I am giving Lakeshore Beach one star because of the quality of water. It’s dirty, muddy and smelly. There is no reason to go to this beach when Kalamalka lake is cleaner, clearer and clutter free. Although the park is beautiful and I give that 5 stars. Has nice swings and a bocce ball out. Excellent when you need to challenge a relative for bragging rights This reviewer will not be going back when there are many better beaches on Kalamalka lake

Much better now that the city has cleaned it up. Road is in poor condition. City needs to purchase more land and move the road back to give more park on the waterfront. Should have been done years ago. Better money spent on this than an Arts center.

A modern and nicely landscaped park. Swings for the kids, giant adirondack chairs, picnic benches and places to lock your bike. Two gravel bocce courts and some green space with good tree cover. Limited (but free) parking; but the number of stalls seems appropriate to the capacity of the park itself. Limited beach front at high water level, and the sand was poorly maintained when we visited. But all-things-considered, it's a really nice place to lounge by the lake.
