What a great find! This cycle hire had the best prices around. We hired bikes for just under 3 hours and it was really affordable. You get helmets and a lock in the price. The shop is located really close to the entrance to the park. The people who work there were super nice. We highly recommend.

Rented 4 bike for my family (all adults) and a cousin's family (3 adults). Found the place no problem. After inquiring, I followed the blue circle P signs to the P2 level parking lot. 2 out of their 4 parking spaces were available so we parked for free at 1230 pm. Lined up in store and then completed their form on the provided tablet on the counter. After that we went outside to get our bikes. It was busy and it took about 15 minutes of waiting to get all our bikes. Bikes get returned almost all the time. Our bikes were an assortment of a one speed, a couple 3 speed cruisers and the rest were 18 speeds. Hubbie had a problem with his bike within a block so I returned it for another bike. Without asking, the staff member told me I would get a discount when I got the bill at the end. I ride a 3 speed cruisers and as a casual bike user, it was great for riding around Stanley park's seawalls. We stopped periodically to rest and take pictures, being careful to pull our bikes off the bike trail. Finished the circumference in less than 2 hours with great memories and a sense of accomplishment! The discount they gave me, was a free bike rental. Rented 4 bike, paid for 3. Very nice staff who works hard to get everyone their bikes and complete their orders. Great feature of free parking too if there spaces available when you go. Otherwise, city parking lots or meters. Thank you yes cycle for a great experience.

I had a wonderful experience with Yes Cycle Bike Rentals & Bike Tours this summer. I did the Stanley Park tour with Mateos and Austin (sorry if it isn't the right name-it was the history major). I was thinking of doing Stanley Park by myself but doing the bike tour was the best way to explore this massive beautiful park as you get to learn so much while having lots of fun. The tour was 3 hours and good for the average person (they let you walk if there were challenging hills (only a couple on the way back). I really enjoyed that Austin could provide lots of background information about the history of the area and I found that to be an asset in addition to general information on the tour. The tour guides were AMAZING. They were friendly and helpful and fun. I would recommend this experience to anyone getting to know Vancouver and this is a must do, so worth it.

please please change your procedures for your future customers. register your bikes (for free ) with the police. there is no reason why you should not be taking these precautions. get insurance. if not, tell the customer, there’s no insurance. don't assume we will read through pages of terms and conditions. or offer the insurance as a separate item, let us decide if we would like to take the risks. also tell your tourist customers that it is required by law to wear helmets in Vancouver. don’t assume we will read the laws / terms of conditions. make it as easy as possible for the customers. you should protect yourself and us and take the due diligence of ensuring we are properly informed and equipped to handle common local situations. there is a degree of care you should be taking if you are going to offer vehicles for rent that go onto public roads. That can be stolen and can hurt others.

The bikes were great, well maintained. The way the prices are calculated is exactly how it is supposed to work. Every bike is $8,50/hour and every hour a dollar cheaper. They don't round up 1h 20 mins to 2 hours. No childish moneymaking.

YES to YES Cycle Adventures! This is my favorite adventure store in town. If you're visiting Vancouver and need to rent equipment, this is the place to do it. We rented ski equipment and the staff was very helpful in finding the right fit. Also the electric bikes are a must - and the splurge on electric is worth it - we had so much fun! The staff at the store was especially helpful in giving guidance on places to tour with our bikes. Top notch service, superb equipment, and close to Stanley Park. WIN-WIN-WIN!

And the bikes were ridiculous, me and my brother both had our chains constantly fall off and I nearly fell. In addition, the gears kept changing by themselves. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

Long story short: Bad experience, not comfortable bikes, and extra charges. Not Recommended. Detail: We rent two bikes and a trail from Yes Cycle, this past Sunday. I am not sure if he gave me their worst bikes, or all of their bike are same. The seat was not comfortable at all, after 15 min I realized I can't seat on it for a long time, also mine because of the trail was not easy to control, my little son was sitting on the trail but it looked like I have a very heavy load attached to my bike. in the middle of the road instead of enjoying, I was just thinking of the shortcut to get back and end it. Finally we came back to the store, after an hour and 15 minuets, and they charged me for 3 hours, this is a rip off. They have 1 hour(you pay for 1 hour) , 1-3 hours (you pay for 3 hours). I just saw in the same street there are other Bike Rentals, and they charge by hour or by half an hour.

Do not rent here! My friend and I rented a tandem and the bike was not inspected properly. It was wobbly due to a mechanical issue and we ended up crashing within a minute of the shop. My friend in the front got thrown off the front. We brought the bike back and the man working there said the bike was broken. After the crash, my friend was laying over in pain and the shop employees provided no help.

Rented 3 bikes from here on a Sunday afternoon. There was about a 15 min wait for a bike since it was a busy day, but it was no problem. The staff were very friendly to us and gave us complimentary water bottles for waiting, which came in super handy as we biked the seawall and needed some hdyration! The rate was also affordable, and it is what drew us to rent from here instead of some of the more expensive places around the area. Will definitely rent from here the next time around!

It was first time renting an e-bike with some friends. We prebooked at Denman location & August (staff) greeted us, explained how to use e-bike, disinfected before we started. We booked 5hr rental which came with helmet & lock. We were able to bike Stanley Park Seawall twice, eat lunch, take some pics and play tourist. E-bikes make your ride give that extra speed especially for uphill or if you don’t have as much energy for long haul. Recommended!

Rental was fast and easy to do online. You wait outside the store and someone comes out and asks which type of bike you'd like. I had a small dog with me and they gave me a larger basket to put on free of charge whereas Spokes charges $5. We weren't given locks but helmets were included. Not sure if they were sanitized before every usage as they seemed very busy. For 2 of us, 3 hour rentals came to a total of $40.

First time renting from Yes Cycle. We booked online but had a question regarding the agreement as it asked us a question regarding a safety check prior to us physically seeing the bikes. We called the shop and the staff working that evening was able to ease our concern regarding signing off on it. We looked over the bikes prior to leaving the shop. We booked e-bikes for 3-5 hours and our countdown didn't start until we left the shop. August (staff) was great, and let us know that all bill adjustments will be made when we return the bikes, which meant that if we returned them under 3 hours, we would not have had to pay the rental for 3-5 hours. We were booked for 10AM but didn't leave the shop until 11AM (we arrived late due to traffic but notified the shop, no issue). She ensured that we were only charged for the actual time that we used the bikes. We had a great experience dealing with Yes Cycle. The e-bikes were in good condition. August provided some instructions on how to use them. We enjoyed our time riding around the Stanley Park seawall.

My review is way overdue. We visited Vancouver in late May and I cannot say enough good things about this experience. Yes bicycle rental shop accommodated us for anything we needed. Mateo was our guide for the Stanley Park Bicycle tour and he was nothing short of sensational. We had issues with our youngest rider on a bike and he was patient with him and kind. He took us back to the shop after we already started our tour to accommodate us by putting him on a tandem and riding the tandem bike with my son himself throughout Stanley Park. He was knowledgeable about all aspects of the tour and had a continuous smile on his face. He made our day and experience memorable and it was a 10/10!

One of our bikes got stolen while locked up with the locks provided by YES Cycles. YES CYCLES does not provide insurance for stolen rented bikes, nor do they inform their guests that this is the case upon hiring the bike. They charged us $500 for a 'lost' bike - They also had no idea which bike we had rented so were unable to provide us with the details of the bike so we could provide them to the police for the report we also had to file. Also if we had not informed them the bike was stolen there is no way they would have known we were the ones who had not returned a bike as they had no record of which bike we took. Totally disorganised, and unfair way to run a rental store. Go somewhere else!

Yes Cycle was great. Sophia, in particular, was delightful. My girl friend and I, many decades away from “girls” were anxious about everything: the bikes, the path, finding the path, not getting killed. Sophia was patient, encouraging, and told us to ride the perimeter first and showed us the prettiest way to see the Stanley Park interior. We did exactly what she said and it was great advice. Sophia is great at her job. A word about path etiquette. We had stopped on the path to get oriented and got yelled at by some zipping by locals. Make sure when you pull over, you are out of the main path. Except for this yelling dude, everyone else on the path was delightfully friendly with a nice community of tourists taking pictures for each other.

We visited Yes Cycle the last two days to rent bikes to tour Stanley Park. With two young children we rented the tandem bikes and it went so well we came back again the next day as well. The workers were very friendly and helpful, and the bikes were fine. The only downside was the second night when we came back into the parking garage, two cars that were parked next to us were broken into and had items stolen. As we came off the elevator, we saw a family surrounding their rental car that had the entire back window of their SUV smashed out and their luggage stolen out of the back. We also noticed that car next to them had windows smashed out as well as the floor was covered in glass. If you park on this lot DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING OF VALUE IN YOUR CAR! Apparently this is a pretty big issue in Vancouver and while it may be common sense, you really need to make sure you have nothing of value in the car or at least in sight when parking here.

The staff at Yes Cycle was very friendly and I was able to rent a trailer bike as a standalone as opposed to other stores in the area. Even though they were rather busy on a sunny long weekend and understaffed, you definitely can tell they are still making a good effort so everyone is attended to. Will definitely return again for any bike rental needs if I'm in the area.

We rented 2 x bikes from Yes Cycle including an ebike for my wife who had never used one before. We found Yes Cycle to be professional, easy process, friendly, helpful and a handy location to Stanley Park. They have good rental costs and conditions in that if you go over the hour you are only charged for the additional time past the hour instead of being charge for a full additional hour which some other bike rentals charge.They have good quality bikes and the staff are very good at selecting a suitable bike and setting it up and give a thorough and easy explanation of how to use the electric bike. We were on holidays from Australia and would definately recommend Yes Cycle Bike rentals

She was incredibly knowledgeable, loves what she does, and is constantly smiling. So much so that we ended up renting 2 bikes and had a great time playing tourists in our own city. Stanley Park to North Van via the Lions’ Gate Bridge, back to Stanley Park and over to English bay across to Gastown and back to the store. Upon return we were efficiently looked after. Super close to Stanley park, parking is a headache though. Pay attention to where you're turning, if you get on the wrong street, there's no u-turn and you'll have to cross the bridge. You'll recognize the place with the purple shirt staff on the side walk. Price is decent and bikes works fine. $7 for first hour and $1 less each subsequent hour ($6, $5 etc). Rate is prorated so that's nice. Everything is included in the price (bike, lock, basket, helmet).

The workers were super nice and helpful when my friend and I wanted to rent an electric bike and regular bike to go around Stanley Park. They made sure the bike seats were the right height, made sure we had locks and helmets, gave us a map with directions, even when we came in after we were rained on they gave us towels to wipe down our wet hair and faces. Super nice and helpful. The bikes rode well. They were a little bulky for their size but I get why the company would have a heavy duty bike.

Staff are very friendly and knowledgable. You have to fill out a form before riding, so I would fill it out ahead of time/book an appointment ahead of time. They give you helmets and a bike lock with your rental. I think their tandem bike is a bit big and clunky compare to nearby bike rental shops. Prices are fair but some nearby places are a bit cheaper for tandem bike rentals.

Halfway through the sea wall my legs felt irritated, and it actually ended up irritating the same spot so much that it got cut open. This place has exceptional customer service. We rented snowboarding equipment from them and they were so helpful and friendly despite how busy they were with inventory and other customers. On the way back to return the equipment we got stuck in traffic and when we got to the store, two of the employees had just locked up and were walking away. We jumped out of the car and explained our situation and the awesome employees reopened the store to let us in to return our gear. We were leaving the city the next morning before the store was open so I’m not sure what we would have done! My only complaint would be that the binding on my snowboard broke while I was out riding but I was able to rig it to last the rest of the time I was out there. Thanks for being so friendly and helpful Yes Cycle! We will definitely be using you guys again when we’re in the area.

I rented a e-bike today, and I receive one of the best customer service here at Yes Cycle Bike. The situation is this, I lost power all in a sudden, and I called the number on the bike for help. The customer service by the name August patiently tries to troubleshoot for me, but did not work. And the manager or the owner of the store (forgot to ask his name) also patiently help me to resolve the issue, but not hope. He then offer me to take a taxi back to the location at his cost and insist to apologise and willing to not charge my fee. I am sincerely sorry and do not want to trouble them for an extra cost of the taxi so I insist to return them by cycling back. Til the end, I took more time than expected to return and they both waited for me even after hours. I think this is the best customer service you can ever get from them, and I offer tips as my gratitude to the situation. I will 100% come back again for my next rental. Alex

Visited this bike rental place once a year for the last 3 years when I felt a little touristy. It’s so easy to book a bike with them and the prices are reasonable. You can reserve your bike online before going to the store, and when you get there they usually have your bike waiting outside for you, so you don’t have to wait a long time to get going. One time I got a squeaky bike and had to turn around and bring it back, but they exchanged it without hesitation and it didn’t affect my rental time. If you want to be a tourist and ride around Stanley park this is a great place to rent from, and they’re right next to the bike path leading into the park.

Super friendly and super helpful! I rolled in my commuter bike when a screw holding my rear rack snapped. The staff were very keen to help me out. After advising me on what I could do at home to take out the snapped screw, they somehow secured the rack onto my bike with zip ties! I didn't have to take the bus and was able to ride home without further blips! They didn't even want any cash for the zip ties. 5/5 business. Will direct friends here when they want to rent a bike

Great service with friendly staff, me and my friend wanted to grab a couple of bikes to cycle around Stanley Park. So we walked up to Yes Cycle and rented out some rides. I opted for one of the electric ones as I'd never tried one before. All in all, decent quality bikes at affordable rental prices.

I’ve rented here for several of times and I already recommended this store to my friends who’re willing to go skiing. What attracts me of this store is the service of this store and the good quality of gears. I like skiing, and yes cycle supplies me the ski gears and clothing which make me feel really nice. And I found the those gears include snowboard and boots and bindings are very technical for a snowboarder, so it gave me an excellent impression of snowboarding when I was still a beginner. Next time I’ll definitely come to this store for renting stuffs . And another reason I like this store is the staff here are all friendly and patient for choosing clothing for me. :) see u next time!

We rented two adult bikes and wanted to rent trailer cycles for our kids, but after trying them out decided to go with kids bikes instead. Trailer cycles were so unstable that it was impossible for our boys to keep the balance. The guy in the shop made a comment implying that this was our kids lack of skills (even though he saw them riding kids bike with no training wheels). Well it's harder to ride the trailer cycle than a regular bike, something tells me it's not a good product. We have a trailer cycle at home and it doesn't have this issue. The second problem was that although the rate goes $5/hour with $1.25 for every 15 minutes for every bike you rent, we were charged for 4 hours after returning bikes after a little bit over 3 hours. By the way, they give you the card with check-in time before your bikes are ready and stop the clock when you pay. So if there is a line ahead of you in the store, guess what - you pay for staying in the line. No grace period either. I am giving them 2 stars only because the bikes we rented were okay and when we came next day with the receipt we could get our money back for those last 45 minutes that we didn't have bikes except tax.

I rented a bike to tour Stanley Park for a few hours last week. Iman was incredibly helpful! It was a wet day with melting snow, so he recommended a bike with guards on the tires, which kept me dry. He also told me about potential path closures and the sunset timing. The pricing was affordable for a lock + bike + helmet, and my bike was in tip top shape with gearing and brakes. I highly recommend this place, thanks again Iman!

Wonderful experience!!! The staff was efficient and informative. The bikes were perfect for the riding we did in Stanley Park and the paths around Vancouver. Rental cost was very very reasonable. The store front may not have had the pizzazz of Spokes, but you cannot beat the value you get at Yes!!! Would absolutely use again next time in Vancouver.
