You will be able to see all the opinions of real people who are buying the services of Abkhazi Garden (Park) in Victoria area (Canada).
At the moment this business receives a rating of 4.5 stars over 5 and the score was based on 127 reviews.
As you can read, its rating is virtually the best one, and it's founded on a large number of feddbacks, so we can think that the evaluation is quite reliable. If people have bothered to value when they've done well with the service, is that it works.
You know that we do not usually stop to set opinions when these are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Park belongs to the category of Garden.
The location is very close to the downtown. Love this place so much. Super friendly staff.
So beautiful garden. Great story
A delightful little tea house serving light lunch and high tea. High tea was good with a selection of savoury and sweet pieces. If it's your first time visiting, the teahouse is a converted house, and garden is the garden of the house.
Some of the most unbelievable beautiful plants and flowers that I have ever seen. Do not miss this place. It has a Tea house that serves Teas and light lunches. Parking is on the street so that is a problem if busy.
What a hidden gem! The garden is bigger than expected and really well-maintained. I found Buchart Gardens to be over-hyped and touristy - you can visit with lunch for the same price at Abkhazi!
The tea was wonderful but for me, the romantic story of finally finding your Prince is to die for! And they were here, in this place!!!
Small but super cute
Sweet spot. Delightful tea room. Be sure to read about its history before you go, it will enhance your experience.
Beautiful oasis in the heart of Victoria.
A Victorian well kept secret...
Very good tea. Poor ventilation on hot day.
Great place! Relaxing, beautiful and a bit off the beaten track for Victoria attractions. Will be back.
Visited Abkhazi Garden for the first time today. A true hidden gem. We enjoyed a wonderful Afternoon Tea at the tea house. The service from Sarah and Emily was great! If you haven't been, be sure to visit. When hosting out-of-town guests this would be a special place to take them.
Had the special Canada 150 tea and platter, and every single thing I tried was delicious. The dragonwell green tea is very nice.
A magical place you can't miss!! It's like living a fairy tale. The lady at the entrance on Saturday mornings is super kind and you can tell she loves what she does. We really want to go back soon!
Beautiful and peaceful
Beautiful, serene surroundings. A hidden gem. Attended a wedding there last weekend. Perfect location.
We really loved the experience visiting this beautiful garden with some cute surprises ( such as this cute colorful turtle that lives in the pond) and I just realized today I never got the chance to write a review..we can't wait till we come back to visit to have enjoy a sweet brunch and browse through the gift shop ( I purchased a pair of beautiful orchid porcelain earrings and a brooch )or some new flower seeds to plant . We rode our bicycles from Vancouver and Abkhaki Gardens was so accommodating in storing out bicycles to visit this wonderful place. Thank you again to staff and the warm welcome ????
Nice and interesting place with its love history that make this place a peaceful moment to enjoy a cup of tea and relaxing enjoying the view.
Quite little park for a walk.
Enjoying high tea on the patio overlooking the gardens was a wonderful peaceful experience. The food was delicious.
Garden is absolutely beautiful. Admission is by donation. There is a tea house if you fancy, but be warned of the cost. You must order some kind of food, and can not split a dish between two people.
I went here for afternoon tea with my family. I'm not sure why but the waitress never came by to ask us how we were doing. She asked all the other people around us, including questions such as would you like the umbrella up? And she brought blankets for people who were cold etc. Our teapot was getting cold we were directly in the sun and my mom could have really used a blanket. Anyways, we always had to call for her. She would ask everyone then return back to the restaurant inside. Which was really disappointing. The food itself was good, the tea wasnt well filtered despite using their mini strainer, a lot of tea leaves still made it through the cup. Overall it was an ok experience the food and garden was good. The service appeared a little discriminatory.
Beautiful gardens!
A hidden garden tucked away from the bustle of Victoria. Cost is by donation, but they recommend $10/person. Property is only a few acres in size but the gardens are worth a trip. Doesn't take long to walk through them but it's generally quiet. A gift shop and tea place are located on the property. We didn't try the tea, but pricing is about $40/person. Beauty place for a visit.
Quaint little garden. A definite must see.
(Translated) Very nice stop, a small garden with very nice perspectives ... For the tea we were too late. However, in my opinion, the $ 10 donation recommendation is not worth .... (Original) Sehr schöns Haltestelle, einen kleinen Garten mit sehr schöne Perspektiven... Für den Tee waren wir zu spät. Ist jedoch in meinen Augen die 10 $ Spendeempfehlung nicht Wert....
Beautiful fall day. Looking forward to seeing it in all the seasons
Absolutely my FAVORITE place to come for tea and dainties!!!! The view is absolutely stunning if you're out on the patio!!
Victoria's secret.. You must go often and during each season. Amazing history behind the place - buy and read the book....
Excellent service and experience
This is a hidden gem. The history itself is worth the visit for the romantic at heart. It's like an outdoor art gallery with the natural beauty as it's focus. A great place to quietly soak in the result of great love, and a wish to preserve horticultural beauty. There is a quaint tea room as well to enjoy.
Wonderful food and gardens.
Beautiful gardens, and don't miss the tearoom.
Lovely gardens.
The most beautiful garden I've ever seen.
Peaceful and gorgeous. Very beautiful and well tended. High tea was too expensive for our budget, sadly.
Pretty gardens and close to dt
Beautiful
Worth while stop with many unique plants and informative volunteers.
Beautiful place, amazing history.
It's a nice garden with a very friendly attitude, but because it's only the 1 acre, it won't be much of a walking spot and the teahouse is more of a restaurant offering delightful lunch menus as opposed to just tea so that I may drink tea and bask in the garden, like in China.
Love the afternoon tea service.
What a gem!
Entrance fee by donation. Very nice garden with a tea house. Parking on the street
(Translated) Beautiful (Original) Prachtig
Can't say much for the teahouse (we never went inside of it) but the gardens are just BEAUTIFUL!
Lovely little walk through garden with some very kind, knowledgeable volunteers on the grounds! The tea house is so precious.
A gem of a garden in the middle of a residential district and worth a visit. Lunch with a view in the house looked wonderful but we haven't tried it.
The place is very cozy and the service is excellent. I ordered an elevenses and was a little disappointed with the pastries flavours, the scone was the only thing that was really yummy.
Quiet and away from all the hustle and bustle of the city. Beautiful view from the Tea House. A hidden gem!
Always a beautiful place to visit, especially in the spring time when the flowers are blooming. Very well kept and a nice place to walk around. Very easy to access via the 7 bus, and a short walk away from Gonzales observatory, another nice spot.
Among my handful of favourite Victoria gardens. I visit at least monthly because there is always something different to admire in this garden built by two lovers with a fascinating personal history too.
Not open today but the picture of the 'snow drops' is outside the gate!
Lovely garden and Teahouse
Took family from out of town for tea and have to say we were a bit disappointed. $22 for the elevensies which consisted of a little scone, 2 little sandwiches, a tiny quiche, and 3 sweets. And we had to pay extra for just a wee bit of jam. Very nice park like surroundings right in the middle of town.
Really cute little place, I think i will go again! My friend and I had elevenses and it was delicious! Had a nice time walking through gardens after.
A delightful garden shared with the public.
Very well put together, a fantastic display of horticulture. Absolutely recommend this place, and i don't even like plants that much lol
Had a delicious lunch at the Tearoom. The tables are well spaced and our waitress was wearing a mask. The gardens are a beautiful peaceful place to walk.
Spectacular Rhodos just now. Beautiful little oasis in Fairfield.
Such a gorgeous garden, the rhododendrons are spectacular. The Abkhazi Couple put 40 years of love to create what is today one of the gems of Victoria’s amazing gardens. This one acre spot is absolutely special and shouldn’t be missed! The staff are so pleasant and helpful! Most importantly, make sure you read about the lifelong love the Prince and Princess enjoyed, it completely explains the beauty of the Garden!
Great spot for tea, treats and beautiful views. And awesome service from Josh!
Beautiful garden. No fee just donate
Gardens are great and the staff very knowledgeable. We had a great time in the gardens. Probably a two-hour visit. Tea house only so-so.
Beautiful garden filled with friendly and knowledgeable volunteers. Tea house gift shop and service are wonderful. A hidden gem in Victoria!
Good turtle, good lizards. Gift shop has interesting stuff. Haven't tried the food but looks good. The flowers were lovely if not abundant its basically a residential yard turned into a garden. Don't expect butchart.
Beautiful garden in the heart of the City. It's great for an evening tea. It's free to visit but they suggest a 10 dollars donation.
Really nice garden. Took our 2yo there also. Had high tea in the restaurant there. It was really nice.
Great variety of plants and landscape
This is one of those little hidden gems. Lovely gardens and a tea house. The gardens are by donation and the high tea is much more affordable than most. Worth a visit.
This is a wonderful little naturalized garden in the Fairfield area of Victoria. Built by a Georgian Prince and his wife who had no children or heirs to leave it to. It was rescued from development and turned into a lovely attraction. The lunches and teas served here are outstanding. A lovely place to spend a few hours in.
Beautiful day to not only enjoy the garden but a Tea as well.....Strongly recommend it as a must see and enjoy in Victoria!
Worth the visit.
This is a hidden beauty.
Beautiful but small garden in the heart of Fernwood. Worth an explore on your way to or from the summit of Gonzales Hill or Ross Bay Cemetery.
Serene setting, beauty amongst the rocks. A true gem!
You could easily miss this place unless you know it’s here. Wonderful gardens, easy walking easy to navigate pathways (some stairs). Stand and watch the turtles sun-bathe beside the pond. Enjoy Elevenses Tea or more from the menu in The Teahouse at Abkhazi.
Love it! The walking is wide enough. I like the landscape. Wonderful delicious tea! Great for photography.
Spectacular gardens, a delightful place to have tea service or lunch.
This was probably the wrong time of year to visit this garden.
Beautiful garden
Just an enchanting garden. So glad it was preserved.
Great tea, charcuterie board was fantastic!
Very beautiful
Such a wonderful hidden gem in the heart of Fairfield. Fun to explore the gardens and then enjoy a cup of tea afterwards. Highly recommended.
A lovely garden lovingly maintained. Didn't have tea but enjoyed the gardens. No admission price but a suggested donation of $10/person, which seemed perfectly reasonable.
Really nice place for high tea or lunch with incredible gluten free treats to make for an authentic experience with a delicious house blend tea!
Mind-blowing afternoon tea arrangements and garden, I recommend to visit
Wonderful tea! As good or better than any We've ever had. The best scones ever, and the savory selections were delicious. Beautiful setting. Nice excursion.
This little afternoon tea restaurant is a real gem in the city. The place is secluded and It has a beautiful garden. The afternoon tea is a pleasant surprise. Everything is delicious. Even though it doesn't have as many tea selections as Fairmont empress. It's still worth giving it a try. The price is definitely more affordable. Don't forget to take a walk in the garden after the tea. It's beautiful.
This is a beautiful gem of a place, even in the Fall. Definitely coming back in the Spring for the rhododendron forest!!
What a great way to spend a sunny afternoon. Lovely Tea at Abkhazi Garden was wonderful.
A place of peace and beauty in an urban setting. This garden is a gem. The views and the variety of plants is amazing .
Beautiful garden. Quiet and peaceful.
Lovely small garden and cafe. Their royal Abhazi tea is delicious.
Beautiful little garden surrounding an enchanting teahouse. Great history, great service - it's a wonderful getaway in the city.
The love story of the Abkhazis began in the 1920s, you can still see their passion for horticulture in the garden today. A beautiful garden!
Excellent service. Delightful garden & views. We'll spaced seating. Tempting tea treats.
Beautiful garden and delicious afternoon tea
Very beautiful and peaceful. Great place appreciate and take in nature.
Very peaceful and serene garden, it may be worth it to book in advance for light lunch on the terrace.
Gorgeous hidden gem! Lovely gardens and a sweet tea room with absolutely delicious goodies!! We'll be back for sure!
Excellent high tea.
Amazing oasis in Victoria and a must-see stop for anyone looking for the unusual and the peaceful
A day trip to Victoria and found this little gem afternoon tea place. Will visit again in spring when the trees are green and flowers are blooming.
Very nice cozy garden with history behind.
Beautiful, serene, striking. A lovely garden in the heart of the city, with a fascinating history. Maintained by volunteers, delicately balanced between formal and natural.
Simple but beautiful
Beautiful place for tea and quiet stroll afterwards.
The gardens are lovely, entrance is by donation. Enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea, if a bit pricey. The treats were delicious. If you don't make reservation, you might wait an hour or more for a table...and the gardens don't take that long to walk around.
Sit and enjoy tea and the shrimp croissants. To live for.. :)
Beautiful gardens and amazing staff/volunteers. Perfect place for afternoon tea in the sunshine
Amazing. Great garden amazing tea house. Wonderful service
The gardens were not quite spring yet. The tea house has beautiful view. The food is over priced the $22.00 elevenses is not worth it. The soup is also over priced. Will not be returning for tea.
Wonderful garden
A really nice place to visit, a large amount of different types of plants.
Nice little garden in the middle of town
Excellent gardens, the teahouse was a splendid experience. The scenery alone makes it a must do when in town. And even a go to for locals.
Beautiful garden, every step of the way is blooming with wonderful sights.
(Translated) Great park ... you have to look at it (Original) Toller Park...muss man sich ansehen
Absolutely gorgeous grounds and fascinating local history off the tourist track
Tranquil hidden gem in Victoria. Tea ranged from $24-55 USD depending on what course meal you choose. Server was so friendly and helpful. Meal and experience was truly spectacular.
Very nice tea room with tea served in fine china and great freshly baked pastries in a beautiful garden
Lovely Asian inspires garden in the middle if Fairfield.
Entrance by donation. Not very big of a garden nor a huge attraction. Can walk the entire garden in 15 minutes. Most public parks have bigger garden, trails, and things to see.
Great gardens, love the history and high tea.
Make sure you book for the afternoon tea. Unfortunately I could not make it there today but I will come back here again. Such a lovely place.
Found a cool turtle in the pond. Great types of plants everywhere.
This garden is a hidden gem. So beautiful, not crowded, hard to find, but worth it. Lots of interesting plants and written information and a romantic love story as well. We missed having tea, but i hear it's wonderful.
Beautiful. Paths to wonder and ponds to ponder.
The tea room is elegant and overlooks the garden. The servers are attentive and friendly. Walk through the garden after tea and enjoy the sights, smells, sounds, and turtles.
We had a wonderful experience at the Abkhazi teahouse. We had an "elevenses" and an afternoon tea from their menu. They have a good selection of teas and all f the various scones and desserts were delicious. Do not leave without trying the creme brulee! They infuse it with lemongrass and is unlike any other creme brulee you've ever tried! Our server was friendly and accommodated our dietary needs without any problems. To top it off you get a great view of the gardens from the outdoor patio, or from the indoor dining section. The Abkhazi gardens and teahouse is a non-profit organization which uses their funds to maintain the garden which itself is a hidden gem in the city. Whether you are here on a date, or if you want to go with your family, this is a wonderful place to enjoy a good time with good friends.
Beautiful
Very pretty small garden Azaleas. Pricey cafe and gift shop
Great experience! Beautiful setting, food was good, our server was bubbly and friendly. Took off one star because the tea room smells strongly of varnish.
I liked the romantic story of the owner.
Excellent service and the tea was lovely. The scones are to die for! The gardens are lovely and so claiming to walk through. With real china and a true high tea this is a must experience.
It's a bit tricky to find this place because its nestled in a residential area and looks like any other gated house on the block. Lots of free parking on the street or by the school half a block away. Admission by donation. Easy walk but not wheelchair accessible as the gravel is pitted with stairs in some parts. There's a beautiful tea house at the top with indoor and outdoor seating. Takes 15 to 20 min to circle the entire garden which features gorgeous cherry blossoms, rhododendrons and magnolia trees as well as other blooms.
Tranquil with beautiful flowers and wonderful teahouse.
This is a special occasion place for us. Good food, friendly service. Anglophiles will be tempted by the high tea.
Enjoyed a wonderful afternoon tea experience here this weekend. Delicious food, great service and a beautiful garden view.
Well worth the effort.
The gardens are lovely, you can wander around them and see the plants before the real reason you are there for. Our tea experience was ok.....We have had high tea in many places in the states and UK and Canada, so perhaps I have expectations that are different than what they consider to be acceptable. The sandwiches were extremely small and the "organic" egg salad had an odd flavor of some spice that is still a mystery. The tiny quiche was dominated by bell peppers, and it was hard to find any egg in it at all. We sat in an unassuming room while a group of lunching ladies guffawed and bellowed their conversation to the point that I couldn't hear my husband sitting right next to me. I could go on with each disappointment, but why?
Beautiful garden
Beautiful outdoor (or indoor) tea. We just ate elevenses. A tasty, relaxing experience. I will definitely come back again.
What a gem! The Garden is spectacular and the food and service in the Teahouse is top notch. Will definitely be back - often!
Lovely place to visit. A quaint Japanese garden with an English flair. The tea house offers "elevensies" and a high tea service. Value and location are excellent in a city that prides itself on it's English heritage and tea service.
We got married in the gardens and had Page in the Tea House cater for us. It was the most beautiful spot to have a wedding and the food was amazing. The best part is we can visit our wedding spot anytime throughout the year and enjoy tea and snacks at the tea house!
Beautiful gardens, nice spot for a date.
beautiful garden and pretty tea room
Small quaint garden. Very peaceful. Did not try the tea house though.
This is not a Japanese garden although that is the ambience. Mostly shade plants. Must be spectacular in the spring when the rhododendrons are in bloom.
Google says Tea House is open But it is not today☹️. Days open need to be seasonally adjusted!
Beautiful gardens and really delicious and reasonably priced tea service.
What a peaceful, beautiful treasure! I got to visit with two girlfriends. The staff at OLO recommended it. We hadn't even heard of it before. Oh, are we ever glad we did! The hostess at the gate was so kind and gave us a wonderful history lesson. It was my first high tea, and we all had a great time.
Best place ever, had a great time.
cosy quiet and close to downtown, worth to see
Amazing flowers
Calm & serene
Small but fabulous gardens. You can also take afternoon tea in the house.
Out standing but I do love to see people in period costume ( no masks mind you) and children dressed as lady bugs and honey bees dancing amongst the shrubs. Hope to see you there
This was our third visit to the Abkhazi Gardens and Tea room. Even though it is a cooler Spring and flowers are not as far along as usual, you get a different perspective on the gardens. The exhibit of sculptured dresses in the gardens, based on the life of Peggy Abkhazi is wonderful.
This is a lovely volunteer-managed site that combines the gardens with a bit of the story of the previous owners, who created them. The ideal time to come is likely in rhododendron season, but we were there when the lilies were blooming, and the greenery provided nice shelter on a warm summer day. My companion had both mobility and vision issues (walking with a cane) and in the shade, he tripped over a jutting piece of cement that was hard for him to see. He found the slopes, uneven stairs and 75-year-old pavement to be a challenge. If you combine your visit with tea, be warned that it is not cheap, and you can't have "just tea". However, the scones are out of this world. I would recommend a visit if you love gardens and high tea, and are looking for a more intimate experience than Butchart Gardens. Your money supports a beautiful heritage site and a local non profit.
Beautiful garden open to the public by donation. Many of the pathways are accessible to people using walkers and possibly some wheelchair users.
Lovely after noon high tea overlooking beautiful garden setting.
Delicate and exquisite garden. Although its size is not as large as Bucharest, it is definitely a destination that worths exploring in Victoria. More importantly, no expensive admission ticket is required, but a donation for each visitor is preferred. (What a kindness policy in a resort town!) Really have good memories here.
Lovely garden.
Small but beautiful. Lunch a bit pricey. Overall excellent.
Lovely gardens afternoon tea was very good
Happy we made the trek. Adorable and special little garden and property with an interesting story.
Beautiful garden!
GREAT garden to visit. It is truly a Royal garden of Prince and Princes Abkhazi.
Came for afternoon tea with some girlfriends. We had a lovely time in the beautiful garden enjoying delicious tea and treats. We'll be back.
Very pleasant small display garden. Well taken care of by volunteers. Street parking only but not a problem in the early morning. Paths meander everywhere; many not wheelchair accessible. Probably difficult if mobility- challenged. Small teahouse was pleasant but pricey. Good food.pleasant and professional staff.
Beautiful gardens. Well taken care of and maintained. Should definitely stop by the tea house for lunch or tea.
Garden was beautiful and not overly packed like butchart. And free!
Lovely ambience and treats
Very fun! The tea was fantastic. We ordered elevenses and it was perfect. The garden is gorgeous (but not accessible to all people as there are a fair amount if stairs). I took many pictures and we loved our afternoon tea! The staff were helpful and the food was delicious.
Calm and beautiful garden. Nice food.
Beautiful little garden. Unique and with a romantic history. Tea service available. Bathroom available.
Very beautiful setting. Peaceful.
Love it
We love going to Abkhazi Garden with visitors. It's a small garden and easy to see at a leisurely pace in an hour or so. There's a very romantic story behind the creation of the garden. Accessible for a rollator. A manual wheelchair or power chair would be more challenging. The Tea room serves delicious light lunches and teas. Tea Room is accessible but the route isn't marked. Washroom isn't fully accessible. It's very easy to get to the Abkhazi Garden from downtown Victoria by car or public transit.
Lovely former private garden. Quiet and serene. Should go if in Victoria.
Best secret garden in Victoria!
Beautiful, restful, inviting gardens tucked in an Oak Bay residential area. Gem.
Hard to find, small garden and pricey menu for value
Lovely garden! The staff is friendly and the entry fee is by donation.
The best places have the best stories and this place has a story. I won't spoil it but it's often said that this garden was built upon love and I hope after seeing it you'll agree. The garden itself isn't particularly large, could walk through it in ten minutes if you're quick. But the real draw is the tea time. Probably some of the best tea you'll ever have alongside a wide variety of comestibles that are all wonderful in their own right. The scones were my favorite personally.
Awesome tea time place if u happened to be in victoria
Huge modern Church. Felt the presence here.
food was really tasty. there is no heater outside so very cold!
Very nice place to get away from the hussel and bussel of the downtown life. Very friendly people to give you some insight of the history of the garden. If you like the garden secery it worth checking it out.
Hidden gem in the heart of Victoria, especially for the gardener.
Best "Afternoon Tea" that I have had in a beautiful garden setting. Inside or outside options.
The food items in general are exceptionally well made. The savoury scones are mouth watering, the desserts are mostly good, and the tea (from Silk Road) are great. Found the decor a bit drab, and a tea house with only one washroom is not ideal as it seemed to always be occupied, but overall good experience. Would come back when people visit as the price is a bit high for what it is to go often.
A lovely peaceful space. A wonderful garden in autumn colours. Good service and magical views.
Most gorgeous rhododendrons and azaleas.
If you are like high tea, romance and nature this place is a must visit. This is a heritage home, built in 1946 by the owners who belonged to royal lineage of Abkhazia(do look it up in world map). Go with an open mind and you'll surely get transported to those beautiful times.
Beautiful gardens, although walking area can be difficult due to uneven pavement and rock walls. Tea was wonderful, especially great choice for celebrating a milestone birthday with special friends!
Lovely hidden garden to visit. Not professionally maintained but that makes it even more charming. They have an amazing collection of shade perennials under their mature rhododendron forest. Definitely worth the $10 suggested admission donation.
Wonderful place with amazing afternoon tea. Very courteous and friendly service.
The tea is a great idea for a brunch, but make sure to make reservations, specially if you are going from 11 to 1pm. We ordered the Afternoon Tea option from the menu and it was more than plenty for the two of us. The garden is beautiful but rather small and there isn't anything here out of the usual, with the exception of a strange ugly looking cat sculpture made of wood that doesn't match with the elegance of the rest of the place.
(Translated) Dispointing (Original) Dispointing
I went there with a friend on October 2, 2016. My son had gotten married at the Oakbay Beach Resort. We had thought of going to the Empress Hotel but one of the staff at Oakbay suggested Abkhazi Garden for tea. It was only a 5 minute car drive away. We are glad we decided to go.The gardens are beautiful and the tea and treats were great and the 1/3 of the costs! I would recommend it!
We heard good things about this tea house and were extremely disappointed! The scones were hard and dry as well the pastries which didn’t seem fresh. The atmosphere lacked character...very blah! We left feeling shocked at the quality of food, lacking of ambience, and underwhelmed at the whole experience!
Such a beautiful spot for high tea
Very picturesque and relaxing.
Beautiful walk, however can be muddy in certain areas
Stunning local garden
Not even spring yet but still beautiful and peaceful to walk around.
Beautiful garden and delicious tea service! It's a perfect spot to slow down and catch up with family and friends.
Small but truly amazing.
We went as a family of four on a rainy Thursday afternoon for Afternoon Tea, and after reading reviews we picked this one: we were disappointed. The atmosphere and decor were quite unappealing and strange, with unusual colour themes. The food was good with a variety of sandwiches and sweet treats but the breads were all light (no substance) the small salmon bites were so small they may as well have been non existent. We've been to others in Victoria, on the mainland, and in Ireland: this does not really rate well comparatively.
What a beautiful place. The gardens are lovely. Definitely, worth the time to visit.
Very disappointed by their response time. I am helping plan a wedding, and we emailed about a month ago, called several times, and left a voicemail. We never received any word back. The bride was pretty sure this would be her venue, but after getting ghosted by the venue she no longer feels confident she could trust them leading up to the wedding or on her wedding day. For a popular wedding venue, not responding to an inquiry about a wedding is a pretty bad sign.
lovely garden
