Awsome little park that has many different things to do for all ages. Kids playground, baseball fields, running/race track, ice skating rink, nature trails - ( southern trails head down White Rock beach ), as well as tennis courts and nice relaxing places to sit and chill. Overall a clean and excellent park that all locals know and love.

Beautiful park, lots to explore for all ages. Mysterious train tracks to follow and several trails to walk or bike....until you hit the uphill at the underpass! But seriously, the best part is the river, especially on a hot summer day! On the downside, ovbiously this spot is super popular year round and can be a tad crowded at times.

This is a beautiful place to walk/hike/swim/relax in the summer. There are trails that run parallel to the river that can be walked liesurely as well as challenging hiking and cross country bike trails. In the winter there is still open water in places to still hear the running water of the river. The trails are open for cross-country skiing. There is also a hill for tobogganing! There is also a playground. The hiking trail along the river leads under the hiway to Trowbridge falls, which is another great place to cool off in the summer! Just as you get to the park, there is an off-leash dog trail going through a wooded area. It is a great place for our dog to explore.

This should get 5 stars just for being so close to my house. How have I been ignoring this place that is pretty much my back yard? I went in the evening when it was cool enough for a big dude to go out on an extended walk. If it is a hot day though, there are a few good spots to get in the water along the walking trail. Excellent place for hiking, biking, tanning or swimming. There was a yoga session going on in the field. In the winter time there is a big hill that is great for family sliding. All kinds of people doing all sorts of activities at Centennial Park.

I quite enjoy the trails at Centennial. They're very calming when combined with the rushing river beside the main trail. It leads to other parks as well which is a perk for long walkers such as myself.

We came here for the Cameron Tournament and have to give the facilities top marks. The fields were showing a bit of wear most likely from the hot weather but in all they were pretty good and well laid out. There was also a ribfest that I would have loved to visit but time did not permit. The park was able to handle the events well and we did not struggle with finding parking or getting around. It is also on the water so a cool breeze is always close by. Inside the park there are also lots if shady areas .

The park is huge! The city constantly keeps the park clean and periodicly updates the play stricture. In the summer time there are tons of activities and events such as Canada day fireworks, multicultural day etc.

Yes from time to time there are bear sightings, but I have had enough black bear encounters not to be afraid of them anymore, just give them some space and you will be fine. Great place to walk in the fall, most of the time I go out of town for my hikes but this was a nice change of pace .

Although mostly utilized in the spring and summer and fall season, if one has the skills and passion for winter then this is the park for you. It has and is going through some changes, but new change was needed.

Centennial park is a historical remembrance reserved park. Its history way back to the soldiers died during the war. The Trail is very famous and beautiful. People use the trail for jogging. There is also many historical remaining in the park. Tenting is also available There is a way from Trowbridge park to centennial park. We can reach centennial park by getting on to Bus number 1 to current river from waterfront terminal. Beautiful and peaceful area. We can also bring our kids for leisure as there is kids section in the park. Rest rooms are also available. We can also see deers in a reserved corner of the park. Good experience.

I just love taking my dogs walking there! Not only are there Great walking trails, but things to see while you walk! I love all the old machinery and log buildings you can go inside with all the vintage bunks n kitchen etc! Wonderful hill to go sledding on in the winter and animals like ducks, rabbits, etc for the kids or adults to enjoy seeing! Nice big playground for the kids to play in! Centennial Park is a quiet and beautiful park, that is enjoyed by so many people everyday. You can take a nice long walk on the paved path that follows our great lake Ontario. You can enjoy all the wildlife such as geese, ducks, rabbit, groundhogs and of course in the spring, all the adorable baby animals that follow in tow. You get to meet new people living in our small city as you cross paths and stop to chat as you pets each others dogs because Centennial park is an incredible place to walk your dog with all the sites, sounds and of course smells for your furry friend to enjoy. During the week nights the park is filled with childen playing their soccer games and their families on the sidelines cheering. The baseball diamonds are also filled children in uniform and their coaches. The moms and dads sit on the edge of the bleechers as its the top of the seventh and the cheers couldn't be louder. If your looking for a great place to spend you day, come enjoy Centennial park with all it has to offer. The best part is that its FREE and nothing this pleasant is ever free.

Beautiful place that, all year-round, is great for running, hiking, walking, walking your dog, and seeing some nice sights. In the summer, it is also great for swimming. It has a great off-leash dog trail that is just outside of the main park.

There are some really nice trails in Centennial park, thunder Bay! Many scenic views as well! We went as a group and did 2 trails (a short trail and a long one) before heading back home. All the trails were properly marked and it was barely busy which I loved.

Where else can you camp right outside the mayor's window. Plenty of interesting characters lurking around. When city council meets between 10 and 2, they usually have excellent catering delivered. Don't be shy to help yourself you paid for it!

Was in the kids park with the great grand kids and it's a fantastic spot for them. All kinds of equipment including the usual, slides, climbing apparatus and the unusual for a park, zip line and a huge xylophone! There's also Tennis courts /pickle ball and a battng cage. There's also a nice community garden to walk through.

This park has seen continuous upgrades throughout the years, from newer baseball fields to new soccer fields built in 2018/2019. Lots to enjoy and see here.

Beautiful park! I visited the park and the YMCA kids camp there. The park is amazing! So much to do. They have a newly minted playground whichnisnvery kid-friendly and surrounded by open forest providing lots of shade and cover from rain-should you attend the park during a wet day. There are also a soccer field, an asphalt track, a softball field and a couple of buildings in which to temporarily warm-up or cool down. The park is clean and well thought out. Lastly, there are three or four trails which converge at the entrance and mid park. On trail heads down to the beach and is a bit steep and gravelly , leading to a couple of sets of stairs.

The Centennial Park located on North Bluff and 147 Street is a very good place to engage in various sport activities such as tennis, hockey, Soccer, walking / running, and baseball / softball, and of course it has a very large children's playground, which contains the usual amenities plus picnic tables as well as a green space with very tall trees to set a blanket and rest while enjoying time with your children. This is a safe place to be. Plenty of people come here. Is wheelchair accessible. It has plenty of parking. Social distance is advisable during Covid times.

Centennial Park is a gigantic park in northern Thunder Bay. There are a few exhibits, playgrounds and even off-leash areas for dogs. Some of the paths could have better indications and the adventurous trails on the round trip could use some maintenance.

Beautiful area, great for a picnic in our truck on a rainy winter day with our lunch after chapel service while eateries are closed to inhouse dining. Lots of new construction going on in the park, will be interesting to see what it's all for once complete.

The only area in Trenton with decently long paved paths. Unfortunately they are dominated by unleashed dogs. Satisfactory for slow trail users, otherwise Belleville trails are the best.

I go to the skatepark usually, but there is lots of other stuff, like paved trail, fully lit baseball diamonds, amphitheatre, play parks, splash pad, enough soccer fields that every kid in town can play on the same day. The rinks are there too, and the marina looks like it has been converted into some kind of wakeboard park. I don't think there is boat parking on that side anymore, new marina is sweet, but on the other side of the river. The boat launch is still there next to the arena.

This is my favourite place to take my dogs for a walk along the well maintained paths that run throughout the park from one end to the other. There’s an amphitheater, a covered pavilion with dozens of picnic tables and a stage. There’s a splash pad for those hot days to cool off the kiddies! There’s a playground in two areas, a skate/bike park, soccer & baseball fields throughout the park with well kept lush green fields! There’s the old marina the has been set up for a wakeboard (??) pull that’s really cool to watch! There’s facilities and parking in few different areas. There are families of birds such as ducks & swans all over & sometimes you get lucky to see a Mommy with her babies swimming along behind her...they are soooo cute!! This is my favourite park in Trenton and I have & will always recommend this park to everyone!!!

Centennial Park and Trowbridge Falls make up a large selection of interconnectes trails in the North end of the city. The oversite and maintainance of these areas is understaded, giving a more naturalistic feel as you explore the forest on either side of the Current River. Not a huge conservancy, but a wild local parkland, with many kilometers of light hiking, biking, or walking the dogs. Be mindful that low lying areas will accumulate water, and appropriate care and footwear are required. Its great to get outside!

Holy cow. Where do I even begin. On my trip this was the place I was least excited for. I didn't really know a whole lot about it, and when we got there the road there and the entrance weren't much of a looker. But when you get back to the water, oh my god. It was absolutely beautiful. It was one of the most scenic things I've ever seen. If you go at the right time of year, there are blueberries everywhere. The water is so fun (and yes, it's swimmable!) And you will find endless new things to be in awe over. I deeply hope to go back someday.

The Boundary Bay (the sea) is not visible from Centennial Park and because the Ruth Johnson park shares the same green space, this error commonly occurs. The park hours have not changed and remain, dawn to dusk, approximately 7:00 am to 10:00 pm depending on the time of year. The venues in the park, all have varied hours. Centennial Park is a sports park, with well maintained facilities of all types. Thanks for this .....

This park is awesome! It streches quite the distance. Lots of walking trails. Some fallow around the shore line of boulevard lake. The bluff just just north of the lake provides more trails to walk and superior views. The walls at the bluffs also provide a great opportunity for rock climbing in the city. Spending time in this park will result in some wildlife sightings as well.
