Secluded, well treed camp sites. There are several sandy beaches, and easy locations to put a kayak or canoe in the water. There is a very nice and moderately difficult short hiking trail and plenty of shaded picnic spots.

Beautiful sandy bottom lake. Awesome for kids because its not really deep. They have created a nice beach area as well. There are change rooms and bathrooms on site. As well as kayak and canoe rentals. It is a beautiful place to spend the day with family

Great spots. Some are a lot better if you want to fish. Some spots have a path right down to the water. You get a bit of privacy. Someone will be within sight though. A bunch of drinking water spots. Outhouses along the main road. There is a bigger facility with showers. Could be pretty far to walk depending on the spot your at. The spots are a good size for tenting. There are other spots best suited for campers or RVs. They are generally surrounded by trees. But most will have at least one side where you can still see and hear your neighbor. The price of wood is fair. It was wet for us though. We had more success the next night after buying kindling at Superstore in Yarmouth 20 min drive away. 12 pieces for $5. $2.50 for ice. There is a beach, but it's rocky sand. Going in the water is larger rocks. Water is a brownish colour. Waters fine, but some might mention it. Bring mats for the ground. Your tenting on gravel most likely. Again, depending on what spot you have. Overall, we loved it. Great time with the family.

The staff is amazing! Yarmouth is really clean. The lake is beautiful and pretty calm. Walk in sites are fantastic with great amenities. Very accessible, great for biking. Short hiking trail through the woods. Good mix of wildlife.

Great little provincial park, good for an afternoon, or overnight camping. Two beaches, one with life guards during peak season. A nice hidden little woodland trail. Great for families.

We've tented here on two separate trips and have thoroughly enjoyed each visit. Staff were friendly and both sites we stayed at were decent sized, had decent privacy and had level areas for tenters! Can't wait to go back!

Great park! Many sites have their own little path to the lake. Varied site sizes, tiny to huge. The beach is spotless with picnic tables and accessable (pit) toilets. One of the best maintained provincial parks that we've stayed at. Hats off to the staff.

The camp sites are very small and not tent friendly. Was nice that it had a lake and very peaceful at night.

Great place to go camping without it costing an arm and a leg. Many of the sites are fairly private and are surrounded by trees that provide some great shade. The services do reflect the lower price point, so don't expect a site with full services. The grounds and facilities are kept clean and well maintained and the staff were very helpful. When booking a site online, beware that some small sites still say that you can fit two tents on them even though you could probably comfortably only fit one small tent on the site.

The beach was very nice, lots of trees around the camp sites. I only gave it a 4 because the wood sold at the camp should be dryer, and the hand sanitizer in the outhouses and washrooms should be checked/verified more often. For you Geocachers the area has a few caches in the park.

A little hidden gem! Our site was directly on a beautiful lake, and the path to it was very private! It was like having our own little 6 foot x 20 foot private beach! The tent sites were large and pretty private. The park had trails through beautiful, wooded areas and down to the beach.

Nicely treed. Variety of small to med sized sites. Many with water and electricity. Nice small beach on lake with pebbly sand. Lots of bird songs. If you want solar, choose site carefully as many are tree covered while others have plenty of sun.

Nice provincial park. Some sites are very small. Sites very close together. Lake nice and warm and clean for swimming . Kayak rentals $10/hr, very reasonable. Water safe to drink but bad taste. Only one comfort station for entire campground. Only cleaned once per day, not sufficient. Extremely friendly staff.

A beautiful campground with nice, private sites--many with views of the lake. We did not make a reservation which worked out nicely because we were able to drive around the campground and choose the site we liked best. Kayak rentals were available for the lake.
