Lot of fun. Beautiful view of the Ocean Ambleside

Parking is difficult on nice days but a beautiful beach and view. Some picnic table, bocce ball area, grassy area and of course great beach.

Pooja Kotian

Clean and peaceful beach ⛱ Amazing to go for a swim!

albert kwan

Great old memories here. As another point of interest in Vancouver, I would recommend coming here for a different perspective of our city. There's a beach with kids playground and concession stands /restaurant. Plenty to do here with sports fields for baseball, soccer, field hockey and tennis courts.

SPOKIE141

Carmen is an excellent realtor and I would like to advice anyone who is looking for a great and trust worthy realtor ,to use her service. She took a great load of my mind when I was dealing with her and I am very happy with my lovely Condo. Sophie Clarke

Perfect combination of beach and park. Great for an afternoon fun

Wei Ye

Back again when cherry blossom blossoming, never tired of the sea and view here.

Zinnet Omidvar

Beautiful park and beach. There is something for everyone to do even dogs. There is a separate dog park, kids park, soccer field, picnic areas, beach, volleyball nets, lake, ocean, river...Just walk around, watch the view. Gorgeous.

David H

Great place with views of the Lions Gate Bridge and Stanley Park. Also has a great off leash dog park (maybe the best in the city)

Shay Matters

Fantastic dog beach. Great views and more parking than expected.

Peter Laing

Raw, Vibrant, Elegant! This place has it all... A beach that pulses with the flow of the tides and natural cycles. An outlook on international commerce witnessed by intriguing ship traffic. And the exclusive feeling of West Van success.

Gestler Mendoza

Love this beach plenty of space to social distance. Lots of activities for kids , close to restaurants and Park Royal

Sarah Emily

One of the best places on the North Shore to get a good view of the Lions Gate Bridge. Beautiful beach with lots of space to walk around in. Within walking distance of Park Royal mall as well. Great spot overall.

Nara Yang

What a wonderful place for families and dogs! Ideal for a weekend picnic or sunbathing. Clean and plenty of areas to enjoy the views.

Gregoz Gawronski

Ambleside Park in West Vancouver is the most beautiful dog park you can imagine. Plenty of space for dogs, astonishing views of the sunsets, unobstructed view of the mounatains, Stanley Park and Vancouver's downtown.

Luigi Costantini

Went a couple of friends and thats special someone on Christmas day it was pretty kool seeing it all covered with know and it was quite which was nice ????and great scenery too would definitely come back here again ????

Jonathan Freeman

Great place for a walk with your fury friend. On a nice day there will be lots of dogs and owners out enjoying the park and scenery. The views of down town, Stanley park and the Lions gate bridge are very impressive. Parking can be tough on busy summer days so we always park at Park Royal and walk through the trail (makes for a longer walk too).

fabrizio

Ambleside Park is a good place where spending some spare time. You can enjoy of an amazing view of Stanley Park and the Lions Gate. Nace and large beach where play with your dogs or just relaxing under the sun. If u have kids there are also a big and assorted play ground and a skateboard track.

Leanne Taylor

The Ambelside off leash dog park is a perfect venue for dog-owners to bring their canines for running, playing and swimming - in the open fields or on the beach. I have been coming here for years! Always lots of friendly dog owners to chat with and dogs for your pooch to play with. There are poop bags and red poop disposal bins at each end of the walk but no fresh water so be sure to bring your own.

ethan horner

It's a beautiful beach with a skate park aswell as a dog park. Perfect for nice relaxing walks or a fun day with the kids or friends. Sadly most people dont abide by the mask wearing in public common sense rule so that sucks.

Mark Giesbrecht

This is quite the park. Beach, multiple fields for sports, walking path along the shore, skatepark, playground and concession stand. Paddle board rentals were available at the beach. A perfect place for a picnic with a large family.

Arnaud Guanco

Love the waters and the beach feel. Just way too crowded and busy.

behzad asadpour

Beautiful beach, nice view, sunny and clean. A little windy

MANBIR RANDHAWA

Why wouldn’t i give anything less than 5 stars to this side of west Vancouver. ???? this place has little bit of everything. Lets begin; Courts to play games- Yes! First of all there are tennis courts, football court, hockey court n few more stretching out on all long road that leads to the entrance of the park. Park with greenery spread along the pedestrian pathway to walk n to cycle( two separated lanes ) - But let me tell ya , its not your regular park. In fact the whole edge of the beach has green pastures spread to small little gardens along the walking pathway. Its dog friendly. I would say regular dogs are buddies to each other n they enjoy beach too as i saw many of them in groups playing with each other. (Another adorable sight apart from the horizon of ocean) Residential property along with shops to eat or to purchase beachside munchies- many different places to grab a bite are walking distance here. Nice restaurants like carmelo restaurante , chef michel are pretty close by too. Very busy whole time but especially summers. Washrooms and beach side shop to purchase food are on the beach stretch which is gravel going down n then gets sandy along the water waves. Bring your food, get a chair or spread a mat n just enjoy the sun. Maybe plan a beach workout or making sand castles and just come , visit here yelpers n non yelpers. Yes u can play beach volleyball at non- covid times.

Tay Cun

Beautiful beach with nice green space. It is sourrounded by some beautiful new structures & restaurants. Parking may be difficult but definitely worth spending the day

Merle Wesley

Great place to watch a sunset, strolling abouts and visiting the many shops! Yes you will definitely have a great feeling looking at all your eyes can handle!! Beautiful and families always welcome!!

David Muscat

This is not a quiet sedentary spot. Rather like a Cirque performance you will not know where to look. Panoramic views, roaming friendly dogs in pooch area and a continuous array of people battling for your attention. But don't fret. Lots of secluded out of the way for those inclined for more medative activities.

elahe tavakol

Great view of downtown Vancouver The parking lot is always busy, you will have better chance to find parking later in days There is playground, basketball ground and skating

Brad C

Very nice area. Quiet, lots of room. Nice to come and simply stare out into the water. A little pond hidden in the middle with wildlife. Dog friendly beach.

Andres Flores

I love the doggy beach. I bring my BF every time I can. They can swim and run. You can tell their happiness in that place ????

Chee’en Young

Close to both north and west Vancouver, lots of parking, and the best place to take pictures of lions bridge.

Anneke Rotmeyer

Spent an hour cleaning up the beach. A beautiful treasure. Wish people were more respectful.

T Sheinin

Early in the morning is the best time to go, so peaceful!

Lisa Gimenez

Nice breeze, good vibe & love watching the float planes above & the sailboats on the water.

Rae Chel

Very nice long stretch of walk ways along the beach. Has a very nice new modern play structure for the kids. Near ample parking and a small cafe market with a decent public rest room. Noticed they have a changing facility within the restroom and a shower station near by from the beach.

Cez Revilla

Highly recommended. If you want to have a alone time, you can sit on the one of many logs along the beach or just simply sit on the sand and daydream. If you have kids, there's a playground, tables and benches for little picnics, a skateboarding place, a pond to watch duckies and seagulls and crows swarming around.

Joy Hoskin

A cute and popular sandy beach park in the city... wheelchair accessible. Nice logs and benches to sit on. The ocean view with sailboats and further out, ships.

shiva ghorbani

Best place if u have a dog. Take them there, them and you going to enjoy the whole day ????????

nancy mahay

Long trails for running and walking. There is a small parks for kids and trails are pets friendly.

Tony

Great walking lanes along the water. Amazing view of the Lions Gate bridge. Fun for the family and the dogs.

Daniela Restrepo Roldan

I can definitely say is one of my favourites beaches/parks in Vancouver. The view is impressive and during the summer days the water have an amazing color, made me feel I was in another city!

Mixed Breed (TerriC)

Great go to for all ages. Beach front park with so many amenities either in the park or close. Including: pond, playground, picnic areas, doggie play area, water park, beach, walking paths, canoe/kayak rental, fields and concession(s). Park Royal is close by as is a great little village.

Gabriel Knepper Mendes

Such a peaceful place to catch some sunlight during the spring...

Kyle Ducholke

Love this park, easy to find parking on weekdays, a little harder on weekends, picnic tables, benches and grass to toss a blanket down for some seating. A beautiful paved walking path along the shore, and a boardwalk out to the sea with a float and access to the ocean. Great place to come for a stroll and watch the ships enter and exit Vancouver harbour.

Darkvalley 8

Ambleside is a nice little beach in West Van. It is good for a little get away right inside the city, but nature has been disturbed too much there. Litter is everywhere. There is a beach side restaurant there called the Boat House. I like it a lot. Very nice service and yummy food. You can eat on the patio or they have a take out window.

Karen Van Gramberg

I love coming to Ambleside Park, I love that it has a walking path, Excellent unleashed dog park, Skate park, Basketball court, The Seaside Cafe, Public Washroom, Beach Volleyball. You can rent kayaks, Paddle Board or play Games/Sports on the grassed area or just relax and read a book or have a family picnic. There's also markets on certain days. It's fun for the whole family. There's also people watching or laying on the beach and soaking up the views. Everytime I'm in town from Sydney, Australia I come here- lots of fond high school memories.

Peter Jokan

Wonderful off leash park. Fantastic view to the Stanley Park and to the Vancouver skyline. If you are lucky you can spot some sea lions in the water or even on the beach.

Viny Kurniawan

It's not so popular but I love it! I can walk or sit for hours there. It also has Ambleside Farmers Market on the other side, near parking area. All the goods are fresh & the people behind the stands are friendly too. A recommended beach park to visit.

Mike Stewart

Beautiful park. Particularly good for watching sunsets

Edwin Nathaniel

Decent place. The view was ok. Half of the beach is rocky instead of nice sand. The playground is small. Less variety of foods. Parking is not well organized. Overall: meh

Rashmi Bakker

Very good beach, lots of swings and attractions to watch

Rahat Khanna (mappmechanic)

This is an amazing and beautiful cafe restaurant located literally on the beach. This is super convenient to visit and there is plenty of free parking also. The best and unique thing about this place I found was the covered outside tables with transparent cover which would be perfect during the cold and chilly weather. A must visit place when you come towards west Vancouver.

꧁sʇuʌɹϽ ᴉuoꓕ꧂

I like Ambleside Park. Even when it is cloudy, it is busy. There are people walking, jogging, families, dogs, etc. There is a lovely beach stretch that has sand instead of gravel or pebbles and people can walk around barefooted. However, the water is either cold or freezing ????. It can be windy ????. There are many things to see and explore around. I would recommend to visit ????

Translinkboy

The waters and the views are amazing there's a nice fish and chips restaurant nearby too, very nice for swimming on a really hot day I just advise everyone to bring sunscreen because I got badly burnt on Wednesday when I went also careful about where you step on the sand because the sand is very hot

Little Fluff

Lovely beach with washrooms play park and seating and a great beach side restaurant. Lots of parking too and didn't feel crowded

jinky TravelDiaries

I enjoy walking here everyday. Perfect place for sunset ❤️❤️

Nic Cheng

Nice beach sidewalks, kids playground as well, doggy can run along. Too lucky I can viewed the full cherry blossoms ????, super nice, very FULL of ????????????????.

M. Herrn

Appreciated by locals and tourists alike. Beautiful view.

Shane Reid

With the exception of some litter, the park was quite beautiful. Seeing used bandages on the dock was a little off-putting.

Leo Augusto

Sports courts, skatepark, picnic areas, beautiful sandy beach, all very clean and well maintained. The pedestrian pathway (seawalk) to Dundarave and other beaches has many art installations and gardens, and good views of the Lions Gate Bridge and Stanley Park. It also has plenty of parking space and easy access to public transit on Marine Dr.

Michael Henderson

I live this park. I've been going here since I was a young teen.

Sophie Lussier

Love walking by the water, trail is large so even if it is busy, you have room to walk. Never get enough of the Sea Walk.

Justin Charles Wong

My go to park in West Van, great for walks and picnics. Definitely stop by and check out the dog park, sea wall, and pier ????

Florjan Gjolaj

Gorgeous sandy dog park. Rated 4 stars because it is pretty small. Good spot for swimming, gets relatively deep quick.

Ashley Watts

This beach is a natural beauty with logs to relax against and views of both the sea and sky. The one star missing is because I feel there should be more restrooms than what's provided.

Willow Dawn

Everyone should get away to see and walk the beach at Ambleside..beautiful inclusive place to participate in sports, share a group or family day and walk the beach; sooo enjoyable.

Holly Comeau

What a wonderful relaxing visit. I walked from Park Royal along the paved path along the dog park, walked around the duck pond. I took pictures of a momma Mallard and her little ones. Beautiful view of Lions Gate bridge, Look Out point in Stanley Park and the beach.

Casey Byrne

Lovely spot! Haven't swam here yet but definitely a nice area for a walk along the beach or just sitting on the sand. Love the dog section. This beach is a little busy because of the restaurant, the skatepark, the public washrooms, etc but it's still really nice. Also the little pond area is cute and quiet.

Andrew Jonathan

Ambleside’s got the best sunset swimming on the shore. Highly recommended taking your next tinder date for a bevy down to the beach for a cheeky dip.????

R

Nice beach and it's not very busy. Good for shell hunting. Maybe wear water shoes as it's a bit rocky.

GritGuide 604

So much to do and views to take in. Seems a beautiful long stretch of a beach with quick access to restaurant Dog Friendly and an absolutely fun playground for the kids.

Lherie Minnella

Very nice, I love it. Lots of things to do for the whole family. We had a great time. I felt like I was back home.

Brianna Huber

Gorgeous beach and walking paths

Jason Strauss

Public Restrooms. Off-leash dog park area on the beach. Views of the Lions Gate Bridge. Path to Park Royal mall and its parking lot. Water tap - outdoor - for filling water jugs and dog water bowls. No overnight parking.

Alex

Such a great spot for adults & kids, safe fun parks all around, and a cool beach from restaurant

Jocee Rchrd

This is a beautiful beach. It can be busy for parking. We find beach was not crowded and close to water. I suggest if you don't mind a short walk then park by Park Royal Mall and walk to beach.

Nicholas White (Coach)

All parks in Vancouver are truly glorious. The only unfortunate problem you may or may not see is homelessness and drug abusers

Sara W

Great place to have a walk, wether long or short, jogging or running, along the seaside, it is very refreshing.

Daniel Díaz

Nice and cozy beach, great view from here to the Stanley park, the Lionsgate Bridge and the open sea.

Rozmin A

Herons, crab, starfish, ducks, pigeons, seagulls and a seal all seen in 1 day. Lovely and not too crowded early morning.

Barry Price

Always a pleasant walk, along the sand, al9ng the dog park, or around the duck pond, or even a lunch or beverage at the concessions and watching the harbour

ailish chauhan

Really nice view at night and plenty of parking for anyone to enjoy. There is police there patrolling for safety of course but just be mindful of that. It is secluded and quite also has a beach next to it so pretty nice but food locations might not be th closest.

James Seaton

Went for a quiet walk by myself round there in the morning. Such a picturesque setting, and I spotted at least seven herons hanging out in the trees.

Cynthia McIvor

Love that there is an Off-Leash Dog Park ???? ????. Our dog enjoys chasing her ball & swimming in the water ????. The views are also gorgeous!

Mark V. Sinclair

Ambleside Park, including the spectacular Beach, is located at the foot of 13th Street at Argyle Avenue. World-class green playing fields for Soccer & Field Hockey, as well as Baseball diamond and Pitch-and-Put Golf Course overlooking a large bucolic duck-pond so enjoyable in Spring & Summer. Ambleside also boasts a Basketball court & landacaped Skate Park, cafe & concession, and it marks the beginning of the approximately 2-mile Centennial Sea Walk along the densely scenic West Van harbour-front to Dundarave Pier. Also a venue of major community festivals, including Harmony Arts (August), Coho Salmon (late September), and the Persian Nooroz (New Year's) Celebration at the Spring Equinox, Ambleside Park is not to be missed especially during Spring and Summer visits to the Northshore.

Allan Bernard Fernandez

A great beach and park to take the family with ample and accessible parking for families that have small children and elderly companions. The local park administration does an amazing job keeping the park clean and well maintained.

Philip Gibney

Great beach views, plenty of field space, playground, skate park, dog park, pitch and putt, work out bars.. What more could you want

Chris Huggins

Great place to walk for the family - with a large off leash area, and a nice little farmers market on the weekend.

ian hunt

A nice spot to contemplate the meaning of life.

Carina Kwok

The playground is so big with tons of things to climb on, over, under, and through. There's a pirate ship set in sand with a nearby dolphin seat and "driftwood" to balance on. A disc swing, a hammock, a roller slide, balance platform, seesaw, and multiple climbing structures. Surfacing is wood chips and sand in separate areas.

TheDoubleyou

It's a nice place to hangout, to walk near the Vancouver downtown if you don't have a full day to do any activities in the area

Edible Pipis

Nice place , the view is amazing and a great space to unleash your dog ! Also, you can find a farmers market and a trail to ride your bike. Sunday maybe is a little crowded but you can’t miss the sunset in this spot .

Nelson

Fantastic place to bring your puppers on a summer day. Just wish it was a little bigger

LANMonkey GC

A beautiful park with kilometers of paved walkways and a variety of art and history to see. Well worth the time to visit and explore with the whole family. If you are brings dog note that there are special access restrictions for the dogs (a dog run parallel to the walkway)

Greg T.

Haven't been in this area for years. We were in neighborhood after our kids soccer game at nearby Ambleside Turf Field F and decided to have lunch in this area. There's lots of shops, restaurants, walking path and of course, there's the Ambleside beach, view of Stanley Park and First Narrow bridge from the West Van.

Ghreza mohammady

Parking: available Pet: friendly Family : friendly View: perfect Clean: full mark

Sleder Sledmeister

A very relaxed neighborhood to live in. Everything I need is close and easy to access. Literally hundreds of great spots to spend the day with the family barbecuing laughing and the kids playing beach side on the shore and in the water The best.

H34RTL3SS

Came here around noon and didn’t leave til after dark. The beach looks out across to the south east & west and there’s a view of the Lions Gate bridge and Stanley park. Traffic can get congested at sundown as everyone’s travelling home so be mindful of that but overall it’s very easy to get around and there’s lots of parking (free & paid). Lots of restaurants nearby and a mall a couple minutes east of the beachfront. :) <3

Kirk Chantraine

Beautiful park that is often host to special events. Great view of Stanley Park.

Amr Amin

Lovely magic place .. The sunset was unbelievable...

Hadi's Entertainment

It was really pleasant, nice scenery to Stanley park and stanley bridge, great for walking and jogging, I saw some people were fishing and had caught big lobsters, enough parking space and fancy restaurants there

Jo L

Best dog off-leash area! Other dog owners are responsible too! My dog had a great time. If you do come, be a responsible dog owner too and be proactive if your dog is not sociable to other dogs and keep them on leash if they are aggressive.

Robert Cole

Great park. Now that the boat shed is now open for food (which replaced the concession stand) this park has become too popular. Great place to start the spirit trail for a bike ride, good food, beach, and skate park. Lots of areas to picnic. Parking can be restrictive. Enjoy!

Stephanie Chan

Fun playground with amazing water view. Love to come here with my children.

Cam Fairbairn

It's beautiful and if you have a dog, it will be beyond happy (one of the nicer dog parks around).

50 What Now

Ambleside park is a great family beach and park area in west Vancouver. The park has a walkway along the beach with concessions and public washrooms. Lots of free parking in the area. Dog friendly area so you can bring your pooch along too.

Hannah Adam

One of the best beaches Vancouver has to offer. Great views and lovely sand! It's often busy but worthwhile. I go for walks along the sea walk most mornings, lovely walk, great spot for a run too!

Virginia Dee

Beautiful park with sand, seaside, playground, duck pond, golf course and grassy fields. Lovely spot for picnics. I love the doggy beach and walk along the sea wall to the mouth of Capilano River. Beautiful Squamish welcome figure to greet you.

Jacqueline Cullimore

One of our favourite beaches in Vancouver. Lots of grassy areas to sit and relax while watching the people go by on the sea walk. The sandy area is fantastic, with lots of logs and a great swimming area. Lots of nearby cafes and takeout places to bring your lunch or dinner to the beach. Highly recommend!

Jamila Janakiram

Beautiful and peaceful spot with tasty fries at the Boatshed and a whimsical wooden playground nearby.

Joseph Andrew

Great day for a walk

Calgary Explorer

Nice A real city park with ok parking, good beach with life guard, busy, golf course near by,

Jodine Morehouse

Very clean beach with gorgeous views - especially when the sun it setting. Definitely a go to if you’re in the area. They also have an off leash dog section.

Kathryn Anderson

Ambleside is great on a sunny day! Beach, playgrounds, walking trails. Be sure to play ahead though, as the parking can be limited during peak times and special events.

Richard Hammerton

It's a gritty beach with lots of debris not comfortable to sit on.. Nice views

Brian C Kerr

A family park where there are sports fields; park benches (in need of repair); paved walkway (also in need of repair); scenic beach front where one can go swimming, kite-surfing, kayaking); seasonal volleyball court on the beach; basketball court; skateboard park; casual dining/take-out restaurant; dedicated dog-park and a small par 3 golf course.

Katherina Cortes

Only 20 mins drive and we found parking on hot Sunday!! It wasn't overcrowded and the areas for the dogs are generous with beautiful views! Of course our 2 dogs couldn't get enough of the water. Amazing!!

Elbert Ro

Great place to bike to from downtown

Mitzi Sanchez

A nice spot for fishing and watching seals 10-15min away from downtown. A quiet place that will give you peace of mind and tranquility.

HS Madan

Went there for dinner with a view event. Dinner was really good. But there was no view at all. The view was blocked by the building and our dome was next to the public bathrooms at the park. So that part about the experience was not happy at all. Other then that we had a good time.

Samuel fDavid

Sun, overcast or rain, this park is an awesome place to come visit. Bring friends, family or your pets!

TC

Long ocean and river side walkway offering spectacular views with various parks, playing fields, concessions and outdoor restaurant. Designated dog park and cycling pathways, beaches, walking pier and washrooms. Also mini golf course and small boat sailing club.

Aayushi Shah

Beautiful and picturesque spot. Especially good for dog owners

Chad Nehring

Nice beach spot with great views of Stanley Park and the Lions Gate Bridge. Nice place to relax and watch the Harbour Air planes buzz past. Sandy beach, but a bit rocky down closer to the shore. Nice place to lay out and relax in the sun, with a decent amount of parking. Farmers market is down there on Sundays through the summer too.

CANADA ALENA IMMIGRATION TO CANADA

The best park in West Van! Accessible, pet friendly, people friendly :) ducks, birds friendly! Restaurants in walking distance, playground area, soccer fields etc

Kel Green

It's always good if you don't go too late. It's like really being at the ocean. Not like the downtown beaches. And you constantly see the ocean-going freightliners entering and leaving the harbour.

Mariel Llorente

Nice place to relax and enjoy nature!

Paul Ng

Easy walking next to the beach, a perfect view to the Lion Gates Bridge .

Tanya Ma

Great park. I usually park by Park Royal and walk down to the park. It’s a pet friendly spot and I love it (even though I don’t have any pets of my own). Incredible views: Lions gate bridge, Stanley park, a little bit of DT Vancouver. There is also a small lake with ducks. If you are lucky, you can find swans there too.

hooman nematolahi

A very nice place for walking. There is a leash free beach for dogs.

Jake Baby

If you haven't been you must go... great view. Awesome beach... it's a must

Theresina Tam

Nice Ambleside walk, soft sea breeze and very relaxing. Takes around 30 minutes to complete the walk. There is a very clean public washroom too. There are swings and slides for younger kids. A good relaxing place for the whole family to spend an afternoon

whiskey Adams

Great place to take the kids to. They have old school things like Tonka style backhoe mini diggers that most parks find too dangerous. Great seesaw that can hold a family of 6. Just a nice little park I enjoyed with my Neice and nephew. ( also the amazing view underneath the first narrows / Lionsgate bridge).I highly recommend for families

Tom Wales

Long walks right by the sea to enjoy the fresh air and wonderful sunsets. Awesome views from here of mountains and sea.

Sean Gimbel

Amazing beach. great park. beautiful views. Tons of amenities. Will go again for sure

Sherry Lu

Nice park! Great coastline! It’s a good place to go and relax during the weekends!

Robyn Charleston

Its a great place to walk and enjoy the salty ocean air

Dulce Ramirez

This is a place to spend the day with family or your couple. It's clean, it has an amazing view and If the weather is nice and clear it feels like having a picnic, going to the skatepark or just hang around the mall. It's quiet and clean and there are a few places to have lunch/dinner in case you want to enjoy a good meal. Good place to go!!

Alexandria Dunnewold

Beautiful views, dog park and dog beaches around past the golf course. It’s a wonderful place to take your fur friend and enjoy that cool ocean breeze

David McAdam

In the rain the soccer field held up very well, with true bounces. Area around the field was clean and drained well.

Kim Ghilarducci

Beautiful park! Gorgeous location across the water from Stanley Park. Great park for dogs and dog walkers

Marlene Philip

The seated area was packed with people enjoying music, dancing, having a beer or glass of wine, food, socializing & having fun. Grey job again Harmony Arts. Wonderful seeing many Vendors whom I've known from Granville Island Market. A Wonderful 2 weeks of great Artists

Lisa Z

Stunning park with beautiful views and friendly locals!

manish vaish

In Vancouver, I hadn't thought we gonna get a less crowded clean beach. Well, I was wrong. This is it! This one is beautiful. Checkout the pictures I shared. ????

Fortino V

This is a beautiful tranquil park. Unfortunately it has become a bit too busy.

Annaliza Gruber

Our favorite place to hang out as a family. This beach is beautiful. Water is clear, sands are fine, love walking barefooted. With the view of Lions gate Bridge, Stanley Park and other side of Vancouver, it is beautiful! Playground is a hit, not a massive one but so much to play for the kids. Lots of free parking but it gets really busy in the afternoon. It's worth visiting to unwind and relax.

Salma Bakr

One of the most interesting playgrounds I’ve seen in a long while, with such a cool variety of equipment. The enjoyable view hosts lots of ships, boats and parasails..

Benson Leung

Nice view and walk. I gave 4 stars due to their signage are confusing regarding dogs. You'll be the judge.

ANA danesh

Serene, peaceful, clean, accessible. Nature within the city and ideal for sunset and nature photography.

Gursewak Dulai

Amazing park. Such a great park to go chill out. We had a barbecue and made friends with our neighbors. It was amazing 10/10 would recommend.

Irshad Khan

It was a Sunny day with a some cool air coming in from the bay. This park has everything for all the ages: playarea for the young lot and a beach for the older ones.

Alexander Shcherbak

Good place to have a walk along the water, stop for a coffee, public washroom is a plus

Conner Preston

Very nice beach. Unfortunately there’s not much sand it’s more like rocks nowadays but great views of the Lions gate Bridge and sunsets.

John Morris

Great spot to walk and enjoy the weather! Sunsets are unbelievable!

Steve St. Pierre

We decided to head to a different beach as we normally check out "local" ones to us. Well I gotta say I'm glad we ended up in the opposite direction! Ambleside is very family oriented, very busy but still adequate spacing on the beach, parking was free for a few hours (enough time to check out the beach and a local stores) and it was clean. I'd definitely go ba k. The views were spectacular and you will notice some familiar landmarks like Stanley Park and the Lions Gate bridge. When we arrived the tide was out and we were able to go exploring. We saw starfish aplenty, a weasel, eagles, crabs (people were crabbing as well) and the water was just the right temp in this heatwave we've been experiencing.

pluralist always

Views while sitting on the beach in ambleside park

Efren Isonza

It's a complete park, with beautiful sunset to see.

Shawn balaghi

Ambleside Park is a place where you can enjoy a beautiful walk on the beach and dip your feet in the Pacific Ocean or have a picnic. There is a boardwalk where you can walk your dog and even a designated area where you can let your dog loose to run around and go for a swim in the ocean. There is a beautiful eatery with great quality food also. There are several basketball areas and often busy. For the golfing groups there is an amazing 9 hole short golf course also. Across the water sits the Amazing Stanley Park with views you can only see from Amleaide Park. I would highly recommend Ambleside Park

Bee W

Ambleside has a mix of everything: bball courts, green space, beach to chill with you and your dog or play vball with friends, rocky shoreline to explore with kids during low tide and a pretty cool new beach eatery that looks like it serves alcohol (yay!) and cool outdoor seats. I came here and had a picnic on the grass on the side of the parking lot. Only thing is it’s a dog zone so dogs are every where, just beware that many are not leashed. Also parking gets really bad after lunch time so plan accordingly!

dulce ramirez

Beautiful view and there's a skateboard park in front of the beach. Great place to go to hang out with friends and family, to have fun or just to think.
