Nice hotel. Starting to show its age. Rooms need updating. When we stayed here only 1 of 3 elevators were working. We were staying on the 20th floor, so you could imagine what a headache it was to get from ground level to our room and vice versa. Kind of absurd that management couldn't call an elevator company to get them going. There are nicer places to stay in Windsor.

The river view was great! Unfortunately, the hotel was dated, the lobby smelled like sewage (seriously two days in a row), you could feel the springs in the king bed, all amenities/services have been suspended "because of COVID". If you can book elsewhere with a comparable view of the river, do it.

The great staff compensate for the aging facility. The building, rooms, and decor are showing their age though renovations are under way. Meanwhile the staff are amazing and go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. Though dated, the place is clean and well maintained. The view from my suite was spectacular and the breakfast bar was excellent. Price was quite reasonable all things considered, and overall this is an easy to recommend hotel.

Beautiful place with lovely waterfront view ... not quite to taste with the carpet, looks a bit dusty. Also we had only one small bar soap. Would be nice to have an extra one for hand washing rather than use same already used for bathing. Had a free grab and go breakfast which was great.

Disappointed to compare the actual room condition with the pictures on their website; ceiling has cracks, rust on wash room shelves, dirty sheets on bed, cooling system fan not controlling by the system. Spent night in discomfort of hot temperature as cooling was not allow to set fan or temp down below 21. Truly not livable condition in this COVID time will not recommend. Only Star goes for staff who argued to see my ID which is good to allow only those who are legit booking holders to check in.

View & location is great and staff was very friendly. Rooms & amenities were excellent although some of the outlets in our room did not work consistently, including the provided alarm clock. Accommodations in the eating area could be improved; the amount of people scavenging seats for breakfast was higher than available seats (we ate with plates in our laps in the lounge style chairs.) Overall still very positive experience.

Horrible and challenging check in experience. Hotel would not honour a price that was booked through one of their third party systems. Manager, Karim, was not friendly, impatient and uncooperative. Was not impressed with questions being asked multiple times to try and understand the situation and the options we were being provided. We were also told that we were given the best rate if we decided to stay with them for the duration we had booked yet when you go online the price offered was $100 cheaper than he provided us with. Will not be staying with this hotel again should we ever be back in the area. Will also make sure that others who think about booking at this hotel are aware of our experience which did not make our stay enjoyable.

Make sure to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ when booking your resort. This site will compare thousands of booking websites and normally will have prices a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later! This hotel is one of my favorites in this area. I have been staying here for a very long time. If you decide to stay here you definitely won't be let down. Great staff. Was very accommodating. Left a really expensive head set in the room after check out. They found it and helped get it back to me. Best hotel in Windsor.

Staff was unaccomplished and seemed to be untrained! Lamp was broken, sheets had blood on them and no parking. Also there was a huge burn in the rug from a iron in the middle of the room.

Still nice hotel, wonderful view on Detroit and under renovations, new elevators etc.

Service desk in the evening was rude and not accommodating, room was mediocre and overcharged solely based on the view, nothing else. The worrrsst mattress to ever sleep on, very uncomfortable stay, never again ✌

Great room with a nice (although limited) view of the waterfront. Bed was great, bathroom a little dated, but clean. Breakfast was a bit convoluted, considering COVID restrictions and the volume of people bringing their kids to school. Would stay again, especially if I had more time to explore the waterfront.

Awesome stay amidst the pandemic. Make sure to book a river view room and enjoy the amazing picturesque of the Detroit River. Breakfast is unlimited, and it’s grab and go. Just one complain though is that they don’t have microwave in their rooms, you have to go to the lobby if you need to heat/warm your food. And one of their elevators during our stay wasn’t working, which made guests to wait for a long time.

Hotel itself needs some updating. Beds are comfortable. Not enough bathroom lighting or mirror or desk for makeup. Room is a bit cramped because of the desk (can barely squeeze through). It's quiet, water pressure is good. Parking is $15 a day. Stephanie at the front desk was very kind and helpful!

Very much a let down.The customer service put my wrong date for our stay and the hotel charged me for a no show when I showed up the following weekend .No apologies did reimbursed for wrong dates but increased the cost for the right dates instead of giving the original price.The manager was not nice treated us as of it was our doing when it was his staff that did not book properly.Would not go back very dissappointed

Easy online booking but the man would not take my Visa card and I have used it at many many many hotels and best westerns. That was a huge pain in the middle of the night after driving 10 hrs and they basically sent me away with a booking online. 0 stars

Tidy, clean and comfortable place to settle down of your are visiting Windsor. The river view was beautiful.

Check-in and out was seamless. There were only 2 out of 3 elevators working, so most of the time we ended up waiting in line during busy times. Upon arriving to our room, the key reader wouldn't work, I had to call down twice before a manager was sent up only to show us we had to swipe the card multiple times. The room was dated compared to what was shown in photos. The only good thing was getting a king bed when we had booked a queen. View was partial, but still okay. After settling in, we realized our remote was broken. After having to call down once again, someone came up to replace it. Having to park in a public garage across the street and paying $15/day was not ideal. At 7am on our last day, we had the maid trying to get in our room because front desk had made a mistake thinking we had already checked out. Breakfast was subpar, which we had figured it would be due to Covid. The coffee was horrible, no stir sticks or lids available. Would likely not stay here again.

Rooms are nice, the gym equipment is new and well maintained, and the free breakfast is one of the more than a simple continental. There have been issues with the elevators both times I've stayed and it's an inconvenience not knowing each morning if you'll wait a few minutes or 20 for an elevator. Otherwise, it's a nice place to stay.

Waterfront hotel with amazing views if you book a room with 'panoramic view'. My room had a full window that I could not see out of (needs to be replaced) which was annoying. Room amenities were scarce and even though I asked for a couple extra items including a microwave when I booked, I still had to ask again when I arrived as they were not in my room. I wasn't overly impressed with the cleanliness of the room as there were bits of paper and such on the floor. Surface areas appeared to be clean but hard to tell as everything is dated and a bit worn. I've stayed here twice this year mostly just for the views. Parking is usually in a garage across the street and costs $15 xtra per night. I'd stay here again, although not amazing by any means, staff are friendly & helpful plus the location is great for exploring Windsor in all directions.
