You will be able to see all the feddbacks of real people who purchased the products of Withrow Park (Park) in Toronto (Canada).
Currently the business has a rating of 4.7 stars over 5 and the score has been calculated on 127 reviews.
You must have seen that its rating is virtually the top, and it is founded on a large number of feddbacks, so we may conclude that the score is quite faithful. If there are many people who bothered to give their score when they are happy with the business, it works.
You know that we do not usually bother to put reviews when these are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Park belongs to the category of Park.
Best OLA park in the city. My dog has made so many friends and enjoys checking out every inch of this park.
Lots to do, different kids playgrounds and wading pools. Street parking which is normal for downtown area. Washroom facilities and big open space.
Great farmers market on Saturday mornings! Highly recommend getting some breakfast at the farmers market and then going for a walk around the park. The market is also very sustainable with zero waste options. Good off leash area for dogs as well!
A beautiful park in the middle of Riverdale. Packed with families in summer. The splash pad is a major attraction. Makes us all happy to see this lovely park so well used. In winter one of the largest trees gets decorated and it brings life to the park. Thank you to the city of Toronto for making all these things possible for us!
Best park in the city. Family friendly and abundant amenities. Lively all year round.
A beautiful park to spend a few hours in. It offers a very large and friendly off leash dog park. As well, it offers climbing equipment for children, outdoor exercise equipment, baseball diamond, skating rink, public washrooms and much more.
Wonderful park! Great area for children, lots of space for picnics, soccer field, dog park, baseball diamond, and hockey rink. What more could you want?
Lovely park, good hill to sit on, good dog spotting. Very embarrassing to ride up the hill past all the people in the park, I don't like feeling like everyone is watching me sweat and breathe heavily, especially embarrassing when someone is trying to cross the street while you ride up the hill
Great sized park with lots of activity (but plenty of space where it doesn't feel crowded) - great for meeting up with friends as it's just south of the Danforth and subway, with great eating options close by. Leash free park for dogs a large area, and multiple play areas for kids
I really like Withrow park. It has a great view of the city, a leash free dog park area that means you don't have dogs ruining the Feild or other grassy areas, the play ground for kids is good there's workout equipment, basketball, tennis, table tennis, open space for blankets or birthday parties. Last time I went I tried flying a kite. I probably looked like Charlie brown to most people, but there's plenty of space for such activities there.
I visited the fenced in dog park. It was spacious and open with benches to sit on. There is also a playground with bars you could use to do pull ups, ping pong table, tennis courts, and a few other amenities. It looks like a nice park.
Great park with a view of can tower and downtown skyline! Not the best park to watch the sunset but definitely one of the better ones. Great neighbourhood too
Wonderful big open park with 2 great playgrounds. A gated area for unleash dog to run, tennis court, ping pong table. A campfire area. Skating rink. Hockey ring. Soccer field. Picnic table and large area for yoga and family time. Just wonderful park to be at.
Great park, multiple playgrounds, with a fenced in one for little ones. Lots of amenities. Wading pool in the summer. Nice for a picnic too.
Withrow Park is a big and diverse park area behind the Danforth strip. During covid, a great place to pick up great food from all the restaurants and eat in the park. Take a blanket to sit on. Everyone was very respectful of physical distancing the several times I have gone recently.
Very beautiful and calm place!! Nice to family recreation!!!
How do you review a park? It's huge - has a lot of grassy areas. It has a nice large fenced in playground for young children with a wading pool. It also has a second playground with some swings and a climbing structure. There is also a nice 'outdoor gym' sort of area with chin up bars and a few other structures for exercising. There's a bit of a ball diamond and a large field that is great for soccer. I think there is even a off leash dog park in one section. Look for the old climbing tree - it's awesome for kids to climb.
Great park to visit, lots of benches and plenty of room to keep distance
Love this dog park. Proper safe turf, decent variety of terrain, and frequented by intelligent dog owners.
It's a very nice, spacious family oriented park. The farmer's market on Saturdays is worth visiting!
Went with a group to meditate and it was a nice vibe and clean park
Beautifully maintained gardens. Lovely park to spend the day. Has bathrooms and many amenities. The gardener on site is super handsome as well!
Great park for all ages! They've got a huge playscape area fenced in for younger kids and a open one for older age groups. The skating rink and toboggan hill are great in the winter. Very dog friendly too!
Small but nice park
I love going to this park! It has older trees, lots of room to walk around, a huge dog park and 2 playgrounds for the little ones. Grab a seat at one of the many benches or just take in the view. There is a farmer's market on the weekend. It's a great resource for young and old!
Dusk Dances is an annual event in the park! A unique experience and a lot of fun!
Love coming here when I want to lay in the sun, way less crowded than Riverdale. Every year in the late summer there's a Shakespeare in the park performance
Lots of green space, a playground for kids as well as outdoor gym. Clean bathrooms, ping pong tables, a dog park near by, this park has it all. I nice alternative to riverdale park on a bit busy day. More shade here too.
Nice park to go for walks or to just sit on the benches and relax
A very large park with a number of amenities, including a full playground (with a large splash pad), a smaller playground, a baseball diamond and a large area for dogs to run. It can get very busy at popular times. Shaded areas are a bit limited, and the washroom facilities are generally quite unclean at most times; so it can be best to duck into a fast food place to pick up a drink or to use the facilities!
This park has it all. Very european vibe to it. Lots of tree cover and places to sit. Summer weekend usually have programming such as movies and theater. Amenities include: Tennis courts Hockey rink for ice and ball hockey Soccer field with stands Water parks Play grounds with swings and climbables Basketball courts Volleyball posts Baseball diamonds Off leash dog park Check out the riverdale perk down the street for a coffee shop nestled in the neighbourhood
I'm in love with this park. Great places to sit, study, enjoy the view, walk the dog. You can see downtown and the CN Tower.
Quite a nice park with lots of space... But also LOTS of people. Playground, Rink, Workout Station, Dog Park, Baseball Diamond, The Works!!
Great park. It has a large, fenced off-leash area for dogs, and one for children as well. It also has free sports areas, and a lovely weekly farmer's market. Unfortunately, the dog area is covered in wood chips and not pea gravel so your puppy will dig holes, and probably try to chew some wood chips.
Great park, but avoid the leash free.
Great park, with tennis courts, a soccer field, a baseball field, a hockey rink, 2 children's playground areas, a dog-off-leash area and from May to October, a small farmer's market every Saturday morning. Also, during the summer, several open-air dance or theater performances.
Great little off leash dog park. It’s not very big, but there is a hill so plenty of exercise for you pup. People are not as friendly as other dog parks that I’ve been to, they are a little territorial with non regular attendees
Beautiful spot!! Outdoor arena, awesome dog park and very nice community.
So much to do at this park! Everything from soccer to ball hockey and baseball! There is an off leash dog park and lots of playground equipment! Public washrooms/changerooms also on site and tons of green space as well!
Nice sprawling area surrounded by quiet residential houses, so if you have kids or friends there are plenty of spaces for a bunch of kind of people. I saw kids playing with parents, some friends filming a little fight scene, people laying on the grass, and there is a nice enclosed dog park where you can watch them play and run. Nice to stroll though or sit and stay at.
Neat park for kids. They have a splash pad in the summer and a large play area. The dog park is big and always has a bunch of dogs running about. Great for puppies too.
Literally the best dog park. Social pet owners and loving dogs.
I walk a dog in Withrow Park. There is a large off leash area for the dogs to play with hills, trees and a big field for running. There is a water fountain in summer and lots of green space for walks. The surrounding neighborhood is both beautiful and peaceful.
Nice large dog park, lots of places to sit and have a picnic without being close to others.
Great park for dogs, kids and gatherings.
Very nice park with two playgrounds, a basketball court, soccer court, hockey court and a dog park. Parking is a bit tricky but you’ll figure it out.
Excellent facilities. Wading pool with fenced in playground, dog park, second playground. Great hill for tobogganing that's not too long for younger kids unlike Riverdale. Lots of green fields, trees, and sports facilities.
This park is beautiful. There's something for everyone: play area for kids, dog park, ice rink, maybe some tennis courts(?). The grounds are landscaped beautifully and well taken care of.
Withrow Park farmer's market is on every Saturday from 9 am till 1 pm.
A good place to enjoy with family and friends. With ample space for the dogs to run freely. Good play area for children
One of my favourite places to run our Whippet puppy. Great hill to run sprints, a full soccer field that is fairly low traffic and a dog park with some great pooches to run around with. Great for fall walks too - the trees are beautiful.
This is one of the nicest parks in the city. Very clean with trees, grass, playground with splash pad in the summer, sports field and an off leash dog area.
This one of our favorite parks of the area! It's a complete experience for the kids year long and its facilities are in good shape and clean.
The new ice rink looks great!!! One of the best parks in the east end of Toronto to go with your toboggan!! Just a great family park lots to do for the little ones. Plus they have lots of benches for those who like to have a picnic.
Great park for kids and families.
This is my favourite park in the whole City. Lots of green space. Two kids playgrounds. A splash pad. Ice rink. Baseball diamond. Soccer field. Exercise equipment. Beautiful gardens. All in a beautiful and friendly neighbourhood.
We love coming for the farmers market on Saturdays in the summer. This weekend there was a kid's clothing swap and the food and playground are always a success with the kids.
Great park. Lots of benches and picnic tables to hang out on. Especially during COVID.
Withrow is a wonderful community park with plenty of amenities and playgrounds for various ages. Public bathrooms available with parking difficult to find. Fully wheelchair accessible with a fenced off dog off-leash zone. There is a hockey rink and even a workout zone for active adults. Public tennis courts are available too. One of the best examples of a well funded community inner city park.
Great park to exercise, walk the dog, play with the kids, or just go for a walk. Big enough that you can spend an hour or an hour and a half just zigzagging through the walkways. Also has an ice rink, a farmer's market on the weekends, and lots of friendly people. Overall a great place to spend a morning an evening or an afternoon.
I live nearby. This park is beautiful and spacious with lots of patches of shade, and areas for a lot of different activities (tennis, basketball, baseball, real football, hand-egg football, rolling down a hill, off leash dog area, hockey/skating rink in winter).
Awesome place for everybody! Has gardens, kids parks, sports facilities and even a dog park.
Great park with many things to keep you and kids busy. Tennis court, playground, posterior Outdoor rink, baseball diamond and dog park.
This is a fantastic park in a wonderful neighborhood of Riverside. The park has washrooms, a soccer field and a hockey rink. During the summer there are markets and fun community events like rummage sales, sew-a-thon, and compost days. It's a great place to bring your children and your dogs!
A big beautiful space to bring the family and meet up with friends.
Nice dog park, public washrooms and good sized dog park with water fountain inside for you and your pup.
It's a place were everybody gathers for winter or summer fun. Its Toronto's best keeped secret. Play grounds for the kids. Dog park for our 4 legged friends. Soccer, baseball and hockey rink. Feels like a place in the country cus of so many trees. City views from the hill. Just simply beautiful.
Great park for picnics. Always performance of a farmers market on the weekends in the summer. Very relaxing and nice environment.
Beautiful park with lots of great summer events. I love attending Dusk Dances here.
Lovely park, lovely neighborhood, lovely view! So relaxing!
Great relatively hidden neighbourhood park for a picnic or hangout with friends. Lots of space with a nice view of the skyline and not as packed as nearby Riverdale Park.
Best park. Great for kids and families and the dog off leash area is awesome too. There's also a fenced wade pool area for kids (they can also run around off leash!) Great park.
Perfect for kids to play around
A vibrant community space. In the summer you'll find a farmer's market, dance festival, and theatre performances. (Photos: Dusk Dances 2018: "Oceanic Reach" and "Alpha Compass")
Love this park! It has a little bit of everything in a lovely and friendly neighbourhood, just a stone's throw from the Danforth. There's a designated playground for toddlers which has a supervised splash pad during the summer. This is also the location for the Withrow Farmers Market during the summer as well. In the winter, there's an ice hockey rink and a little toboggan hill that the little ones enjoy.
Love the dog park over there. Great for picnics also. He looks happy :)
We go here nearly every weekend. It's a true gem of the city. In the summer there are lots of things going on like theatre, markets, programs for kids and adults. It's well maintained, quiet, and there are lots of dogs (there is an off leash dog park here too). Skating rink in the winter, baseball and football (American and rest of the world) in the summer. Lots of space. What more could you ask for?
Beautiful park. Decent sized public skating rink.
Love this neighbourhood market! Great variety of stalls, from fresh produce and baked goods to small-batch cider and wine to handmade textile products... And hot prepared healthy foods and love entertainment too! Plus a zero waste station (reusable plates bowls utensils etc) and, coffee both and arts and crafts for the kids.
I miss living across the street from this place. Just saw the episode of Kim's Convenience where they play on the soccer field by Carlaw and made me think of it. It's got an enclosed off-leash dog park, small baseball and tee-ball diamond, skating rink, kids playground, an excercise park (with chin up bars and whatnot), tennis court, and lots of nice big trees and pretty flowers. May to October (I think) brings the Famers market on Saturdays, and they do a pretty decent summer theater production, can't remember what it's called. It's nice, it's a good park.
A good alternative from the popular parks around the area. Really accessible if travelling by public transit or biking. Lots of trees, green space, courts, and places to sit down and relax. Bathrooms as well!
Super family friendly, zero riff raff generally. Truly a great neighbourhood. Amenities include tennis, sigh on two courts so early times are best for access. A hockey rink/ball hockey summer. There is also a cool fire pit to roast some good hot dogs or marshmallows with friends, ping pong, playgrounds and access to Greek town Danforth offering the best Greek food and numerous other great options. Numerous productions such as Shakespeare in the park are any perk
This was a great park in the heart of East York. It has an extensive playground, with a sports field, tennis and basketball courts, as well as a skating rink. It does not, however, have a designated running track
One of the best parks in the city aside from High Park. It's better than Trinity bellwoods except it doesn't have as many cool kids. It needs a human powered ferris wheel and a designated soccer field in the north end.
Love this park. Beautiful skyline, and a great place to see birds and the night sky. Lots of cool activities in the summer including a farmer's market, Shakespeare plays, and modern dance. Great play areas for kids.
It is a great place to take a family. The splash pad is huge and there are city staff on duty watching out for kids. It's also a great place to have a picnic under a tree. Try to go on a weekday in the summer, as weekends get extremely busy.
Love this place!!! So fun to go and hang out! Lots of green space, washrooms, tennis courts, splash pad (old concrete one), multiple playgrounds, ping pong table, huge dog park, roller/ice hockey rink, mini baseball diamond and an awesome hill to sled or roll down!
Family friendly park with tons of space to run around while allowing social distancing there's a skating rink a nice size hill with lots of space to toboggan and a smaller hill for smaller children there are 2 bathroom facilities on either end of the park basketball nets soccer field 2 childerns parks and a fire pit with logs to sit on around the fire bylaws state that you can only start a fire in Toronto parks where there is a fire pit and only to cook food so bring your own wood and some hotdogs and marshmallows there's a wading pool tennis court picnic area water fountain and baseball diamond and off leash dog park
It’s one of the prettiest parks in Toronto. Absolutely beautiful and enough room for everyone to enjoy. Loved it.
A really nice park. Well maintained and your fellow park peeps are all very respectful of one another. Huge mature trees make for lovely shaded places to hand out.
Excellent Toboggan Runs so far this year.
Beautifully kept location with an enclosed play area for children under 12. Another play area for children 9-12 both including swings. Very large park with fields for pick up soccer which is played by adults regularly. Skating/Hockey rink with change hut in the winter. Extra large dog park behind the rink that is well kept and cordoned off. Great place for winter sliding with large hill beside the dog park.
Great place with space for everyone!! Splash pad, two playgrounds, enclosed dog run, fire pit, seasonal skating rink, soccer field, baseball diamond, tennis court, ping pong table, clubhouse, two sets of washrooms, water fountains, volleyball net, seasonal Sat farmers market, toboggan hill, picnic tables, bodyweight exercise equipment, paved paths and lots of open green space with great big trees. Just wonderful ????
I love this park. Clean and dog friendly.Bathrooms open too.
Faboulas space, with different elevations they manage to cover a large range of peoples distinct reasons for going to the park. This also lends itself to never seeming to crowded
Great park, lots of playgrounds for kids and adults. Lots of space for picnics while keeping social distances.
Best downtown park in TO. Farmers market all summer and fall. Soccer field busy with exciting leagues. Two full playgrounds. One baseball diamond. Two tennis courts. Beautiful urban forest and gardens. Last but not least a perfect view of the downtown skyline and only a stone's throw away from beautiful greektown.
Beautiful, large park with a great fenced in dog park, tennis courts, 2 playgrounds, a soccer pitch, outdoor skating/floor hockey rink and lots of benches and picnic tables. Washrooms in the building with the pillars painted with vines that are open during summer holidays.
I grew up down the street from this park i have watched it grow and change. But all along it has been a wonderful place to go to. From me going as a young child to me being teenager going to hang out after school then now I take my son here and its always a great, peaceful, fun time! I have no complaints at all about withrow park
This park is frequented by many local dog walkers. These walkers have 4-9 dog's at a time with them. Haven't experienced any altercations with any walkers or any other owners that frequent here. There a dog water fountain. It's roomy, with lots of hills. It has wood chips to cover the muddy ground.
Way more chill than Riverdale park with an equally impressive and magical view of the CN Tower/Skyline. Perfect for walks, runs, soccer, and finding a tree to park yourself against while reading a book. Plus, the crossfit station is top notch! This has been my sanctuary during the pandemic. We are so lucky to live in this city because of parks like this. Truly spoiled!
Love this dog park. It is big with the hill and lots of places for the dogs to explore. It is pretty crowded with dog walkers over lunch during the week and some dogs aren't as well behaved. But in the evenings when it is owners and dogs (so a more 1:1 ratio) it is great!
Hockey, soccer, tennis, open grass, shaded grass areas, multiple jungle gyms, and washrooms - this large park has something for everybody. The facilities are well kept and it does not feel over populated. There is usually free parking to be found on quiet residential side streets.
I love Withrow Park and have frequented it for over 30 years throughout my daughter's childhood and now as a senior for daily walks. There are 2 children 's playgrounds, an ice rink, dog park, tennis courts, basketball court, baseball field, soccer field, community Centre and well maintained walkways. I have attended Shakespeare in the park and Farmer's Markets. My day is not complete without at least one trip to the park.
Big enough to have doubles of facilities like playgrounds and baseball fields. Good for sports(also has soccer field and hockey rink), dogs(off-leash, open fields), walking(paths which also have slopes), and reading(many benches and tables).
Hockey rink, soccer field, bleachers to sit on the hill and see the skyline (seen in photo from up on the hill) lots of space, very clean. Has a fire pit and you can reserve online if you want to save your spot for an outting (free ofc)
It's a great park. An east-end gem. They have plenty of space for kids to play. You can bring your dogs. They have a soccer field, baseball diamond and ice rink, though sometimes they are booked for league use, and a club house too. There is also a farmers market that pops up regularly. A great place to live near.
Nice medium sized park. Two play grounds on opposite sides of the park. North playground has a wading pool. Great place to take your kids
Great park. Message me to play roller hockey
I grew up in the Withrow Park area so I have visited that park my entire life. It has gone through many changes but it has always remained a beautiful park. It has many trees throughout the park. It has a skating rink, tennis courts, a kiddie pool, soccer field, 2 baseball diamonds, a couple of playgrounds, & nice size dog park. Great tabbagon hills in the winter. There is also free theatre in the summer. Lots of even just want to sit on a park bench and watch the birds
Hardly any dogs on a leash. Owners just let the dogs run around in full force, anywhere in the park. Must be careful if you have little children. Super crowded too. No physical distancing possible.
Good soccer field at top of good toboggan hill. Skating rink with heated change room. Could do without the dog park but that seems to be the world we live in (build parks for dogs,,,) Couple of great playgrounds. Farmers Market part of the year.
One of the best parks in the city
Great park, clean, has a dog park and playing fields. Good for family and community groups. Just respect others and you can have fun!
Amazing park! Went on Saturday to visit the awesome farmers market. There was great live music too
It's great Beautiful Park
It is a small nice park that includes almost everything for all ages. Splash pad, Tennis Courts, Children's play area, Basketball, unleashed dog area and much more.
We love Withrow park but don't get there as often as I would like. There's an adorable little door on one of the trees on the north east corner of the park. There's a nice farmers market on Saturdays. The park is quite large, we always tend to stay to the north side.
Good for kids, and pets and great set up for ping pong and tennis.
A place for the whole family. Clean and safe. Good parking
Was great good place to relax enjoy the day
Nice fenced in area for the children and generally well kept. In the Summer, the wading pool is in full swing. A definite plus for the young ones...the rink is great for the winter with better change area facilities, would be a plus. Usage of the grassy area for team sports/leagues is well utilized...more vendors for farmers market..other community groups need to have easier access whether it be for drama or musical interests
Nice park, well used but not too crowded on a Thursday evening
Beautiful park has lots of places for picnics in the shade or if your just looking for a nice walk its a great place!
Great park! Wading pool area for families, off-leash dog park, 2 baseball diamonds (1 small, 1 large), outdoor rink (currently under reconstruction), tennis courts, outdoor table tennis table, coffee shop near Southwest corner of the park, the Danforth North of it. Street parking all around. Rentable fire pit and two picnic areas. What's not to like?
Great all around park. Dog park, 2 playgrounds, wading pool, fire put, farmers market, toboggan hill, hockey rink, baseball field.
Great place - huge!! With basketball, baseball, hockey , tennis, table tennis & dog park! Gorgeous
One of my favourite places to go for a walk. And so many lovely doggies!
Nice rink, courts, baseball & soccer fields. I'd stay off the grass though. While there is an off-leash area at the SW end, a lot of people treat the whole park as off-leash. Worse yet, they don't seem to pick up after their dogs. Last year(?) I saw a dog chase a squirrel & shake it to death in front of a few kids.
Large park surrounded by neighbouring houses. It has a fenced dog park, playground, soccer field (with bleachers), large open areas, a few benches, a tennis court, and public washrooms. 2-5 minute walk to the main entertainment/restaurant area (The Danforth).
Nice park I’m amongst a quiet residential area of east Toronto. There is something for everyone here and a good alternative to Riverdale Park.
We are obsessed with the dog park at Withrow park it is the best. all the space and the terrain allows for a tired puppy by the end of the day. They continually add mulch to the park in order to keep it clean. My dog is white so this is a really good thing. My dog loves coming here and it is so great to have this in the community. Additionally they just revamped the rink and it is also a great addition. They do plenty of community events in this park and it is always a great time. Withrow park is a great place to visit in the summer for a picnic or just to hang out. Friendly people and great community. Really happy to have this place in the city or Toronto and for it to be so well majntained. Finally, the view of the CN tower is a welcome addition.
Fun for all! We got engaged in this park. Our kids play soccer and hockey in this park. We visit the play structures and wading pool in the summer. Great for running hill workouts and fab view of the city skyline! We heart Withrow...
Great park, it has everything. A children's park, a calisthenics gym, tennis courts, basketball court, a wading pool, table tennis, soccer field, hockey arena, dog park, Shakespeare in the Ruff in the summer, picnic tables, washrooms, water fountains and lots of space to throw a ball or frisbee around. Good for picnics, and has a great view of the Toronto skyline.
This park is so amazing. You can go there and relax and also do things. I would advice anyone to go there a d have fun.
Excellent park - Sun, shade, clean washroom facilities. Grab a blanket and hang out or read a book. Street parking on all sides of the park.
Such a gorgeous park with everything you'd want there ????
Well as the name says, its a park with historic, giant trees and open fields for kids to play. And modern items like dog parks to let dogs run free. But the most amazing part is the artificial ice rink the community rallied to build.
Great for dogs to run around and meet other dogs Large open space fenced just for dogs.
Love the views of the city. Such a friendly neighborhood and lots of space for children to play, sports, dogs, and even the weekend market.
Great park, tennis courts, off leash dog park. Farmers market on Saturday mornings.....
They have a great fenced in dog park! There are always so many dogs for mine to play with. However - your dog will get sooo dirty if you bring him after a rainfall!! The pics below are 2 times I've taken my dog to this park after it had rained!
Nice park. I got a city permit for the fire pit and had a weeny roast birthday. It was lots of fun to be sitting around a fire with friends. Lots of facilities, dog park, ping pong table, sports fields, but unfortunately, the ice rinks are closed this winter for reconstruction.
Gorgeous park with many attractions from tennis to soccer, including a fabulous dog park!
In Greektown, we visited a neighborhood play park for kids. Had a lot of fun with our child. Would recommend it. Then a walk on Danforth is beautiful day.
