WATER WISE GARDENS
Located on 16 avenue (North Bluff) near 148 Street (Oxford ) South Surrey.
This particular Garden - Park is a very nice place to spend sometime just walking around the ponds.
Here you will find plenty of green areas to just relax. There is a walkway, which meanders all around the ponds and green areas and will continue to Southmere Village Park.
Upon arrival; first thing:
DO NOT FEET THE BIRDS.
PRACTICE SOCIAL DISTANCE.
The entire area has plenty of crows, ducks and geese, and all other birds.
The park or Garden is very well kept by the city of Surrey.
Although, the Garden is located near a busy road. Is indeed very quiet.
It has a few benches to sit down and contemplate life while watching the duckies on the pond.
You can bring your children, sandwiches, blankets (also, you might want to bring a small tarp to set under your blanket. There are many birds’ droppings here on the grass). And spend part of your day. The children will enjoy the geese and duckies on the pond. They look very cute. The crows are friendly.
Should you happened to be in need of a serious thinking to be done…this is your park to come by.
Also, you will be “walking which is very beneficial for ones constitution” (Jane Austin).
The flora around the ponds is very grown. There are some very toll trees. Overall, I know you will find it nice.
Not too many people come to this gardens… seems very safe during the day.
Wheelchair accessible. Street parking only. Read the street signs. Don’t’ get a ticket.
Have fun!
