Great location especially if you enjoy outdoor activities,walk along the beach or going to a restaurant etc..Room super comfortable ,clean quiet,laundry facilities on site very conveinant & clean.Disappointing part s of the stay was enquiring at front desk about the1bedroom suite/with balcony which was beside are room if it was available?In response from front desk person to our enquiry was told room not available and that the price per night per room was much more than ours.The concern wasnt the price it was the misleading information.We were there 4nights yet there was nobody staying in the 1bedroom suite beside us?Microwave would of been a plus as well.

Absolutely beautiful hotel with incredibly professional and friendly staff. We got the Jacuzzi room, which we have been told is the best room in the hotel and it really was as fantastic as they say. Beautiful view, lots of space, …

They upgraded us because their less expensive rooms filled so fast and there are 6 people in our travel party! The entire staff here has been amazing. We've been on the road for two full weeks. We've seen great hotels are garbage hotels and the very best of the best is right here: Ocean Promenade Hotel. The location is perfect. The rooms are clean and gorgeous. Everything in our rooms has been upgraded and kept up. We will definitely stay here the next time we come to Canada!

We booked a room with a balcony but there was no balcony just a window facing neighbours balcony which looks directly into our room, lol. Never felt so ripped off. Front staff was completely unhelpful.

Spacious rooms, fully equipped and very nice views. The only downside is the train that goes by several times a night. If you are a light sleeper like me, this can get annoying.

My husband and i stayed at the Ocean Promenade for our wedding anniversary last weekend. What a wonderful time! The room was spotless, the towels white and fluffy, comfy beds, spotlessly clean and fresh bedding. The front desk staff were so friendly and polite! We will 100% stay there again...only we will be bringing our car next time.. our truck was too tall to get in the underground parking! ????

I stayed here with my cat, and booked directly through the hotel rather than a third party. They do allow pets in designated rooms with a $15 charge per night. I paid with a debit card so they charged me with a $200 'sandwich' fee/hold which I have encountered before at other hotels. This was paid back to me minus the pet fee, when I checked out the next morning. My room was small, and was one of the 'b' rooms in the back. It seemed like a clean room but I felt like I could smell past pets that had stayed there, but I didn't mind too much. Decent soaps/shampoos and a deep tub. There was a small fridge (the empty kind to store things in) and a filter coffee maker, one pouch with caffeine, one decaf. sugar but no creamer. You could adjust the settings of the heater, which was an electric heater/air conditioner. Front desk staff I found to be polite, friendly and helpful. My room was small with no view, but some of the rooms looked quite big. I wasn't on holiday, rather staying there as I needed to and it was November and raining. May to October I would think it would be good to get a room with a view, and you have the beach right there. As I know the area, there are a couple of great fish and chip and coffee places a few shops away. No grocery shopping close by, you need to go uptown for that.

My entire family stayed here for a wedding in town and all of us were very disappointed. Don't get me wrong, the views were incredible, the cleanliness and the room set ups were great, it was the staff that we were very unhappy with. Make sure when booking to confirm multiple times what the cost is of your stay. Since we were with a wedding party we got an apparent "discount", meanwhile we went to made a fake booking and it was the exact same cost. The front desk told us three different costs between booking and checkout. But it doesn't end there, we were also bumped from them accidentally putting us in the bride and grooms room!!! The front desk was rude and short with everyone in our family, making us feel like we were annoying them, whether it was a quick question or someone needing a new room key. A family friends Sephora makeup items (the rest untouched) went missing after housekeeping arrived. I understand hiding valuable items but you shouldn't have to hide your makeup after every time you use it! We won't consider this as our accommodation again and will be looking for a more reliable and welcoming stay elsewhere in the future.

If you enjoy not sleeping stay here. From the loud hotel guests to the train that blows its horn all night you will not get a minute of rest. Read the multiple reviews of disappointed customers who found bed bugs, pubic hairs, paid extra for a view of a wall, or the neighbors balcony next to your bedroom, and the list goes on. Plus the vending machine will double charge you. Don't expect any help from the manager. He will go out of his way to ignore you or blame you for their lack of care or interest in you experience. Save money for the $20 parking fee too.

Rooms are clean. Service is great and just minutes you are walking along the beach.

The bathroom lights flickered for about 5 seconds before actually turning on which was awful for my eyes first thing in the morning. The bathroom was also very small. The shower water pressure was not very good either. There was also no comforter on bed.

We have stayed before. So we knew what to expect. Everything was great, beds were comfy, everything was clean, staff friendly and efficient. We had the 2 bedroom with kitchen and such. We were a group of 5 adults. We could have added 3 more. It was also great to be able to entertain some family that live in White Rock. No complaints. We will always stay here when we are in the area. The hotel is right across the street from the beach and ocean.

We've been frequenting this hotel for many years while visiting family in White Rock. The newly renovated super clean rooms have restored this hotel to its former glory. The location is fabulous and the staff is friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel 100 percent!

Awesome view, just right across the beach. Location works well if you are also planning to cross the border as it is very close to the peace ark... The restaurant below is also good.

We always book very early, book with the front desk, pay extra to ensure a view room and have never been disappointed. It is a bargain for a beach view room. This is not a chain hotel. The only reason I don't give it five stars relates to, of all things, the location. The touristy part of town is almost a mile north and parking there is limited. This is a place where Canadians go for a good time. We love it and the hotel is a good part of the reason. Of course it's not a Hilton resort! And I love it for that.

The king suite with kitchenette was great! Loved the fireplace, balcony, kitchenette and heated floors in the bathroom. Bed was extremely comfortable! Staff was friendly. Location was very good-close to the water and lots of places to walk to. We asked for a quiet room, which was good as there is a train that comes by often enough. It would have been horribly loud if we were in the front of the hotel, versus the side. We still had a partial view of the ocean. Covered parking-at a price, but worth it. Will stay here again!

Hotel is fantastic and I would recommend that anyone wanting to stay in the White Rock area must book this beautiful hotel. Rooms are very clean and the staff are exceptional. Thanks for always making my stay comfortable and enjoyable.

I don't even want to give it one star. It deserves none. The worst hotel i have ever been to. Customer service is horrific. It literally smelled like burning fire - we were scared to stay and they refused to refund our money. Also people were smoking in their rooms and I have Heath issues - they still wouldn't refund our night. We never did stay at the hotel - left that night and will never see it again!!
