Decent little playground for a variety of ages, right on the Trent River. Swimming area can have very strong currents at times. The campground is pretty weak - absolutely no privacy, and one central washroom. It's suitable for a quick one-night stopover, but not much more. But there is plenty of room to park a large trailer due to the absence of obstructions and the flat ground. The park is wedged between the TSW (so it's a nice walk up and down the canal) and the Trent River.

Beautiful park with beautiful features in the holiday season. We went a few days ago and walked through the park. There were Christmas lights and Christmas decorations all over the park. Cute music was playing, creating such a sweet and romantic environment. Loved my visit. I want to go back!

We stopped because the 401 was at a standstill. Glad we did! Nice new park, and a Sandy Beach. New skatepark too. There is a campground with food, and while pricey, the poutine was tasty. Also a beach volleyball and basketball/horseshoe area.

Nice place to visit.... Lots to do with your little ones. It has a small but cute beach. Also a playground, skate park, volleyball net, theatre stage, etc.. Let's not forget a small shop that sells ice cream for your sweet tooth and other savoury treats.

Skated the skate park...was ok, mini ramp is terrible. way too steep for its height (goes nearly vertical at what I would call 2 ft in height) hard for beginners to ride, and even challenging for a more advanced rider. It was seemingly not designed with goofy footed skaters in mind... and some key areas are very tight while others are too spaced out for smooth lines and transitions. Could be fixed and some things added, there are a lot of really good hits for an advanced skater but not much run-up or to generate speed without pushing excessively. Just doing laps around the park is quite exhausting and it shouldn't be...it's a nice little park, but could use some tweaks. Lighting would be nice for the fall when the days are shorter.

Great spot for the kids. Beach is often posted closed due to water quality but still lots to do. Skate park, playground and even a nearby splash pad. Also trails for walking along the river. Also little canteen selling icecream and hotsdogs etc. Im sure they could use support in the wild year 2020.

Had our family picnic here. Park was nice, lots of shade, kids had fun swimming and playing on the equipment. Unfortunately the port-a-potty was very dirty. Will go back again and hope it is clean.

The beach is small but the river was warm, shallow and fantastic. There is also a playground and a skate park. There is a section for RVs, as well as an ice cream shop. Nice place to spend the afternoon.

This is a great place to go on a hot day. Though the water is a bit shallow at times, that would be my only complaint (which is out of anyone’s control anyways.) The poutine they have is pretty good too.

It was great. I took my family to see a movie in the park. There were a few people volunteering their time putting up a huge screen in the shelter to show Peter Rabbit. JAMES Regan, and his friends were the people there responsible for our fun evening. JAMES said he is there every Saturday nite, all summer, no cost to families. I would go again. Anyone can go fun night out. ????????
