You may have noticed that it reaches an opinions average is nearly the top, and it is based on a high number of feddbacks, so we may think that the assessment is quite reliable. If many people have bothered to value when they've done well, it works.
You know that we don't usually stop to place scores when they are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Park corresponds to the category of Historical landmark.
Great experience for travellers, photography enthusiasts and family outings. If you are in winnipeg, i would recommend to take a stroll and check the fun facts about constellations.
Great place to go for a walk and find out about some history as well
Great place to study if you don't want to sit at home and need a change from a library
The combination of shops, restaurants, and nature is what I love about The Forks. Throw in the stuff for the kids and it's A++.
The ice castle was neat for the first 5 minutes, which is how long it took to walk around it all. The second walk around was more trying to get my money's worth. My one major gripe is that all the shaving from the ice makes it hard to walk on if you have any sort of mobility issues. Next time, I'd save my money and just enjoy the free activities at the forks.

Fun place to visit and walk along the river and see the shops and restaurants.
Love this place
The Forks National Historic Site is located at very prominent location in the middle of Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. This place is close to Downtown and St Boniface Neighbourhood. There are lots of activities to do like boating, skating, photography, eating, drinking, cycling, walking and many more fun activities with family and friends. Lots of parking space available. Well maintained and decorated areas to view and enjoy.

Such a gem we have here in Winnipeg. Love all the different cultures that congregate there!
A very nice place to unwind, relax, spend with family and friends and just simply enjoy the sights and sounds. Whatever season, they have different activities to cater to different audiences
Very nice
The place to go in Winnipeg. I enjoy going here no matter what time of the year or how many times I have visited. There is always something happening or something new.
This is definitely the best place to go in Winnipeg. Lots to do both I side and outside in every season of the year. Plenty to do for people that like history and those who do not. I highly recommend a coffee at Espresso Junction or even try a Gibraltar at Fools & Horses. My favorite place to eat here is Taste of Sri Lanka. The food is tasty and flavorful.
Beautiful all year round!!

This place is very scenic. If you love walking wow. A must see when in Winnipeg.
Fun place lots of shops and restaurants.
Great place to spend with your family
My first visit to Winnipeg. A beautiful walk with good food, Rivers, places for kids to play, and public art.
The best urban park in the city. Even better during the summer with lots of events.
Good to visit
Interesting place to spend a weekend with family!
Winnipeg Ice Castles after dark are fantastic
Great place for having a family dinner!!
Good place for a walk
Beautiful place!
Great outdoors at the forks
We love the Forks! It’s a great place to go for fresh air. There are always a lot of people, rain or shine.
Best place in the city
Great place to ride a bike to! Lots to do and see.
Lots of shops!
Went for ice castles. Was super cool. Literally. Lol. Not what I expected. Love the castles that are not made from ice blocks but from running water. Its gorgeous. Its worth the money to go see. Please don't touch it or break icicles please.
Best place
So much to do. And see. And eat. And drink. And buy. We love the forks and go there as often as we get a chance.

Great place any time of year.
Great place
????
Sucks that you have to pay for the parking. But despite of that, the forks is gorgeous.
Lots to see and do and for free. Great picture opportunity too.
Hopefully we have the Forks. What a great place. Don’t miss the forks guys!
Fergies fish always excellent ‼‼‼???? ❤ delicious, even the peasants seating was great ❣ for a November evening ????
Winnipeg
Nice public space
Most visited place in winnipeg

Very nice park, lots of trees and green spaces sbd outdoor concerta. My only criticism would be the children's playstructure was not made of durable materials (plastic broken in some places). A great place to unwind and take in mother nature.
Nice place to go with your family and have fun.
4 out of 5 because people don't understand that sidewalks are like roads and you should stick to the side you're assigned to. Aside from that not bad, just be ready to pay 10 bucks for a beer and wait for those gosh darn scooter kids to never get out of your way when you're shredding hard in the bowl, which I am sure a lot of parents and immigrants will relate to. Bring your own beer is what I am trying to say.
An amazing park in downtown! Just go and enjoy your time among nature, historical monuments and buildings, the rivers. A must in this wounderful city Winnipeg!
Love it
if you're visiting winnipeg then you gotta check out the Forks and some of the cool little shops and restaurants in the Forks Market
Incredible nature and entertainment Hub in the Center of Winnipeg.
There's a lot to do at the forks which I enjoy... However, this is not a five star rating because there is no longer the free parking in front of the forks. Honestly, I don't mind paying, it's the fact that there was zero announcement at all. I came by one night and all the signs were removed and I saw a new parking meter by the bus stop. Again, I don't mind paying, it's that I checked everywhere online and there was zero announcement and just the day before it was still free to park.
Pomemon
Great to explore
This park is a great family visit during the warm months, perfectly justifying a quick jaunt to Winnipeg. During the cold months there is a skating rink, and still quite a lot to do. Note the beautiful views of the Red River and Assiniboine Rivers joining. You'll easily find quick access to museums, restaurants, gift stores, attractions, and transports deeper into historical Winnipeg.
Nice to spend time with kids or families in the weekend here, you could find lots of funny activities here
Awesome place to visit
Want to visit Winnipeg? Never ever miss this spot. You will love this historic place and symbol of Winnipeg : Canadian Museum for Human Rights You will also love to ride beside red river. Overall a nice place to spend your time
Something to see. It's a really interesting tourist attraction place to go.
The place to visit in downtown Winnipeg, this location beautifully located along the two rivers that meet in the area offers a little bit of everything. There is history, scenery, art, recreation, shopping, food, museums, and other points of interest. The entire area is quiet accessible and is very walkable. Great views of the river and the downtown skyline. Good food offerings. Close walk to the bridge across the river for more sightseeing.
Awsome
Awesome gathering place for numerous restaurants and events
Nice place to roam around. Scenic beauty, adjacent by the river. Spots for children to play. Eye catching view of downtown.
Ice Castles at The Forks are impressive.
Lovely place
Ice Castle s were great
Always worth a visit.
Once again I felt like a dirty lil sercret and a privileged second class citizen while collecting my treaty money no where near the actual forking of the mucky rivers, under the cover of a white (???) tent - are we too sun kissed? The what should've been a tipi was off the beaten bush trail, halfway between the river and an actual groomed path. Why don't they make a spectacle out of the event complete with fan fare and military canons maybe even a marching band with bagpipes or fiddles or at least a group of pow wow drummers. If they dont want us on stage refusing the public embarassment at least the bagpipes would clue us in as to where mister money bags was hidding not the trail of strollers carrying snooty nosed kids too rez for this city. We'd at least stay at the forks to spend our celebration money and not rush to dollarama or giant tiger with our cheap little earnings.
Lots going on. Great restaurants.
The forks is amazing One my favorite places to go. Great food. Lost if things to do ,see and listen to. Often will go in and enjoy some food or drink and listen to a singer or musician play

A beautiful place out there.
Nice park. Fantastic environment. Don't miss the star gazing area.
Such a great place to spend a couple of hours! Everything you could need in terms of a shopping center, beautiful new washrooms and lots of local Winnipeg goodies!
Great meeting place with lots of food vendors and shops
A must see if your visiting a whole day of history and entertainment. If its winter all the better skate the trails on the river .
(Translated) Very nice place where we can enjoy the outdoors while being in the city (Original) Très bel endroit ou l'on peu profiter du plein air tout en étant en pleine ville
Beautiful place
Amazing job done with the ice castle show. Well laid out and easily navigated. Fire pits ideally located. Families slide was well set. A+ grading. Well worth the price paid.
Beautiful place to go and walk alone or with the family and enjoy the views.
Very good historic place to visit with family just within the heart of the city.
A winnipeg must and historic site. Lots of modernization mixed with the history of winnipeg’s forks. Used to serve as a trading post as it is where the two rivers met (the forks) Lots to do year round Variety of restaurants in which each one has a specialty on its own. Great art, music and atmosphere whether day or night there’s always something to do. Licensed to have drinks outdoors and on the sand banks facing the river. From small bites to meals, snacks to desserts. Shopping is not as extensive as the past but has expanded and renovated in ways that bring the forks to a viable place for socialization. Outdoor bar and indoor.
The Forks National Historic Site is the heart of Canada. It is where the Two Rivers Meet. It has a unique history in which unites us all. It encompasses what a diverse beautiful world we have and how Canada should be proud of who we are and how we except everyone.
It was wonderful

Absolutely wonderful! The only thing that I can say is that I have a good time in the world and I think it is because of the forks! I was just thinking about going back! You should definitely check this place out you will not be disappointed with the place! I have spent such a long time there I might as well live there. And one last thing, the place at night is absolutely stunning and very beautiful in this city.
Great place for family activities
Beautiful historic place with many activities
Nice place. I go there every week to relax.
Awesome place!
Nice place
I like walking around
I really enjoyed the view to the Prairie Dogs land, their sounds made this place peaceful even though is not, interesting art and sculptures. I heard that this place is one of the favorites for people who lives on Winnipeg. The Forks also have variety of food and a nice outdoor seating area.
The Forks is a MUST SEE for all visitors to Winnipeg. A meeting place for thousands of years became a defunct rail yard until the 1970s. Today, The Forks is once again a MEETING PLACE. There is The Johnston Terminal, with galleries, a popular toy store and a new age bicycle shop. It also houses The Spaghetti Factory restaurant, a coffee bar and an enormous antique shop in the basement. The Forks Market has recently gone through a re-birth with McNally Robinson Booksellers, and a new reading and relaxation area on the second floor. The food court in the center of the Forks Market building now houses The Commons, a licensed food and drink area, featuring several local beers on tap, and new, exciting food venues. The Manitoba Children's Museum remains a favourite spot for children's parties, school programs, holiday camps etc. The Inn at the Forks is a high-end boutique hotel with rooms and suites, meeting and event rooms, Smith Restaurant and Bar and Riverstons Spa. The Canadian Museum for Human Rights draws you in at the entrance to The Forks, with its glass Cloud side, its Limestone Rocky Mountain face and its Izzy Asper Peace Tower. The Forks welcomes visitors to Festival du Voyageur, Canada Celebrations and more. The Odina Circle is an outdoor venue for Pow Wows and other Aboriginal celebrations.
Safe place for family fun...
Ice castle was a wonderful to see.. so much time and effort to create a beautiful ice castle. Well worth the cost of admission.
The ice castle's were very nice.
(Translated) The place is very nice and if you go in the area do not hesitate to visit, whether for the landscape, a romantic walk or find little things to eat in the area there will surely be a good reason for go there and take some pictures as a souvenir!
Great place to visit
I go with my 2 and 4ur old. The playground has been blocked off for updates for years, which is annoying for this mom who has to active kids. They do love the splash pad but that opens later this year????. Food is amazing inside though.
Ice castles are good place to go in winters in winnipeg. Artistic build-up of castle with lights and fountains. A good ice slide for kids
It we sin the early afternoon, I was only there for a shirt walk and well everything was covered on snow. I'm sure it's beautiful in better weather.
Fun!
Very cool place
Beautiful place
There is a river that passes through the city’s downtown
The Forks Historical Site has a lot to offer. There is a market place, several restaurants, walking paths (e.g., Assiniboine Riverwalk), a Children’s Museum, a “Theatre for Young People”, hotel (i.e., “Inn at the Forks”), skate park, the Canadian Museum of Human Rights, Oodena Celebration Circle, and many other points of interest. The area hosts a variety of things including Canada Day and various other events throughout the year. In the winter, you can rent ice skates to skate on the adjacent river (and on parts of the iced paths nearby).
(Translated) Good times we spent there, the park, the market .... A nice place (Original) De bons moments nous y avons passé, le parc, le marché.... Un bel endroit
Its a great place, lots to see and great shopping
Best place to go skating
Went on the 6000 years in 60 minutes tour as part of a visit to the site. This tour was enjoyable and a whistle stop ride through history. The site itself is not really very traditional these days and more overrun with children's parks as well as old railway infrastructure.
Beautiful place. Full of history. Great to bring kids.
Great place to eat, shop, sight see, play & relax.
What a beautiful place! The improvements made to the forks, in the past 10 years really shows!
Nice olace to walk around and enjoy the city
A little dull, dead worms from the heat. I also hear the museum of human rights was built by immigrants for very low wages.. some would call it, ironically slave labour.
Lots to see.
Great place to go for the afternoon
Not so much a national park rather a shopping district in the downtown of Winnipeg.
Great place to bring your family! The market, theatre, children's museum among several other things including a great playground for young children!
Forks is great - you shouldn't have to pay to park here ????
Great spot to bring folks from out of town! Lovely renovations make for a warm and comfortable environment. Fun in all seasons :)
Went and spent the day at the Indigenous day there. HAD A GREAT DAY. The day was hot. Had great food and drinks there.
There isn't much to do in Winnipeg but an afternoon to the forks always helps to life the boredom. there is always something fun and interactive going on
Very interesting place. Shopping and lots of outdoor space to walk and bike and sit and enjoy the outdoors
Beautiful place
