Great local park. Playground for the kids, baseball diamonds and soccer field for those who want to play sports, indoor public washrooms on site, attached to the Cantina pavillion that serves great food at affordable prices (burgers/fries/hotdogs/poutine/soft drinks/water/juice/freezies/popsicles). There is also a water fountain as well if i remember correctly... Not entirely sure what the Cantina hours of operation are, but the parks hours are pretty standard for the area, most (if not all) parks are closed from dusk til dawn, with the exception of days when local events, such as Canada Day are happening. The town of Pelham/Fonthill puts on a wide array of activities/festivities on Canada directly following their Canada Day Parade that proceeds down Haist st from Camboro rd, until it reached Harold Black Park. Usually starts around noon (parade). Activities vary from bouncy houses for the smaller kids, crafts for the older kids, sports activites, face painting/temp tattoos and a giant Canada Day cake (usually donated by Sobeys on hwy20) for everyone to share once everyone has arrived to sing "O'Canada" together (and Happy Birthday to anyone in attendance -usually children- who's birthday is that day!! (Those who's birthday it is also get to be in the picture for the newspaper and they get to cut the cake!). Then around 9:30-10pm everyone gathers around the baseball diamond stands (or anywhere you can find a spot to settle in and get comfortable) to watch the awesome fireworks display and finish off the days celebrations with a bang! It always a great show and the vollunteers do an absolutely outstanding job to make sure there's something for everyone, young and old ;) I would definitely reccomend attending any type of event or celebration at Harold Black park, or just go there with the kids/family/dog and enjoy the park!

Always love going to Harold Black Park. There are soccer fields of you wanted to play a game. There's 2 baseball diamonds. There's a nice playground for your kids to play. The park is easily accessed by following the Steve Bauer trail. There's public washrooms during daylight hours and there is a large outdoor parking lot which is free of charge.

Lots of bottles, and older kids who seem like their looking for trouble hang out there, but the park has lots to do, and has a trail along it. Along with a baseball diamond, soccer fields, and lots of space and parking.

very nice equipment with swings, slides, and even drums and bells. super soft astroturf to cushion falls. benches for sitting and shady spots under trees to get a break from the sun.

Great facility with alot of potential. Infield and Outfield could be rolled and the fences fixed and this would be an outstanding ball park. Lights would be a bonus and could get double header in there nightly. Bullpen - put in a plate and mound so fans know not to sit there and block pitchers warming up.
