The room looked clean at first glance, and the staff left a flyer stating how much they care on the cleaning and that they sanitize door knobs, tv remote etc.. few seconds later I saw a used woman underwear on the floor close to the bed. The underwear was blue and pretty visible, if the missed it means they didn't even bother to use the vacuum. For the price you're paying this is totally unacceptable!

We had our small wedding here back in May. It turned out lovely and the staff were amazing upon check in when we had a few hiccups. Our suite was beautiful and it over looked false creek. I recommend this hotel for any event, big or small! A big thank you to Jorin for organizing everything for us and being patient with me.

Check out process wasn’t awesome. Paid for park and dine and almost ended up paying extra for parking at the end. Also, got offered a room upgrade for a one-time cost of $150 at check-in but ended up being $150 per night (this was fixed luckily). Seems like internal communications aren’t the best but great looking place overall.

We booked Parq for our wedding accommodation and would definitely recommend. Ahmet was fantastic to work with and helped us book rooms. The bridal party got ready in a suite that was absolutely gorgeous! It was a corner unit with amazing views and perfect lighting for the photographer. They were also able to accommodate all our special requests and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect.

I visited the Parq for the first time for my boyfriend and I's 1 year anniversary! We usually stay at Marriott hotels, but we wanted to try one of the nicer ones in vancouver. Upon our arrival everyone was so nice and welcoming! We got to the front desk and we were assisted by Mayra, words cant even describe how lovely she was! She was so kind and it was a little busy, so had she apologized for the wait on multiple occasions and made us feel very special, even though we did not feel like the wait was long at all! The package we bought online (which is amazing) included a room upgrade so she did her VERY best to get us the best room with a gorgeous view, she was successful in the end and we were so so happy with everything. They brought us champagne up to our room, they always answered the phones when we called, they accommodated everything to the max level. Five stars is RIGHT! The service, the people, the food! We also went to Honey salt and Victor which are both located in the hotel, both are AMAZING! The servers, the hosts, everyone was so lovely. this was one of the best experiences at a hotel i have ever had and i have stayed at a lot of Vancouver Hotels. We will 1000% be coming back! If you decide to stay here, please do and ask for Mayra at the front desk, she is really incredible!!!!!!!!

If you want to enjoy a fair casino you should stay away from the Marriott. They will be happy to take your money when a foul happens on the table, but as soon as a foul happens that benefits the players they will take your money. The rooms also missed out on the one request for them, one bottle of champagne. This is honestly a very poorly run hotel. I give 2 starts because the beds had sheets on them.

I didn’t had a very good experience. Stayed two nights. The rooms have heaters that make so much noise I couldn’t sleep. Called the for help and was told there is no way to shut the fan. Go figure. Lousy coffee machine coffee tasted like a dirty water. Sorry don’t have very good things to say.

My only complaint with this hotel is that we were placed in an adjoining room beside a baby that ruined my ability to sleep and enjoy our room. Other than that the hotel is lovely and staff are very friendly. Great location beside Rogers Arena if we are ever able to attend hockey games again.

This hotel is awesome. Well located, great restaurant and amazing staff. I dont write reviews often but i had to do it. First, we get welcomed warmly. We had a problem with hotels.com reservation and the staff fixed it in less than 5 minutes. I would like to specially mention Dan for his professional and amazing service. Dan listens to his customers and I have no words to describe the quality of his service. What I can tell you is that if he is looking for a job in Montreal I will hire him immediately. We were passing through for only one night but we loved it so much that we renewed for one more night. I highly recommend.

So, for our wedding night, we booked a suite at the JW Marriott Parq Vancouver. This whole experience is amazing! They Front office team was really pleasant throughout the whole experience. We visited the hotel a week upfront to check it out. They showed us the suite and provided all answers and assistance for whatever we needed. So today we checked in and the room was really nice, it is a beautiful suite which offers everything you can expect. A great view, a spacious living room, and a lovely bathroom. Then, after check-in, we went out to grab dinner, and when we got back, this tray was in our room with a handwritten message whising us a lovely stay, a beautiful wedding and to top it of they gave us a really nice bottle of prosecco and a tasty desert. Great bar, didn't stay at this Marriott, but it looks great. Took an Uber to our downtown Marriott and had to go to the lower level to catch the ride. Seemed like they wanted us out of the way. Server at bar was very knowledgeable about the local beers and I appreciated his expertise. Will be back and will stay there next time.

Our Christmas staff party is to be held at the Marriott hotel restaurant we decided to treat our team to a night stay at the hotel after the dinner party . This decision proved to be a huge mistake. The process of reserving 10 rooms under the Company name has been a night mare. It has taken 32 E. mails, and countless hours on the phone to make a group booking, for 10 rooms, at the hotel. After, we signed a contract, and Our Rooms were reserved, and the reservation was confirmed, we were told the room reservation was cancelled . After Many hours on the phone the rooms were re- reserved but we were charged for double the rooms we booked. When I called to see why the Visa charges were double the Quoted amount, I received an Absent alert message , from the person I was dealing with. Our E. mails go un answered. I cannot understand how one reservation could be botched up in so many ways. In my opinion, as a small business owner; The Main problem is not 1 person is in charge. Every time i called we got a new person and we had to re explain what we needed. I have been re routed to the reservation team back east and even to Mexico. We have not set foot in the hotel as yet, it will not matter how great the rooms will be or how friendly the staff are. The process of booking 10 rooms has been such a night mare we will never want to repeat the stressful ordeal. If you are a Company looking to book for your team, Look else where. Booking a holiday treat for your team member and yourself should be a relaxing and exciting time not a stressful way to spend your time and money.

The hotel is beautiful. Staff are attentive, and the rooms well decorated. But the several rooms that are directly next to the elevator cause huge problems. We were woken up several times through the night with rowdy patrons leaving the elevator door within 10' of our rooms door. The doors don't provide enough noise buffering at all.

The hotel was clean and comfortable but the self parking is a complete cash grab. No sign to explain its $42 a night to park in the underground as no valet was available. I could have parked on the Street in front of the hotel for $12 over night.

Regardless of whether you win or lose, this is a great place to play poker. The poker room is on its own level from the slots so you don't get the VLT noise all night, staff are super friendly characters, and the crowd is interesting and fun. Took me a while to find this place but now that I have, I don't think I'll go anywhere else. Recommend!

The staff really makes this hotel stand out. Situated within walking distance of the Rogers Arena, Yaletown and the Telus Science museum, the view from the rooms is rivaled only by the beauty of the hotel design. It is comfortable and rewarding. But that is eclipsed by how impressive the hotel staff. They are smart. They were able to handle everything we needed and did so with such kindness. Even when I’m haggardly returning from outdoor activities or flying in at a late hour. They treated me like their favorite guest. Special thanks to Catherine Wan. She checked us in and gave us tips on our stay in the city as well as our stay in the hotel. I marveled at the smart way she answered whether or not something was worth seeing. She looked out for us first and let us know what was worth visiting or not.

We love Van City! When we visit, we usually stay at the Pinnacle across town, but this time we stayed at the Parc. Holy cow, it has become our new home while in town! This JW is amazing...beautiful views of the city and fabulous accommodations. We had a high floor corner suite and really enjoyed not only the view, but the room itself. A one star review seems very generous for this hotel/casino at this point. Here is my story at the JW Marriott. On December 19, 2021 at approximately 1:00am my fiancé and I were thrown out of Parq casino. I put a hold chip at the blackjack table to go use the restroom and when I returned we were being escorted out by security. I was shocked and confused. I was able to cash out my chips but left my very expensive jacket on the chair at the black jack table. Security was forceful and did not give me the chance to collect my thoughts let alone my things. When I asked why we were being kicked out they replied that my fiancé was drunk. This came to a surprise to me because neither me or my fiancé are heavy drinkers. My fiancé was buying shots for some friends that we made at the casino but we did not show signs of drunk behavior. At this point we were at the bottom of the escalator by the entrance/exit. I asked the security guards what made them think we were drunk and they replied "you guys just need to leave." This made me upset because I wanted a clear answer. What behavior did he or I myself exhibit that made you feel as if we were drunk. When I realized I left my jacket at the casino table I told them I needed to retrieve it. They did not acknowledge my request. When I said I was not leaving until I got my jacket they became forceful and started shoving me. Mind you, I am a 5'2 110lbs FEMALE against 6 security guards who are all twice my size. They pushed me and shoved me to leave and I told them that this was ASSAULT. I called 911 at approximately 1:32am. But I was disgusted that 6 men ganged up on me to throw me out when I was no threat to anyone. I then requested names for security guards since they do not wear badges with names on them. The only security guard that did have a name badge, COVERED HIS BADGE AND TURNED AROUND when I asked for his name. Come to find out he is a Supervisor named BROCK. All of BROCK's security buddies became provoked that I asked and started shouting at me saying "he had nothing to do with this! Don't bring him into this!" At this point, I was in tears because this was such an unprofessional and TRAUMATIZING experience. My fiancé was consoling me and told me we should leave and contact management the following day. The following day on December 20, 2021, I called head of security and BROCK answered. He said no one else was available and he was the supervisor so I decided to wait another day. The day after on December 21, 2021, I called head of security again and someone named Sam answered. He took down my information, name, number and email and said I would get a call back. Never did. They also would not tell me who the head of security so I would never know who to contact besides Brock. The fact that Brock is a supervisor and allowed the other men to assault me speaks volumes about this hotel and it's integrity. My fiance and I were loyal to JW Marriott Parq Vancouver, we always played at the Casino, dined at Honeysalt, and stayed at the hotel several times a year when I visited from California. Parq Vancouver will never get business from us again. I can not speak badly about the other staff but the security guards are evil, abusive, conniving and operate like thugs. They are also great at covering situations like this up. A response to this review will look something like this, "At Parq Vancouver, we are committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment for all our guests. We have reviewed the camera footage and the security guards took the necessary steps to ensure their safety etc" But here is my response to that: I encourage you to review the camera footage and post it so everyone can see how your security guards treat young women who can not defend themselves. Brock and his team that night need to be fired and they are fortunate I am not taking legal action against them. JW Marriott Parq Vancouver, please do better than this and do not allow this to happen to anyone ever again

One of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in! The room was near perfect. It had the nicest bathroom I have ever seen in a hotel! The entire hotel is pristine. The "Honey Salt" lobby restaurant and lounge was great, and had some really good food. The Salmon board for breakfast was delicious and plentiful. It is a short walk to the water and the Harbour, also right next to the Stadium and arena. Only a short 5 minute walk to all the restaurants in Yaletown. I would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I were celebrating my birthday, after living downtown for several years and moving away we decided to book a weekend stay downtown; the Marriott seemed a great choice. From our first experience with the staff everything was awesome! We are definitely going to come back.

I recently spent a night at this hotel. I stayed in a studio room with water view. The view from the room was a partial water view, as there were tall towers on both sides, partially obstructing the view of False Creek. Nonetheless, the view was pleasant enough. The room itself was clean, modern and well appointed. The furnishings were adequate and comfortable. The bed was firm and provided a good night's sleep. The bathroom was large and included a stand-alone tub. The toiletries provided (Molton Brown) were a pleasure to use, but were not in single-use individual containers, which I found surprising given the current pandemic. The low water pressure and lukewarm water temperature made showering less pleasant than it ought to be. My interactions with hotel staff were always extremely positive - staff are welcoming, courteous, helpful and professional. I dined exclusively at both attached restaurants, Honey Salt and The Victor, and had very enjoyable and memorable meals throughout my stay. The hotel is located conveniently in Yaletown near False Creek, and neighbourhood parks and the seawall are just minutes away. Overnight parking at Parq Vancouver is expensive but very convenient. Overall, I greatly enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would have no hesitation recommending it to others.

No room service menu. Really low quality hair dryer like those $10 one you can find in 2 star hotels and only works in certain way (probably wire broken inside the cord). The upside is Very quiet stay and good view for the room.

I try not to leave 1 stars but had multiple disappointing experiences with this place. Had a few questions and decided to call in, and the phone was constantly going to voicemail. Not sure where the front desk staff are but called multiple times around noon, and no one picked up. The only line that had a waiting feature was for reservations, and when I got through to them, was told to call another department. Got passed around with no one able to answer my questions or to constant voicemails. This happened on multiple different days. Eventually had to drive downtown to ask for help in person. Ended up not staying here due to frustration. The facility seemed beautiful inside, but the fact that phone service was completely absent, a basic fundamental, makes it a 1 for me.

This hotel was cool, the design was cool and modern as it is a new hotel. The staff are friendly and being attached to multiple great restaurants is definitely a perk. I didn’t gamble but it is cool that it is attached to a casino. Had to pay for wifi which was weird for a high end hotel. Valet was a bit disorganized but it was a nice stay nonetheless.

We visited the lounge on the main floor - there were stains on the rug and appears that the furniture was dated. Maybe that is what the Parq intended! The suite on the 15th floor was not what we expected for the price we paid. The view was ok. This was an upgraded room!

Hotel staff are extremely nice.. and the hotel is beautiful. The only thing I would say stops it from being 5 stars is that the bathroom has no bath tub. We stayed at the Pacific Rim for a conference and all the rooms had tubs so I figured this one would to. We brought the baby this time and found out they only have showers in their standard rooms. Came for a work Christmas party and in general, the experience was top notch. Great looking space. Friendly staff from the moment I came in the front door directing me to the correct room. Delicious food and friendly bar staff. All in all, a solid night. The one drawback is the difficulty in finding a taxi out at the end of the night. The hotel staff forces you to make a journey into the underground parking garage to wait for one, and when we got there, we found dozens of people waiting in a concrete hallway and it was clear that we would not be leaving for quite some time. I can't understand why a high-end hotel would do this to their patrons. We left and walked out and onto Smithe Street and hailed a taxi in under a minute.

This place was one of the nicer hotels at a reasonable price I’ve had the pleasure of staying with. The staff was fantastic. Location is convenient and the room was gorgeous, clean and bright. The bathroom was phenomenal. TV was current and there was more going on in the restaurant itself than you could consume in an evening. Rain shower head in a frosted glass floor to ceiling @ 10-12’ height. It also had a hose head for rinsing soap off. The toilet was in its own similar enclosure to allow use of sink and shower and toilet of multiple people. The bed was absolutely fantastic with soft clean and white sheets and plenty of pillows. We had a view over the water and privacy windows with curtains and black out blinds. Room service was fast and polite. Can’t recommend it enough.

However when leaving we ran into a situation where we were not able to get the cab we had ordered to the airport so when we finally flagged one down with just enough time to get to the airport in time, one of the staff members told us we were not allowed to get into the cab and sent the driver to the underground parkade where we had previously waited 20 minutes for a ride (the attendant in the parkade said it should be 10 minutes at most and then I overheard him talking to a staff member and said it was closer to 30 or 40 minutes... why the lie?) despite us advising this staff member of the situation. I've traveled quite a lot and stayed in many luxury hotels. This JW Marriott is one of the best. The rooms are spacious. Everything is beautifully decorated and comfortable. The gym is terrific. The staff went out of their way to insure our comfort and well being. Wonderful experience.

Spectacular views & service that matches. Firstly — I love the JW brand, they train their team to do the right thing and truly care about the guest experience. Their rooms offer an abundance of storage space, their gym is fantastic and equipped for upper push/pull & lower body days… and then there are the restaurant choices like Honey Salt. Had a great stay here around Halloween. Great room. Great location. I especially appreciated the security checking room cards prior to the elevator. And since the club lounge was closed due to COVID, you were able to order your breakfast the night before and have it delivered. Very nice touch! ♥ A month prior I had stayed at a different hotel nearby, where the room was about the same price, and had a much worse experience with the room and the service. Will be coming back! ♥

The hotel is not the same. It is not full service anymore. We learned this at checkout when we said our room had not been cleaned. Turns out you have to request cleaning services now. The tissues were out. Toilet paper was very low (needed to conserve). Ordered clean towels through the app and then they are brought to your room. This is not 5* anymore. Now an AirBNB.

I had an amazing time at the Parq will definitely be coming back! It's so great that the Casino is just right there and there are so many restaurants around and things to do. However, a few days after going into the hot tub I got a really bad rash all over my body and the doctors advised I had Hot Tub Folliculitis so I was really grossed out... so never going into their hot tub again... they have only 1 small hot tub for the entire hotel and all the guests so I guess I shouldn't be surprised but I've been suffering from the bacterial infection for over a week now and is super itchy :'(... had to go on antibiotics...

Okayish hotel. Definitely not a 5 stars, the rooms were okay. We got one on the 12th floor with no view and close to the elevators. There are much better hotels in Vancouver for the same price and better prestations. The drinks at the bar were good, although it closed early (around 11pm) the restaurant closes way too early (around 9pm). If you come here for the casino, it’s convenient. Otherwise, it’s decent for sleeping (the bed was extremely comfortable) and the room service is upon request.

Do Not stay here ever!!! I travel a lot. This is the worst experience ever. We called ahead and asked if we could check in at 2 and they said no problem. We got there at 2:30pm and he made us wait forever. Check in was terrible. When I got back to my car, in their underground, I found a parking ticket. They blamed their own parking lot people. I had to get into a long line to finally get it excused. Horrendous.

I arrived at the hotel on the day of, 4pm because they told me I cannot check in earlier, and what do I get. "Sorry your room had TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES with leakage problem and we are fully booked so let us change your SUITE to 2 GUESTROOMs." Just curious if they will do that to penthouse guests too. The hotel has a wide variety of services and excellent guest services. It also provides great food in its restaurants. The rooms are nice, but there are a few things that you would expect from a five star hotel. The toilet paper is rough.... You would expect something friendlier. The room's have inconsistent water pressure in the shower and there was only 1 bed sheet. These little details make you wonder if they really comply with thorough checks of their rooms once in a while. The hotel location is excellent and the views are unmatched. If I ever stay again, I will check the shower and sheets right away, and probably bring my own toilet paper...

We had an awesome stay at JW Marriott Parq Vancouver! It was so comfortable that we couldn't wait to go back to our suite. Beds were like sleeping on cloud nine. Shower feels like a spa especially their super soft robes and wonderful bath products. Our suite had a spectacular panoramic view of the harbor. A beautiful sunrise with mountains. Then at night you get an exciting LED light show of the science centre dome, BC place, and Olympic Village with a mirror image on the harborfront water. Guest services were super friendly and accommodated all of our requests. Mila coffee ☕ maker and refills of the pods anytime plus bottled water.
