I love bringing my dog to this dog park. Lots of room to run and play and most humans pick up their dog's doodoo. This is my Luna. She's made freinds with Mia and Chase, Riley, and so many other friendly dogs. Bring water, and mosquito and tick spray..just in case.

Optimist Memorial Park is well kept and spacious. The Optimist community center is right beside it seperated by a field and a parking lot. There are bathrooms located nearby and in the Optimist center as well. There is a dog park nearby and I have frequently seen dogs without a leash wandering about with owners no where to be seen. I do enjoy going there with my younger sister and friends, and would recommend it so long as there is adult supervision.

Best dog park ever. Not from the area but best we ever found. Separated sides for large dogs and small dogs. Filled with mature beautiful trees and blue Jay's everywhere. The side for large dogs looked huuuuuuuge. We were on small dog side :) Beautiful. Great park to do a nice walk too

Large park..natural treed environment. Has two dog parks within. One for small dogs and one for large dogs. A lot of neighbourhood people attend. Not great after a heavy rainfall if transporting dog in vehicle due to lots of Mudd after it rains

Best dog park in the city, largest square footage, biggest trees and even a wooded area. Gets pretty muddy after a big rain but otherwise its pretty dry in most areas. A good community of regular folks and Thier dogs also frequent this park.

The dog park is very shady excellent for hot dry days with your dog. Big or small. Very large dog park. But if it has rained it becomes almost a swamp. Everyone is extremely friendly and so much going on. Library, jungle gym, baseball, community centre, washrooms. A great place to also pay respects to those who faught for our country.

Park is generally under water the trails poorly groomed and full of mosquitoes. Playground is not accessible. No place but the road to walk on from Gladstone side. The geen area is full of fallen limbs and is a fall hazard. ????

Optimist Memorial park is great, especially because it is right down the street from me The park has, a doggy park, a children's playground, two baseball diamonds, a recreational facility and a brand new library. The park also has trails for biking or running. All in all a beautiful park with lots of room for kid's to play, and adults too!!!

One of the best parks in the city, with a fantastic community centre, and a dog park to boot. The staff at the Community Centre are all amazing, and the facilities were recently expanded. There is a small hill, great playground equipment, and some forested area with trails.
