A lot of room to anchor, a lot of mooring bouys, well protected from wind and waves. Beautiful white shell beach makes you feel like your somewhere tropical. Great hikeing and amazing red arbutus trees hanging from the sea cliffs.

Great spot to go camping with the family. We had a walk in site. They provide wheel barrels for you to carry your gear in on nice wide well groomed pathways. There is a bit of a hill to push up, but otherwise pretty simple. It only took three trips for a family if four. There is drinking water on site nice and close to most sites. There are also great views from most of the walk in sites. Outhouses are kept clean and tidy. Sites are nicely cleaned after each use. There is a nice shell beach for swimming with decent amounts of natural shade. Firewood and ice can be purchased on site, nothing else. Tahe the "Pub Bus" to the Hummingbird Pub for a fun experience with Tommy the driver, he is a character for sure!! Pub food is good as well.

Just a wonderful small park. Great for dogs and kids. I went in the winter so I didn't swim, but by the looks of it this would be amazing for swimming. Great trails, lots of little detours. The White Shell Beach is just gorgeous!

Absolutely beautiful site. The park operators here are doing a great job keeping it clean and safe. The only downside were the numerous raccoons stalking our site --- but I was very pleased to see a food cash at each site to keep the food secure. Just be very careful about putting all your food away.

This is a nice spot for families to enjoy the beach or go for an easy hike around the edge of the bay close to the water. The hike is a loop that ends up back at the parking lot. Some areas allow you to drop down to small beaches along the route.

The most quaint, beautiful and scenic walk I've been on, without hiking atop a hill or mountain. It loops around and has a beautiful view of the harbour, the ocean, the cliffs and the beauty that the Pacific Northwest has to offer. These beaches are almost tropical in their look, and in the summer would be a wonderful reprieve from the heat.

Excellent place for some biking, boating, and hiking as well camping in some areas. Beautiful park with a lot to see. Very quiet and serene, lush vegetation with trees that seem to reach into the sky. I've never seen a beach made of shells before, it was an awesome experience. The water is very calm and clear, take the time to walk in the water and on the beach. Stop and check out the cool marine life during low tide.

Great place to come for a stay, nice and sheltered, good holding in a muddy/sandy bottom if you want to anchor, dock is popular too, lots of options for places explore on the island, worth taking the old school bus to the hummingbird Inn, the bus experience isnt one to be missed!

Such an amazing place to camp or visit while on the Gulf islands. The beachcombing is amazing, rock formations and tons of history. Some car camping spots and walk in sites. Very well kept and great experience for families. The only downside are the pit toilets.

Whether you are a boater or a "car camper" this is one fabulous park. Boaters will find dozens of mooring buoys and a huge anchorage in relatively well protected shallow water. Campers will find dozens of level sites with tent platforms, picnic tables, food storage boxes, plentiful restrooms, and gorgeous views. There is an easy but interesting hike around Gray Point.

This place has a good vibe. It was well taken care of and the ground keepers were wonderful. They have ice cream for the kids, but make sure you bring cash. There isn't the best beach exploration for kids, it's mostly being in the woods and looking out over the bay. I wanted to visit the marine discovery centre, but it was closed.

DON'T STAY HERE!!!! Not family friendly, at all. We are a family of 6, 2 adults with 4 children. When we arrived after the office was closed, a man came to our campsite, told us we needed to register and why didn't we have reservations, even though it was after labor Day so you can't make reservations. I was using my generator to power the air pump to blow up our air mattresses and he ordered us to shut it off because it was after 8pm and you can only use a generator from 9-11am and 6-8 pm there. The children were playing at 5:00 pm, an employee came over to our campsite and ordered the children to keep it down. She didn't politely ask, she ordered. They were playing hide and seek, a pretty quiet game. Rude people work there. Kids can't play there. They won't make an exception to the rules (that we didn't know about because the office was closed when we arrived) so children don't have to sleep on the ground. Will never return. Horrible place to stay.

10/10 the best Harbour Marine Park I’ve ever been to on Galiano Island. Also possibly the only one. The trails are wonderful and relaxed and shady while still providing amazing views of the water. It’s fun to watch sailboats stroll into the bay and weigh anchor. I had a wonderful time on the beach where the beautiful white sand is actually just a million smoothed out sea shells! It’s a beautiful place.

Beautiful place but some of the staff are pretty useless. The first night the young lady knew I didn't have a car and didn't even mention how they have a big problem with raccoons. I hung my food but not completely properly for raccoons and they got my food. Next day I left some dishes out to dry and the older man who works there picked them up, which is fine, but he then threw one of my pots in the garbage because it had a little bit of black of the bottom. Not even giving any time to see if somebody comes back for it. He then proceeds to tell me that it was a 2 dollar pot, it was actually an msr set for backpacking, and that he isn't going to dig through the garbage to get it. The lady who works there starts to defend him but goes into the garbage herself to get my pot. All in all terrible customer service but pretty nice campground.

Decent walk around around the peninsula. A leisurely 30 min walk. Watch out when ducking under fallen trees on the shore. I ducked under one only to crack my head on a branch sticking out just behind it. Interesting how many broken shells are left behind from previous inhabitants. Must have really loved shellfish.

You can easily dangle your feet (or submerge your body) in the straits of Juan de Fuca. Lots of rest stops (very clean and kept supplied with hand sanitizer and toilet paper). Loved it!!!

Great place to relax and get away. We've been here camping and boating, both great! The poor cell reception in the harbour adds to the experience. A great beach on the north west side offers one of the best sunset spots in the gulf islands.

A fantastic campsite. 10 of us camped in 3 different walk-in sites. The entire site is well maintained, features drinkable water, garbage and refundable containers, and nice outhouses. They had wheelbarrows which are very handy for the walk-in sites. A gorgeous white shell beach is just a 5 minute walk from the sites, and it has incredible sunsets!

Really not a lot to write home about. Pretty much any beach on the island is better. When the tide is out it is particularly green and slimy. If you need a boat launch then its great but otherwise there are much better, less crowded beaches. Had to check it out since everyone raves about it but I was pretty disappointed...

This is such a beautiful calm lovely spot to pull up to a mooring buoy and relax. Plus you take the dinghy in and go to the restaurant for some yummy creative food. Their hot sauce is awesome! Lots of beauty and fun here!

Fantastic Campsites. The overflow field does have a couple of furry raccoon friends, but once we moved up to a beautiful cliff side campsite, all was well. Great views, reasonable beach, a nice small hike near by as well. The Campground staff were exceptionally accommodating too :)
