Camped at Wood Lake in July. We won’t be returning, campsites are very close together, you could almost jump from roof to roof, very little privacy. Staff are friendly and helpful, just not our preferred type of camping, we go for more of a wilderness experience.
Great location
Will be regulars! Enjoyed our 2 week stay very much!
Great family camping
(Translated) Nice place, places on the street are nice, but unfortunately also loud. (Original) Schöner Platz, Plätze an Straße sind schön, aber leider auch laut.
If you get the right spot not bad otherwise direct sun and dry dirt conditions.
Excellent place to camp..has it all
Kids had a blast in the water ... I got to rest on the decent sized beach
stayed here for a few months we really enjoyed the time there very well looked after campsite.
Camping Right on the beach
Small beach crowded park but great favilitues
Way too crowded and pricey.
Our first visit here and I couldn't be happier. The hosts we're incredibly accommodating. Everything is perfect. Can'twait to be back!!
Beautiful views
We had a wonderful time at Wood Lake RV in July 2017. The staff are very hospitable, and the campsite has a family friendly atmosphere. There is an established culture there in which campers show each other a lot of respect, are quiet at night, and are mutually helpful. We experienced a mix-up regarding our site booking, and the manager went out of his way to fix the problem, making sure we were happy with the site we received, and he even sent a staff member later to bring us a gift as an apology for the mix up. Very impressed with how professionally they handled the situation. They definitely understand good customer service. The property is clean and well maintained. Lots of trees for shade. There is no open space for kids to run around (it's all campsites), but there is a beautiful park just down the road with a grassy field and a beach volley ball court.
so quiet
A wonderful destination for families with kids! The beach gets raked by a tractor each morning. They have a great little swimming area. The campground has a little park, and lots of cute little bridges over little creeks. From showers, washing machines to groceries right down the street, its beautiful and convenient all rolled into one!
Awesome location (we were beachfront). Service was excellent and the facilities are clean and well cared for. We will be back! :)
This was our second year at Wood Lake following the closure of our long time rsort in Westbank. This place is very quiet and comfortable. Will be returning again.
Easy access, clean grounds, dog park and friendly staff
Good campground. A little noise from the highway nearby, but overall not bad. Would be back for sure.
excellent place I loved it you can enjoy an excellent view and good restaurants around it
We come to Kelowna area every spring and the stay last year was good. As for this year, the customer service was horrible and the manager was incredibly rude to us. For example one morning we were eating breakfast and there was a LOUD banging at the door, apparently we owed a couple days rent so we said we will be right over after breakfast and he's said no and made us go pay rent right at that moment. Another example is pre booking the site we were in making us move to other sites.
It is a great campsite if you have kids, want to be close to the water. The campsites are packed in like sardines closest to the lake. So if you like kids, noise & the water this is your place.
Great place to camp, facilities are clean. Too bad they no longer allowed tenting.
Great spot, reasonable prices, and everything you need!
Wonderful evening by the campfire
Nice little marina with camping on the water. Stores and restraunt nearby.
Great place to stay. Great staff and it was great to have a full hook up. The beach area is nice for the family and even though the resort was sold out the beach was never super busy.
Beautiful place
Really nice lake side and beach campground. Full hook ups with good showers, washrooms and laundry. Pub right beside and close to stores
Awesome campground...although staff is a bunch of young girls who are not very unknowledgeable therefore unhelpful so it was a bit of hassle but we dealt with it
Great place . Lots of fun.
Well maintained sites, friendly staff. I I'll come back.
*****Beware***** Booked a site 5 months in advance, had to cancel a couple weeks later due to washrooms closed at 8pm and cannot be accommodated. Still got charge a cancelation fee of $45.00. Be sure you have a self contained unit before booking.
Close to the water and convenient facilities. But the sites are two close to each other. I felt very crowd in the site. If you'd like a quiet place, I'll not recommend here.
Very pleasant place everybody is very friendly the staff is wonderful it's clean it's one of the nicest I've stayed at
You can start here, and habe a Lot of water Activity....
Far too crowded. And the harbour does not invite you for a swim. Take a bike ride instead!
Great place to camp
This was such a nice little summer spot. The park is well maintained, the washrooms are exceptionally clean and showers are well priced at $1.00 for 8 minutes. They groom the little Beach area every morning. There is a restaurant, pub and store on site, but the park is conveniently located close to the many amenities of Lake Country. Book well in advance, if you want a spot on the water.
Used the boat launch
(Translated) Great place. Full hooked up, pub next door. Just fully charge. (Original) Prima plek. Full hooked up, pub naast de deur. Even helemaal opladen.
Place is great! Bathrooms are clean, and the staff is very friendly. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because I find the camp sites are too close to each other.
We stayed at Wood Lake RV Park and Marina in September 2021 for six nights from Sunday to Saturday. The park was not full to capacity as it was during a week after school had started. As the park is close to the highway the truck noise is loud if you are in the first row of campsites like we were especially when the windows are open. The washrooms were clean and there is a very spacious laundry room with lots of machines! There is a very organized garbage area with a recycling program in place. They sold a few food items and ice cream in the office and right next door was a charming coffee shop with coffee and pastry type treats open until 2 PM! There is a lovely beach and a rental shack where things could be rented for your pleasure...over all a very nice place to spend some time. We walked around the campsite with the map and marked which sites we would like to camp in the next time we go back!
Great location and a good pub next door. Rates are very reasonable.
This locations is for city camping... Where you don't mind hearing the highway traffic day and night or a place where you want to try your new RV out for the first time. We had a beach lot.. Packed in like sardines.. Neighbour on one side awning is nearly over my slide out and other side their slide out is in our living area. Zero privacy. And the restrooms are closed... Because of covid. Whatever that's nonsense. Get over it. I was overwhelmed with the number of things they have there and how each and every item has a cost... Per pet per day, visitors, parking, etc and so forth... And a ton of rules of what you can and can't do. Perhaps we got the wrong spot as there are other nicer sites in the park, but we didn't think it would be like this. You have no opportunity to ignore your neighbour if you wanted to.... We thought bear Creek park was tight... No this is tighter. We even had a neighbour complain our campfire was too smoky... Lol.. Really? Is the light breeze taking some smoke from a campfire into your new RV that still smells of scotchguard? Get lost buddy...not my cup of tea.
The bathrooms are not convienient for all sites as there is a salmon creek through the grounds. As neat as that is... Another bathroom on the enterance side opposite the office or couple bridges across would be better. It was scary and pitch black as i was walking to the bathroom so a few lights would be good around the park for safety. Anyone could walk in there and prey on people walking to the bathroom in the dark. The rules seem to be different for everyone but the beach is pretty so that brought it up a star.
Standard pub with decent food and a view over Wood Lake.
The people that work here are all extremely helpful and accomidating. The campsite themselves are clean and the location right on the lake is perfect.
Awesome thanks so much ????
Very clean, well run campground...great for families. Our site backed against a stream and the campground has lots of mature trees. Great family entertainment on the beach at night with Karoke. Kept very clean and staff are super accomodating. Will come again!!!
Very nice rv park. Excellent staff.
Beautiful place
Very busy place.. It was packed tightly with cars and people with children walking around.. ???? Campsites are very close to each other..
Great spots with full hook-ups. Nice for pits and fantastic bathroom facilities with showers. Fishing was good. We caught some fish from the dock. Definitely recommend.
We have camped here quite a few times over the years. It seems like they've put a bit of money into the place, but during a busy weekend it is way too cramped and expensive. Doesn't feel like camping on a long weekend, more like a trailer park. We went last weekend and it wasn't busy due to the flood, which was nice.
It was ok till by law showed up taking pictures of vehicles and then they called by Lawson us for having our one trailer parked on r d cause it had a broken window from being vandalized and wouldn't let us pay for sure next door to us for it now want us to move by tomorrow all caused by them . I'd say stay faraway from this over priced snotty ignorant place I rate this place a one star cause sites are well kept that's it though ..
Nice place overall. Staff are helpful and easy going. Park is well maintained and services all work well. Beach is a bit small, but cleaned and raked regularly. Sites are close but the park has a lot of mature trees so sites are mostly shaded. Will certainly visit again.
Great Park and staff, we have been going there for the last four years, very clean wash rooms and shopping not far away. In addition to the lake and fishing, there are cycling and hiking trails nearby as well it is wine country.
God awful place the staff isn't friendly and terrible service for sure.
This place is NOT for families. The parties that go on here nightly are crazy. Met one guy that was driving around last night looking for help, his power was out at his site, he called after hours number for over an hour, no answer, really stuck. Then last night there was also a very loud party at one site who have been hosting these parties for last four nights. Cops even came twice, security came 3 times, party went on. I talked to security guy and he said they have had several complaints over several days but still they were allowed to stay here. So many people wandering around drinking and swearing that kids are bound to hear, and I just heard a little girl of about 6 that is across the lane dump a bunch of swear words at her very shocked parents. The park people do nothing to contain or control by removing these people. I had called the office during office hours to ask about a group staying just 2 site's down from me. According to the girl I spoke to no one was in that site. They had taken over 3 site's, parking vehicles all over them, little toddlers playing on lane way with no parents in site. Girl at office confirmed no one was registered at that site and was going to send someone up. Well it has been 5 days, the people have moved on and still no one has been there. I see park people driving around all day in golf carts but truly am stumped by what they do. The park seems to be run by a bunch of high school kids who really do not understand their job or role. What ever happened to swift removal of these type of people. DO NOT BRING YOUR FAMILIES HERE, IF YOU WANT A PARTY PLACE GREAT, BUT IF YOU WANT A FAMILY VACATION, DO NOT COME HERE. Well since my post things seem to have changed. There is security now driving around. I have had 3 nights of sleep. Now this is good, sure hope this continues.
This park is beautiful and well maintained. It's evident how much pride is taken in keeping the park looking sharp. The staff are super friendly and accommodating and there is a great family vibe here!! Come spend some time at Wood Lake and you won't regret it!!
Nice spot, the beach front lots are VERY small!!!
Nice clean camp sites, very tight for spacing, but will stay here again! Friendly staff moved our site to a less congested area upon request, definite 5 stars!
It's city camping not camping sites are to close together good thing about the campground low was it was a Sandy Beach
Great place go have fun
Personally I didn't like the place. I felt it was way too crowded, RVs were one over another, too many cars and hardly enough place for pedestrians to walk. There's a beach which is too small for the amount of campers and most of it is full with the beachfront campers. High rate and they charge for many things as well like showers and even pets. They got nice activities for kids but the KidsZone is not shaded and the dog park has nothing, not even a bowl of water. Looks like good intentions but very packed and doesn't feel for me a peaceful place.
Nice, large and clean campsites. Some spots near the lake were flooded and so was a lot of the docks of the nearby marina. Nice facilities and very close to town but still far enough away to have a camping experience. Overall a really beautiful place to stay.
Stayed here for a week in a class A 33 foot motorhome. Full-time RVers from the US. I highly recommend the site literally right next to the office building. Very close to the marina to carry your kayak/SUP over to and the WiFi works great there for remote working. Great water conditions here. Away from the beach, which is just riddled with people. No one uses the clubhouse so staying right next to it is no problem at all. There’s an off-leash dog problem here and the staff needs to enforce leash rules better. Stressful. Othwrwise, Very minimal interaction with staff, which was nice. Nice to walk to the Turtle Bay Pub nearby. Neighbors weren’t loud and overall a quiet stay. Definitely gets muddy when it rains though because it’s all grass and no gravel. Bugs are too bad to sit outside, in early June at least. I’d definitely stay here again for the east marina access, biking route access and good WiFi.
RV pads too close to each other. It wasn't very scenic. Staff too rigid and unapproachableL.
Shaded, well kept, reasonably priced rv park.
Very clean. Staff are very friendly. Definitely a family Campground. We rebooked already during warmer weather. Can't wait for our next stay.
This is my first camping trip ever and it was with my 3 year old driving a 31 ft motorhome. I don’t give out 5 stars easily but they deserve it. The staff was very friendly and patient on the phone even with my million questions and most are dumb ones but they were very patient with me. The only compaint I have was that we got the beach front lot but the water was high so our side of the beach was basically gone but they brought fresh sad for the beach and it was so soft to walk on. My daughter had the best time ever and all the Neigbours were freaking awesome! We both make New forever friends and can’t wait to go back and do it all over again. The park is clean and I’ve heard people say best shower around (strong water pressure) I’ve traveled the world and surprisingly I’ve put this camping trip in my top 5 best vacations I’ve been on. Please also support the local boat rental (Brian) he gives extra disount to people who are stay at the park and what a nice person. Overall what a rocking trip!!
We really enjoyed our first stay here. We stayed the week of Canada Day and had an amazing time. We arrived after a long day of driving from Alberta, and being drained, and newer to towing it was taking me longer than it probably should've to get in to my site. Dennis from the staff was very helpful in giving me backup directions to get me tucked in there. Like a lot of reviewers on other sites have said: the sites are very close together. Lots of people don't like that. We however liked mingling with the other people. They are almost all families with young kids, most of them repeat customers which says a lot. One of the other sellings points for this place was that each site has it's own fire pit. The beach is great, very private and well maintained. The location is also great. 10 minutes drive from grocery, 1 from fuel, and if you crave it 1 minute from Tim Hortons ;) Equal distance to Vernon for some water slides, and to Kelowna for... Kelowna. The bathrooms and shower facilities were clean and comfortable. The store has lots of snacks, wood, ice, and common RV items. They put on a pancake breakfast for Canada Day. We plan on coming again next year,.
Excellent place
Very friendly helpful staff, we were fortunate to get a great site with lots of room.
Fresh hell on earth. There's no mosquitoes because there's no room for them. If you like "camping" on top of everyone with a packed beach, freeway noise, etc, this is the place for you. The only redeeming factor is the staff are very friendly.
The sites near the road are nightmare: noisy and dusty all the time. The lake is very warm, the swimming area is a good idea, but unfortunately this area is very small, and the dog beach is right near. Marina is probably good for boats, but it's hard to come out to the open lake on the paddle board.
Great place to stay! Beautiful park, lots of trees and with the lake right there you can't go wrong. The staff are amazing, always happy and always there to help if needed. Manager/boss guy is super friendly and such a great person. This is the best RV park I have been to in the Okanagan and I have been to a few of them! Thanks Wood Lake RV you all are awesome and keep up the good work!!!
Very inconvenient unleveled grounds, tight stalls, dirty beach, murky water, lots of algae
Pretty cool place. I love the little stream behind our trailer spot where the ducks float around.
We stayed in site 173, it was a big enough site but was very un-level and had lots of weeds. The rate was good, showers and laundry facility was nice. Beach was pretty good too. We had to leave early due to the smoke and our young kids, the staff were very accommodating.
Great RV campground on the lake for families and groups. We go every year and will continue to for years to come. Has a variety of spot sizes and layouts with hookups. Also has boat launch, slips and parking available. The pub next door is worth visiting as well while you're there.
Just went by.
(Translated) Pretty crowded here. Logically with jetty and beach. OK for 1 night. (Original) Ziemlich voll hier. Logisch mit Bootssteg und Badestrand. Für 1 Nacht ok.
Great campground. Clean bathrooms & showers ($1/8min) and Laundry($2.50/load). Nice smaller beach, some weeds from Marina. Staff very helpful to make visit good.
Nice place awesome people great price
Great ! We go here every year
We booked 7 sites between family and friends and stayed here from June 30th - July 7th. All the sites have full hook ups. The facilities were immaculately clean. The beachfront sites were amazing, right by the sand with a decent view of the lake. Lot's of room to play beach volleyball, frisbee games, etc...The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We arrived early on June 30th, they allowed us to check in 2 hours early. There's tons of amenities near by. Will be looking to go back. Ike Jelic.
Very good for families with kids. Area ti swim and play.
Im staying here from august 14 for 5 days and its buetful but sooo busy with people
We were very impressed with this park. We made a late, last minute booking, they handled everything over the phone & had it ready when we got there, after the office was closed. Our stay was late in the year, so the park wasn't very full - we were able to get one of the beach front spots, which was separated from the main Beach - basically a private beach for us! We were very pleasantly surprised to find a small Creek next to our site, where we spent hours watching the kokanee salmon - quite a neat experience. We only stayed one night, but we hope to be back!
Very nice
Awesome service, kudos to Savanah who turned what could have been a bad situation into a great one when she helped find us a spot after the one we called about was taken upon arrival. Highly recommended!
Disappointing - towing boat, wanted to stay for the week but had to tent...was told they do not allow tenting although tents are shown all over their website. How do you tow a boat for the marina and an RV (other than a motorhome?) Too bad, site looks fantastic
I do the dust control here. Everyone is very friendly. Staff is great and very polite.
Friendly , clean and natural .
Tight spots with hardly any privacy. The beach area was nice, but small. Had a decent dog area and a playground for the kids. Also had a water sports rental office which was nice.
Good place to bring your family the staff does a great job keep up the good work
Nice wooded camp spots, beach is a little small, but kids had a ball :D
Lousy service, unfriendly staff, wasted our time over two days . Would not recommend
Great place
Great place! Incredible location with tons to offer. The front staff are amazingly helpful and some of the kindest people you could imagine. The RV sites are very well maintained, some with beautiful well established weeping willows, which truly weep, others offering beach front camping with a fire pit in the sand! With food trucks and boat rentals on location along with laundromat, shower and sani dump for guests being offered you hardly have to leave for anything, and if you do it is a short distance to the local grocers.
NO CREDIBILITY Booked a site 4 months in advance (in 2019] - website booking was a joke so after booking, phone the resort to get the site I wanted. Arrive in May & find that they had a group booking & gave my site away. Stuck us next to a mentally challenged kid that smoked weed all day & had no social skills. They couldn’t bother to contact me to let me know they’d changed my booking. Poor management - stay clear. Response - your office was advised & offered us less desirable sites. As far as “strict” rules on pot consumption - you did nothing after we complained. You never contacted me about changing my site - I contacted you to change the site & then to confirm. Don’t worry - I won’t be back.
(Translated) great (Original) Super
Crowded and small spots. People camping along the beach had their stuff spilling onto the sand making the beach even smaller.
Well run place, clean bathrooms, some really large lots, water front options, large trees, fire pits...friendly accommodating staff. I've enjoyed this place for a few years now.
Facilities very clean, showers were lovely. Very reasonable rates. Staff were very accomdating and helpful. Only downside is site is near freeway which can be quite noisy but upside is you are right on the lake!
Close to highway so quite a lot of traffic noise. Sites are very close together with no tree divide on some of the sites therefore lack of privacy. Showers and toilets are clean and well kept. Beach area very nice great for kids. Close to local amenities. The club house needs some attention!!!
A 5 for young families. We Seniors there for 8 nights to visit family, everyone looks happy; friendly service, great amenities & hook ups. Only down side is traffic noise, we were close to office backing on to parking lot, people walking to & fro thru our little campsite and hwy 97 noise ! Suggestion build an 8 ft fence separating parking lot from campsite with walkway for clients,
Nice place to camp but crowded
Our family and friends really enjoyed full hook ups for the week stay, Saturday to Saturday. No issues at all. We were the second row from the beach and we were all together, we didn’t get any complaints about noise which was surprising. Staff very friendly and they were on top of the details, such as cleaning the beach daily. We were near the garbage but never smelled it. Showers are a dollar, but I just turned the tap on without paying and it worked anyway, but temperature was all over. Used the laundry, $3 each. The kids caught tiny fish on the dock with cheese and they loved it. The swim area is blocked in by the dock and very safe.
We enjoyed camping there for years, now there's a 5 night minimum, that makes it hard to visit other places in BC, a 3 night would be better, the owners have to realize not everyone gets 3+ weeks for vacation.
Nice campground. Very compact. Sometimes difficult to maneuver with a large RV due to vehicles parked everywhere. Found it difficult to get parked in my site.
Visited some friends camping here. Nice spots....a little close together. Nice beach and marina!
A very good rv park with the nicest people????. Good location.
It's like its almost it's own little world in there. Very enjoyable getaway kind of place with hustle n bustle of kids doing activities of all sorts
Great place, Russ and team absolutely awesome, helpful, park nice and clean, local fast food van on site, nice pet run, only thing missing was a pet area next to the water, but so many other positives, outweighed that 1 minor gripe.
Quite relaxing and you are close to any thing you might want. Lake is wonderful. Only draw back is all the wake boats, if you are a wake boat then perfect
Nice beach great weather
(Translated) The RV park itself is excellent. Located in a great location, right by the water. The park has everything you need for a normal life. There are showers, there are toilets, a place for washing dishes and washing clothes. There is a swing for children in the park. the marina has a rental of all water attractions. The only drawback is a huge number of trailers, and, accordingly, people, on a small beach. But we must pay tribute, it was always quiet, despite the fact that everyone with small and not small children))) (Original)
Great location right on Wood Lake. Full hookups.
(Translated) Nice location, but very busy (Original) Leuke locatie, wel erg druk
Love this campground. Clean and well laid out. Well groomed beach.
Full hookups. Small sites
Beautiful place.
Never camped there but any family or friends have always had a great time. Only been out to visit.
Very well maintained campground. Lovely location. Good amenities such as laundry facilities and pub nearby.
Terrible experience with Kathy the manager, the customer service was absolutely ridiculous along with being concerned more about the profit they make then the customer. DO not recommend this place!!!! CAMP ELSEWHERE!!
Our site was small .. we hav e little children and the had us on the busiest traffic section ...
Thank you for providing our family a place to be together ❤ Staff went above and beyond!! We look forward to next year!
Our go-to place in the Okanagan for camping, yes it's always really crowded but still worth it. It's especially great for families with young children as there are always fun activities that the staff prepare and go above and beyond with. All around the staff are amazing, and the grounds are very well maintained. My only complaint is they will charge if you have to leave early, regardless of the circumstances...customer service in that respect is lacking.
This place was awesome. Ran well very clean. Great location. I will be back. Staff was awesome and friendly.
Horrible management and expensive, the whole place is crazy unorganized and ran poorly
Campsites are extremely close together with very little privacy. Very small, muddy beach area. Bathrooms for showering are nice. Dog park is helpful ????
Kathy and her husband Russ are awesome managers. They work hard to make the whole camping experience there the absolute best. The staff is wonderful. We have stayed here many times and it feels like a home away from home. Great job
Love this place. Clean facilities and friendly staff. Nice sites mostly and great little beach for kids. On our places to stay again list. Easy access from the highway
I absolutely loved our first stop here for 2 nights in june, we were right on the beach front, very clean & lovely staff. The on site restaurant was lovely the food was delicious as well as the wine. We hired a boat whilst here too, great start to what was an amazing holiday ????
Beautiful little RV park and marina
Kathy and Russ does an awesome job at the site. The site is well kept cleaned. I would be glad to always come back all the time I would highly recommend this place to family and friends. The ladies at the check in are so sweet. The are the loveliest people I have met. As soon as you check in they have a big smile on their faces and totally made my day.
Nope!
Staff was nice, but compared to the pictures online, our lot was very small with very little trees.
We camp at this rv park every year. Staff is very friendly and accommodating, campground and washrooms are all nice and clean. Managers Russ and Cathy are both extremely hardworking and keep this campsite a place that you want to return to year after year.
Nice family campsite. For rvs and trailer mostly
Lousy handicap facilities.
The cleanest bathrooms and laundry facilities. Nice spots but some are a but narrow. Beautiful location. Views amazing. A very quiet campground.
Our stay was ......OK.......the site we stayed in was very sandy. I couldn't keep my trailer or vehicle clean to save my life! The highway does run right past the campground therefore there is a lot of road noise, semis and their jake breaks right past the campground. They allow garbage trucks in at 6am which didn't impress me as I had a poor sleep due to the highway noise as it was and then the garbage trucks were the icing on the cake. I gave up trying for a decent sleep before our long drive home. The laundry room is nice $3 for washer and $3 for the dryer, seems a bit expensive......the bathrooms are clean but stink! I think if we return to Kelowna to camp we may try another park, this was definitely not a favourite.
They did a bunch of activities for kids while we were there which was great. Nice beach and dock, great little bay for kayaking with turtles
Had a great time. Couldn't keep my grandson out of the water.
Great place for family fun. All amenities are there, very clean.
I’m wintering here at Wood Lake RV Park Spend my summers in Yellowknife N.W.T. Been here two weeks, at this point I find this park to be one of the best I have stayed in. The management is kind and helpful, the park is clean and very well managed. Very happy with my decision to stay here, and even happier that the accepted me as a guest Haven’t been here long enough to give them the 5th star but I’m confident that by spring they will get it
Very cramped sites...duck poop all.over the beach...our neighbours sewer outlet was right next to our picnic table.
You won't be disapointed
Great amenities Lake Beach Marina and people
Booked 5 nights at the resort and we were really looking forward to lounging around our site and doing some swimming but that wasn't to be. Great check in but everything went down hill from there. Our site #60 was scattered with garbage and dog bones. The site was also full of tire wheel ruts which made walking dangerous. Sites are very cramped but we could have lived with all of this however 1 - We had the neighbors from hell. They allowed their 3 children to start playing loudly just after 6 am... no employees from the park came by to ask them to abide by quite time rules. 2 - Whart they call a beach is a joke.... it is a bitty little strip of sand full of floaties But the last straw was when my partner went to use the 1 of 2 washrooms (for almost 200 units) and all 3 of the mens showers were out of order. One of the other campers told him that they have been out of use the whole long weekend. Anyways one night was enough. Drove away without a refund as we were told upon arrival that no refunds are available after checkin.... possibly they know that there could be some guest leaving! Drove away and found a way nicer place in Peachland. Only giving the place a 2 star as the washrooms were very clean.
These sites are really close together - you're practically on top of each other. Excellent Wi-Fi, nice washrooms, decent playground. It does attract a certain type of camper (partiers) so if you're looking for a quiet evening, stay elsewhere.
(Translated) Fantastic campground nice staff and great service if you come after 20 clock you can look for a place and the next day register ???????????????? (Original) Traumhaft gelegener Campground nettes Personal und super Service wenn man nach 20 Uhr kommt kann man sich einen Platz suchen und am nächsten Tag registrieren ????????????????
Never went there
A good full hook up option near Kelowna. Facilities well maintained and staff friendly/helpful. Sites a little narrow, but beach front spots have table and firepit on the beach at the end of your site. So you spend more time there than down the side. We had a good experience here.
This place is so awesome, friendly staff, very accommodating, love it here!!!
Deluxe sites are really small. Main bathroom smelled really bad all the time. Pizza food truck is not worth the time or money. Store on site has very little to offer. But staff was great.
Nice sites , a little crowded. Staff are very friendly and informative.
(Translated) Keep away from this overpriced campsite. Pitches as in a sardine can or as battery chickens in the stable on the pole. The place clearly promises more on the homepage and in the brochures than it offers. All the good comments are not understood.
Summer months require minimum 5 day bookings. Gross beach for swimming.
We have had such a great time here. The office staff is friendly, helpful and the park has been lovely. I've been coming here since a kid and after a hiatus we'll be coming back for years to come
(Translated) Friendly and efficient welcome. Spacious and clean spaces. Very good sanitary facilities. Lots of trees. That happiness. And by the lake on top of that. (Original) Accueil sympathique et efficace. Espaces spacieux et propres. Sanitaires très bien. Bcp d'arbres. Que du bonheur. Et au bord du lac en plus.
Very well Run Park the staff is awesome perfect place
Fantastic campsite. Helpful people. Great prices. I've been there twice now and have been greatly impressed both times. My first visit was with my family and our fifth wheel. We got in at 11pm and were met with a sign saying drop-ins welcome along with a map showing which sites were still available. We paid in the morning and were surprised how good the rate was. I've since been back with a buddy and found that the tenting rates included up to two tents on one site and free WiFi. Site was quiet and well kept. Would definitely stay again.
