This place is such a gem and it's completely free. The docs allow swimming and there's usually scuba divers here too. There is a place where you can rent paddle boards and kayaks to enjoy the canal. Or you can just come down and fish. There is a skate park at the entrance and near the back there are Adirondack chairs under some beautiful trees close to the canal. There are 24-hour public washrooms. There is a walking/biking trail that is paved. I just can't say enough about this place. I've been doing the van life for the last 2 months. I started coming here a month ago and I stay overnight quite frequently and I've never had a problem. The people are friendly. The water is very clear and quite warm. Amazing place.
