This is an always busy park (pre and pandemic (2020-) so yes it is really nice, but also, very full of people, so of you are into that... hurray? But also very crowded with a lot of exposed faces for a pandemic, and I love rules that raise my chance of living longer, so that was bad news for me.

This park is great if it's not super busy. It was a little crowded when we went because they were having free admission at the science museum. They also only have two portable restrooms which are like typical porta-potties. The best part is the huge sand pit. Both my kids played forever in the sand.

The city has renovated this park. Its a thousand times cooler than it was before. The zipline is a cool feature. They have some great swings. The xylophone deals are also pretty cool. Its a good location to people watch. It is not too removed from the Hastings Corridor so they occasional street person passes by, but its no big deal. For sure am coming back to this spot when the weather gets warmer.

Vancouver Science Museum Park, located in a beautiful bay, has a unique design style. It is a garden ball type, which makes children feel very excited when they go in. There are a variety of different science and technology stuffs. It is a good place for children and young people to learn modern technology. The surroundings are very good. After visiting the technology museum, you can also walk along the coastline, or ride a bicycle to UBC Beach and English Bay in the city center.

It's a great park for kids and adults alike! There's a nice play ground, a big slide, zipline (look for my video in the photos section, it won't show up here), water activity table, swings, a big field, walk ways and bike lanes. Plus the new park that opened right next to this one, it has volley ball and stuff. Throw in Science World and that little boat that takes you to Granville Island, you could spend a whole day here. This photo is of a dog I seen on my visit. I'm actually writing this review at this park right now. Great times!

Amazing park. Has an awesome big slide, zip line for older kids and a cool sand pit. The park has amazing view. The downside is that it is not well shaded (for a hot day) and there are no public restrooms for diaper changes and the little ones to relive themselves.

Great location for a picnic. Accessible and easy to get to. I’ve bikes past a handful of times but never stayed due to lack of shade. It does cool down significantly in the evening being by the water. Lovely stop along the bike path. Fun for kids to it looked like. They have a mini zip line, I used to (still do!) love those things - I’m just a little too big now????

Recently redone great outdoor playground, just as fun in the rain. (Make sure your kids are in rain gear as there is no covered shelter in the area.) Wood is obviously slippery and slide will be faster but great views of the waterfront and right off the bike highway. Zip line, 3 storey tubular slide, percussion instruments, play house, sandbox and water play station (off now), no shortage of climbing structures, plenty of seating area and green space for picnics and fun.

Not a "family friendly " park!! No decent washrooms for kids. No shade on hot sunny days. Not enough tables/benches under shade. Swings face concrete highrise's whereas if they turned them 180° kids would be looking out at the water AND the sun would be behind them & not blazing in their eyes. Its June and the water for the water play wasn't turned on. Definitely not designed for kids & their families. (FTR I'm a retired, well experienced ECE teacher!)

It's a great park, well thought out in terms of layout, but it gets overcrowded on sunny days due to lack of green space and high density in that area. The geese have also made the park their home so there's geese poop everywhere you go. Being situated on False Creek, the views are beautiful especially during the sunset. Still, I'm finding myself to be avoiding the park more often than not during COVID-19 times due to the overcrowding.

Great park for all ages. Tall slide, and kids have to work to climb up to the top. Trolly line and several swings to choose from. Harnessed swing seat, and smaller wide slide. Tonnes of seating areas for parents, with good views of the play area.

Big slide is a hit for my kids as well as others however it's quite busy as 1. Summer Camp kids are present when we were visiting during the weekday. 2. The ever popular zipline was out of order. Overall my kids still had fun.

The park next to Science World is pretty awesome. There's a huge slide and zipline for the kiddos, along with other active play terrain. Do watch out for cyclists on the very busy nearby Seawall route on your approach. Also watch for zipliners when entering the park. I've seen a couple little ones get laid out while not paying attention.

Its wide enough for strollers and wheelchairs !! Today I took to the water and a stroll along the Sea Wall with great sunshine. The Sea Wall full of people walkin and talking and taking in the great Vancouver weather. It was the first time I saw the [New Park! } at corner from the playground which is usually an open lot. Now its Awesome!!! Volleyball court. Big pieces chess board !! One on one B -Ball!! Great little islands of grass and different shapes bring a unique feel to this - the park outside of Downtown a nice breath of fresh air. Open park, raised grass, and benches .Just so you know Not too many trees , b/c it would be a tough go with the salt water . It still works for me.

Seeing on most of the other items priced and for it's sizes are in my opinion very expensive and overly charges. This suggestion come from a Cook's perspective with 25 years in the cooking industry.

Well, if you're near the water the picnic potential is awesome with lots of grass and some tables with great beachcombing. If you stay on the paths you can go all the way to the village at DeepCove and its scenic water front the whole way. If you go across Dollar ton Hwy, plenty of super cool forest trails weave through mossy forest s and surface here and there at various developments or streets. Hard to get lost but easy to get away from civilization!

Needs more benches so that elderly people can enjoy the sunsets as well. Hard for many of the aged folk to get down on to the grass and back up again. There should be speed bumps in the bike path as you have to walk across to access the benches that are there. As well the cyclists should stop when someone is in the crosswalk.

Nice walking path and bike path along the seawall. Good view of the false Creek and science world. However, lots of geese poop everywhere, but I guess that's the work of nature that we can't control. Lots of benches along the path if you feel like sitting down for a snack/break. Not much shaded area though, so, can get very hot on a hot day. We did find a bench with some shades, however, because it is directly under a tree, the bench is full of bird poop. Otherwise it's a good place to come hang out and get some fresh air

Absolutely beautiful views here. The slide is dope for kids or adults with a sense of humour. Amazing vibe at sunset with the boats in the harbour and everyone generally in a good mood/ friendly. Well maintained and clean. Talented buskers on the pier and overall nice place to chill or stroll through. Careful walking in the bike lanes though!

Beautiful place to spend time. The parks are very nice for kids to play around in. The green space is nice to sit down and have a picnic and the paths are nice for a walk or bike ride as you enjoy the scenery around you

Was a great development till the Vancouver Sun yesterday on FB published plans for daylighting the creek. The soils under the south end of Science World parking lot, Creekside Park, & north end of Navio are contaminated with PCBs, Lead & other Heavy Metals. This is not a place for a restored estuary without major remediation. We cannot be exposing children, terrestrial wildlife, birds & the marine environment. Herring are already returning to False Creek to Spawn & Salmon will hopefully do so again in future Love Chanel level wastes cannot be just opened up to the environment without major remediation. Maybe a daylighted creek is possible farther North either side, right up tight to Science World.....

Great place to walk or bike. Awesome view all around. The air feels better eventhough there are plenty of cars driving by. Best to come here by transit since parking is often a problem. And the transit is really handy.

A busy park area by science works and the Main Street science world sky train station. It’s usually fairly busy on a sunny day but kids seems to enjoy it. There is a playground and nice walkway along the waterfront there. Worth going to if your in the area.

Conveniently close to science world this park is a perfect pit stop for kids to burn off energy. It’s a newer playground with areas for different ages. Especially appealing is the zip line where kids can stand or sit on a pulley and whip from one side to the other.
