Really enjoyed this hotel. Quiet part of the city. Staff is really nice, location easy to find. Near transit lines and walkable. Room was very comfy.

The staff at front desk are very nice. The room was clean. No central A/C but there was a portable one in the room that worked pretty well. No sign to put on door either asking for (maid) service or not asking for service. I say this to preface the fact that we received no service. No refill on in-room coffee used (which maybe was a good thing as coffee was not good), no towel refresh. Our 2nd floor room looked over the parking lot. On plus side pool was nice.

I booked a room for daughter and her partner abd newborn to escape the heat. Unfortunately there was a very small, noisy air conditioner that did not really cool the room. It is terribly disappointing that they were really no more comfortable then at home. Lesson learned, ask what type of air conditioning they have. Other than that the room was clean and nice. Parking was annoying, not enough spaces for the number if guests.

I had the good fortune of staying at Chateau Victoria for a conference a few weeks ago. The room, lobby, and services were fantastic. The location cannot be beat, but far and away the best part about this hotel were the folks who worked there. Across the board they were friendly, and they bent over backwards to accommodate me. I told them the activities I was interested in and they worked out the logistics right down to the shuttle service. It was great! I absolutely recommend it and can't wait to go back.

Was ok. Pricey. Needs later hours for hot tub. Never did get a chance to drink at clives. Maybe next time

We stayed at the Chateau Victoria for 2 nights during July. The first night we were in a double queen room and the second was a single king room. Both rooms were excessively hot once you turned the AC units off (who can sleep with that much noise from them running). We had to change rooms after the first night as the toilet kept running all night long, there seemed to be a strange loud humming coming from somewhere outside the window and a stairwell door was slammed shut dozens of times through the night so we barely slept due to excessive noise. We complained to the front desk staff, who were very nice about it, and we were upgraded to a king bed one floor up. The only change was the toilet didn't run all night and there was no slamming door continuously (though it did happen a few times). Both bathrooms were less than adequate as the caulking, drywall and floors were all cracked peeling and lacked care and attention. The faucets in the shower were loose and seemed to be cheaply installed. We ordered room service for dinner on the first night which came quickly and the food was delicious yet the portions were small for the price. The room rate is not the only charge on the bill when you check out, they also charge a 1% DMF (downtown Marketing Fee) and a 11% hotel room tax on top of the regular tax for each night. All in all it cost well over $700 for 2 mediocre nights which should have been less than $500. The staff were very nice, helpful and pleasant to work with but the hotel needed a lot of work.

Great place right in the City, clean, good service, they do not have breakfast. We were in a one bedroom suite on the 15th floor. They had only one AC in the living room, the bedroom only had a fan that was not effective. They have a queen bed in the living room and a queen bed in the bedroom.

Chateau Victoria/ Always Enjoy staying at Chateau Victoria!!! Staff is wonderful & helpful. After a long day of Christmas shopping it was wonderful for my husband and I to come back to our suite freshen up and head down to Clives Lounge for cocktails and then up to Vista 18 for a delicious dinner with a panoramic veiw of the City!

We stayed here for 2 days due to a family emergency. The hotel was wonderful. The staff are so kind and helpful. The restaurant was excellent but still had kids menus. The security is attentive. I was doing something behind my car and they were out within a minute to make sure everything was on the up and up. I really do recommend staying here.
