Great place to walk my girls!!! Love it!

It was an amazing May Monday when I needed a good walk. I have huge joint pain issues and needed a level walkway. I drove from Langford to the Gorge and found a great handicapped parking space and grabbed my walking poles and headed west. Wonderful people full of "Good mornings" and many dogs. It's a beautifully paved path with plenty of benches available for my tried body. I could walk and stop. Stop and walk some more. I needed it and I'll be back...soon!

Beautiful spot for a variety of activities. There is always someone swimming, canoeing or strolling. The flower gardens are well maintained.

Moved to Victoria last last June and live just across Admirals bridge from this park. Took mom and aunt here for mothers day walk. It is strewn with many types of plants and follows the saltwater gorge closely for 2pm. A must see.

The Gorge Waterway is beautiful in any season, and especially beautiful when the flowers are blooming because there are many. The park on the south side of the waterway off Craigflower Rd. has trails, a Japanese Garden and parking off Sioux Pl. while construction is on.

A truely favorite place for me. One end is a paved boardwalk like spot, the other (below Tillicum) is a winding forested area, down to a rock point, as you watch canoes, smaller moater boats, kayaks, and even dragon boats! If your lucky, you might even see the rentable floating hot tub!!!

Great walkway. Absolutely outstanding horticulture! A bit more pretentious then Beacon Hill with dog walking. Beacon Hill knows and allows dogs of all stripes and walking off leash. It seems that the Gorge has more busy bodies that will complain and get vocal about dog rules etc. Beautiful amazing walk but if having fun with your dog is priority, I would hit Beacon Hill Park.

This has a beautiful walking path right along Gorge Water. It's a bit dicey after dark though - some stretches poorly lit, and there are often homeless hanging out there.

Very nice view as you walk. Trail is fairly flat so easy to walk for people with knee or back injuries. People I pass are always friendly and say hi. Nice that it has a washroom along the path as well.

Good place to enjoy morning or evening walks. In addition to that bench are installed at frequent distance to relax for a while. But at night it's whole lot of different place with serenity around to enjoy the peaceful environment.

It's a good, easy walk for a senior with a walker except for a few rough spots from tree roots. Nice view of the waterway and houses on the other side. Still people walking close to us without a care of potentially transmitting Covid-19.
