Lots of things to see like the Hillside Garden, High Park Greenhouse and High Park Zoo to name a few. A great place to bring family and friends to relax or visit the capybaras at the zoo. Additionally, there's several picnic sites scattered around the park. You can get a permit to use a picnic site officially from 311-Toronto and bring a BBQ to the site. Lots of public bathrooms scattered around the vast park as well which closes at dusk. Also, this park is can get really popular for the Sakura blossom season that happens in late April or early May. Most of the Sakura cherry/blossom trees are located around Hillside Gardens and there are a few by the Duck Pond as well. The sakura cherry/blossoms last for about a week to a week and a half depending on the weather. Definitely a great site for photographs!

Perfect place for a family picnic, small trek, cycling.

The vastness and the tranquility of the place is the biggest seller for tourists. Having been to tr place, the space feels serene and is the perfect spot for long strolls with friends and family

Grinning Dog

Always a great place to visit. Lots of walking trails for humans and 9ff leash walking areas and a park for doggos. Give yourself a break from the city and spend an hour wandering around High Park. You'll be glad you did.

Ida Purwanto

Love this beautiful park, you can walk, biking, hiking, picnicking or fishing.Enjoy beautiful scenery. There are 3 washroom there, mini zoo, playground for children, splash area in the summer, tennis field.

I would rank High Park as the most beautiful city park. I am so surprised by such beautiful views in my eyes. I regret that I did not come here earlier. I thought this park is beautiful only when Sakura blossom. Today I know I am wrong. I hope each city can have a park like this. People living nearby are lucky.

Osher Frank

A very Diverse park, lots of routes. Water and forest like environment. Great for running. Hiking. Or even walking with the family.

If you live in Toronto, or your are visiting Toronto, and you haven't visited this park, then you haven't completed the journey. This is a beautiful park anytime of year, period! The fall is especially beautiful because of the fall colours, but a debate could be made that the spring is more beautiful with the cherry blossoms. But, whenever you go, it will not be disappointing. Peaceful spot that allows you to reconnect with nature and energize the soul.

So much to do for adults/kids. Big play park, animals. We did the train ride around the park and enjoyed it, it’s about 30 minutes. Can take your bicycles and enjoy nature, have a picnic, they have a pool as well as a splash pad. Busy during the summer, best to get there before lunch to get parking if you want to park near play park, splash pad. Beautiful park.

Maninder Bindra

Visiting the park during blossom season was an amazing experience. Walking along the trail and enjoying cool breeze looking at white and pink blooms, clicking pictures and enjoying the road side treats. It was a great way to start the spring.

What to say about High Park? First of all, what a great green space for leisure activities to disconnect from the city. The residents that live right around it and the visitors to the nearby hospital are SO LUCKY to have such a great relaxing place nextdoor to go walk around. High Park is full of green paved and unpaved pathways, fun hills to climb, it's own zoo to check out some very cool animals, several playgrounds, a nice cafeteria style restaurants, a bathroom building, and many trees for shade. My purpose for going there was to check out the Cherry Blossom trees, but unfortunately I was 2 weeks too late. Regardless of that, it was the final touch I needed to relax and add some nature to my trip to Toronto, which, again, was a breath of fresh air, literally, in this big building-filled metropolis. While I was there I saw several families with children and older members of the family, couple of different ages, photographers, even the good old ice cream truck. They do host several events I would have really liked to go to but check them out. A very cool activity I did was climbing up a series of steps close to the zoo. I counted 92 steps. How many would you count and how long will it take you? I dare you. It's a great workout. They are uneven, so exercise caution. GO NOW!!!

Too good for all seasons.???? Enchanting landscape, a small zoo, kids play area, lots of space for picnic are all plus.???? Free access to everything there.????

Jenni

Lovely. It's early December right now but we're having a strange mostly-snowless and mild winter and it was a nice walk. There are some free parking lots in multiple locations (though I believe they are closed during cherry blossom season? Or at least very full). The park has huge old trees, varying altitudes, a lake with loons, mallards, wood ducks, beavers. Currently the beavers are making a mess of the shoreline - alot of young trees chewed up and taken. There is chicken wire around several trees now to stop the beavers from getting them. Many paved paths as well as dirt trails. It's nice to try to feel like you're not actually in the city for awhile.

Joey W

Best city park in the city. I live very close to here and it’s always a treat to visit. Different seasons offer many different things for this beautiful spot. Winter skating on the gardiner pond, spring cherry blossoms, summer cicadas, autumn foliage.

Anant Saxena

Easy to find fresh air and distanced spots to relax or workout in, as the park is quite large. Plenty of park benches, play areas for dogs and kids, and decent hiking trails on either side.

Anirban Dutta

It's a nice park. If you're cycling there, there's a long uphill stretch. Be prepared.

JUST IN TIME PRODUCTIONS (jjlbd123)

Great park to stroll..light exercise / hiking. Known for its Cherry Blossoms on spring time. Has a couple of amenities and restaurants / food vendors. Has also a lot of those portabelle public toilets that are kept well. Has a lake area which makes it more awesome! A lot of photo ops area. Parking is a challenge so better come early.

Raman Vashishat

Toronto is a city that must be walked to be fully enjoyed, even if it gets cold.Toronto's abundant parks, especially High Park (the city's largest), can be the most magical places to appreciate a fresh snowfall. "You can even skate in some of the ponds if the ice is thick enough," said Vernaza. " Snowshoeing and cross-country skiing are also permitted in some parks (including High Park), though you have to bring your own equipment.

Soph

The best public park I've ever been to. It has so much to do it's honestly hard to see it all. If you have kids this is a full day of entertainment for them, with a huge castle playground, a zoo, and nice cafes, icecream, and a fun little train you can take to get around. Bit difficult to navigate and bathrooms and water are hard to come by so take advantage of restrooms and washrooms when you come across them. Definitely pack extra water and expect a long walk depending on how far you wanna go, we were exhausted by the end of our first visit!

Mithun

Beautiful park to go with kids. The play place was amazing. Trees have beautiful colors in fall. $5/person 1.5km train ride was fantastic.

Tim Chase Photography

Always something new to see weather you have visited once or twenty times. Amazing views and images. There is two different pond areas great for watching wildlife. The largest of the two ponds is right off Spring road and large parking lot, free. This area is always quiet and not many cars any day of the week.

Deborah Lin

The zoo is really fun!

aloma weiman

Would have been nicer had more of the trees changed color. But still very pretty

Divya Srivastava

Lovely & huge park with a small pond. This park is also famous for Cherry Blossom. Excellent for walking too. You need a full day to cover max spots of this park.

Patel Jay

High Park is a great attraction in Downtown Toronto, has great walking area trails and Bike ???? lanes has different views and attractions at park. Family friendly environment and has parking lots limited at different areas nearby. Dog walking and lots of fun time. Enjoy In Nature Overall great location. Please keep city and parks clean Use garbage bins provided for trash ????. During times of covid wear masks ???? in public and maintain safe distance. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Amir Tajik

Cherry blossom time in spring, High park, Bloor st., Toronto An exceptional place to spend time and have fun with family and friends or even alone ????

Lisa Madeleine Smith

An enormous Park with a mix of beautifully landscaped grounds of native and tropical flowers, plants and trees and wild areas for hiking and biking. The Japanese Garden is elegant and Colborne Lodge is an interesting heritage building. Grenadier Pond is tranquil and lovely to stroll around. Chipmunks are everywhere so please bring peanuts! The zoo is charming and the animals seem very well cared for - Bison, Mouflon Sheep, Llamas, Peacocks and Emus amongst others. The Grenadier Cafe offers delicious refreshments. There is also a fabulous new children's recreation area. We are so lucky to have this fabulous Park on our doorstep!

Eric Fox

We went for a hike around the pond. Its nice they close it to cars on the weekends. The animals in the zoo were awesome too see.

sayo 1002

My favorite park in the city of Toronto. I always enjoy to see wild animals, flowers and trees every time I visit here.

Kazim Akheel

Definitely 5 star for what its worth. Stunningly beautiful! The other reviews have gotten the right... BUT: 1. Entrance and parking information is not intuitively available. Had me going around in circles, in traffic, for a while. Info on Google maps needs to be updated. 2. Place could do with better maps, once inside. 3. Except near the entrance, washrooms were closed.

Jeffery Sparks

It's one of my favorite places to go walking with my dogs. In the past few years, on weekends they close it off to cars so it gives you plenty of space to walk and adds to the appeal. Like it is large enough that you can escape the city even though you're still downtown.

janki patel

A beautiful spot for family time!! A wonderful stop for youth to plan a picnic and a lovely park for children to play around. An area surrounded by lots of greenery and bushes. You must go at least once! Number of food options available including fast food, burgers, ice creams, candy bars. Portable public washrooms are available. They have rent and ride bicycle services which is convenient!! They have a mini train service which helps people move all around the park. They have two options half hour pf ride and a full hour of ride at very cheap prices!! Best place for photography!!

Constantine Kurbatov

Thanks to people, animals don't really avoid humans. You can see or even touch chipmunks, raccoons, various types of ducks, swans, white herons, and many others. We play badminton here and spend 2 hours each evening with the kids. Grab walnuts with you, and you have the chance to feed squirrels or chipmunks right from your hand. It is highly recommended!

Ewelina Kobierecka

Great place for a picnic, hike, bike ride, huge off leash area, and many more. Picnic tables, tennis courts, baseball and soccer field. Accessible ♿ bathrooms. There is even a small store with hotdogs, coffee and tea on the corner near the Keel station.

Asifa Ahmed

Great place to take kids. Nice little zoo. Parking was difficult to find but once parked in a near by street, walk want too long. Nice walking paths, train ( not recommended during covid-19... But it's your choice) , Ben and jerry ice cream truck was a good snack stop.

agam gore

Beautiful and huge park, variety of greenery, bike tracks, children play area, lake side, good parking space and lot of place for playing, seating and picnic. Best time is Spring, during Cherry Blossom its exquisite. Flower color is bit …

Anna Mryglo

Beautiful park. Very good for family visits. Lots of hiking trails, labyrinth, small zoo (no feeding) and amazing wooden castle-playground. And you might spot a parent frog amongst other parents watching their kids playing :)

Abhishek Sinha

A breath of fresh air right in the middle (almost) of the city. Joyful place with full of positivity and freshness!

Brief Overview of High Park I've been to High Park many times but each time I bump into something new, discover yet another hidden corner or see a beautiful tree I never noticed before. Let me give you an idea just how large the park is: 399 acers. Yup, that's how big it is. If you really want to see the many faces of High Park you need to go in spring when nature is wide awake and everything is in full bloom, you also need to go in the fall when golden leaves cover the ground as far as the eye can see and you need to go in the winter to see just how beautiful ice and snow can be. Don't always come during the busiest times; High Park is most peaceful and relaxing early in the morning and after twilight. Around blooming season visit the park occassionally with a camera to take new pictures and post new info and updates. The park is easily accessible by streetcar and subway (see directions). If you're in the area it's worth to take a walk around the park as the neighbouring streets are very nice with lots of mature trees and interesting house fronts. The arts and crafts shops and cafés on Bloor West are also within walking distance from the park. High Park is operated by the City of Toronto and you don't have to pay an admission fee to visit it. What can you do in Toronto's High Park? The short answer is that you can do pretty much everything that can be done in most large parks:) High Park's 399 acres in the middle of Toronto is an excellent getaway for children and adults of all ages. There are many designated children's playgrounds, sports facilities, 18 picnic areas, hiking trails, large green spaces, waterfront trails, benches galore and the list goes on and on. If you need additional information about High Park please call the City of Toronto Customer Service Centre at 311. Great place for photos and picnics. Really like the leaves and changing colours during fall.

Paul Radu

Nice place. A lot of vegetation, trees.

Mark Peters

High Park in the spring can be a beautiful place with lots to offer for walking, running, cycling, eating, and just plain having a relaxing time in the outdoors. It's readily accessible from the Kipling line and the maps around the park are extremely helpful. Just beautiful. Three stars because of the ridiculous covid barriers near the cherry trees, which are now in full bloom, plus the closure of restaurants and other small businesses in and near it.

Sergio Visneskie

Great spot to take the dogs walking off leash, have a picnic, go to the zoo, ride the train, go for a run, or bike ride. Fantastic park, it is a real size park, with beautiful paths, gardens and water features. I highly recommend it!

Odette Nugara

Best park by far in Toronto! My favourite place ????

nivedita bag

Beautiful place to go and sit back and relax. It has a zoo also where you can see the local animals. You can have a family picnic here and specially when the weather is good and sunny, please go and do you walk jog and get some sun. There is a small lake beside the park. Trails are super green and is very good for taking out children in weekend

A Duffy

It's a beautiful park with lots to do. I appreciate that they closed the park to vehicles this year. It's so crowded when the Sakura's bloom, it just makes sense. I love that they have community bikes now, since the park is so big to get around. There's something for everyone; off leash hike trails, water displays, a lake view, a zoo, beautiful Flora. You can spend an entire day there

Lucía S

An absolute gem in the middle of the city. Awesome place for off leash doggies, bringing children, a quiet stroll or even running. There are some porta potties in different places and the zoo has some animals roaming around too. Some ponds with ducks too (you can't swim, these are waters collected from the streets of the city). Some routes are accessible.

Huma M

Absolutely love this park! Love the trails and the plants, very clean and well kept.

Muhammad Rehan

Good place to visit with family.free parking, washrooms open, lake side, trails,BBQ not sure, can buy ice cream there, fishing yes, park for dogs, zoo yes available but closed during covid.

Sri S

We love our visit to high park today. Lots of green , playing fields and hiking areas. There is a dogs off leash area if you have dogs. There are few animals to see in the zoo section. Would recommend to pack food as there isn't much option available in the park. There are many parking available on weekdays.Expect much traffic when you leave.(small roads / constructions / low speed limit)

Sahil Saini

beautiful Park, plenty of scenic views

Shraddha Pradhan

Did the waterfront trail. The park is clean, easily accessible and beautiful. Must visit!!

Feyi Kalu

High Park is one place that you can never get enough of. The greenery and the space is very refreshing. This is what it looks like in the fall. So beautiful, each time I visit, I see a different side of it I had never seen before. …

Nayem Islam

If you need a place for peace of mind, then i'd recommend this place. Full of natural elements. You will get a small lake ; where you can fishing. Also it has various species plants. This place is also famous for Cherry blossom.

Stephanie Lucas

I have been to High Park many times, but This trip was different. My roommate took me through the forest on paths I have never been on. It was beautiful. You can almost forget you are in the city if it wasn't for the noise of traffic. The colors of trees this time of year is absolutely perfect. Its a great place for everyone to get a little peace in the city.

Tania Golding

It's huge park property and there's a lake scenery depending what part of the park you're. There's is a off leash, dog park, tenise court, there's a zoo, opportunity to rent bicycles and ride them through out the park and much more.

Ana Luiza Valente

So many things to do! Amazing park, not at all crowded like Trinity. The Zoo is worth a quick trip. Pool has slides! Plenty of space for picnic.

Jackie Flood

High Park....Nature in the City!!! Come to High Park and you will NEVER be at a loss for something to do!!! First visit iconic Grenadier Restaurant!! Totally immerse Yourself in country atmosphere while Never leaving the City!! Whether Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter, High Park will NEVER Disappoint!!!

Paulina Noskowicz

A great place for jogging, biking, dog walks, romantic walks, picnic or just alone time to enjoy the nature. What can I say more. It’s an amazing and huge park not too far from downtown, close to Ukrainian and Polish neighbourhoods. I tend to grab some pastries from a polish bakery in Roncesvalles, then some coffee and walk to high park to eat it. … and I saw a turtle ????

M. A. Gallardo

Great park, gigantic and will be the subject of innumerable visits. Lots of nice animals and birds, parts feel like a natural forest, there are groomed gardens, a zoo, event areas, a large lake, chipmunks and lots of fresh air, right in the middle of Toronto, wonderful!

Dan L

High park is definitely is one of my favourite parks in Toronto. It's really big so you can definitely make a day out of it. Its beautiful all four seasons but ESPECIALLY in spring and fall.

Arun

One of the best place in Toronto to spend a day with family, this summer....There is small zoo for kids, childrens play area, a pond, granadier cafe. Best place for cycling too. i would really recommend all to spend atleast an evening at this park and enjoy fresh and pure nature

Pooya Shirazi

Amazing place. Words cannot describe how beautiful this place is. The routes around the pond are stunning. The place was barely crowded even though it was the weekend. There's a little Cafe right in the middle of the park which serves great fries if you're in fir a bite.

Christopher Joseph-Sudlow

Great park for dog walks and tons of beautiful flowers never hiked through this park before but it’s wonderful. Would recommend for families and photographers. Got a lot of nature shots of flowers and birds. Some nice canopies for portraits as well.

tenzin saldon

The gem of Toronto is this place. Everything is NATURE. Fresh air, tree, water and wild animals all are here????

Dr.Amani Albijadi

Tuan Bui

Beautiful park located fairly close to downtown. There's a small zoo located in this park that's FREE! Trails are very scenic and quite peaceful. Everything you could want in a park. Enjoy the day with your loved ones, pets or just by yourself!

Jennifer Dempsey

High Park never disappoints! A brisk fall walk through the main entrance, down along the water, back up through the waterfall path (empty now, for winter) completed with a meditative walk in the Labyrinth, pure bliss! Nature in the city, an escape from the hustle and bustle. A beautiful place to ground and connect ❤

Anagha Siva Nanda

Beautiful location to enjoy and chill. It also has a lake nearby making it more enjoyable!

Carolina Reina

Good for picnic with friends, nice to walk, the zoo is open now. Beautiful flowers and trees. Nice to bring your dog to work.

Akanksha Chopra

Well maintained and beautiful park. Wish they didn't have the zoo which holds animals captive for our entertainment. Other than that, great place to spend some time in solitude.

Ashley Flannery

Beautiful park. It's a nice park to walk through and bike ride. Not many picnic benches. The restaurant has good food.

Miranda Rybenko

Beautiful Fall colours, beautiful weather. Wouldn't want to be anywhere else today. ????????

JAIN SOJAN

I was surprised while walking through the woods. Situated in mid of town but can't feel the rush life inside. Well maintained perfect spot. It should come to a top place for travelers and tourist to visit. Go and see out.

Daniel Barna

Absolutely a terrific place to spend couple of hours in the hot sunny weather. Plenty of shadow and sitting areas. With the stunning wildlife, there are high chances of spotting almost all the animals that live in the park. Perfect for small gatherings, sports or a stroll around.

Kristen Holder

A very nice oasis in the city! On nice days, very enjoyable to sit next to the pond for a picnic or stroll through the woods.

Shamiyah Badu

High Park is so HUGE! My wife and I rode the train and it was a beautiful scenery with so many nice people. The zoo was also great.

Aniket Deshmukh

Quite a huge park. Very beautiful. Very well maintained. Lots of parking space but it is spread out over a distance. Great time to visit during cherry blossoms, summer and for fall colors. Parking can be very dicey on weekends after 11 am

Letícia Marcorin

Beautiful park! It's really for everybody. Places to walk your dog, great trails, places to do picnic, recreation parks for kids, ice cream trucks, there is also a cute café there with a pretty tasty butter cup

Cheryl Auger

High Park is easily accessible by public transit. The park is closed to vehicles on weekends throughout the year, but there is some street parking nearby. There are outdoor skating rinks in winter and a pool in summer. There are also plenty of trails to explore and many running and fitness groups take advantage of the open space. It's an enormous park and definitely worth a visit if you're craving some nature but don't want to deal with traffic trying to leave the city.

Konrad Michalewski

A beautiful forest in the middle of the city. On top of that there is plenty attractions for kids: outdoor pool, choo choo train, small, free "zoo", amazing playground, ponds, cherry trees, sculptures and other things. You can spend there all day with a 4 years old and not get bored.

Lorde The First

It’s so big with mini zoo, beautiful playgrounds, fun rides , splash pad and more . I love it here so much

Leola Durant Looking For Eden

A great place to visit any time of year. In the springtime the park is transformed into a sea of pink and white from the cherry trees. In autumn colours of trees change leaving a carpet of leaves on the ground. Ponds and trees are filled with wildlife and it is a beautiful location for friends to enjoy a stroll any time of the year.

Muhammad Rajput

Pretty darn good. But if you park in the wrong spot, boy oh boy you will be in for a LONG walk. I went with my family with chairs, burner, etc, and my legs gave in holding the stuff to our picnic site. Don't come where with kids unless you want to hold in your arms on your way back to the car, they will surely get very tired.

nick knickle

It is a great park to walk in. Dogs walk here. Regular people. Its worth visiting at least once

Kathryn Robertson

So nice to hike outdoors in the beautiful weather with friends I haven't seen in months. The grounds and play areas were clean and well maintained and the hiking trails were in good condition despite the previous day's rain.

Kal Sukkar

One of the best spots in the GTA. I love everything about this park. Loads of space for walking, playing or just a nice picnic. The kids playground is one of the best and the amenities are excellent. This would be my top choice.

Kii Moments

A little zoo at the park for the kids and nice trails with lookouts !! A little restaurant off one of the roads in the park . Little dirt trails too through the trees if you like a little adventure !

Peta-Gay Miller Marshall

Huge park with something for everyone in the family. There's a playground for the kids, trails, large lawn area for picnics, a pool, dog park, bike trails, etc. Each area is also large enough to accommodate large groups of people.

M Mui

A beautiful Park to see the cherry blossoms in bloom and this year, cars are banned from the park which is a huge bonus. I just wish people would stop pulling the branches to take pictures with the flowers.... that's how the beautiful trees are damaged. There's a beautiful path that leads you through the park. I come every year and love this time of season. Peak bloom this year is mother's Day weekend in 2019.

N Faraji

Don't miss visiting this park in early Spring. The freshness of nature is incredibly beautiful. There's a small zoo too where hosts some of North American animals. It's quiet interesting specially for kids.

Cara Jordon

We ❤ High Park and generally hike throughout the unmarked trails 3 times a day ????

sasika gunasekara

Such a beautiful park. The biggest park i believe in Toronto. Lots of areas to cover and explore. Has a beautiful waterfront as well. Has a maze, small zoo, a museum and many other highlights. Definitely cannot cover in a single visit. Wish there were better signage though.

Mark Ucieklak

Very nice park to bring your young kids, a date, your dog or even to get your jog on. I don't recommend biking through high park unless you got a really good bike and enjoy hills. There are a lot of hills.

Anna Nguyen

Great place in town. As it is very popular, it is always busy and crowded. The best time to come to High Park is April and May - cherry blooming season. Unfortunately, I came late so couldn’t see the blooming forest.

Rajarshi Banerjee

Good walking and cycling area. Cherry Blossoms have bloomed early, in this year, hence you won’t see them here. Try next year.

Mohit Sharma

Excellent park. Has a small zoo inside! Large dog park and hiking trail, swimming pool, tennis and several other family friendly activities. During cherry blossom season, the park is simply beautiful and consequently sees a large number of visitors. Highly recommend!

Gillian Graham

I love visiting to High Park. This time I cycled through to an area I hadn't been for a while. Each visit I always see something new This time, The reclining Willow tree' situated north west area in the Wendigo River.

Jahnavi Isukapalli

Nice place to chill. One of the beautiful parks I've ever been to. Must visit.

Caleb Cullen

High Park is an excellent place for a contemplative stroll or a secret assignation. It is an essential element of a civilized conurbation. It is a pity there aren't more of them, and that there isn't more of an effort to make light commercial opportunities available within spaces like this.

Dylan Menezes

I love to visit high park in summer and fall. This is one of the few parks that's great for both hiking and biking. We come to play tennis here too and get a court quite easily. Haven't had to wait more than 30mins for a court to free up

Mary Jane

Such a beautiful place. Off leash dog area, tons of picturesque trails, large green space for picnics and get togethers and a zoo! There was even an ice cream truck and a free concert when I went. Made for an incredible day.

Hesham Farhadi

Great park to come for a walk with family and friends. Can get very busy in the weekends. Parking is hard to find but if you come early you can park on the streets around the area. The zoo is great for kids. Washrooms are not open in the winter.

Nancy Barrett

This is a large, natural greenspace with restored oak savannahs bordering Grenadier Pond and running from Bloor Street to the Queensway. It has large off-leash dog trails, sorts facilities, gardens. The sakura (cherry) blossom display in April is famous for its beauty. The High Park Nature Centre holds indoor/outdoor nature classes and camps for children. There's a mini-zoo and a large children's play area and garden. A tram takes sightseers around the park. An annual fall hawkwatch takes place on Hawk Hill, beside the Grenadier Restaurant.

Dušan Lukač

Best and biggest park in the city. Not much to say other than it's the perfect nature escape. I love High Park!

Thasan Amir

High Park is largest municipal park in Toronto. Love to visit this natural park for Gardens, Small Zoo and Kids Playgrounds. Located at 1873 Bloor Street West. Walking distance from High Park TTC Subway Station. Great park for walking, cycling & hiking. You will see lots of people walking with dogs, also Dogs off- leash area allow your dogs to run free. Toronto's biggest attraction park, so busy on Spring (Sakura) cherry blossom season. Park Information boards are not great look, Toronto City, please update them with electronic sign boards. Please, any one coming to public park must wear mask & keep social distance. Safe for everyone. Great place for sunset photography.

Felicia Mapaderun

We went in a group on a nature walk and it was an awesome experience. It is also a good place for picnics, swimming and loads of fun activities

Zelda

Nice spot in the city. It’s not Central Park but it’s a toronto bootleg. The zoo is awesome and the trails are great for the dogs. Definitely some crackheads though

umair zaffar

Nice park , good for hiking. Cherry blossom tree festival is must see. It is so pretty. Parking is a bit issue. You have to park your car far away and walk to the park. Park entrance is closed due to cherry blossom tree festival. Park is very clean. Also they have food trucks. Over all I love visiting this park.

Rav B

Nice spot for trail walking, easy to forget you are in Toronto while here. Lots of wildlife so stop and check out the ducks in the pond. Recommend parking at Keele station and walking over as Parkside and neighbouring streets fill up quickly. Overall, nice to visit in the fall and would return.

Chris Escalona

UPDATE ZOO & PARK are closed. But tons of space to play + Geese, Swans & woodland creatures are everywhere to admire. Great place to visit with friends, family or just to exercise & relax. Clean overall (no park surrounded by a city is perfectly clean) A bunch of amenities & Photo Ops. We love to walk/hike the trails. A lot of hills. Parking entrances: Parklawn = 2 (South East Corner & lower half) Bloor = 1 (North West corner)

Eleanor Johnston

High Park stretches from Bloor Street to Lakeshore. This huge park has something for everyone: offleash dog park and trails, swimming pools and tennis courts, two beautiful children's playgrounds, theater under the stars in summer, and the Grenadier restaurant, offering diner fare in a unique setting. There's also a loop road, covered and open picnic areas with charcoal bbqs, and a free zoo.

Beautiful park with lake to walk around, bring family or friends and don't forget your dog, you can expend all day long there if the weather is nice, the park is huge with many areas and also nice space to enjoy with your dog. Park have a good restaurant with great menu all day long or just seat close to the windows drink a coffee and enjoy the view. Staff is nice very friendly

John Bajwa

One of my sons favorite places in the city. I love the trails and nature walks that pass by friendly smiling faces of parents watching the children let loose and have fun.

This is definitely a beautiful, scenic park with many trails. The beautifully landscaped park makes the walks more enjoyable. There is a very nice restaurant in the park, playgrounds for the kids, a small zoo and gated area for dogs! You can spend hours there.

I absolutely love this park! So many areas to venture and explore. I love the miniature zoo,the lakefront walk, the pool and most of all the forest area. It truly an amazing getaway from the noisy city.

High park, is one the greatest places I have ever been, a beautiful place for portraits and a fantastic vibe for all friends and family. A zoo and cherry blossoms are only some of this park's amenities, they also have a skating rink and baseball diamond. I'm sure there is more that I haven't ventured to yet. I'm excited to share this place to the world and all my friends. Please go because I KNOW you will have a good time

Great place where everyone will definitely find something to make him happy : fishing, swimming, riding bikes, hiking, playgrounds. Don't forget to take the nice red train...after hours of hiking and walking, it's a nice way to take some rest.

I haven't visited High Park since pre-covid. I missed this place. You could spend the whole day here. During the week you can enjoy free parking inside the park and less busier compared to the weekend. One of the best places in Toronto for a picnic, walks, relaxing, and the many things the park offers. Like a mini zoo, playgrounds, sports fields, and a dog park.

Great park in the city, easy to get too, public transit stops at the park, small zoo section as well.

This Park is huge it is easy to get lost inside. Don’t worry, use google maps to get you exactly where you want go. It is very well maintained. Lots of clean washrooms, restaurants and coffee shops. There are several lakes and a small zoo inside the park. I enjoyed not only the beauty of the landscape, but it is also a heaven for bird watching. A very good place to take the children.

Beautiful park with ponds and woods area and off road trails. Notice that parking lots inside the park is closed on weekends so you will need to park somewhere else. I parked on the beach. 1$ for 30 min and max is $9. There is beautiful …

It is a nice fun trail with inclines and a mix of cement and dirt paths - a medium difficulty-. Should note during this time it is somewhat crowded. There were still a couple trees with cherry blossoms. There are some wildlife which make it exciting! Seen a turtle, ducks, and chipmuncks. Also, spotted a wild peppa pig.

Visited the High Park last week but was too early that cherry blossom has not started. It is a huge park but well organized. The zoo is interesting. There are nice walking trails. Although the cherry is not ready, it was an enjoy visit. It is time for Cherry Blossom. The parking lot is re-opened as of May 14. The cherry blossom is beautiful and attractive along the path. Don't miss this opportunity or you will have to wait for another year.

I grew up next to high park and have always loved this place. Still is really nice but I wish the city would get rid of the cyclist pylons. They already have a cycling lane and these pylons have all been placed inside the driving lane. The painted white line was sufficient.

Neat park with a lot of nature. It can get visited all year for free. It is clean and not too loud. This place is specially charming when all of it can explored due to nice weather. A lot of nice people and cute dogs. Also nice for biking, walking or hanging out.

This park deserves a 5 stars because of location alone. It has pool, splash pads, the 2 parks for kids, pond, lots of trees and flowers, and offers more. The train is operating...I mean its a truck that pulls carts with people in it. Costs $5 adults, $4 kids. Runs every 30 mins and it does a little tour around the park. As soon as you arrive you hear kids laughing and screaming, families having picnics, kids playing. Its such a good vibe there.

High Park is very similar to New York's Central Park to have that much green space in the downtown area. In the spring, many people come to see the cherry blossoms and in the autumn the changing colors of the leaves. This park has pretty good variety of everything, tennis courts, soccer fields, baseball diamonds, children's playground, off leash dog park, a pond and even a zoo. And the best part... It's all free. However due to the pandemic, traffic is no longer allowed through the park, which is great cause it allows for physical distancing where you can walk on paths, sidewalks or roads. But keep an eye out for cyclists and the occasional car/truck from city workers.

Best park in Toronto. Has a little bit of everything during every time of the year!

Went today, weather was calm, temperature acceptable, peaceful; car parks are close to full. Washroom open. Nice walk.

High Park is one of my favourite places to go to take pictures or just to take a stroll and relax. I never get tired of this place because it is beautiful all season. I admire the changing colours of the leaves in the Fall, kids tobogganing in winter or building snowman, children having fun in the playground, families just enjoying their day, going out for walks, having a picnic, enjoying the bloom of cherry blossoms, going for a train ride in summer. I also enjoy watching the swans gracefully swimming in the pond. I did miss going to the park because of the pandemic. Now I can start going back again and enjoying nature. Words are not enough to describe the beauty of this park but wonderful moments seen and experienced will stay on and forever be remembered.

High Park is a very large park with lots to do and we had lots of fun. The train ride was nice too but only one train was working that day so waits were long.
