Here you have all the opinions of people who are using the products and services of Executive Hotel Vintage Park Vancouver (Park) in Vancouver (Canada).
To this day this business has a score of 3.7 stars over 5 and the rating is based on 127 reviews.
You must have seen that the average score it has is good, and it's based on a very large number of feddbacks, so we may conclude that the score is very accurate. If many people have bothered to give their score when they are satisfied with the business, is that it works.
You know that we don't usually stop to give tatings when these are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
I did not like seeing people shooting up drugs outside close to the hotel
Worst hotel in the world. Construction on both sides of the hotel will keep you up day and night. Rats were spotted. Rudest staff. Booked and paid through third party booking website, once I got to the hotel and checked in. They decided they wanted to up the price and I had to pay hundreds more “because they didn’t mean to have bookings on other websites” and that’s the customers fault. Doesn’t even have tea or coffee - literally nothing. Stained sheets and towels. Worst stay of my life
Good place. Nice staff and great service
Customer service is great but they do not serve anything at night. Vegetarian food in lunch was pathetic! Overall experience 4/5!!
Spent 3 nights regarding mandatory quarantine. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food is served in a timely manner, however I didn’t like the taste and the quality. Actually the food has poor quality and I am leaving the hotel by a severe stomachache!!! The rooms are old fashion designed and decorated but clean (except the carpets) Worst of all is the internet connection. It is like you do not have access to the internet! Cause you barely can check your email let alone doing video calls!! To sum up, in my opinion it is unfair to force people to do a non refundable 3 nights booking in such hotels while the covid test result gets ready in less than 24 hours!
Other than not having a dining facility this was a very nice and secure hotel in which to stay. It is within walking distance to public transportation and dining. Hotel staff was very accommodating.
Rooms were small, the price wasn't worth it when you close down BOTH the gym and the pool. You should of lowered the price because of those amendenties being shut. Also the patio says with a big sign that it closes at 11 we were there by 10:20 !*# you already locked it???
Family came to this Hotel due to the mandatory 3 day quarantine procedures. They were treated like beggars (ignored by staff, hassled by the contract security guard), even though we PAID for this disrespect. Manager said he would have the contract security guard reassigned and gave the rhetorical reply about service and courtesy being priority, even though the lack of it was my complaint! I still am waiting for an accounting of WHY the staff just ignored my family members EXCEPT for the taking of money! Covid is no excuse for such horrendous treatment, this is a direct reflection of how much this place cares about people. Would give less than 1 star rating if possible.
Clean, good service, secure car and rooms ,quiet , pet friendly as well
Poor service from the start. Called in advance to see what amenities were still available due to covid and we were told that everything but the restaurant was as normal ( this was not a trip for pleasure rather a necessity following a minor surgery and we had to stay in the city overnight) The staff were rude and laughed at me when I asked why none were wearing facemask ( the one gentleman responded " oh I know I should" ) no care or attentiveness at all. Rooms outdated and not stocked as described and construction going on meant the whole room was shaking at points. Other than location I would not recommend staying here
The room was a bit older so the heating didn't work well for the duration of my stay. The satellite TV also didn't get much of a signal so I wasn't able to use it. The room was clean and the staff members were friendly. I stayed here due to the convenient location but there is currently a lot of construction in the area.
It was good for the price - quiet, friendly, and close to our event.
It's conveniently located -- right off the 10 bus, 10 minute walk from the train that takes you to the airport. The rooms look and feel clean, and I didn't have any problems with the service. I'm also a pretty low maintenance guest in general.
Staff & layout are all very good. The wine tasting in the afternoon is a classy touch. Convenient access to many features in downtown. The nearby construction is noisy, but cannot be helped, & the people were very helpful in navigating. The bed is very comfortable. The one exception was the bathroom - this has not been renovated as we expected. Recommended.
Room was very outdated, broken tiles, non water pressure, carpet was dirty, we were put in a room meant for someone in a wheel chair. Construction all around us was woken up very early. Was a returning customer but will not go back now.
Very clean and comfortable. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Their Canadian Continental Breakfast Buffet on Sat & Sun is very good and very filling.
I have friends who are owners of a residence in this hotel. I always enjoy visiting them. The hotel is clean and accommodating.
Good location and walkable to Stanley park, shops and restaurants! Free underground parking was a nice plus! Room was small but great deal for the price we paid.
Room was good, Hotel was good, customer service is good, but room AC didn't work as expected. My friend woke up sweating on coldest mode
It was clean, in a good location but most of all the personel were helpful in every way...especially Christina and Ivan who went out of their way to answer any/all questions we had and really going out of their way to help. We had a wonderful time walking to various locations and eating at great restaurants and were able to do it because of the excellent information given to us by the personel. I will definitely stay there again next time i go to Vancouver.
We stayed in one of the two bedroom condo suites. The room was excellent, with an absolutely amazing view of the city. The staff were excellent, extremely friendly and helpful especially when arranging for transportation and giving suggestions for places to visit. The hotel is walking distance from main downtown neighborhoods which was very convenient. I definitely plan to stay here during my next visit to Vancouver.
It was great, I would stay there again. Clean rooms, friendly staff, centric location, affordable.
It was quiet, clean and location for us is great and parking is at the top of our list.
The customer service was awful. I booked that hotel for my brother. He stayed there for 3 nights quarantine. There was no microwave in the room. Their food was awful. He ordered his own food. He asked to reheat his food. Front desk said we can't allow you to come out from your room. He asked if they can reheat the food, they said we can't until his covid test report is negative. I wouldn't recommend that hotel for quarantine. There is another hotel Sandman, price is same. We stayed there for 3 night quarantine, their food was excellent and they provide you a menu to order the food from Moxie restaurant. Their food was excellent and good customer service
The hotel itself is average. Some areas like the patio in the lobby seem newly renovated whereas the rooms and hallways are outdated. The hotel was generally clean however I was highly disappointed with the staff. Upon arrival we were told that we only had the option of using the valet to park our car. After receiving our car back the first night there was already a scratch on it. We immediately told the hotel and tried following up about the incident but no one was able to do anything for us until the manager arrived at the hotel. The manager got back to us after 5 pm the next day and said that it was not the valet's doing. This seemed highly unlikely seeing as the scratch only appeared after giving our car to the valet. Going forward we deiced not to use the valet services and to park ourselves. Finally the manager said he would "see what he could do for us" given all the trouble. Nothing was done, and we were charged $41 per day for valet. Additionally we were charged $1.50 for making a call to the hotel front desk....
Not very good location but nice rooms and service
Great location and price. The water was only a few blocks away which made for a nice walk to take my dogs. I have stayed there a few times now and will continue to do so, friendly staff and clean rooms.
THIS HOTEL SUCKS!!! My Family was held hostage here for two days while they overcharged us and stole from our room...this was discusting the manager was treating us like dirt ....the security guard was a pervert....I would not recomend this hotel to anybody ....the streets of vancouver are safer then this place ...Im 6'1 and my feet were hanging off the matchbox beds...my son is 6'4 his shins were hitting the end of the bed ...the filth was another thing ....this $1200 dollers i spent on two horrible nights would have been better spent on buying a tent and sleeping in the park. I have to press on star to publish ....but it doesn t warrent one
Stayed here for spring break. Really affordable for everything thats around it. Loved having everything in walking distance, and the hotel staff were nice!
Great staff super friendly. The only complaint is that the one bed in our room was broken and the wall was peeling off. The beds were comfy and they had clean towels and Keurig the room lol. I would probably stay here again if I was passing through Vancouver.
Pretty good and cheap
Stayed for Govt hotel quarantine. It was very comfortable, clean and the food was decent. Staff were friendly and helpful, no hidden fees or cash grabs. Rooms have AC and nice views all around. This place is the cheapest of the govt hotel quarantine locations in Vancouver but it's definitely not somewhere you'd want to avoid. I would recommend it if you weren't fussy about your 3 day quarantine location and didn't need the height of luxury or service to get on with your life.
Very clean hotel rooms are a bit dated right out of 1978. Staff is friendly. Good deal in a pinch
Great location, staff was very friendly and responsive. Rooms were clean and well maintained. The great part about this place is the fact that they offer parking and room packages. Only negative is that they seem to be understaffed so some areas were sort of deserted.
I spent 3 days in this hotel in quarantine. The room is clean, large comfortable bed, an excellent view of the city from the 8th floor. But!!!!! Meals just almost killed me???? For $ 300 per day, at least you need to make a meal of your choice !!!! every day rice, beans, terrible potatoes with omelet for breakfast, only 100-150 grams, small yogurt, juice and bread! for lunch, once bring raw chicken, underneath it are the leftovers from breakfast of potatoes and even below the rice! You can leave the room 2 times a day for 30 minutes on the second floor there is a small terrace, on which only rain sometimes gives wet cleaning ... At the reception, they promised to return $ 40 for a taxi from the airport, since according to the quarantine rules, my boyfriend could not meet me and bring me. Money was not returned !!!
The WiFi was actually awful. It kept kicking devices off after a few hours.
The beds were probably the most uncomfortable ones I have ever slept on. Felt super firm and cheap. The room other then the beds was decent. Nice TV and clean. The hotel was doing "renos" in their lobby and had a tarp over a gap where a window was supposed to be. Super tacky. It was colder in the lobby then it was outside. I have no idea how they can call themselves an upscale boutique hotel when the most stars this hotel deserves are 2.5-3 maybe. Customer service was nothing great. They barely talked to us or cared if we enjoyed our stay.
Used a discount code, the room was adequate for a night's stay but nothing fancy. The complementary wine was pleasant, and the location was convenient. Staff was friendly and helpful.
The stay itself was great. Someone broke into our car in their underground parking, which is supposed to be secure, and they acted like it was our fault.
I had an amazing 2-night stay here. The hotel is very centrally situated. The room was nice and comfortable, with a large bathroom and a good-size desk. The Wi-Fi in my room was pretty bad - slow and would go out for a few minutes every so often, but it was enough for my needs. The garage has a couple of spots marked for EVs only with access to regular wall outlets for charging. The price was also great but that might be due to the construction that’s happening right next door (as of November 2021) - the view is not so great and the sidewalk that leads to the lobby is literally closed.
Parking Charge. Poor Service,Poor WIFI,and Poor facilities????♂️
We stayed in a condo here. The view is about to get much worse after they build another skyscraper next door. The entryway is pretty poor, but the building is very nice.
To make a long story short, this is one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. First things first, the inexplicable wine bar in the lobby results in patrons having to interact with drunken guests who lie down on the furniture like starfish. The rooms themselves are very dated, with patchwork updates here and there. The wallpaper is peeling, the furniture is ragged, and everything looks worn and old. There's lots of construction around, so (together with the traffic, the paper-thin walls, and the tactor-loud heating system), prepare yourself for a veritable symphony of unforgettable noise. Credit where credit is due: We did get refunded for the one night we didn't stay because of the ferry cancellations, and the staff are very friendly and courteous. However, from the perspective of comfort, this is simply not enough.
Staff is very nice. Rooms okay but they were in renovation mode so kinda unfair to give a bad comment. They store luggage for free.
Small Rooms. Good thing was the spa tubs with jets. Nice to have that. Other than that wall paper was peeling off and an odd smell. Guess thats what I get for $70/night. Not a bad price but older building that needs to be updated. Staff was extremely helpful and the maids are really sweet and kind. Update the place and ill stay again
Construction all around the hotel, couldn’t sleep past 7:30 am. Everything was closed, no kitchen, no exercise room, no hot tub. I understand during these times there will be closures of things but nothing was told to us when we booked our hotel. We needed an extra set of towels and were told they would be brought up in 10 min. Never arrived. We had to go down to get them and the waited another 15 min for them. We won’t be back.
Honestly, I was not impressed with my stay here. The parking for the hotel was extremely tight and claustrophobic, our room was much smaller than expected and smelled of cigarette smoke, and the hot tub was not in service. I can't say that I would recommend.
