, prompt delivery (even out of Province) and swift reply to any emailed messages. Really great service. The Catchmaster Insect Trap and Monitor product is a very cost efficient way to keep an eye on insect traffic. I had had difficulty finding these in local retail stores so pleased to have found a customer friendly online source.

I question this company’s training, I also question the methods of detection. A pest inspection came through my apartment building recently solely looking for bed bugs. I have been receiving bites since moving into this newly built building and had yet to find any bed bugs prior to there inspection. After they inspected with there dog there results were negative for any bugs. Considering the stress I’ve endured with bug bites and extreme allergic reaction, this news was both comforting and concerning. What had been biting me? Fortunately a week or so after there inspection I had found my first bed bug in my residence. (Sad existence when a bed bug finding is relief). After notifying the building manager they then had eco pest return for a second inspection and wouldn’t you know it they found “signs” of an early infestation. Was the dog broken before? Or did the two ecopest inspectors half ass there job because they assumed there was nothing. After notifiying me of there findings the second go around, they confirmed to me that the signs were solely in the room where I found the initial bed bug and every other room was clear. As a precaution I have been staying away from my home due to the severe reaction aforementioned; but apon returning after a week of absence I had found three more bedbugs all in a separate area. Now I eagerly wait for there treatment of the unit knowing it’s scheduled nearly two weeks after inspection. My main concern now is; will this company actually spray and treat my unit as procedural as they should? Will I have returning bedbugs after there treatment? I guess my rating on this company will stay until a result is provided, because as far as I’m concerned they have done nothing to prove to me there worth. I found a bed bug they came in pointed to the bed bug in the jar and agreed there’s bed bugs then moments of shuffling around in living quarters un monitored I’m notified of there potential infestation? Give me a break

This company sprayed a large tre in my neighbor’s yard this week. At least one third of this tree hangs over my yard. My neighbor informed me that her tree had to be sprayed for suspected aphids but did not know what was being used to treat the tree. I thankfully covered my fish pond with a tarp because I came home go find my yard covered in Malothian! The chemical was pooling in the tarp, my dog run, my deck, my vegetable pots, my patio furniture, my grandchildren’s toys, my apple tree were all covered in this toxic chemical. I choose not to use chemicals in my yard and now it is covered with a pesticide! I phoned the company and the women I spoke to basically told me they do NOT have to inform me they are using a toxic chemical even when it is sprayed all over my yard. She was not willing to take any responsibility at all for contaminating my whole yard. Where is their INFORMED CONSENT? My husband came home to a horrible chemical smell and saw the technician spraying towards our yard and the spray drifting all over the yard☹️ I have spoke to other companies about spraying for aphids and no one suggested Malithon! Eco Pest.....there is nothing Eco about this company....I DO NOT recommend them!

Asked the worker if the spray was pet friendly. The senior staff member did not answer the question. I phoned and talked to the manager, he said it was safe for pets after a few hours after it has dried. But would not answer the question on discipline on the worker doing the job. Nov.19/2020 - 8:15am Highway 2 heading north into Edmonton. One of your drivers was dodging lanes and jumping inbetween lanes dangeriously close to other cars. I drive a big truck and your driver had absolutely no room to switch lanes and completely cut me off forcing me to slam on my brakes on the highway. This driver continued to drive aggressively jumping between lanes for as long as I could see. This type of driving is completely uncalled for and extremely dangerious to the public safety of others.

We chose this service as they were available on the weekend, and we were able to get them to our house to address our problem fairly shortly on a Saturday. After the inital treatment of our wasp nest (in our soffit of our house), the wasp activity didn't stop (or even slow down). We gave it a few days, then called to have them come back and re-treat the area (this is free). Ecopest customer service was simply TERRIBLE at confirming a booking, and clearly didn't care to make sure we were happy with their service. I have never recieved such poor quality service from a company. I requested to get my money back, as their customer service wasn't committing to a schedule for re-treatment, and after multiple times of them not showing up, I requested our money back again. They told me that I wasn't able to get a refund (even though the treatment wasn't working after 3 times), and I was even considering hiring another company and paying an additional $300 to tell Ecopest to never come to our house again. We are currently waiting for someone form Ecopest to come re-treat this nest again, and they are over 2 hours late for their committed appointment (scheduled within a 4 hour window). Please try to use a different company if you can.

very unhappy with them. They puts down the mouse traps and then after hearing that they charge $220 per hour with a two hour minimum to clean up, I specifically told them not to do anything else. They did anyway telling me that the property management company had authorized the clean up and telling the property management company that I had authorized it. Then I got the $440 cleaning bill for something that I could have done by myself with a shop vac in 20 minutes. Felt very ripped off.
