We went to woof stock and had an amazing time. Entry fee went from 5 for a family to over five per person, but everything else was great.

DJ HIDDEN

A beautiful park nestled in Ajax/Pickering area. Can bring the family for a picnic, walk the trails, or enjoy the water. Can be overcrowded at times, especially weekends.

Gong Shao

Came for the Woofstock, nice event.

leto BG

Pleasant wish that people understand ghag the wooden walk-board is for walkers and joggers, the paved part is for cyclists. Oh and the paved path is certainly not a family and friends meeting space! Lovely place still

Landon Maits

Went to a fun street performers festival late in August and enjoyed the whole park. Good food trucks setup, enjoy a peameal bacon sandwich. They were giving away free pizza samples as well. Beers gardens were setup in a sectioned off area. Lots of unique acts fun for kids and adults. Beautiful day to top it off.

Nadia Drozhzhina

Nice place to walk!

Adolphina W

Came for AfroFest 2016. The place was transformed into a bazaar of food, clothing and cultural items. The two large stages had the air filled with music. …

Ladyy-Haze Mulah

Large park great for a family outting, great place to bring your dog. They've got little trails in the bush. It's fun.

Nahla Hodge

I went for Afro fest this year at woodbine park and I had an amazing time .... the park is always clean and a joy to walk amongst ... washrooms made available and parking wasn’t bad at all to my surprise .... the festivities was live music and entertainment as well as fresh food ... a community of peace and cultural fun ... i missed going down to woodbine and can’t wait to return again.

I visited this park because it is where Woofstock 2018 was held. The parking area is large but it costs a lot to park when attending the event. There is street parking, but it is easier to park in the parking lot. The parking lot is not well maintained. There were potholes, and uneven pavement. This is my 2nd time in Canada, and not sure what to expect. Since I paid $20 (or maybe $25) to park, I expect the parking lot to be in better shape. The Woofstock event was very well organized. The park was very spacious and clean.

Hona Dabzad

Amazing boardwalk, wide with nice colorful chairs to sit and enjoy the sea view. The beach is also hugeeeee and the view is mesmerizing. I can imagine how busy it gets during summer which might have been a concern for Covid-19. There was Tim Horton right at the entrance of the boardwalk which is very convenient. Perfect experience ????

Laura K

I love Woidbine Park. Always clean and well taken care of, a great place to hold outdoor events as well.

Carol Wilson

Nice park but needs some shaded areas.

Erez Yaron

Ribfest. What else can you say??? Very well organized, not too many people to make impossible lines, and amazing award winning ribs. Delicious if you're not vegan.

PurePlush NBliss

I take my kids (boyfriend included) on walks in this area. Good spot for family time or a solitary workout.

Bret Ostendorf

Clean, fun, big. Swimming, volleyball, beach, walking, biking, bar and dancing on weekends.

Great place to hang out with friends, play sports, sit in the shade, have a picnic or walk

mary koo

Large park, great for little kids to play in kids play section. Water for kids to play in. Huge space, all grass. Also a large pond in park.

Ben Skalnik

It’s a park! Nothing to see there, nothing to do there. Yes there is fountain, of sorts, and paths to walk but what about putting a zoo, a flower bed, I dunno, it’s just a park!

Chirag Sharma

Great place to spend the day with friends and family. BBQing, playing volleyball or canoeing.

Nimet Sag

Great park, beautiful beach. Huge space for everyone.

Kafui Danku

Lovely park right close to the beach.

Timothy Roy Walks

Great place to go for a walk. Check out my YouTube channel (Timothy Roy) for video.

Ron F

Great park. But a little more shaded area would be appreciated

Warren Ward

Bring your garden chair, or blanket and picnic basket if you are looking for a spot to sun tan, or somewhere to just enjoy the outdoors. Walk across the street to grab an iced capp from the Tim Hortons, or stroll to the beach a short distance away. Another great spot for the family of all ages, and pet friendly too!????

Rick Mason

Great, diverse park. From the more formalized area with the bandshell to the wetlands around the pond, this is a great space to explore.

Sergio “Sergeminator” Juarez

Great space for family hangouts. Lots of parking and lots of fun activities available.

alex macleod

Great location with lots of activities all summer and right across from the beach, swimming pool boardwalk and cycle / hiking trail

Tim Chase Photography

We visited Woodbine park today for a walk with our dog and usually visit the park every summer during festivals which are very common. The area is treed with paved paths and actually very warm without cold winds and very nice during …

Jenni Dee

Beautiful and so happy to see so many people getting outdoors to enjoy it while being covid safe.

Marina A

A beautiful sandy beach. Boardwalk runs alone the beach. Bicycle tracks, beach cafes, icecream stands. The best place for summer family gatherings by the water.

Michelle Racioppo

Wonderful for walking your dogs or go for a beautiful walk with your loved ones you will all enjoy the experience

S J

Nice relaxing park to sit or to go fir a walk. In the summer there are many entertaining events. Famiky friendly events

Smith Sark

Great venue close to downtown toronto. The beaches and the boardwalk are well maintained. Go for a run or just a stroll with the family and the canine. Plenty of bath stations and picnic benches as well. Certain spots have barbecue pits and provisions for sunbathing at the sandy beaches. You can also bring your friends for a game of beach volleyball

Dev Patel

I'm not sure if you can fish hear but I did and caught 5 fishing in 10 minutes

Pritesh Patel

Had great time , nice events too only issues is parking. Please stop privatization of parking space . For 1 hour parking I paid $20 . I can understand it was festival but guys be reasonable too

Jenny McMillen

Before, this area was once a horserace track along with stables and seating stands. What remains in its place is the Greenwood Off-Track Wagering building for global racing events. Much of the old venue is now renovated into the beach house residency area with a wide park area. A lovely garden area with a pond for swans and ducks, a playground w/ water works and large grassy fields for beachside events.

SkyKwe CASA

Afrofest was amazing! So many wonderful people and vendors, the music was on point! ❤️

Husayn Dharshi

Great for family outings and watching Victoria Day fireworks

Kathy Bouey

New Year's Day hockey on the pond

John Schneider

I love coming here for Food truck festival. It's always a good time and a great location for it as well.

Georgii Kucherenko

Remember loved this park so much, were coming there daily for jogging in February:)

Shay Mamujee

Went for AfroFest... Fantastic time. Massive place. Tonnes of people. Some nice stalls. Two hours to wait for food was a little ridiculous... A little organisation would have taken the day from good to great.

lanre agboluaje

Measurement park blossoms with beautiful trees greenery water scenery drapes the surrounding beachside.

Chris S

Went there for Taiwan Day event in the summer time, with some night market food booths, band and traditional Taiwanese cultural dancing performances. The park itself is very big, with lots of parking space, nice and clean. 5 stars!

Hannington Mulumba

Crowded, which is normal this time of year considering the damn pandemic...parking is brutal, you have to park kms away-which is good exercise so stop complaining unless you have kids...there's always a spot on woodbine, you just have to find it.

Carolyn Mossman

Generally a very clean park! I get frustrated with how many events are hosted here in the summer, as I live quite close, but I guess any large amount of space like that will be utilized in Toronto.

M Dhahri

Beautiful beach, cĺean and well maintained. It gets busy in the summer but there is always a plenty of empty space. Nice shady shared path for runners, walkers and bikers.

Mark Hiles

Wonderful park and an amazing day spent here, I have to say the view was great, you can see the city from the top of the hill on the park and it just makes the who view look absolutely incredible. We had an amazing time in Toronto Canada, so much so, we booked for another two weeks in September!! We will see you soon Canada!!! Stay amazing!!! ????????????????????????????????????❤️????????????????

Edwin Hegge

Now this is the type of park that is a great all rounder. It hosts many events such as jazz fest, afrofest, Ribfest, etc. The park is also quite good for families and their children to go to. But I think the main thing about this park is that it's a great place to hang out with friends, have a picnic or just relax by yourself. If you want to have a good day at spark this is a 200% recommend

Moin

A great place for a nice and calm evening walk. There are few benches and also a fountain. Also many cultural festivals are held throughout the year, specially during summer.

Russell Buchelt

It's the park just north of the beach. It's nice. Has lots of space. Went for food truck festival and it was fun.

Darren T

Great open space for outdoor events. Beach BBQ and Brews is one not to miss.

Smriti Bhadoria

The longest beach in Toronto which is Close to downtown. Great for picnics and volleyball or BBQ with friends. Enough parking available and accessible by TTC. Remember to book a spot if you want to BBQ.

Skipper

Casino is perfect word. It has everything that you can bet on. Huge place. Slots, table, every kind of gamble is played here. I like it.

Claudia Rodriguez

great park l and beautiful boardwalk to bring your bike. Don't swim in the lake though. not safe

6 Kat

Perhaps my fav spot in the 6

Mikey YA YA !

Great Green park with lots of room for special events (now the new home of Toronto's Annual Buskerfest!).

Mohammed Bilal

Lush green property with decent views of city's skyline. Good for a family picnic, public event or weekend outing. Well maintained by the authorities and people. There's a beach in close proximity to the park too. Good spot for all the fitness freaks too. Parking is available and good connection with TTC street car, subway and bus.

ROMAN O'NEAL

Pretty relaxing place to hangout

Jeff Warshaw

I live near Woodbine Park and walk dogs there often. They love the duck pond and the circular boardwalk. In the summer months, it seems like there are events there every week, from Ribfest to Jazz fest and Afro-Fest. A place where fragrant lilacs bloom in spring, it is a quiet haven in winter. Bordering the Lakeshore, it is close to restaurants, the beach and the TTC.

Mohammed Abdul Majid Qureshi

Awesome park for evening walks and healthy outing. Well maintained. The only grim I'll have is the number of slides available for children. Also I guess some dog owners let their dogs carelessly take a dump in the sand area allocated for children to play.

Dana Mihut

Been there today for the Food Truck Festival!!!!! It was great! Lots of food choices and good music ????

Poonam Mane

I like this park in summers. It's accessible by TTC and away from downtown crowd. It's a nice park where you can go for a walk or enjoy beach time. You will see many people playing volleyball on the beachside. It's a good beach and you can go inside if water is not cold. Sunset view is amazing from this beach.

Mr. Starks

Amazing place to walk with family, jog or bike ride. The jazz festival was a bonus!

Charmi Mehta

Its a huge and nice park. With a lakeside walking track and a big park for kids to play around. It's 2 min away from the woodbine beach and a cozy place to spend a quality time.

Cassandra DLCM

Very peaceful to just go for a walk, with a nice selection of restaurants and the movie theatre nearby.

Pedro Salomão

Great park to walk around, chill or play volleyball. Nice and clean with a few benches and well lit at night. Sometimes they have events at the park and it’s super spacious and organized.

Preet Uppal

Day well spent so peaceful and charming

Fae

Steve Carlson

Great place for festivals and events

Edward Fine

went to Woodbine Park for Canada day it was the sponsored by q107 radio station and they had live bands they were actually tribute bands and they were really good I really had a great time unfortunately I recommend wearing a hat and bring sunglasses and bring some suntan lotion cuz I got burnt crispy but overall it was a great time and they had live music entertainment off until 11 that night Woodbine Park often has a lot of events and there's so many restaurants and bars right near the area to walk around and enjoy.

Kiana 'rookz' Eastmond

Always a great little park to walk my dog in.

Toronto Sound Therapy

Amazing Stage here! Perfect Park to Chill and Vibe out ♥️????????

Bob Launder

We went during Buskerfest so these activities presented many interesting events for a family. The grounds themselves are very well kept and would be a nice place for a quiet walk.

Lawrence Lee

Nice scenic views of the city and the fountain area is serene. Great place to relax after a long day of work.

angela

Lots of places to BBQ, bike paths maintained, boardwalk great, beach is clean, south washrooms are cleaner than the north side

Renae MacLeod

B Roy Chaudhary

Lovely park right next to the beach with very well landscaped paths along a pond with a large water fountain as the photos show... also has a beautiful play areas with swings/climbing frames/wall for kids 4-11 or so to enjoy. Clearly well loved by the locals as you can see older couples just walking and enjoying the scenery or others running or walking their dogs... enjoy your visit if you come here...

Gud Munki

Went there for the 2017 Annual Toronto Woofstock: North America's Largest Festival for dogs. We brought our lil furry baby and he was so happy, excited and a bit overwhelmed by all the different dogs, sights and sounds. It's a very fun event that everyone should at least try once.

Newt “Frostybear” Frost

So much trash, I’m always brining a bad to pick up alcohol, cigarettes, bags, cans and more. I just wish we had more people who would clean up or perhaps offer more trash bins so people don’t feel the need to toss. Signage for the water arena needs to be double sided not just for the “dogs on leash” Display signs clearly

majeed raheem

Great place for Eid praying specially for families washrooms , delicious home made food , games for kids and parking

Leighton Sickler

This park had it all. Large green spaces, swan pond, playground for kids, close to the beach and hosts some incredible events like Ribfest, Bestival, Beach Jazz Festival main stage, etc.

Sevda

Woodbine park is one of my favorite park in Toronto. You can enjoy the natural atmosphere you can make bbq and it is walking distance to Woodbine beach you can enjoy unbreakable sunshine as well..There is also has a large playground and a mini water park with water toys where children can play and enjoy themselves.. Btw if you don't wanna swim in the lake, they also have a free-swimming pool.woodbine park 5 munites far away from kate garden

It’s a huge park. There is so big but cozy children playground. Beautiful view of the downtown and absolutely incredible place for skateboarding.

LV RB

Gorgeous park with lots of green space and a nice pond to sit around. The beautiful houses on its east side greatly compliment this lush green space. Only a few minutes walk to the water.

NME PROMO

Loved Afro Fest!

Geneva Neale

I always enjoyed the International Jazz Festival listening to flavours of performance by seasoned musicians eg jacksoul R$B band RIP HAYDAIN NEALE.

LAMA AL

I loved the beach, first time was on CANADA DAY 2019 watching the Fireworks was the best view ever. However there were some people brought their own fireworks and take it off between the people that was dangerous ;SERIOUSLY! But over all it was very AMAZING????????

Jon T.

Nice place but generally very busy.

Sarah Nicholas (Away With You)

It's a great place to take a stroll on the boardwalk. Also a good place to bike on the bike paths. The beach can get quite busy. The water is a bit cold to swim in even in the summer. Although the pool just by it is nice to swim in with a view lol. The beach itself can get a bit dirty, ie garbage... finally the ice cream shack at the east end is a nice way to finish off at woodbine.

Clare Nobbs

This is a beautiful park, well maintained and overflowing with life. Especially wonderful in July during Afro Fest!!!

Anthony Ellis

Very exciting place watched an amazing awesome concert...

ZEN DRAGON

Perfect day for the beach...found cheap parking..4$...all good except for the guy in the thong!

David Toles

Wide paved paths, kids playground and natural amphitheatre in the middle of a well manicured and maintained treed park setting close to everything.

Emily Weaver

Not really a great place for fenced in off leash.

Orla O Connell

Nice park to walk the dog, not much to do and not much scenery

Mia Marukot

I was there for Woodstock 2016. It was clean and well maintained, could have used more trash cans to prevent littering.

Tiffany Jean

Big spacious park went to the food truck festival (excellent experience) cant really say much for the park but they did charge $20 for parking

Leslie Chin-Ting

Nice little pond to skate

Noha Hassan

Busker fest not as last year. Less shows and despite it is free, performers expect you pay a donation or they get angry of you. You pay more than if it was with a fixed rate.

Andrew Power

Huge area with a giant sandy beach. Facilities on-site seem well maintained too.

Mina Tawadrous

Awesome quiet little park - good range of different types of activities for different ages. They have a giant spinning climbing structure as well as a mini rock climbing wall which have been favourites for my kids. Also plenty of green space to toss around a frisby or have a picnic. Finally there’s a beautiful pond with a fountain that makes for a brisk 5 - 10 minute nature walk around it

Andrew Kan

Great park to stroll through. They have a beautiful fountain, kid's playground, and a splash pad. It was pretty clean. They even have events here like a food truck festival.

V F

Have been coming here for years for the annual fireworks. Went here this year and watched rage against the machines. There were a couple of food trucks too but the food wasn't that great. The desserts..ice creams etc were really good. Went to the beach to watch the fireworks and it was ok. No music with the show isn't a real show. Miss the show @ Harbourfront.

Aeon D

Great place to enjoy nature, kids love that place. Easily accessible by public transport

Patel Mansi

Summer feels here.. great place for enjoying water sports , volley ball.. You can definitely swim here!

Selene Olivera

Great place! Tons of fun but the fountain needs cleaning badly

Laura Shaw

It's a great outdoor space for walking around. It's near the boardwalk and beach. There are families there, paths, and trees. There is a small kids water park (jets of water/splash pad type thing.) There are events like Paws in the Park which is great.

Mariana Rocha

Beautiful park! It has a nice grassy area to chill out. Good for walking around.

Sherley “Sherasaurus” J

Lots of parking. Cool open space and near the highway!

Rajat Chadda

Great place for a walk - although Cherry Beach or Kew Beach is a better place for a more secluded cozy walk. Also, they held the Food Truck festival here and it was amazing!

Huzaifa Memon

Large park in the city core, great location.

Michael Gfroerer

Woodbine Park is a wonderful création of wetlands, plants and animals. It is a wonderful, peaceful walk, with a large gazebo of uncertain purpose. There is a charming group of story-telling nature plaques. Just a short walk from the beach and lake, this created wetland has a wonderful inhabitation of birds filled with songs.

Angana Chatterjee

It's my park...love it❤

SLADE NELSON

The food truck festival was awesome. No dearth of awesome cuisines for foodies

Simon Rojas

Nice park for a stroll. They usually hold events and concerts here as well.

Very nice place. People enjoying their leisure with family. Clean and quiet. There is a small pond in the middle of the park. You can see some small fish and some goldfish. There is a place for kids. Overall it’s a nice place for hangout.

Phelix Lore

Have good views, nice resting place. And children playing area

kare

Nice place to bbq, picnic, chill out and when I was there I got to listen to some hazz

April Chan-Tsui

The north side of the park near Queen St. E/ Measurement Park is a nice open green space for hanging out. That side isn't too busy, which is currently perfect for social distancing. It's also in close vicinity to all the restaurants; we grabbed Brett's Ice Cream from across the street and sat on a picnic blanket in the park, which was perfect!

Tara W

I love this park. There is so much to enjoy here. The boardwalk is great for walks, runs or bicycling. Beautiful beach and volleyball nets during the summer. Their is also the Woodbine pool to swim at if you don't want to take a dip in the lake.

Christopher

Beautiful fountain in the middle of the pond. Very relaxing to sit and listen to the music of the fountain while watching Terns dive to fish, and paddle along.

ClashwithCute

Very nice park .. you can have fun with your friends.. whenever you feel sad just have a walk .. feel the nature..

Javier Pacheco

Nice big park with proximity to the beach and well maintained green areas.

Nate Kogan

Nice park. I was here for Buskerfest and it was well laid out. Good large park in the east end.

Noam Tau

Don't miss the amazing park, the amazing views, comes rain or shine (or snow...)

Mathieu

On a hot summer day, what better way than to spend it at the beach? This park is amazing and has never failed to bring a smile to my face. There are lots of people who come here, so make sure to get here early. Take the TTC as parking is hard to come by in the summer.

Taylor Koyanagi

My favorite Beach in Toronto. Water is hit or miss in terms of clear aesthetic depending on winds but the last time I was there the water was crystal clear. Unless you go on a hot day, the water can be quite cold. Long Beach with beach volleyball nets. You can also rent paddleboards here. A few little shops for food/icecream/gelato, some communal little grills, bikeshare racks and parking options available. Would recommend.

M Patel

Beautiful place to spend few hours

Marcel Stoney

Fun times at the afro fest......

Zachary Lee

Came here for Rib-Fest 2016. Lots of space but limited parking (Most are paid parking), taking public transit is advised.

Roger Mak

I enjoyed the sun while walking along the boardwalk. The park is clean and feel safe walking alone.

Forrest Fannin

Lots of odd creatures to catch a sight of here!

Santhosh Reddy

Great place and will be busy on the weekend. Washrooms on the site. If you cross the road big park with splash pad and washrooms.

Ebby

Went to the food truck festival here, its a nice beach. Never swan in the lake tho

Lorraine Lester

Great experience Woofstock 2019 was a hit. Ton of vendors and fun activities for your dog. Even an adult beer lounge from Blacklab brewery.

HARRIS LAM

I always take walks to this park and swing by the beach for meditative and calming purposes. It's nice to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

Scottyp.photography

Great place to relax and read a book, or perhaps knit. It's really beautiful all year round, the scenery is absolutely outstanding. There's a playground for the children, you can go for a walk and enjoy the view of Lake Ontario. It has public washrooms and benches all along over if you want to take a break. There's a nice waterfall that is nice to sit around. In the summer they have ribfest there, which is awesome, and sometimes they have outdoor music festivals.

George Haslam

Not much shade. This park desperately needs trees. Woofstock now makes you pay$15 for the honor of letting you shop at all the booths. We were given one bag of treats.

Taz Devel

Good place to go summer time music lots of people having a good time kid friendly swimming rollerblading hot women in the summer go check it out

Liam Yum

Amaranath TN (Amr)

Plenty of space and tree, good for one day vacation.

Nyx Cole

It's a lovely bit of green space that is perfect for strolls and walking the dog.

Kelley Evans

A beautiful natural park with winding trails. Easy to forget you're in the city. Wish there was more shade

Tammy Mac Adam

Has way to much sand hard to walk to the water

Indranil Chowdhury

A nice place ok the beach. The shoreline is very Rocky and makes it difficult to reach the water barefoot. The kite festival was amazing and I had a really good time

Sheniz Meghji

Best place to go during the summer. They have amazing different cultural festivals. Woodbine beach, which has a boardwalk, is also just steps away to enjoy. The 28 acre park on the west side of the development is a nature lover’s paradise. The natural eco system, which includes a pond and a boardwalk that cuts through long grass and bull rushes, is home to many species of wildlife and birds. Residents have reported sightings of coyotes, foxes, turtles, beavers, swans and ducks just to name a few. The park also has wonderful human-made attractions such as the water play area, playground, climbing wall, soccer fields and a bandshell where many concerts, such as the Beaches Jazz Festival and Waterfront Blues Festival, are held.

Mark Hutchinson

Nice place for a walk or a sit near the pond on the mini boardwalk. Big kids playground and splash pad too.

Mani Bhandari

Beautiful park with beautiful walking trails , fountain in the centre of the park around which the walking trails run even for bikers, it was fun. Huge green parks with the center stage as well. Fun family place for summer picnic s.

Paul Hackl

A beach for beach lovers. Wide, long, busy on weekends. Food nearby, loads of volleyball action. Swimming is great, a bit cool in July, perfect on hot days in August. TTC accessible with a bus from Woodbine subway station. There is a changing station. The beach is groomed daily but be sure to dispose of trash and recycling properly please.

Eli Emmanuel Manga

Excellent park for picnics, events where kids can keep themselves busy; Parking available. Great place for family and friends

MonaLisa Leung Beckford

I came here for Afrofest this past weekend. The park is kept very clean and the lawn was cut low. There's many places to sit and relax (benches and grass area). Parking is definitely hard to find, but that could be because thousands of people were coming here for the festival. It's a great place to host this festival!

Gurdeep Dhaliwal

Great little beach with plenty of sand. A little rocky towards the water but a good visit nonetheless. Free parking located across the street.

Leonard E

Super chance to get out and enjoy the day! Sampling different food options...so many choice with many in the $10-15 range at the Toronto Food Truck Festival. P parking available onsite or private event parking for $20.

Omair Khan

Beautiful walk for charity also great 5km trail for jogging and cycling akong the Woodbine beach boardwalk

Tony Rodrigues

Love it.

Mohammad Langari

it's a nice place, parking available for free, in-place barbeque facility, volleyball on the beach, you just need to bring the net and the ball, the posts are installed

Michael Grover

Good spot for mid-sized events. The park itself is nothing special, but it is right across from the beach, which is.

Nafi Haque

It's always nice to stroll around the park or just relax at the beach. The Victoria Day fireworks was also awesome.

Simply Emie Vlogs

Beautiful family friendly beach in Toronto. Just 3o minutes from home. Boardwalk is awesome. There's washroom and shower room.

shweta nanajkar

Amazing park. Good for kids and dogs. This park has awesome fall colors too.. must see spot for fall colors!! ????

Cheryl Saunders

Good for outdoor events such as Afrofest and Jazz etc., as can have 2 stages that don't drown out each other. Easily accessible by car and TTC transit. Too bad there's no shelter if it's raining, then must cope with mud. Nice that one can also see some Cherry Blossoms when they bloom.

Denis Nossevitch

Large fields, across from Woodbine beach, paths are great for dogs and people alike. A really good venue for outdoor events.

Alicia “Reds”

I love this place since it has the skatepark where my son literally spends like 6hrs there some days just training and filming little clips of his day I love that they have a couple walkways and a restaurant and tim Hortons plus the beach with the volleyball nets its def a place to visit

Went there on Canada Day and was definitely worth it, the place is so neat and clean, huge areas for picnics and great places for children to play around. Definitely recommend people to go and check this out!

Pamela Camara

Sun sets on the Skate Park beautifully ✌????

Midhun Harikumar

A large and neat park. It's well maintained and there is space for concerts. There are beautiful gardens and trees here.

The Rumboo

Great park to enjoy your time, just near the beach so it's a great environment to be around.

Kal Sukkar

Nice park by the beach, but needs some work. It seems to be overlooked

sam likopulos

Wow so beautiful and kept so clean loved it here.

yopo pokhrel

Close to my Area.. Its just a park but during summer lots of events here.. I visit during foodtruck festival.. Live performance, bbq corn.. And tonns of food truck cuisines to chose from..

J S

I live within walking distance of this beautiful scenery. Morning, day or night. It is absolutely cool spot to chill. Especially if you have a dog to run an play. …

Adora Randle

Very nice place for Bestival to be hosted !

Kingsley Ezeocha

It was great getting out again after an extended period of lockdown. Super crowded like a carnival

Samuel Ouga

Was here for Toronto Afrofest 2019. Very spacious and close by grocery stores, bars, restaurants and TTC. Great for walks and all sorts of outdoor activities during the summer.

Joseph Collins

Buskerfest with CUPE was great, even rain did not dampen the kids spirit!

Francisco Escarameia

Great place to spend a few hours in the Summer. Home of the annual Beaches Jazz Festival.

Shakes Nation

Great location if you are driving. There is ample parking provided if you want to pay. But if you wanted to avoid paying for parking and don't mind taking the TTC to the location then you can park near Woodbine Station. Parking on the street is free and then walk to the station and take the 92 down to the park. Or you can park south of Danforth along Woodbine. I always do this routine when going to the Buskerfest since they switch the location from downtown. It is not too irritating to get to. You do not have to wait too long for a bus.

Ali Chetah Sutrisno

Amazing park! Very serene and has something for everyone.

JonPaul Amaral

What a nice place to spend the day

brad matson

Beautiful park lots of parking space for.dogs.good venue to see free concerts all summer. Nice boardwalk and bsndshell in case it rains. Steps away from the beaches.lots of restaurants and takeout for a picnic.. Easy to drive to or Public transit will get you there.

Peter K

Attended the Beer Craft Ribfest with my friends. We all had a great time!

Joey “LazerCat” Huff

One of the only parks without drug users or unsafe litter scattered about. A safe playground for children and a fountain pond for dogs to play in.

Mike M.

Still a youngster amid Toronto's mature park crowd this park aspires to great things alas weekends see it overun with drunken music "fests" and greasy food trucks. Attracts the same crowd that any "free" event attracts. If it's your thing then go for it.

Completed in 2002, the neighbourhood of Woodbine Park is located on the site of the old Greenwood Racetrack and is believed to be the largest residential development to have appeared in old City of Toronto in many decades. It spans 83 acres and is bounded by Coxwell Avenue to the west, Woodbine Avenue to the east, Lakeshore Boulevard to the south and Queen Street East to the north. The neighbourhood has approximately 400 freehold single family homes and about 450 condo units in five buildings along the south side of Queen Street and two other low-rise condominium buildings on Boardwalk Drive. The site was used as a horse racing track for 150 years. It was originally known as Woodbine Raceway, then later Greenwood. The street names in Woodbine Park commemorate the history of the site and surrounding area. Northern Dancer Blvd is named after the most famous racehorse in Canadian history. There’s Winners Circle, Sarah Ashbridge, in honour of one of the early settlers of the Coxwell-Queen Street East area, and Joseph Duggan, who was the owner of the racetrack back in the 1880s and was one of the founders of the Ontario Jockey Club. This entry was pulled from Wikipedia: Greenwood Raceway is a defunct horse racing facility in Toronto Inaugurated in 1874 as Woodbine Race Course at the foot of Woodbine Avenue and Lake Ontario, it was owned and operated by two gentlemen named Pardee and Howell. Within a few years financial problems resulted in the property reverting to Joseph Duggan, the original land owner and retired innkeeper. In the early 1880s Duggan founded the Ontario Jockey Club (OJC). The facility hosted seasonal harness racing for Standardbred horses and flat racing events for Thoroughbreds. In just over a decade, with its close proximity to Lake Ontario, the boardwalk, and the bustling retail strip of Queen Street East, Woodbine Park has matured into one of the most popular residential neighbourhoods and destinations in Toronto and the Beach.

Amir Hossain

Well maintained park, very nice place to spend time with the family!

Arunava Mandal

Beautiful beaches, boardwalk, surfers can surf, beach volley courts a plenty

Bruna Carvalho

A lovely park to go with your friends and family, enjoy the sun or just do picnic. They have a nice fest during summer time with lots of different activities and live music. They also offered a great variety of food, had a great time there.

The Beach Foodie

Still ice on the trails/sidewalks, but well used via families & seniors.

catalina bayarres

A nice little walk to get you ready for the long walk on the beach.

Mac Peters (Macpeters)

The landscaping is nice - it gets muddy. They put a lot of native plants in, which is nice. Lots of frogs and birds - and the kids splash pad is super cute. I don't get measurement park in the corner. A bunch of rulers, all alike, buried inconsistently? I guess it's 'art'?

Sergio ON

Nice place to see fire vorks on Victoria day. Not so criwdy like on Woodbine beach. Also, even you can find a place around park where to park a car.

Jon Whitlock

Love having it on my doorstep, get there early to claim a decent spot, make sure you get water or food before you go as it's a little walk to any stores. Oh and pick up your litter and dog poop thanks

DJ Duck

Here for woofstock! Great time

Yves Le Goff

Quiet, friendly, clean, fresh air. A rare jewel in Toronto

Steven Solarz

My dogs love Woodbine Park. It isnt an offleash park though, so be careful.

Tania Sultana

I went for a concert organized in the park. There is a small pond and a fountain. There is parking too, not sure if it was free. The woodbine beach is a few minutes walk from the park

G Sam

Another great park in the city. Just few steps away from Woodbine Beach. Ut is adjacent to a tricked out skating park as well. Pack a picnic if you like but there are restaurants galore along Queen St including a few authentic ethnic choises.

Bryson Winchester

Great park for the many events that the beaches hold. Food truck festivals at this place are AWESOME.

Kinjal Madhu

Very nice place for family outings and picnics. Went for the Buskerfest and it was fun. Well-organized shows, food, rides, and great volunteers helping people.

ooo P

Limited views and parking spaces. Full of people at any time in warm days

Michael L

Great park for a walk near the lake and beach. I always pay a visit to this park in the summer months.

Quincy A

Decent park in the east end. The park is boring with zero amenities or attractions. Typically boring Canadian lack of imagination and design.

Lee Soper-pike

Went to food truck festival was amazing considering how many people were there the area was kept very clean and grabages weren't over loaded either grounds crew did amazing

Kevin Earle

Usually walk the boardwalk and have ice cream after playing tennis at Kew Gardens ???? Nice beach on Lake Ontario with bike trails. Parking can be a problem but there's a pay lot on Queen Street. You can also find a good meal 20 minutes west in Leslieville ????????

Ryan Holland

This is such a beautiful park and meet up place! I recommend it to all tourists as well as those who live in and around the area!

Lorena Marin

Loved it. Really big to keep distance and enjoy this amazing weather

Amy Chan

Good park near the beaches that hosts various events throughout the summer.

tamara balazsovits

Wonderful park near downtown Toronto. Best beach in town. They have a massive volleyball court area with many courts. The beach can get very busy on weekends and holidays so make sure to get there early to get the best spot.

Thylan Keith

Reconnecting with nature is made memorable with vast greenery and walkable distanceto the beach. Ideal for a picnic or weekend getaway. No benches though and next to non shelter in case of rain.

lovepreet singh

Very clean beach but bit overcrowded with people. Location and view is good, also have some food restaurant near by which is easy

Natalie Dash

Beautiful park - great for picnics, walks and lots of play/water features for kids!

Cheryl Parsons

Woofstock....best day ever!

Livia Pataki

Fantastic event today to celebrate Eid al Fitr. There's something for everybody! Congratulations to the organisers!

Ernesto Polsinelli

Attended Buskerfest 2017 and had a great time. Nice city park, lots of open space.

Albert T

Its a okay park, first time visiting this place. Had a nice man made pond with a water feature. Had decent trails to walk the park and the surrounding neighborhood made it feel inviting. Plus it was close to the beach and small retail stores

Austin Vieira

Love it there, a lot of wildlife if your willing to be patient and look around! Also someone's pet bird seems to be living there recently!

Temel Reis

Great place to take the family and have a picnic relax and enjoy some quiet time...the Busker Festival was fun to attend to this year...

Paul Nguyen

Alex S

Great place!

Jon H

A fantastic park. Has a playground, splash pad, field for sports and a nice winding walking trail. Highly recommended!

Lukasz Pajecki

Woodbridge park is a great place, and it's right next to Ashbridges Bay park. Its an awesome area to spend with your family or pets.

Meg McIsaac

Excellent boardwalk...clean beach...could use more parking.

Manesh Mistry

Great place to walk and take in the beach. Can get a little crazy on the weekends when non locals flood the area and take up all the parking that should be available to local residents

Ambreen Musani

Extremely crowded. No social distancing was being followed. Found the beach really dirty..

Owen Baird

Nice park but not enough benches. We bought lunch to eat in the park after the rain, and could not find an empty bench.

Wayne Afemui

The park is ok, nice if you like grass and concrete walkways lol. But there is a pond with a walkway around it that feels more like a natural setting. Its nice to sit and watch the ducks swim and sometimes swans too. Also its right across from the nearest beach.

ABDULAZIZ INGAR

It's nice and clean areas. But water in the lake by ashbriges bay area very dirty and very bad smell like human waste.

Joyce Wanjiku

A park full off space and clean

Nicole Edwards

I went with my kids and we had a great time! We had a picnic, they played in the water park, went for a walk at the lake and finally I joined them in the playground. I felt like a kid again. We had a blast. Loved it!

Kristin Alphonso

It beautiful. I love how the path along the east side of the park is a walk through two rows of trees. It's lovely. Unfortunately down on the docks three of the large planters are tipped over and there is dirt spilled across the path. It's still nice. There is a playground along with a water park area for kids. It's in a very animal friendly neighborhood as well.

Wanda Rutherford

Great to see the kids playing hockey and skating..

Bell Chaisanguanmitt

Free event with live music. Fun place to just chill.

Dee Dee

Ive been going here since i was little such a peaceful and serene place. I love sitting on the rocks and looking out across the water and just chilling✌

Racquel Anthony

I attended the busker fest at the park. It was a large park perfect for the event. There were accessible bathrooms and the park was very clean.

Md. Ashiqur Rahman

Good place to come and chill.can get crowdy on holidays. Plenty of options for activities.

Bethany Beyatch

I love it. Nice place , will be back next summer

Aftab Subhan

Big and open, nice place for family outings. Normally have special events, music and different local bands.

Melissa M

This park is beautiful, particularly the side with the fountain. We were here on the weekend for woofstock. Now, we have attended in past years and thoroughly enjoyed the festival with the pups. This year was a bit of a disappointment. It took place over a smaller area of the park, which was very muddy by Sunday afternoon. The introduction of the admission charge wasnt that great. The cost is too high for what you get. If our dog had not won VIP, it would been a complete waste. I understand that the money goes to charity, but with only 2 hours left to still charge $17/person to walk around a city park to buy more products still seemed expensive. I enjoyed it when it was by donation entrance. Allows anyone to enjoy it. It's worth it if you are trying to find a new food or treat for your dog, or a smaller local company for leashes. Otherwise I'd just donate directly to your local shelter, take your dog to one of our local off leash dog parks, and watch the Superdogs when they come to the cne. We will probably go back next year with all that said, just because it is a nice area, and a great date idea

Joelle Prophete

I only go there once a year for RibFest but it's always a lot of fun. I appreciate very much that they have a handwashing station :). Also there is a kids park and water structure which is really nice in the hot summer days

Denise C

I went to Woodbine park for AfroFest, it was my first time at the event and I was blown away! There were so many people there it was hard to move around sometimes, massive audience at each of two stages. Lots of stalls with food, vendors with clothing and music and all sorts of things for sale. it was really beautiful to see I had a fantastic time.

Lyd Nel

Great for a stroll or inline skating, whatever activity you like to do! Nice open spaces and not to congested like the beach

Roger Yick

Was great until a group came and started chain smoking weed near us; come on guys, I know it's legal and you probably don't care but still, please try to be considerate and mindful with these kind of recreational activities around kids

Haresh Ravendran

Woodbine Park never disappoint. This years food truck festival was a sell out!! I enjoy coming here every year always alot of cool vendor's, live music.

Dave Bouffard

I love bringing my dog here to play ball.. There is a fun park for the kids to play at, with a water pad for the hot summer days.

Amit Minocha Advocate

Good place for pics and tourists. Eton centre near by for grt shopping n food options. Good for Short visit.

Dylan Amardeil

Lovely park with a pond, playground, band stand and some big open fields. Hosts many events through the spring and summertime

L. Ho

Large, open green space with a permanent stage. Pre-pandemic, it was the site for Buskerfest and other summer festivals and concerts. The hilly areas are good for sunbathing away from crowds and are even better for rolling down. My kids fly their drones there when it is not busy. Washrooms are located closer to the playground which could use an update. The city has done a good job with landscaping various areas but could add more interesting plants to make the park more vibrant! Free street parking (with restrictions) along Coxwell or paid parking along Queen.

Peter Orichefsky

Great pace to jog and walk the dogs. Every morning the beach is cleared of all garbage and debris by city employees. Needs more picnic tables.

Royce Merkle

Great park. Close to beaches and best Canada Day fireworks. Super Q107 concert event on Canada Day.

Richmond Lam

Nice beach area with long boardwalk path. Lots of volleyball nets. Small area is flooded now. A few homeless beggars the area.

Heather Marshall

Great area for soccer - though grass could use a trim. Connected to playground and splash pad area. Clean washroom facilities. Close to water and special events area including Bandshell for performances.

RC

Came for Woofstock. Park was clean enough to enjoy. Good for walks and packed with families in the summer.

Guilherme Cavalcante

Gorgeous park

Caroline Yu

Beautiful and educational trip through the park. We went for the dog show, but ended up walking through the park with a young friend. She loved the little story boards with info about park wildlife.

Robert Hedley

A great place to live and enjoy Woodbine beach and Ashbridges Bay Yacht Club

Therese Lane

A great place for a walk near the water anytime of the year. Pretty busy in the summer time. There are lots of places to sit, in the shade or the full sun. Very eclectic neighbourhood with lots of interesting people. There are art installations on the beach in February which are quite awesome. There is a dog park in the vicinity but I don’t have a dog, so can’t say if it’s good or not. I really enjoy coming to this part of the Beach. Close to Queen St. E with tons of exciting shopping . Great area .

Kenneth Kinyera

Nice place to visit and spend time by the waters. The beach is right close by too you can enjoy the lake

Stephanie V

Popular location for festivals. Lovely open space, but there is never enough parking.

Labrador Kiko

Love this park. Very big and nice landscape. Its very near to the beaches and parking is available. There is a long trail along the park. Bicycle lane is available, animals are welcome. There are many food stalls, restaurants and pub available. Its great for a family day.

Sandy Brown

Clean good parking , clean washrooms , splash pad and playground for kids , picnic tables

Trevor Pedley

Woodbine park is a great man made natural area, where they hold lots of great events, and often have have live music shows. It also has a wetland area, and small lake, so there is lots of wildlife in the area, and plenty of great paved/groomed trails for walks. . I'm not sure if they are still coming, but it was a nesting spot for a pair of large swans, for a few years, just to give you a sense of how much it has bern naturalized, since it was created! Definitely worth a visit, if your coming to the east end of the city!

Vivian Clmnz

A crowded beach during summer, interesting activities, not a worth place to visit if you are not from the local

Crystal Eve

Nice park. Typically very crowded during the summer though
