our building manager called you guys and made an appointment in which you never showed the rescheduled and you showed laid down traps and for the schedule of the follow up in which i was told by the employees was definitely of the day discussed on the notice you did not show once again and we are all (me my wife, and the apartments around ours,)i'm sure are just as annoyed as we are with the inconsistency with which appointments get followed thru with we we called the day you were to check the traps (today) and were told they'll get here when they get here in which they never did we tried to call again an hour later (5;30) to find you were closed and you weren't actually coming

horrible company they came to my house for bedbug removal gave me this long list of things i had to do. i did it but them they told me i had to do more, charged me 79.95 for doing nothing... came second time they said it was to cluttered with furniture???? like i had nowhere else to put my furniture... i wouldnt recommend them to anyone they are a rip off $79 per if they dont do anything should see there extensive list... there was a small hole in 1 bag it would have taken a couple seconds to fix but they cancelled spraying and charged me another 79$ people dont have this king of money to just give away for doing nothing ... DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE RIP OFFS

Found bed bugs in my house contacted my landlord who got in touch with birch fumigators they came and did the first treatment but needed more stuff done for this second treatment. We did all that we could off this giant list that’s ridiculous and completely unrealistic for anyone to do but we did our best. They come today and find whatever reason to not do the treatment. Never again will I have them come this is crazy for someone who’s got health issues as is that list is nuts and way to long. Way to much headache and stuff for nothing to be done. Very upset

If I could, I would not give any stars whatsoever. Terrible customer service from the office staff and they can't keep to appointments. I used them for rodent control and all appointments were either significantly late (hours, not minutes) or complete no-shows. But don't you dare complain about them, because if you do decide to voice a complaint to them, prepare to be ganged up on by their staff.

I have used Birch for all my issues with pests at my rental properties. Their techs has always been professional and they do take care of the problem. The techs are even willing to talk to you in detail about the problem, what they are doing to deal with it and how to prevent it. I have never had any problems with them and have always found them professional and responsive. Would definitely continue to use them.

I had a wasp ???? problem INSIDE my house ... those little wasps were coming and going like an airport terminal ... I was afraid to go to sleep at night knowing a wasp nest was in my basement. The very pleasant and courteous gentleman from Birch Fumigators came as quickly as their schedule allowed ... powder was sprayed several times inside the entry point and within a short period of time all activity has ceased. I would definitely use Birch Fumigators again ... hopefully I won’t have to (no offence). ????

I only gave them 1 star because I had to. If I did not have to then they would have failed miserably. They, from our perspective, were only in it for the money. They mention on their website to rely on them to get the job done. Sure but it will cost yo a pretty small fortune. The only good thing I can say about the company is that Ryan, the heat treatment specialist, was very professional and went over and above the call of duty 1. Clerical staff do not communicate with the workers as to what needs to be done on a job. On at least 1 occasions the workers came out and never did anything and tried to blame us for not doing the prep work ahead. This was after a couple of times of them coming out. 2. The sheet they call a prep sheet is not even what I would consider a prep sheet at all. 3. They do not mention things that are important that are missed on the prep sheet. Such as if you get a heat treatment, you need to get rid of things that may explode such as alkaline batteries. This includes all remotes etc. 4. We were told they had a Sea-can to heat up our car in one treatment. Drove to their site to find out there was no container for heat treatment. Just a large hose in one of the windows. Dude could not even roll down the window. I had to do it for him. 5. Had to have multiple treatments done. As of this review, we still have issues. We have to hire another company to finish the poor job that was done. This had started in May 2020. Let them go Aug 2020. 6. We are out of pocket several hundreds of dollars for a storage container because their company fails to provide a pre-inspection consult. We were told, AFTER the first treatment was to happen, they were declining to do it because we had too much stuff. Only after the first appointment did we find out that there was a charge for a pre-inspection person. We would have gladly paid the service fee $75.00 ahead of time to get the ball rolling quicker. 7. No where on their prep sheet does it say not to pack in cardboard boxes. Most people that I deal with store things in their basement in cardboard. 8. No where on the prep sheet does it say how to properly tie a garbage bag. We figured that you just tied it in a knot. Apparently you need to "Goose neck" tie it up. We only found out about this from a cleaning company specializing in pest control. Birch Fumigators, please feel free to try and defend your actions. Everything i have mentioned can be corroborated with one other condo member and the condo association.

Excellent service and very friendly staff! We had a mouse issue in our home and had tried using another company that was a bit cheaper. The stuff that the first company put out just didn't seem to be helping. After 4 visits my husband asked what they were using and they said tomcat. With a little googling, we found out that we could buy tomcat ourselves at any hardware store. Why pay someone to use something we could ourselves? Contacted Birch a few days after and got an appointment. The technicians arrived on time and did a full inspection of the house. They replaced all the other devices and used a different product that they explained only a licensed person can purchase. Within a week we stopped seeing mice!! Birch has been fantastic to deal with and are definitely worth the slightly higher price! Will definitely be using Birch again and would recommend them to anyone needing a great LOCAL pest control company!!

I work in an industrial warehouse/retail space and last fall we had a pest problem. Our company contacted Brian at Birch Fumigators and set up an appointment. Brian was professional, friendly and knowlegable on what was needed to get our problem under control and gone. He came and set up all the devices and I am happy to say we are pest free. We now have a pest prevention maintenance each month and could not be more satisfied. This company and their staff are #1. I would highly recommend this company.

A couple of weeks ago we found ourselves in a tough spot. We had just opened up a wall and removed a bay window to replace it. Inside the wall we found a huge wasp nest and some now very agitated wasps. Now we are stuck we can't put the window back in or put the replacement in as the wasps are very aggressive. We can't wait as it's supposed to rain and there is a big hole in the wall where the window used to be.We called around to multiple companies. We got the same answer over and over again. We might be able to get someone there next week to come look( not to deal with them just to assess) . Then we called Brian at Birch Fumigators. He understood the situation we were in and the seriousness of not dealing with it immediately. Although he was on another job site he finished quickly and got to us within an hr and quickly went to work on the wasps. He was quick ,efficient and friendly. Now as it was an emergency call out ,he easily could have gouged us on the bill as we were desperate . This was definitely not the case. I would never hesitate to call and use Brian @ Birch fumigators for any further projects . A big thank you from Knight Doors and windows.

We thought we had a carpenter ant problem in our house and had another company come out to assess the situation initially. The other company walked around for 5 minutes and then sprayed the house's foundation, telling us that they resolved the problem. A few days later, we noticed more and more ants in our home, which is when we called Birch. Birch came out within a week and did a full assessment of the house and the property. They developed a plan and gave us a quote. One week later, they returned and found the carpenter ant nest in one of the walls in our home. They exterminated the nest and told us where they were coming to repair our house to avoid future problems. I would recommend Birch to anyone that has a pest problem. They are not only thorough but highly professional at a reasonable cost. I would recommend Brian and Mark from Birch anytime!

I used this company to address powdery mildew on a large hedge. Perhaps this wasn’t Birch’s area of expertise but they didn’t say so. They said they could do it and gave me bad info, false promises and took my money for a few consecutive years without results. I trusted them and I shouldn’t have. In hindsight, I should have done my own research on powdery mildew treatment rather than trust them. As a result I am out a several hundred dollars and have seen no results - the problem persists. At one point they told me it may take 5 consecutive years of treatment to address the powdery mildew issue. I trusted their expertise and went along with the plan. Each year, including this year, my hedge dropped its leaves and looked awful. I now believe they had no idea what they were talking about. Unfortunately I believed them.

Do Not Use!!! Buyer beware!! Got my trees treated and was told I would see a difference with 10 days. The bugs spread to my near by healthy trees that also got treated as a prevention. Never saw any results and the problem got worse. Contacted Birch Fumigators about the issue and they were unwilling to do anything but ask me to pay my invoice in full. No one was willing to come and assess the trees or offer an additional treatment. Was told I would be charged 240.00 again if they came out. Very unreasonable to waste more of my hard earned money on a treatment that didn't do anything the first time. Very unsatisfied customer. Will never use them again. Don't waste your money.

I have no idea why people are so hostile toward Birch. In my opinion, Birch is the finest service available. Every season, we become the unhappy recipient of a large wasp nest that builds inside our outdoor ceiling(s). Last year it was above our garage. This year it was on our front balcony. So many wasps! We had another service that wasn't great at "responding" despite its name, and they would use liquid insecticide followed by spraying foam into the entry and exit points. Doesn't work. I called Birch - basically out of desperation - after 4 visits from the "non-responder" and Mark arrived not even 2 hours later. He spent about 15 minutes using a powdered product and the wasps have been gone ever since. NOT ONE WASP HAS BEEN BACK. If I could rate Birch with 20 stars I would. Top notch service and customer care. **2018 Follow-up. Every single year, our condo complex gets invaded by wasps. Smart little wasps. They find a tiny crevice and then build huge hidden nests. This year we had another nest, but in two locations. Birch came within a day and eradicated the wasps. Haven't seen a single wasp. Suddenly, we noticed a bunch of small holes in our yard. MICE! Birch, again, came out within a few days and now we have prevention units and an easy and inexpensive routine for regular maintenance. I cannot say enough about how great this company is to deal with. Nice customer service, always on time (usually early), and total problem solving. Five stars.
