One of my favorite place to go to during Fall season. Beautiful trees and Beautiful buildings. I love that it's located in the City and conveniently close to subway station. Its nice too during Summer time, if you work in the area to hang out and eat lunch on Lunch break.

Louisa Bauman

I went here to meet a friend on a beautiful autumn day. Nice paths and gorgeous trees and fall colours.

Nischay Modi

Beautiful park near museum subway station.plenty of space for jogging , playing and just sitting and reading books. Toronto public library is also close to the park (approximately 15min ). Close to University of Toronto campus.

Anita Windisman

A terrific building to visit for Doors Open. Check the website for guided tours too. My favorite room was the one that featured First Nations art.

What can I say, it’s a big and spacious park.

Owen Wiseman

Beautiful building and stunning architecture. There is a ton of history here that reminds you of the joys of being Canadian. The question period was highly entertaining and definitely deserves a visit.

TWD Cameron

The nice place and a lot of historical places YouTube channel is ( Toronto walk drive )

Florent Perret

This park is nice to meet people but unfortunately it's pretty dirty. Don't bring your date in this place you'll regret it. Be careful on the weekend you'll have a huge chance to be in the middle of a protest.

Amazing building and area to view anytime of the year. Security a little tight but if you left them know why you're on the grounds at of Queen's Park then no issues. Great January day for walks and photographs. Queen's Park is an urban park in Downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Opened in 1860 by Edward, Prince of Wales, it was named in honour of Queen Victoria. The park is the site of the Ontario Legislative Building, which houses the Legislative Assembly of Ontario.

Wasn't fully worth the renovation which took I think over 3 years, but there are a large quantity of benches and nice greenery.

Nandini Narayanan

A nice patch of green in the centre of downtown. It has a nice jogging/walking track around it. The park is lush green with many old trees. It also has several benches and tables for us to just relax and enjoy.

I liked to chill, read books and have snacks surrounded by beautiful architectures and nature.

Meet Bhavsar

Walked around Queen’s Park but no tables were empty so we sat at a picnic table by the Centre for Criminology & Sociolegal Studies. It’s a little south and across the street from the main park with a fenced gate and some large trees. Very cute picnic location but it's close to the road so maybe not for everyone. We saw a person run a lap around Queen’s park 3 times during the time there haha.

Matt Clarke

Nice area to walk around located on University Avenue.

U Sweet Mama

Good park as always parks are good but this one is in the heart of Down town Toronto, which makes it even more good.

Tom McGreevy

Plenty of space to find a place to chill out. Good shadow if you like to stay out of the sun. The North half is not usually crowded. The South half sees political demonstrations as the legislature faces that way.

Malak Gaafar

Very chill, has nice vibes and is very lively. Good place to relax on a sunny day or go for a walk.

LEONARDO BLENGINI

Excellent Victorian style, nice place. The building and the nature are in great armony.

Nick Ryeland

Wonderful park with many easy walking paved trails winding through it. Amazingly quiet despite being in middle of a busy city. Many comfy benches throughout and a smattering of tables. Excellent spot to enjoy lunch, even during a pandemic! I've lived in Ontario for more than 60 years, and worked in downtown Toronto for 20, yet I had never been here before today, but I will be back when opportunity arises!

celina mercado

Was here for the climate change protest. Afterwards, I found a very nice place to sit and relax for a bit.

Saad Khan

A scene location to enjoy the nature in busy downtown. Must visit if you need that 15 minutes blank headspace space

Paul Radu

Very beautiful, in the heart of city!

Wai01

Nice, clean and small city park in the middle of downtown Toronto. A few people were having a picnic, others were reading, walking running bikes or jogging. It's located between the Legislative Assembly of Ontario and the Royal Ontario Museum. Good to have a nice stroll through a park.

Anandeep Chaudhuri

Great place to enjoy nature, such diverse variety of trees and this park also has historic landmark statues.

Gregory Kam

Beautiful architecture and rich Canadian history make this a great stop while visiting Toronto. Tours are free and last about a half hour. You need to check in all electronics but you can enter the chamber while in session and witness our Ontario government in action. I recommend Question Period as a must see. Arrive a half hour early to get a good seat.

Jagdeep Singh, REALTOR

Newer entrance with enclosed space for people to wait while they are let inside. This place has beautiful architecture and detailed engravings on the exterior.

Flavia Brites

Beautiful place. It should be better in warmer weather, though.

Basil Joy

A beautiful green park in the middle of Toronto. If you visit Toronto you mush Visit Queens Park. A lot of history behind this park and relaxing place to spend some time beside of your busy schedule. A statue of king Edward VII in the middle of the Garden is been brought from India.

Ivan Likov

If you are looking for a nice and relaxing park in downtown Toronto, this is the place to be. You can easily do 15K steps here without getting bored of the scenery. You can even jog or sit on a bench.

Salmeen Shakil Choudhury

The park is small yet very nice. Good for a small evening walk or to spend some time alone.

julie buckham

Peaceful area with lots of charm. Plenty of info about statues including a one dedicated to firefighters and the canons from Sevastopol and a moving war memorial.

Ali Siddiqui

A nice place to walk, plenty of space to move about and benches for sitting. If you are looking to exercise by running, jogging, or walking the park has a path that runs around the perimeter. After the renovations the park has a lot more lighting, so it definitely feels safer at night to walk through.

Nathan Smith

Beautiful garden. Nice place to sit in relax in the middle of the city

Gilles Saindon

Beautiful parks, inside is fantastic history.

Luke

I would say that Queen's Park is the best "circuit" for dog walking, jogging, running, picnics, gatherings (if COVID-19 measures allow), reading, lying on the lawn etc. There is a gravel path all around the park where you can jog and the distance for one round is around 800 metres (my estimate from my smart you watch). The trees provide ample shade so that in the hot summer, you don't get burnt in the hot sun. In the autumn, you get some protection from the strong UV rays here in Canada. It's always a pleasant walk from the Parliament House where the guards or policemen on duty are really friendly and respond when you greet them all the time. This park is pretty much in the heart of downtown Toronto so it is a very convenient place to exercise and have some form of recreation, without having to go all the way to the harbour front. Nice fresh air in the middle of the city with loads of traffic during peak hour. P.S. you can pretty much walk to Yorkville, Royal Ontario Museum or even U of T from here.

It's best season to visit now. Colourful woods, benches, statues, memorial square and magnificent building.

DK Chen (David)

There appears to be an all-around renaissance man of the people working in this building who seems qualified to shuffle snow, drive school buses and ambulances.

chris ice

well lots of joyus laughter and fun people standing up for their rights and what they believe in I'm deeply moved and impressed by the unity and morals of the 2022 road to freedom convoy stand strong and keep rooting for the people #native #freedom

Amir F

Great place for walking or bringing your dog for play. Specially in early morning you can enjoy weather and atmosphere. I usually come for running before there get busy.

Andrae Satterswaite

I was at the park to show my support at the Freedom Rally agaisnt the vaccine mandates. There were probably thousands of people who showed and recognize that their freedom of choice is in danger. One of the speakers was leader of the People's Party of Canada, Maxime Bernier. We proceeded with a March through the streets and it all was something really cool to be a part of!

Marcel Takaoka

Great historical park to visit. The Legislative Building is awesome. A lot of green areas to walk around.

Jane Lee

Beautiful park to fight government cuts with 20 000 of your closest friends. They will probably have to replace the grass after today though.

Paul Bondy

Beautiful building and the grounds are really well kept. My wife was at an appointment and I had to take my son somewhere so we we’re playing in the field out front. It could use a playground for kids. ( very fitting for a government building ) or the politicians. Would love to see Ford go down a slide. Seriously though I could not get over the detail on the building itself it is amazing.

Alex K

Beautiful place to spend some leisure time or for a jog. It's the site of Ontario legislative assembly and numerous statues. There is a loop of around 800 meters on the northern side for jogging.

SungA Choe

Great park for the event, not so much at night time.

Prashant Dc

Huge park with lot of space for runs and walks. Located in the prime Toronto area.

Wesam Yousry

A very spacious park in the heart of Toronto with so many trees, and lots of squirrels ☺️

Abhishek Anand

Beautiful lawns and garden. Great for photography with the backdrop of the Ontario Legislative Building. There are a few cherry trees there and that makes it even better in the blossom season.

jubin saraswat

It's a nice park. Have been there many times. Not very crowded. Nice place to jog.

Erin Roberts

Nice little park. Please keep your dogs on leash. It's not Ramsden park

Mr JAMIE D. TORONTO

Queens Park is a hub in the downtown core that borders so many awesome places; Yorkville, University of Toronto, Bloor Street shopping. There is tons of seating, chairs, benches, picnic tables, to relax and feel tranquil while being in the direct centre of the city. Its as equally enchanting in the evenings ❤

Jan Smith

This place needs a kids playground! While the grass ateas are going through restoration, the kids have only the statue on which to play. Plenty of benches, trees, and shade, bit not much else.

Christoff Alfonso

The Building is the Centre of the City Political District. Sometimes remains me of Buckingham Palace even though the Political MP Leaders lead by the Premier are the Ruling Body of the Province of Ontario. Very pretty to look at especially at the season of Summer ????

Jennifer Bronfenbrener

Very lucky this park is near us. Not many other big parks are around the village. You can sit at a table, sit & talk on benches (in the shade or sun), run around, run through, whatever activity you want. Sometimes home to tents & seems to be the #1 place for protests (on Saturdays specifically) but still worth a visit.

Andrea Lodewyk

Today we were at the 21 gun salute behind Queen's Park.

Konstantin8006

Jan 22/2022 Great freedom rally! Glad to see thousands of ppl!

Giuseppe Gnazzo

By the looks of queens Park as of December 15th there is not a single Christmas decoration in sight. A little bleak if you ask me.

Cesar Gonzalez

A picturesque public space with the Ontario Legislative Building. It's considered an urban park, and if you're coming from College street and University Avenue, looking north, it may seem small but theres much more to it behind the legislative building. Another spot for urban photography but also to other types of photography. Theres perspective lines, gardens in the summer, and memorials.

Ronald Parker

Visited the insides of Queens Park as a child for a field trip. Pretty good place or political events. Park was a nice green space too

Colin Gilham

Home to the beautiful Ontario Legislative, jaw-dropping in it's own right, also the backdrop to Canadian legends Rush's 1981 classic album Moving Pictures. A must-visit for anyone interested in the history of Ontario.

Bonnie Hui

It's just a nice place to walk through and enjoy a little bit of grass and trees in the middle of the city. It's a quick 10 to 15 min walk from end to end if you just want to walk, or you can spend a lunch hour and enjoy the trees, statues and the provincial parliament building in a serene setting.

DMC Strength

It was pretty wild actually. I was walking by and bingo bango! Thousands of folks of all different ethnicities were there protesting the various mandates in Canada. It was like one big colorful family. Oddly enough, they didn't seem to be the racist and misogynist Pierre Trudeas said I would encounter. Meh....it was cool anyway

Erich B

Nice mature trees and walking area, but surrounded in cityscape and no playgrounds or other amenities make it less appealing as park space for me

Bruce D

Pretty and relaxing park, lots of shade and some interesting historical sites.

Johnny Guevara

I happened to visit this place this park at night and I must say that I felt safe the place was clean and people just mind their own business and during that you think that I was there passing through beautiful Park!
