This is a great little park with a small peninsula type area that you can walk out. There are many benches along the way and some giant old willow trees along the water to provide shade on hot sunny days. This is a very tranquil place with low traffic. I used to go there to spend me time with my guitar. I also never had any issues letting my dog swim there freely, although I can not confirm whether this is actually allowed or not. It can be a little windy at times depending on where you sit as it does put you out on open water on three sides. Bain Park is good for the soul.

Nice place to go have lunch and watch the aircraft fly by on CFB Trenton. Some play equipment for children and near the water. There are picnic tables under a roof for shade or rain and lots of area for children to roam free.

This park was on the water & had 2 sports fields, both soccer & baseball . It also had an armoured personnel carrier & the monuments to those soldiers killed in the Afghanistan War. The monument was well cared for with flowers around it too.

Good park. Play structure and swings for kids. Lovely military dedicated monuments. Definitely visit those and always give thanks to our past and present service members. Nice pathway to the water as well. Benches to sir on. A covered area with picnic tables. Also has baseball diamond and soccer nets as well. Could be a bit better maintained but overall a good place for some family time.

We made a visit to this park on a whim and recommendation of a local restaurant employee. After eating, my husband asked if there was somewhere the kids could run and play before continuing our long journey. A very cute park, with a memorial from Afghanistan. If you like teachable moments, this was a place to do that. The highlight for my children was watching a jet practice, what we think where takeoffs and landings at the Air Force Base. It was a great place to stretch legs and get some energy out.

My wife and I play baseball here every Wednesday. We are happy to see they are finally replacing the fences in the outfield of the baseball diamonds. Would like to see new bleachers, current ones are old and rusty.

A beautiful park right on the Bay of Quinte. It's always well kept and there's a playground for families. The Afghanistan Repatriation Memorial can also be found there and it's beautifully designed. Did I mention there's also a tank? There's benches, a little wooded area you can through, trees to keep you cool and an overall nice view. There's a parking lot as well as accessible parking. The paths are also paved so would be good for running, biking or anything involving wheels. It's also right of Old Highway 2 so it's not even hard to get back to civilization once you're done taking in the killer sunsets you can catch all whilst sitting on a bench looking out on the water.

Was a great park for kids or picnics, has lots of parking, and there's a playground for the kids, as well as an armored vehicle and memorial for the Canadian soldiers who have their lives fighting in Afghanistan.
